World Heroes' Mission: The Chase

So the third movie arc is now a go, and immediately, you can tell how big the stakes are in this arc. The League of Villains war in Japan was bad, but this Humarise terrorist group is on a global scale, they're literally trying to commit genocide. And with Cry having recently had his mother be attacked and put into a coma, he's got quite a big chip on his shoulder. And then there's the usual cast of P.H students, heading off for vacation. Figured it'd be a funny idea to have then enemies Harper and Lisa go off together. And even the Injustice Squad is getting in on the action. Humarise is picking a big fight with them, that's for sure. But that's enough about last chapter, let's get onto the next one! Enjoy!

-The Next Morning-

As the rest of the world was unaware of the events that had occurred the previous night, the heroes went on to continue in their top secret search for the Trigger bombs and Humarise's leader, Flect Turn. But for everyone else, everything went about normally for them.

-Otheon Slums District-

A boy and his younger siblings were waking up for the day, not an adult in sight. They lived in a rundown trailer, along with many others around them. The oldest boy got changed, putting on some tattered and stitched up pants, a shirt, and shoes, along with a tan jacket, some grey gloves, and a red headband with a pair of sunglasses over it. And, atop his left shoulder was a small pink bird.

"Alright, you two, i'm off to work. You guys take care of yourselves today, alright?" The oldest boy said to his siblings as the other two, a boy and a girl, were making themselves breakfast.

"We will, Rody! Good luck today!" His siblings told him as the bird on Rody, the oldest boys shoulder, began to chirp. "Oh, and you too, Pino! See ya later!"

"And remember, if someone comes to the door and it's not me, don't answer it! I'll be back before dinner! See ya, guys!" Rody said as he left their trailer and began making his way into the main district of Otheon. He appeared to have his own specialized route he'd take as he slid down railings, climbs up some pipes along buildings, jump from roof to roof, and jump down into some awnings. Rody then stopped in an alleyway when he heard the roaring sound of a plane engine come overhead. He looked up to see a huge black cargo plane with the symbol "WHA" on the side. "What the heck are heroes doing here? Otheon's a dead zone for criminal activity; the police can handle pretty much anything here. Weird."

Rody continued down his path until he arrived at a bar just outside the main section of the city. He stepped in and, besides the bar owner, it was empty as it was still early in the morning.

"Sup, old man! I'm here for another job. So, whatcha got?" Rody said, plunking himself down onto a bar stool.

"I don't got nothin' for someone like you who screwed up your last job. Why should I bother when you couldn't even handle the simplest of things?" The bar owner said, cleaning glasses as Rody tilted his head back and sighed loudly.

"I already told you, that wasn't my fault, it was those guys you paired me up with. Besides, I still delivered in the end, right? You got paid, I got paid, it worked out. So come on, can't you cut me some slack and give me a job for the day, please?" Rody asked as the bar owner just rolled his eyes and turned his back to Rody. "Please, you wouldn't be doing it for me. I need this gig so I can pay for food for my brother and sister."

"Shut it, kid. You know i'm a sucker for little kids. Geez, fine. I may have one job you can do. Here, this is what ya gotta do." The bar owner said as he turned around and handed Rody a piece of paper with his instructions.

"Hm.... alright, seems easy enough. And uh... is there any chance I can get a bit more pay, please?" Rody asked as the owner just started to laugh.

"Ha! After some of the stunts you've pulled, no way! I've stuck my neck out for you more than once, kiddo. And until I say so, you'll get your usual payout. Now get going." The owner said as Rody thanked him and headed out into the city for the day.

-Elsewhere in Otheon-

"Remind me again why we're the ones stuck doing errands for the others?" Shinso asked as he, Cry, and Refracta, all clad in their hero costumes, were all walking through the streets carrying bags of groceries. With their time having extended in Otheon, they had to hold up in a hotel until their job was done here. So these three were sent off to get food for all the rooms.

"Because, and I hate to say this, we're all the lowest ranking members of our team. So we're the ones who got stuck with this job." Refracta explained as Shinso just sighed.

"'Lowest ranking?' They do realize you're the sidekick of the number 12 hero of our country right? Not to mention Cry here stopped the League of Villains? If anything, we should be at least in the middle, if not higher ranking. Maybe not me, but you two for sure." Shinso said as Cry just chuckled to himself.

"Hey, i'm not complaining. Have to do this at home anyways, i'm used to picking up groceries." Cry said as Shinso just gave him a look.

