Ah man, and things were going so well too for them. Well, at least that's what the vigilantes thought. But with LOVTech having eyes literally everywhere, there was nothing that Twilight o and Pein could've done to avoid any of that. But lucky for Pein, he somehow survived being struck by Markus, falling 100+ stories, and then landed in a pond. That guy is build Tonka Tough, if you know what I mean. And on the other side of things, it's not going well for Twilight either. Having been captured, her fate is now unknown. We know she's alive at the moment, but with being Toga's new "toy," there's no telling how long that will last. Now then, let's get back into the action of this epic arc! Enjoy!

-POV: Third Person-

Having made it to P.H Academy the very next morning, Pein handed Endeavor the flashdrive containing all the information he and Twilight had stolen from LOVTech. He then informed Endeavor and Wrath Queen about what happened before he was taken away to the infirmary to be healed. "So the League was still out there after all. And now we know even more of what they're up to. I had hoped what Jiro and her team told us about the Nomu inside the service bots wasn't real, but with this new information, about Shigaraki being revived soon.... It's all so much to take in." Queen said as she stood with Endeavor in his office. 

"And what's worse is Shigaraki is not the only League member running things. My oldest son is there as well. As well as the recently escaped Markus and his Injustice Squad, and Victor Stroman. And I have no doubt that they have much more forces with them." Endeavor replied. 

"When I got the info from them, I told Jiro and her team to give up on finding my son and return here. They should arrive in an hour or two. And with this new information, I've already reached out to nearby cities for assistance. Hawks is still in New York too and he's informed the police to start evacuating the city. Hell, he's even got the national guard helping too." Queen informed her boss. 

"Good, we wouldn't want anyone to get hurt with what's to come. Queen, this is an "all hands on deck" situation. We may need every hero around to join in on this fight. We can't rely on those over in our home country, they're too far away to make it in time. The League truly does have us in a bind when it comes to backup." Endeavor said as Queen agreed with him. 

"Sir.... as much as I do not want to do it.... we may have to risk the students, just like we did the year before. They can all fight.... they can help." She suggested but both were hesitant on the idea. 

"Unfortunately.... I have to agree with you. Call for an assembly. We must inform them of what is about to happen." Endeavor ordered as Queen went to work at gathering all the students into the gymnasium. And once everyone, staff and students were there, Endeavor began his speech. 

"I'm sure all of you are wondering why I called this emergency assembly. And frankly, i'm sure some of you may not want to believe what I am about to tell you all. But the fact of the matter is, a great evil is about to rise from its ashes." Endeavor spoke as some of the students began to question what he was saying. 

"To those of you who are unaware, which i'm sure is majority of you, last year there was a great war that occurred over in Japan. It nearly tore our country apart, and it was all thanks to a group who called themselves, "The League of Villains."" Queen spoke to them all as, by some of their reactions, a handful of students did know what they were referring to. 

"The student and temporary teacher you all know as Tenshonoma Cryshiki was the one to defeat this group of villains, having defeated their leader. However, said group then escaped and seemingly disappeared everywhere across the map. Well I am here to say now, thanks to some information given to us by a handful of students and outside sources, we now know that the League of Villains is here in the United States, and now more powerful than ever before." Endeavor explained as a lot more commotion rose over the crowd of students. 

"We understand you all have plenty of questions now. However, with the info we've acquired, we should be able to answer everything you're wondering. Yes, the Leaguer has returned. In fact, they are the ones running the multi-billion dollar company, LOVTech, with their spokesperson, Victor Stroman, being a member. Furthermore, having recently escaped maximum security, the Injustice Squad, the same group of villains who attacked our city last month, has also teamed up with the League." Wrath Queen told everyone as Tika glanced around, first at the teachers and then at the students to see if anyone was eyeing her, in case if there was an off chance she was found out. But no one pointed her out, so she was safe.

