October,  the leaves changing from green, to vibrant golds, reds and browns. Robin stood on the porch. it was late Friday night,  they were watching the stars shine and the leaves fall from branches, drowning in a over sized hoodie. Their eyes watched the leaves, tapping their foot on the wooden porch below. The house was quite, no one was awake, just them, the trees, stars and sky.
Robin watched the world silently, their notebook was beside them, on the railing. Foot steps snapped them out of their thoughts, a familiar face , James, he knew they would be awake, he always knows. "James, what are doing here.. it's like three am.." robin mumbled, seeming like they're in a state of half awake and half asleep. "Just wanted to drop by." He stood beside robin, pulling them toward him, robin started to lean against James. The two talked for awhile.
"although summer nights are warmer. I always love the fall, and I love it even more, when your here.. with me.." Robin mumbled, their face going slightly red. "Well, love you as well. I really do" James said, pulling robin to him, almost protectively. Robin wrapped their arms around him.  Before robin could say anything, James had picked them up, causing them to yelp in a way. Robin looked way embarrassed. "Every time, every damn time. You need to stop doing that, god" Robin huffed, still startled by James suddenly picking them up. He knows they won't admit it, but  Robin likes being carried, he can just tell. He only laughed I little bit, pushing the door open, trying to get to Robin's room as quietly as they could. Some how, the two of them didn't get noticed, and if anyone other then Alyssa noticed? Robin would never hear the end of it, never.
Robin sat down on their bed, inviting James to cuddle with them. "Cmon, you know you want to, please?". James sat next to Robin who started to lean into James almost immediately.
"I love you James, you know that? I love, not matter what my stupid family says about you." Robin said, cuddling into James side. "Yeah, I love you to Robin.." James said, watching them as they fight to keep their eyes open. Robin was nearly asleep, they never slept properly, nightmares or the dark keeps the awake. Yet they always find sleep when he's with them.
He turned onto his side, allowing robin to snuggle up to his chest, finding their spot, and quickly falling asleep, with James watching over them.
