The tick of the clock, mocking her every breath, irritating and persistent. Waiting, she's been playing nice since then. The tick of the clock was like the ticking time bomb that was her own mind. As far as anyone else knows, she isn't cable, or able to do such terrible things. Why would someone with such a pretty face ever hold such a deep grudge against someone so unimportant? So insignificant? So..stupid?
All he ever did was hurt her. Why would she not be angry? She had every right to be. But she still remains in control of her own mind, no she wouldn't go down the same path of her father's. This was different, or was it? Lines of morality blurred, she told herself that he'd pay, that she would get her vengeance. But she waits, listening to the steady tick of the clock. The way she remains so clam and in control is something she felt her father lacked. Her father was a killer, that's not excusable, but he had no control, he acted on what he thought was right with no care for the consequences. But she knew what the consequences are, well aware that once it's done, it's done.
She remains calm, eerily so.
Waiting patiently.

It was ten minutes after midnight. Right on her mark. Only god knows why he's out and about so late, but Winter follows. He's surprisingly unaware. Does he think he's untouchable? That bad things can't happen to him? If he does, his karma is about to catch up to him.
A part of town that is relatively slow at this hour. Winter stalked behind him, he was handed to the park, wasn't he?
...
Blood, blood stains the pipe Winter had use to bush his skull in.
Small specks of blood on her shirt and face and his body laying on the floor of the forest,
she snapped back to reality, realizing that she had to get out of here, and quickly.
...
And she got away, she got away with it, but she payed for it.
(Very short, but it gets the point across.)