"But couldn't you just, you know, make most of this stuff? I get that your quirk couldn't make like vegetables and fruit, but why not just make everything else yourself and teleport it to our rooms here?" Shinso asked as Cry just laughed even more.

"Because that'd be cheating, and that's something I don't really like to do. Besides, grocery shopping can actually be a great form of exercise, especially if you have to carry a lot like we do." Cry told him as, suddenly, an explosion happened right down the street from them all.

"Damn, come on, you two!" Refracta shouted as Cry quickly used his quirk to teleport the groceries to their hotel rooms before taking off towards the explosion. It was a local bank and the three could see two men with quirks rushing out, a briefcase in ones hands. They quickly split up upon seeing the heroes coming after them. "Arsenal, Persona, you two go after the one heading down that alley! I'll take care of the other one!"

"Right!" Cry and Shinso both replied as they split off from Refracta to take down their villain.

"I'm not letting you get away from me!" Refracta shouted as she chased her villain up a huge flight of stairs.

"Like you can even catch me! See ya!" The villain yelled as he thrusted his arms behind him. He then let loose bursts of what appeared to be stardust which increased his speed.

"Oh I will! I always do! Whip!" Refracta shouted as she clapped her hands together and created a light whip between them. She then, well, whipped it at the villain and snagged him by his right leg, pulling him hard and making him fall on his face. She then pulled him in and tied him up with her whip. "That's one down. You boys better not lose yours, or i'll give you hell when you get back."

-With Cry and Shinso-

"Did you see where he went!?" Shinso asked as the two were following the trail left by the villain. He had some sort of quirk that let him make a cyclone around his body which increased his speed.

"Yeah, I still got eyes on him! Over there, heading into that alley!" Cry shouted, pointing to the alley as Shinso took the lead and put on his voice changer mask.

But as the two were just about to get into the alley, the villain was passing by someone who he handed the briefcase too before continuing to book it.

"Huh? Why's he in such a rush?" Rody Soul questioned as he turned his head to see two heroes rushing into the alley. He turned tail and ran down a side alleyway. "Oh, that's why!"

"Think you can trick him into talking with you?" Cry asked as Shinso gave him a nod. However, as the two continued their chase, Cry looked down a side alley as he was passing it. He saw a boy, Rody, rounding a corner with the same stolen briefcase in his hands. "Shinso, there's a third! I'm going after him!"

"Be careful!" Shinso shouted as Cry went down the other alley to chase Rody. As for Shinso, he adjusted his mask before speaking with his altered voice. "Hey man, we lost them!"

"Wait, really? Nice!" The villain said as he suddenly stopped dead in his tracks and gave a blank stare.

"And just like that, you're mine!" Shinso said as he used his bonding cloth to subdue the villain. "Alright Cry, now just get that third guy and we'll be done here."

-With Cry and Rody-

'Damn it, why'd those guys have to get the attention of some heroes!? The police are easy to deal with, but a hero's much trickier to lose!' Rody thought as he looked behind him and saw Cry come running around a corner, chasing after him. 'Oh snap, one of them saw me! Guess I really will have to try and lose 'em after all!'

"Stop! Give up now and no harm will come to you!" Cry shouted but Rody gave no response. Instead, Rody took a quick left corner and jumped off a wall, reaching up and pulling himself onto a fire escape staircase. "Can never be easy for me, can it?"

Cry followed by doing the same, jumping up onto the fire escape, but Rody was already 3 flights up and nearing the rooftop of the building. So Cry had to improvise choosing to propel himself up using his quirk to control the wind. He began to fly up and slowly gain ground on Rody, but all of a sudden, Cry was attacked by a small pink bird. Pino, Rody's companion, was pecking at him harshly and made Cry lose his focus when he was pecked near his eye. His quirk deactivated and Cry fell and hit the ground hard.

"Too bad, loser. No one catches me, haha!" Rody taunted Cry as Pino came and landed on his shoulder before he took off along the roof.

"Well then i'll be the first!" Cry shouted as he got back u and used his quirk to launch himself up high into the air where he then landed on the edge of the roof. On the far side was Rody who jumped over to the next building with ease. "Wish these buildings weren't filled with people, then I could use my quirk more effectively to catch this guy."

*Chirp! Chirp!* Pino, well, chirped as he pointed back with one of his wings. Rody looked behind him and saw Cry leap and land on the building he was currently running across.

"You don't know when to quit, do ya!?" Rody shouted back as he jumped off the building and grabbed onto a pipe, using it to slide down to the ground safely.

