Back to the day after Aquarius and Deku first met......

"Hey, Deku.." Aquarius looked at the boy. "Yea?" "I'm bored, do you mind if I tell you something?" "Ok" Deku replied. "We little creatures can live forever except if we get killed." "Really?!" "Yep... actually... if you don't mind... can I share my background story with you? Cause I wanted to tell someone that I trusted...." Aquarius lowered her head, she looked a bit sad. "Sure...." Deku held her hand. She began her own story...

Aquarius' POV

It was dark, I couldn't see anything.... it was cold, everywhere is black, I couldn't feel warm.... where am I? I tried to stand up, but I couldn't. I tried to turn around, but I couldn't. I tried to open my eyes, I couldn't..... I was locked, not in a cage. But in a container, filled with smelly chemicals. 

I was born in a 'loving' family and I was the only child in it. Everything was fine until the year I turned six. My father left my mother because of certain reasons. From that day on, my father didn't ever come back again. I didn't know what happened, so I kept asking my mother. Every time I ask her or mention something about my father, she will use a knife to stab me. I was horrified, I cried and stayed in my bedroom all the time. I dare not to go out of my bedroom as I often heard screaming noises outside the living room. One night, I went out from my bedroom to the kitchen to get some food as I didn't eat for about a week. I heard those screaming noises again from the bathroom on the way back to my bedroom. The bathroom door didn't lock, so I peeked inside. I could never forget the moment of what I saw in it. A terrifying-looking monster, with big eyes, wearing a big smile and sharp teeth. (I'm not very good at describing horrible things... search cartoon cat on the website to see the picture of the monster, they are a bit alike) I was shaking terribly, my eyes were pouring out hot tears. I dare not to make a sound but I couldn't stop myself from thinking it. "Mother.... is that you....?" My mouth moved itself. The monster turned to me. It wanted to attack me but I couldn't run away. Looking through the monster's eyes, I can feel my mother screaming inside. "Aquarius! Runaway! Mother was sorry about everything that I did to you... I didn't mean to do that, but I was hungry! I need to eat!" Eat? Eat what? I didn't have time to think anymore. I have to RUN. I stood up and my legs started to move. Faster... faster... Faster! I dashed out, jumped, and escape. I couldn't remember much, millions of question marks popped up from my head. I want to know why... I want to know how... I need to know everything that happened in these few years! Soon, I went to a dead end. The monster was still chasing after me. What should I do? I panicked.... maybe my life is gonna end here... I close my eyes, waiting for the pain. Nothing happened. When I opened my eyes again, the monster collapsed. A boy was standing there. He had dark green hair and a sword. It seems that he had slab the monster. "Thanks..." I cried. My voice was shaking heavily. "No problem! Are you hurt, little girl? I can bring you back to my house if you don't mind!" His eyes and smiles were kind, he was like the sun shining in the sky. The boy brought me back to his house, he gave me fresh fruits and warm soup. "Girl, You can stay here until you get enough rest." "I have a name... it's Aquarius." I felt like I can trust him. He looked at my innocent eyes and he lowered his head. "I'm sorry... I killed your mother...." he apologized. I was a bit surprised, "how come you know she's my mother?" "Of course, I know. Your mother was turned into a monster by one of the villains which is a scientist. I'm one of those explorers who are finding the villains now." My dad is a villain? ..... Maybe I shouldn't think too much... On the day after that, I went home to grab my stuff. I decided to follow the boy to find the villains and he also agreed with me to help him. We went to different places to search for the villains. Although it was a long way, we did many things together. Every moment with him was really happy... I treasured everything unforgettable memories that he and I made together... I.. began to have deeper feelings towards him... I didn't know what was that, I felt my face burning when I'm around him... butterflies in my stomach... my heart beats faster and faster.... was that... something you call love?

  On my 12 year birthday, I decided to tell him my feelings. However, he, the person I hated the most, spoiled my day. "Aquarius, do you mind waiting for me here? I'm going to get each of us ice cream. Stay here, ok?" "Okie" I smiled at my crush. I was waiting outside the store happily until I heard someone screaming. After the screaming sound, a large group of people was running towards me. I was confused. "Hey, children! There's a group of monsters coming here! You better run now!" A villager ran past me. I decided to run- but wait! What about him! I can't leave him alone! I have to stay! "Oh my...a little girl in the street by herself...huh?..." I heard a voice. I turned back, a tall guy was there. He was handsome for sure...but who is he?.. wait, no... IS HE THE VILLAIN?! That person?! No, I can't think anymore... I have to run... but I can't move... my legs were shaking and I'm sweating... "help..." I whispered. "Stop over there!" I can recognize my crush's voice... he was there to save me again! "Aquarius! Run!" He shouted. I was too scared to move. "Run!" No.... wait... what am I doing? I couldn't think of any at that moment... I was too scared to move again... like the first time I met him... why?.... am I too weak... or not... My crush was fighting with the villain in front of me. When the villain attacked, he needed to protect me with his best, avoiding the villain to hit me... he... did his best for me... The villain suddenly grabbed me. He whispered, "Hey Aquarius, is your mother, my wife living happily in hell because she hurt you?" He smirked. My eyes widen. That villain... is my father! "Let go of Aquarius at once!" My crush had scratches and wounds all over his body, he was bleeding seriously but I couldn't do anything at that moment. Tears pour out of my eyes. Seeing my crush bleeding for me made my heart hurt even more. "Oh.. sorry for that but please don't interrupt our conversation between my daughter and me.." my father smirked. He turned back to me, and spoke, "You know what, my girl. As you know... I'm the villain and also the brilliant scientist who combines different DNA to make a new creature, and your mother, who fell in love with me is willing to be one of my experiments!" He laughed happily. I was boiling with anger, "YOU MONSTER TURN MUM INTO A WIRED CREATURE THAT WILL EAT HUMAN?! SHE USE TO BE A KIND ONE!" I cried, I couldn't believe that. I could feel tears rushing out, I was very angry yet sad. My crush is still trying to pull me out of my father's hand, but he kept getting stabbed by my father. "Shhh... don't shout with your beautiful voice... your mother is willing to be my experiment because of love... she loved me so much that she is willing to help..." "I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU! NEVER!" I continue to shout. "It may be hard for you to believe but I must tell you this..." he smirked again and kept on slabbing my crush... "You are also one of my experiments, Aquarius... you're no longer a human... by today, age 12.. you'll turn into a human-fox as I expected... Congratulations..." He smiled at me, it was a fake smile. "Give back Aquarius!" My crush held his sword, he was about to slice my father into half from the back. My father turned, he gave him an emotionless face, held up a short knife.........slab...... ... "ah........." At the time... It seems time has stopped... all I could see is, my father... which I called him villain.......

 My father dropped me, "I'm done with today... see you again, my dear daughter, Aquarius...." the villain vanished. The next thing I knew was, I ran to my crush,... No .... No ....No...... NO! "No! Please No! Don't die! You can't!" I was crying, the first time my heart hurt a lot... It hurts so much that nobody had ever felt it before... "Aquarius... before I go...
