~ One Year Later ~

The date with Oscar went so great that we got engaged six months later and today is our wedding and I'm super happy and excited to be marrying the man of my dreams. The wedding will be small and simple and only include family and the homies and then we only have Jasmine as my maid of honor and Cesar as Oscar's best man. The wedding is in the back yard of Oscar's house at sunset and we will be surrounded by tons of fairy lights that the homies put up for us. Walking down the alise towards Oscar gave me butterflies like never before. When I was arms reach Oscar reached out and grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him causing everyone to laugh. The ceremony flew passed by so quick that before we knew it it was time to say our vows and I went first. Holding Oscar's hand tightly I looking into his eyes and say "I've been in love with you since I was ten but never in my wildest dreams did I think we would be here today. People see you as this scary and intimidating gang member but to me your the man who does everything in his power to make sure his family is safe. Your also a undercover teddy bear, cute and cuddley." that caused people to laugh and Oscar to glare at them. Squeezing his hand again I say "I love you more and more each and everyday and nothing you ever do will change that.". When I finished it was Oscar's turn and he took a deep breath and said "I been in love with you since I laid eyes on you but I pushed my feeling down because I thought you deserved better. You do deserve better but that thought now just makes me be a better man everyday. I promise to love and protect you everyday more than the day before. I love you Mi Reina.". After the vows were done we hear "By the power invested in me by the state of California, I pronounce you husband and wife. Oscar, you may now kiss your bride!" pulling me in Oscar kisses me and everyone cheers.