"You have no idea! I don't quit, ever! Which is why, i'm going to catch you!" Cry replied as he straight up jumped off the building and landed directly on the ground, without using his quirk. His body shook for a moment from the shock but he soon regained his footing and continued to chase down his target who was heading below an underpass of a highway.

-Meanwhile....-

Going along the highway, in a stolen car, the same Humarise member who'd fled the scene when they set off their first bomb was currently making his way into the city of Otheon.

"Gotta hurry and find the heroes! There should be some here I can give this information to!" The member said as his car was suddenly struck from behind. He lost control for a moment before resetting himself, but then he turned his head back to see, on top of a car behind him, a woman was aiming a bow and arrow at him. He knew her as one of Humarise's higher-ups, and Flect Turn's personal assassin, Beros.

"Did you really believe you could flee from us? Now you shall be silenced, just as all quirk lovers will be." Beros spoke as a longbow formed from out of her left wrist. She drew an arrow and took aim, releasing it and watching as the arrow glowed for a moment before striking the other members car. The impact resulted in an explosion which sent the car flying into the side of a barrier and breaking partway through. The member inside had taken serious damage from the crash, but managed to grab his briefcase and toss it out his window before Beros could see, in hopes she wouldn't find it.

-With Cry and Rody-

*BOOM* "What the hell was that!?" Rody questioned as he looked up and saw an explosion come from the highway above him. Large pieces of concrete debris began to fall and nearly crush him, but he jumped out of the way before he could be struck. But in the midst of trying not to die, he dropped the briefcase in his hands. "Oh, no, no, no, no, no! Where'd it go!?"

"Oh shit, what happened up there!?" Cry questioned as he stopped and looked up at the highway, deciding whether to go up and help or continue to chase Rody.

"Arsenal, continue your chase! Myself and Persona will see what happened up there!" Refracta suddenly shouted as Cry saw her and Shinso running along a rooftop near the highway. Cry gave them a nod and went after Rody who'd just found his briefcase and began to run again. Rody ran down into a subway station and quickly boarded the train as the doors were closing. It took off just as Cry arrived in the station. Cry could see Rody laughing at him from inside, and Pino even gave him a taunting face too.

"Who the hell..... is this guy.....? Why doesn't.... he just quit....? And besides..... I've never seen him here before..... does he.... even have jurisdiction here....?" Rody questioned, completely out of breath as Pino just shrugged his wings. However, just as they were about to look for somewhere to sit down, Cry suddenly busted through a window and grabbed a hold of the back of Rody's jacket.

"Finally, I got you!" Cry roared with anger as he yanked Rody out the window and then repaired it with his quirk.  Cry then threw Rody back over to the now empty boarding station. "Hand over the briefcase, sir. Don't make me use force."

"Geez, what was that for, huh? You just started chasing me all of a sudden, I thought you were trying to attack me!" Rody told Cry, trying to weasel his way out of this situation.

"I was chasing you because the briefcase in your hands is stolen, and it's my job right now to take it back where it belongs." Cry said as Rody brought the briefcase closer to himself.

"No way! This briefcase is my job right now too, I can't hand it over. Besides, you just attacked me for no reason! I mean, are you certain I stole case this or something? Are you even a hero who has jurisdiction within Otheon? What if I called the police right now, what would you do then? I have every right in this case, you're the one who's acting out of order, right? So how about you just let me go and we'll call it even, alright? I have places to be." Rody said as he went to pass by Cry. He very nearly got away, but Cry quickly reached out and grabbed Rody by his arm to stop him.

"Sure thing. Just show me what's in that briefcase and you're good to go." Cry said as body began to sweat a bit. "What's the matter? You're so quiet now. Is something wrong?"

'Oh crap! He's not gonna let me go until he sees what's in the case! How the hell am I gonna get away from this guy?' Rody thought as Cry then grabbed the briefcase.

"Or, if you just hand me over the briefcase, you can walk away right now. What do ya say?" Cry suggested as Rody pulled back on the case.

"No deal. And I don't have to show you what's inside." He replied as Cry then pulled back.

"Why not? Got something to hide in there that ya don't want me to see?" Cry asked as Rody pulled even harder now. The two kept on tugging on the briefcase until it flew out of both of their hands and hit the ground hard. In fact, the briefcase opened and a bunch of papers flew out.

'Wait what!? That's not what was supposed to be inside that case! Where's the money and jewels!?' Rody thought in disbelief as Cry was just as confused.

"Wait..... it was just a bunch of papers? No stolen money....?" Cry said as the two just stared at one another, no idea what was going on.

