Not a Competition
Mi young's POV
I can't believe Taeyeon shut me up and convinced me to give a chance to Stephanie with just using her lips. Her kiss mesmerizes me as all she says I'd obey.
Stephanie called us for lunch. Surprisingly, she prepared a lot of foods. She can cook, I guess but let's see how it taste.
In the kitchen, I was sitting beside Taeyeon while Stephanie was in front of her.
Stephanie cooked kimchi fried rice, sweet & spicy chicken balls, bulgogi, and ramen for soup. She put rice on Taeyeon's plate, ugh. I'm Taeyeon's girlfriend, I'm the one who supposed to do that.
I hastily grabbed the bowl of chicken balls and put some on my Tae's plate. Taeyeon thanked us both.
Stephanie and I held a cup for soup, no one wanted to let go. I'm the one who will take care of Taeyeon not her. I glared at her then she rolled her eyes.
Taeyeon held the cup and we both let it go.
"Girls, I appreciate your efforts to serve me but I can do it myself. Just eat and don't mind me," Taeyeon said as she put noodles and soup in the cup.
As we eat, Taeyeon put some beef on my plate and said "Eat more, Mi young," huh! Did you see that Stephanie? I made a smug face.
Then Taeyeon also put sliced beef on Stephanie's plate "You too, eat more. You need it as a cheerleader," I groaned internally while Stephanie glanced and smirked at me.
How dare she do that? I will not compete her because we all know that Taeyeon loves me, she's my girlfriend.
And Taeyeon is not a prize to win.
"Your cooking is delicious Steph, thank you for preparing us lunch," Taeyeon complimented.
"You're always welcome Taetae," Stephanie widely smiled at Taeyeon. And Taetae? Calm down Mi young. Just calm down. What a copycat.
"It's too salty," I muttered playing my foods on my plate.
"Um Taetae, we don't have stock of foods. I think we need to buy groceries." Stephanie suggested. We? She's really feeling at home huh?
Taeyeon nodded "Sure."
"I'll just wash the dishes so we can go after," Stephanie proposed.
"No need Stephanie, I will go with Tae and we will buy the groceries," I said nonchalantly.
Stephanie pursed her lips, don't try to compete girl... Taeyeon's mine.
"We can wait for her Mi young, let's go all together so we can have a bonding time and I will help her with the dishes," Taeyeon said. I huffed, why she always consider to be with Stephanie. Obviously, this freak likes her and it annoys me.
"Whatever," I scoffed.
Outside the house with my Tae, we're waiting for Stephanie. Aishh, that girl!
"Why don't we just leave her? We can go without her."
Taeyeon exasperatedly sighed "Mi young, I notice that you're like competing with Steph. There's no competition okay? Both of you are important to me."
I sighed "But that girl obviously like you."
Taeyeon shook her head "She's just a friend Mi young and I thought you will give her a chance?"
"I didn't promise, I said I will try-"
Taeyeon cut me off "But I can see that you're not trying Mi young. Please... I'm doing this for you to know her. She have issues that's why she's here and I want her to open it to you. I want you to be her friend Mi young. You're both important to me and I want you both in my life. Stephanie as my friend and you, as my lover." She pleaded as she looked deeper in my eyes looking for something.
I feel quite guilty, she's right but seeing Stephanie makes me jealous because Taeyeon was giving her attention too.
I exhaled heavily.
It's hard for me to give that chance because of our past, she bullied Taeyeon.
But what if she really change for better?
I will not know it if I don't try.
Maybe if I give a chance to know her, I will understand Taeyeon.
Yes I'm curious why Taeyeon let Stephanie stay in their house, she didn't tell me anything about it.
Fine, I will try to know Stephanie and find out.
I will try to control my jealousy.
I wish I can.