"In the year the League vanished, they managed to progress their forces drastically. Those service bots that LOVTech has been selling, they are all mounted with hidden cameras to spy on everyone. And even worse, they each contain a creature known as a "Nomu." These creatures are mindless, but they were created for the sole purpose of battling. And to kill just one takes a great number of effort. LOVTech has over a billion service bots deployed over the entire world. If we can't shut them all down, then we'll be able to do nothing to stop them from attacking innocent people." Endeavor explained as Queen took over again. 

"Pro hero, Hawks, is currently over in New York where LOVTech HQ is. He's informed the police and national guard of the situation and they're all currently evacuating the city. And i'm sure hearing that, most of you can figure out what we're going to say next." She said as the students all agreed with her words. 

"In order to stop this League of Villains, we must do battle with them. We have already made contact with several other cities and their heroes to join us. We're expecting well over 20 cities on the eastern seaboard to join our cause. However, even with all those forces, it may not be enough. Which is why....." Endeavor said as he took a quick glance at Wrath Queen. She looked as nervous as he did but she still gave him a nod. "...We are asking all of you, our students, to join our fight as well." 

The students all grew a bit more worried than before, some even on the point of outrage, thinking the teachers were crazy to bring in such young students into a war. 

"I understand that most of you are hesitant of this idea, but it must be done if we are to be victorious. You have all been trained and have pushed past your limits time and time again. I know that all of you will certainly aid us. However, we cannot guarantee your safety. Coming into this does indeed mean there is a chance of death. Should you choose to decline, no one will blame you. But remember, this is what heroes stand for. We won't just be fighting villains, we will be protecting the people, this country, the whole world! All of us, whether teacher or students, will be heroes!" Endeavor spoke as, to his and the rest of the staffs surprise, the students cheered with him, every single one of them. 

"Yeah, let's take it to them! We're gonna kick some villain ass! We won't lose to anyone!" Some of the students roared with pride as Endeavor and Queen went on to explain all the information that had acquired to everyone present. However, deep in the crowd of students, Josh was more concerned with something else. He was currently looking around for Phobos, Harper, and Kira, who were nowhere to be seen. 

-20 Minutes Earlier-

After just finishing another joint training class, the students of classes 1 and 2, plus every other class in the school, was called to the gymnasium for an emergency assembly. Classes 1 and 2 didn't even have time to change out of their hero costumes. Kira, Phobos, and Harper all walked together down the halls of the school, wondering what the emergency was, but as they passed by the infirmary, Kira peered through the door window and saw Pein sitting on a bed inside. 

"Wait, hold on guys!" She said to them as she entered the infirmary, with Harper and Phobos coming in as well to see what was going on. Kira practically swarmed Pein, asking him a bunch of questions like what was going on and why he was here.

"Kira.... kids.... it's nothing good, that's what i'll say. Me and Twilight.... we went to retrieve some information from LOVTech's HQ last night. But they knew we were in there the whole time, they had us trapped like rats in their building. We got the info, but we were outmatched. We had no ways out. I took a hit for my wife, and because of that, I was able to escape. But now..... they have her. She's a prisoner now, and I can't do anything on my own to save her. So I rushed here.... and gave your staff the info. That's what your assembly will be on. They're going to ask you to fight with them.... against this rising threat." Pein explained to the three. 

"So that's why this is such an emergency. Anything else you can tell us?" Harper asked him. 

"Endeavor and Queen have already started mobilizing other heroes from different cities for this fight. And Hawks is already in New York and is evacuating the citizens. But with how long everything will take for us, by the time we arrive at LOVTech's HQ, Becca could be dead and Shigaraki will have fully revived." Pein told them as Phobos turned and started to head out. But Harper stopped him by grabbing his arm. 

"Where do you think you're going?" She asked him as he turned to look at her. 

"What does it look like, i'm going to save his wife. Then these villains won't have leverage on us." Phobos said but Harper was not on board with this reckless decision. 

"Actually, I was having the same idea as well." Kira chimed in as Harper looked to her next. 

"Are you two insane? If you go there without backup, you will be killed, or worse, you'll end up captured as well. You can't go." Harper begged them, also hoping Pein would join in with her to stop them from going. 