-Meanwhile....-

Beros had successfully dispatched the member of Humarise who'd fled their organization, with him now being in a coma. And after that was a success, she claimed what he had stolen, the briefcase containing crucial information. She now stood in an empty alley, the briefcase in her hands. She opened it, only to find a filled with priceless jewels and not what she was looking for.

"No!" Beros shouted in a rage as she whipped the briefcase at a wall, the jewels flying everywhere. She then took out her cell phone and began to make a call, the person on the other end answering.

"Your report, Beros?" Her leader, Flect Turn asked from the other end.

"I managed to track down and silence the traitor. However, the stolen case in his possession is missing. I managed to see who now holds it though, a hoodlum boy, but he's being pursued by a hero." Beros explained as she heard Flect sigh on the other end.

"Failure in retrieving that case is not an option, Beros. Remember the belief, even if it may cost you your life, do all in your power to eliminate the boy and the hero, and bring that case to me. For humanity's salvation." Flect instructed her as he ended the call.

"For humanity's salvation." Beros said as she began her search for Cry and Rody.

With Cry and Rody....(Sorry, my "Dash/Underscore" button died on me)

"I'm so sorry! I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble, sir!" Cry apologized to Rody as he even got down on his hands and knees and bowed his head.

'Geez, talk about making a scene!' Rody thought as people had started to come into the subway station again. "Uh, well, thank you, but I really must be going now. Good luck doing, uh, whatever you gotta do, man."

Rody then turned around and began to head for the exit, but Cry noticed his legs were shaking and that he had a very terrified look on his face. Even Pino, his little bird, looked mortified about something.

"Hey, uh.... is something wrong?" Cry asked as he began to follow Rody out of concern.

'I must've picked up the wrong case earlier when I dropped the one I was supposed to deliver! That's why this one isn't filled with jewels! Should I go back and see if the other case is there? No, i'm sure someone's found it already. And if they see it's filled with jewels then i'm sure it'd be handed over to the police....' Rody thought as his face turned blue from fear that he'd just messed up his whole job for the day and won't get paid. "What am I gonna do, what am I gonna do, what am I gonna do?"

"Uh, excuse me?" He heard Cry ask as he suddenly felt his shoulder be grabbed. Rody stopped and turned his head to see it was in fact Cry who grabbed him. "Are you sure you're okay? You look like you're gonna be sick?"

"Just peachy, man." Rody said as the two walked out of the station and into a square. "No need to worry about me. I'm doing just fine."

"Freeze! Put your hands in the air, don't move!" A battalion of police officers shouted as police cars and vans rolled up in front of Cry and Rody, the officers taking aim at them.

"What!? The police!? What're they doing here!?" Rody questioned as he fell down onto his butt out of fear that he'd been caught.

"Wait, stop! This kid is innocent, let him go!" Cry said, stepping in front of Rody to protect him. "The case in his hands in not the one stolen from the jewel store! He's not a suspect!"

"Open fire!" A copp ordered as he and his men began to shoot at Cry and Rody.

"What the hell!?" Cry questioned as he grabbed Rody and made a run for it, using his quirk to make a steel wall appear between them and the cops.

"Why're they shooting at us!?" Rody asked as Cry made a portal in front of them.

"Don't know, and I have a feeling they're not gonna tell us. Just run into that portal, you'll be safer on the other side!" Cry shouted as Rody ran ahead and into the portal. Cry followed but felt an immense stinging sensation in his left leg before running in and closing it behind him. The two emerged on a rooftop nearby where they figured they'd be safe for now.

"I thought I.... was gonna die...." Rody said, his face full of fear as Pino looked just as scared as well.

"Hey, kid, are you alright?" Cry asked but it was cut short when the sound of a helicopter broke the silence. It flew over them and stopped as a gunman appeared out one of its doors. "Are you kidding me!? What the hell is going on, he didn't do anything!"

Cry quickly glanced around for somewhere far away he could transport himself and Rody to, and found his answer before making a portal appear underneath them both. They both fell out the other side as the portals closed and emerged on the top of a moving train that was going along a bridge.

"They shouldn't be able to follow us here. We'll be safe for now and then get off when this train comes to a stop." Cry explained as Rody sat down, breathing heavily from this terrifying experience.

"Why me....?" Rody complained as Cry suddenly saw a flash of light come from a far away hill across the water. It was well over a kilometer away, but he could see something flashing. Then, without warning, a glowing arrow flew into view and struck Cry's right obsidian arm, destroying it in one shot. The two knew they were under attack yet again, but this time by a new enemy.

