'They'll run, run and run. They'll run the sun down. But what does it matter, they can't find the answers they desperately look for. So let them run, they'll never go far, their running in place.'

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and if the the beholder sees in black and white, what difference does it make?
Well that changed for someone, after meeting james, Robin's life started to look up, their out look changed and it revealed what they had been missing. Someone who sees things that others don't.
they have to fight the spin. The spin of the world is not the spin that their fighting. It's spin of high school. The spin that throws you through a loop everyday. There's always a new rumor or gossip. Some are out for blood, others just want to get out of school as fast as humanly possible. And in Robin's case, their trying to get by, their at the bottom of the social hierarchy.
Robin is possibly one of the least known people in the school. The only people who see them aren't good at all.
...
Eliza, her dad owns a massive company, apparently her dad went to this high school. There's veruca, she's with the right crowd, she knows everyone and everything. And then there's Ashley Smith, the demon queen herself, she's rich and practicality runs the place. Don't even get Robin started on Jason Smith, he's the worst,  and  Ashley's twin brother, even worse.
...
Run or hide? Hiding never works, closed spaces make Robin panic, their extremely claustrophobic, closets and lockers are tight spaces that they try to avoid as much as possible.
Getting locked in a locker is always something they have feared. And then there's running, they can run from their bullies, but not forever. They can run until their legs give out, they can run for their whole life. But it's like their running is place, they can't out run what they fear the most. They will try to out run their own shadow. This is a race they can't win. something oh so familiar about this kid, like their grandfather, they are chasing a mystery with out answer. Robin is chasing something that they'll never understand, and they're being hunted as well, an endless cycle. So, run and run.Out run the sun, prove them wrong. chase the sun down. But they're heart and mind wouldn't last, at least with out help, and that brings us to now..
...
The forest just in sight, breaking into a sudden sprint.  Ashley had sent someone after them, of course she would do that. The wind picked up, and their legs growing sore from running for so long. They now weaved in between the narrow trees, looking for the trails that they follow when ever they came out here. Robin was running blindly, yet they seemed calmer, even slightly confident. They stopped running after they were sure that they were no longer being followed. Leaning on a tree, taking deep breaths and trying to figure out where they were. They can't really go back the way the came, they know who ever Ashley payed is still out there.  They sighed, they were going to be home late, and they didn't want to worry anyone, so they started to head back. The call of birds over head, a small blue feather catches their eyes, a feather. This pick the small feather up, looking around for the bird that it came from. They keep moving, taking the feather with them.
*time skip/Robin's pov*
I finally got home, my legs sore from walking, burrs had caught on my clothes and maybe a leaf or two in my hair. Collapsing on the couch, my hand wandering to the feather which I had shoved into my pocket. It's blue, black markings and a white tip, maybe a bluejay's feather?  Running my thumb over the feather, zoning out. "Robin, what happened?" A voice pulled me from my thoughts. It's was my dad (John). "I'm fine, I just decided to take a run through the woods, it didn't go to plan." He hesitated to accept that as a answer, but in the end he bought it. I walked over tho the bathroom, Looking into the Mirror and realized how bad it actually was, a small cut under my left eye that had started to slightly bleed, small beads of blood had start to drip. Turning away from the mirror, trying to forget that I was bleeding. Just thought of blood alone makes me feel sick. Cleaning the cut off and placing a small bandage over it.