"It's like I said, the heroes here are gonna take too long. But.... if you guys were to go right now with my motorcycle, you'd get to New York in half the time any normal vehicle would. You could make it in less than an hour, and there's a few ways you can get inside without being detected. But that's just vents i'm talking about. Once you're actually in the building, they will know you're there, and they're going to swarm you." Pein told them, not helping Harper at all. However, hearing him explain all this was making even her hopes about this feel better, seeing how fast they could get there and safely getting inside.

"I'd like to see them try. Don't forget, i'm one of the guys who took down Markus. If he's the toughest they've got, then it shouldn't be as bad as we're all thinking." Phobos said as he ignited his right hand tp prove his point. 

"But that was with Josh and me when I was a giant. How can we be sure we can beat him this time if we cross paths?" Harper questioned him as he extinguished his hand. 

"Well, if you come with us and sleep on the way, you can essentially roll for a better ability than what you've got now." Kira said to her as Harper just let out a sigh. These two wanted her to come, and she was sure neither wanted her to tell the staff about what they were doing. 

"I swear.... if this goes south for us, I put the blame on you." Harper said to Phobos as he just laughed a bit. 

"You already do that anyways. So, are you in?" Phobos asked her as he held his hand out. 

"Well, I'm already in my hero outfit, so I guess I might as well play the part too. God, I hate you for this." Harper said in a bit of a joking manner as she took his hand. "So how exactly do we sneak out of here without getting noticed by the staff? They're not just gonna let us go if we say we're going in advance to bust out this guys wife."

"My bike is parked just outside. If you go through the window, it should just be right there. But I don't have the keys for it. You'll have to hotwire it." Pein explained to them as they all nodded to him. They all went over and opened up the window and hopped out of it in the parking lot. They found Pein's motorcycle, but then another predicament arose. 

"So, uh.... anyone know how to ride one of these things?" Kira asked the other two. 

"Don't look at me. I haven't even started driving lessons yet." Harper told her. 

"I can. Well, sort of. I'm through all my classes, but i'm only halfway through practical training." Phobos said as he hopped onto the bike. He began fiddling with its wires and eventually got it started up. 

"Since when do you know how to ride a motorbike? And why did you never tell me?" Harper asked him. 

"Since last month. And I wanted to make it a surprise when I rolled up on one during a date night. Guess you got an early surprise. Now hop on." Phobos said as Harper got on next, with Kira getting on last. The three had to squeeze in tight to all fit onto the bike, and Kira would have to hold on tight to Harper so she wouldn't fall off. But the three were soon off, quickly leaving P.H's grounds and making their way onto the highway north.

-1 Hour Later-

Upon arriving in New York, the three students made their way through the busy streets until they arrived in central park. That parked their motorcycle north east end, where LOVTech's building was clearly visible.

"Anyone else having second thoughts about this?" Harper asked but neither Phobos or Kira gave an answer. "Right..... didn't think so."

With Pein's information, the three essentially went the exact same route that Twilight and Pein did the night before. They hopped a wall and hid behind a truck while they waited for a camera to look the other direction. Then, when they were free, they advanced to the edge of the building until they came to the same ventilation shaft, which by now had been put back into place. 

"Give me a sec, girls. Just gotta melt through this." Phobos said as he ignited his left hand in his black flames and placed it on the metal grate. Within seconds, he nearly melted away the whole grating, allowing them all to step inside. 

"First duct we find, we'll drop down." Kira said as the other two agreed. And after a few minutes, they came to that duct. Phobos melted through it again, and the three dropped into a hallway, nobody around them at the moment. However, unknown to the three is that were already spotted. With hidden cameras everywhere, it was impossible to hide. And with Victor Stroman basically living in the monitor room these days, he quickly notified Touya of the situation. 

"Want me to handle these children, sir?" Stroman asked as he waited for a response from Touya over his cell phone. 

"No, you earned a break for last night. I'll handle them this time." Touya responded as Stroman hung up and watched the show. Touya up in his office then hit a button which activated the P.A system for the whole building. 