"Great, now we've got a villain after us! Hang on, i'll get us out of here!" Cry shouted as he went to make a portal again. But this time, his quirk seemed to flicker and he was struggling to make anything. "What!?"

Another arrow then flew over and managed to slice along Cry's left arm, cutting deep into the skin. He screamed as Rody tackled him to the ground to avoid another arrow which would've been Cry's head it hit.

"You alright!?" Rody asked as he and Cry stood up, with Cry pushing Rody out of the way to avoid another arrow. "AHHHH!!! We need to get out of here, man!"

Just then, Rody saw an arrow coming right for his face. He quickly raised up the briefcase to block and the arrow hit it. But it partially went through the other side, with the tip of the arrow less than an inch from piercing Rody. The shock of being millimeters from death was enough to make Rody faint.

"Damn it, looks like I've got no choice! I'll try not to drown you, kid!" Cry shouted as he quickly picked up Rody and stuffed Pino in one of his pockets which he zipped up. He then jumped off the train and off the bridge and into the water below.

"Damn it!" Beros complained as, from her perch on top of the hill across from the bridge, she deactivated her quirk and hopped onto her motorcycle she'd stolen, taking off to try and track down Cry and Rody.

10 Minutes Later, with Shinso and Refracta...

"You idiots!? Incidents like that are capable of being dealt with by local authorities! We're not from this country, remember? For all we know, you could've committed crimes of your own! Now then, where's Arsenal?" Endeavor shouted at Refracta and Shinso who'd returned to the hotel all the heroes were staying at.

"He went after the supposed third suspect in the robbery while myself and Persona here assisted with the explosion that occurred on the highway. He must still be out there, sir, but i'm sure he'll return soon. As for the explosion, judging by the marks left on the car, it appears it was attacked by someone. But that's not what's most curious about all this, sir. The person in the car who was attacked was a member of Humarise." Refracta explained as it peaked Endeavor's interest.

"What? A Humarise member? What exactly was he doing on the run?" Endeavor asked.

"Not sure yet, the guy's in a coma in the ICU. Given that he was on the run and attacked, it's not likely a hero was the one who did this to him. My guess, someone from Humarise did this. The man was fleeing, probably knowing heroes were here, and he was stopped. But the question is why was he coming here?" Shinso put out as he suddenly started getting a call on his cell phone. He answered it and put it on speaker phone because it was Cry. "Cry, where are you right now?"

"Shinso, something's going on! First off, the guy I was chasing with the briefcase was innocent, but then the cops surrounded us and began opening fire on him for some reason so we fled. But then this villain started shooting arrows at us so now, but we managed to flee for now." Cry began to explain as Shinso stopped him for a moment.

"Hold on, slow down! Take it from the start, maybe then we can figure out what's happened. You said the guy with you had a briefcase, right? I wonder.....?" Shinso began to think as Endeavor clicked in to what Shinso was getting at.

"You think, because Arsenal was attacked by the police and a villain that the case could possibly belong to that fleeing Humarise member?" He stated as Shinso nodded.

"It would make sense. If that member was going to hand that case over to us, then that's more than a reason for Humarise to try and kill that man." Refracta added in as Clair Voyance suddenly entered the room.

"Endeavor, we've got an emergency! It's about Arsenal! Turn on your TV, quickly!" She said as Endeavor did so, putting on the news which showed an image of Cry and info being read out by a newscaster.

"Earlier today, a Japanese hero known as "Arsenal" killed 12 innocent victims. Should you see this boy, contact the Otheon authorities immediately. It's been said he acted with an accomplice, but no photo recognition has been supported yet of this information." The newscaster said as the whole room went silent at what they'd just heard.

"Cry.... what did you really do out there?" Shinso asked through the phone.

"What're you talking about? I basically told you everything already." Cry replied.

"It's the news, it says you're on the most wanted list for mass murder!" Shinso told him as Cry went dead silent from what he'd just heard. He couldn't believe it, he was now wanted for who knows what!? "Cry, listen to me, stop this call, and take out the battery in your phone. The police won't be able to track you that way."

"Alright, got it. Shinso, was there any information about this kid i'm with now, the one I was chasing?" Cry asked as he heard Shinso give a sigh.

"Yes and no. The news said you worked with an accomplice, so I can only assume it's that kid you're with." Shinso replied as Cry ended the call. "Hello? Cry!?"

"Is he alright?" Endeavor asked but Shinso shook his head.