"Attention. To the three children heroes who just entered LOVTech, let's just cut to the chase. You're here for Mrs. Rebecca Nevermore, Twilight, right? Well, if you want her, then come to me. I'll be waiting on the top floor. Do not keep me waiting." He spoke to them as the three students realized they might already be fucked. 

"Well, that didn't last long. What now, do we take his word? Or should we go deeper into the building?" Kira questioned as Phobos walked over to an elevator. 

"His word, despite being a villain, is the best thing we've got right now. We take this chance. Besides, this guy will know where Twilight is, even if she isn't with him. If push comes to shove, we'll just beat the information out of him." Phobos said as he melted through the elevator door. "Alright, i'm gonna fly us up to the top. Both of you, grab onto my shoulders and hold on tight, okay?"

The girls obliged and grabbed onto Phobos. He then took a step into the elevator shaft as he ignited his hands and feet, using the flames to propel himself upward. They could see the elevator was below them so they didn't have to worry about crashing into it. They flew quickly up the shaft, passing dozens of floors until finally reaching the top, floor 120. Phobos melted away that door as well so they could safely land on the floor. 

"Well, this is it. Just gotta find this guy now." Harper said as the P.A system came back on. 

"I'm on the opposite side of the floor, the CEO's office. I'm write here with what you're looking for." Touya said to them all as he cut out. 

"Well, at least we can say he's being nice to us for the time being. Come on, let's go." Kira said as the three rushed down the hallway, heading into an empty conference room where another set of doors was at its end. 

"This must be the place. Get ready...." Phobos said as he activated his quirk and ignited his arms. Kira readied herself to go intangible, just in case something was fired at them upon entry. And Harper used her quirk to make a long bo staff appear in her hands, as she twirled it with relative ease and grace. Phobos then blasted down the door and the three entered the room. 

"Ah, so nice of you three to make it, at last." Touya said as he sat in his chair, Twilight sitting on the ground next to his desk on her knees, her hands cuffed in front of her. 

"You're the guy in charge here? Let Twilight go, now!" Kira demanded as Touya snickered at her plead. 

"Look, girl, I don't think you understand how a hostage situation works. Typically, for you to get what you want, you either have to get it back by force, or by simply making an equal trade." Touya told them all. 

"Kids, get the hell out of here! Don't bother with me, just run while you can, or they'll kill you!" Twilight shouted to them. 

"Not a chance! We came here to bust you out, and we're not leaving until we do." Harper said as Touya got up from his desk, holding his cell phone in his hands. 

"Do you kids know how many hero agencies are in New York? And with that, do you know how many heroes their are in the city overall?" Touya asked them but none could give an answer. 

"167 agencies, housing 1082 heroes. Which means this city has the most heroes out of any other in the world, even Tokyo. And now...." He told them as he tapped his phone. In that moment, explosions began to go off around the entire city, some larger than others as Touya started laughing like a maniac. "NOW, IT'S HOME TO NONE!!!" 

"He just..... they're all gone....?" Kira said in horror as Phobos stepped forward and raised up his arms to attack. 

"Ah, ah, ah..... You wouldn't risk potentially harming an innocent person, now, would you, Phobos?" Touya said to him as Phobos looked surprised that he knew his name. 

"Just who the hell are you? And how the hell do you know my name?" Phobos replied. 

"I know all three of you. Each of you are first years at P.H Academy; Phobos Martellin and Harper Leesons, both in class 1, and Kira Summers in class 2. But.... there is one of you who does interest me much more than the others. And that is you, Phobos." Touya said to them.

"And why me?" Phobos responded as Touya chuckled a bit. 

"You see, back in my home country of Japan, I used to go by my villain name, Dabi. But nowadays, i'm called by my actual name again. You can call me, Touya. Touya Todoroki. My father is the number one hero on the planet, Endeavor. And my little brother, you know him well too, considering you beat him in the International Sports Festival. His name is Shoto. But despite being my own flesh and blood, you still interest me more than them, boy." Touya began explaining as he stepped over to Twilight and lifted her up to her feet. 

"And why is that? What, are you like my secret fan club or something?" Phobos asked him as Touya laughed some more and shook his head. 