"Not sure. But this is strange, he's not the kind of person to do something like this. He had to have been framed, I'm sure of it!" Shinso declared as, across the world in other countries, everyone was receiving this shocking news.

Jiro, who had been restationed to the Tokyo operation alongside Tetsutetsu, was just getting the news now. "Oh my god.... Cry.... no, this isn't right. He couldn't have done this, he wouldn't!"

In Egypt, Shiozaki who was stationed with Edgeshot, Mt. Lady, and Kamui Woods, saw the news and were just as confused. "For Cry to have sinned, it just doesn't make sense."

In Singapore, Tokage, who was stationed alongside Yaoyorozu, were nearly speechless upon seeing the news. "Cry killed 12 people!? No, that's false information, it just has to be! That guy wouldn't dare take even a single life!"

In Russia, Monoma, who was stationed with the hero, Ectoplasm, were silent from hearing the horrifying newscast. "No way.... it's just not possible..... I know, Cry.... he wouldn't do something like this..... right?"

In England, Kendo, who was working alongside Bubble Girl and Centipeder, were just stunned to see what had happened. "Cry.... I know this information can't be right, but.... what mess have you gotten yourself into this time?"

The whole world knew of his name now and what he'd done, even if it wasn't true. And now, Cry knew that before, when the cops opened fire, it wasn't against Rody, but against him.

"What am I supposed to do now.... I can't go back to Endeavor, the police will have the place surrounded in case I returned. I can't go to U.A or places like that either, the police will have contacted other authorities from places I've been to so I couldn't run anywhere." Cry said to himself, trying to think of a way out of this conundrum as he was suddenly tapped on the shoulder which brought him back to reality.

"Hey, Sorry, but are you okay? You look nervous about something?" Rody asked as he'd woken up by now.

"Uh.... Look, I've got something to tell you so..... i'm sorry, but you're really about to hate me." Cry told him as he went on to explain everything to Rody.

"WHAT!? You're wanted for murder and they think i'm your accomplice!? Oh man, I've already hit rock bottom before, but this makes it even worse.... I wonder if you can even go any lower.... Ugh..... And it's all your fault! You're supposed to be a hero, right!? You solve problems, not cause them! So fix this!" Rody demanded as Cry put his left and only hand over his mouth to shut him up for a moment.

"I'm trying to figure things out, alright!? Something like this, it can't be solved right away! But thanks to my friends, I at least have an idea of what might be going on!" Cry said as Rody moved his hand away.

"And what might that be!?" He replied as Cry pointed at the briefcase.

"That thing. It's become clear that something is important about it. That villain, and the police, they didn't start attacking us until after we gained possession of it, right? So obviously, there's something important about it that we don't know yet." Cry explained as Rody picked up the case.

"Then this is a simple fix, we just hand this case over to the villains or the cops and they'll let us go." Rody suggested but Cry shook his head.

"Not likely. They were trying to kill us back there, without even questioning us. Even if we handed the case over, they'd more than likely kill us anyways." Cry said as Rody thought of a new idea.

"Then let's destroy this case instead! If it's not in the hands of the villains, then they can't get what they want, right!?" He stated but Cry shook his head once again.

"That's still a bad idea. What if that's what the villains want, to destroy the case? We'd be doing exactly what they came to do." Cry said as Rody came right up to him.

"Alright, smart guy, you figure out what to do then!" Rody said as Cry began to think of a plan.

"We need to figure out what's so important about this briefcase, and why the villains want it so badly. I can't take us to the heroes either, the police will be waiting for us there....." Cry said.

"So then what do we do?" Rody asked.

"We run." Cry replied as Rody just looked confused.

"Run? Run where!? The police are gonna have the whole country on lockdown looking for us!" Rody said as Cry nodded in agreement.

"That's true, but not if we cross the border into the neighboring country of Klayd. It may not get that villain off our backs, but the police don't have jurisdiction there, they wouldn't be able to follow us. It'll at least buy us some time so we can find out the meaning of this briefcase." Cry suggested as he tried using his quirk to change his clothes and to give himself a new right arm, one that'd look like a prosthetic. But it didn't work again, his body was in so much pain from being hit by one of those arrows. And, as he and Rody found out, he had also been shot in the leg by one of the cops earlier.

"So you're saying the two of us now have to travel across the country, over into Klayd, with the cops and villains on our backs, and you can't use your quirk anymore to defend us?" Rody asked as Cry unfortunately gave him a nod. "Well, I guess I've had to deal with worse conditions. Alright.... since we're stuck in this together, where do we start?"