"Not quite. It's mainly more because of what you did in the final match that day. You see, you were able to do something that no other villain in my group could so. And let me tell you, we had plenty of heavy hitters, some even strong enough to destroy mountains and level cities." Touya said. 

"And what's that?" Phobos asked as he kept his flaming arms up, just in case Touya would lash out. 

"I don't know how you did it. But somehow, in some way, you were able to defeat Tenshonoma Cryshiki. Not too many people know this, but that kid was strong enough to practically defeat all of the League of Villains by himself. In fact, i'm the one who gave him that handprint scar on the right side of his face." Touya explained as Kira remembered Cry telling her a while ago that someone named Dabi gave him that scar. 

"Gee, thanks for the compliment. Now can we cut the chit-chat so you can give us, Twilight? Then we won't have to kick your ass." Phobos said to him as Touya just sighed.

"You beating Cry isn't the only reason you interest me though. It's also from what All Might called you after your victory. "The Next Endeavor." You have no idea how pissed off that makes me. I loath my father and everything he stands for, he turned me into what I am today. And hearing you're the next him.... it makes me sick to my bones. And to deal with things like that, I generally like to kill whatever the problem is. So I will cut you kids a deal." Touya explained as the students all looked to each other with concern. 

"And what exactly is the deal?" Harper asked him. 

"I will give you Twilight back, but in return, Phobos stays here and does battle with me. And you'd better make your decision quick because i'm not a very patient guy." Touya said as he ignited his right hand in blue flames and held it near Twilight's face.

"Phobos you can't. Even if you beat this guy, you'll be swarmed afterwards, you'll be the prisoner then." Harper said to him but Phobos didn't step back. 

"What choice do we have? We came here to free Twilight, right? Well this is how we do it. I won't lose to this guy if it's a firefight anyways. Not when I can burn away his flames." Phobos said in a bit of a nervous manner as he stepped forward a bit. 

"Fine. I accept. Now let her go." Phobos said to Touya as he pushed Twilight over to Harper and Kira. 

"Thank you for this, I've been looking forward to it. And I promise, I won't stop your friends from leaving. Besides, it's not like you'll be leaving anyway." Touya said as he now ignited his other hand. 

"Harper, Kira, get Twilight out of here, now! I'll be right behind you, I promise!" Phobos said as Kira gave him a nod before taking Twilight out of the room, with Harper following shortly after. 

The girls would head to the nearest staircase and make their way down to the lower floors, whilst also trying to stay away from any guards or staff. 

"They took my gear when I was captured. If you see it on the way, let me know. Might help me get out of these cuffs." Twilight said as the three ran down a long hallway. They came to the next door to a stairwell, but when Kira tried to open it, she found it was locked. 

"Damn it, I can't open it!" She said as footsteps could be heard coming from the other end of the hall. Harper turned around and readied her staff for anyone who would appear, but in the moment she turned, a quick scream was let out by Kira. Harper quickly turned back and saw Twilight now free of her cuffs and holding a knife to Kira's neck, while also having a firm grip on her hair.

"What the hell do you think you're doing!?" Harper asked as Twilight then spit up a tiny blue marble which flew for Harper. And emerging from the marble was none other than Mr. Compress. Harper was caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the villain and she could do nothing as Mr. Compress placed his right hand on her and compressed her into a marble. He then picked her up and held her in between his fingers. 

"Worked like a charm, wouldn't you say?" Compressed said to Twilight as her skin began to melt away. 

"Oh yeah, Compress. Touya really knows how to make great plans. And now I've got two more toys to play with!" Toga said as she appeared underneath the melted skin of Twilight. 

"Who the hell are you people!? Where's the real Twilight!?" Kira asked as Toga licked her right ear and then cheek. 

"Don't worry, girly, she's still alive. I'll show you to her. She'll be so happy to have company now!" Toga said in a giddy voice as Kira and Harper were taken away, having suffered the same fate as Twilight. And now, only Phobos could save them. But too do that, first he must do battle with Touya. An epic fire fight is about to ignite.
