Ladies and gentlemen, the war has begun! Please, do not hate me! Yes, I had Phobos lose his quirk, and I killed Hawks. I'M SORRY! NO, DON'T SHOOT ME, PLEASE!! But in all seriousness, yes, I did those as the spark for all this to start. And now we've kicked things up to 110% already. Almost all the second years and Refracta are dead as well, and Trini was oh so close to joining them, but best boyfriend ever, Josh, steps in to take on the ENTIRE INJUSTICE SQUAD by himself. Let's see how that will go right now, shall we!? Everyone, enjoy!

-POV: Third Person- -10 Minutes Earlier-

As Queen's group of first years and the strike team arrived in the South side of New York, they quickly mobilized by closing in on Central Park. The strike team consisting of the Big and Sub 3 traveled down into the sewers to have a clear shot at LOVTech, where they would hope to gain entry into the underground lab beneath the building. As for everyone else, Central Park was coming into view, and at its end was LOVTech HQ. 

"Tika..." Queen said as Tika walked through the crowd of students until she was next to her and Ryan. "I want you and Ryan to scan the area. You can do it undetected since you can travel through electricity. Let us know if there's any enemies waiting for us. It's too quiet out here."

"Yes ma'am. Come on, let's go." Tika said to Ryan as they walked over to a light pole. Ryan held onto her shoulder as they both zapped into the light pole and then maneuvered through the circuitry beneath the streets. 

"Wrath Queen, we've got a problem!" Stacy shouted as Queen turned back, expecting enemies coming from behind but seeing none. "Josh is missing now too! He was right behind me, and then he was just gone!"

"What!? And you didn't hear him!? Fuck! If no one knows where he went, then we can't go out to find him! God, it's like my students are forgetting everything I taught them!" Queen said in frustration as Tika and Ryan returned to the group from the same light pole. "What's the scoop? And please, tell me there's good news?"

"Not exactly. About 300 metres down the road, there's an intersection. To the left and right, there's enemies waiting. Counted about 20 of those High-End Nomu things. A couple normal enemies too. Guessing they're commanding the Nomu's." Ryan explained as Queen gave them nods that she understood. 

"Well, it's certainly doable. It won't be easy to get past this roadblock though. But you two can. Tika, take yourself and Ryan back into the circuitry, see if you can find the route into LOVTech. Infiltrate, locate, and evacuate those who were captured." She ordered them as they responded with nods as well. Tika then zapped them both back into the light pole as they traversed their way to find a way inside LOVTech. "Alright everyone, you heard those two! The enemy is just up ahead and is waiting for us! Stow you fears and wield all the courage you can muster! Fight in groups, overwhelm the enemy! We can do this!"

"YEAH!!!" All the first year students cheered as Queen's group closed in on their upcoming battle. 

-Meanwhile, inside LOVTech HQ-

"Isn't this fun!? You get to watch all the chaos with front row seats! You get to watch all your friends die!!" Daina cheered as she sat outside the glass cell containing Twilight, Kira, Harper, and the now quirkless, Phobos. From within the glass of the cell, holographic screens had popped up to show live feeds of all three fronts, showing Endeavor and Queen's forces beginning their battles, and then Refracta's forces being wiped out in an instant. 

"YOU MONSTERS!!! WE'LL FUCKING KILL YOU ONCE WE GET OUT OF HERE!!" Harper screamed at Daina who just laughed at her remarks. 

"Kill me? Now that's not what a hero does, is it? No, you can't kill, and that's why you heroes fail time and time again. And it's why we will always win. Like so..." Daina said as she zoomed in on the screen showing the Injustice Squad, now toying with Trini who was the only person alive from her group. "One little mouse survived, eh? Looks like you get to watch us toy around with them then. Wonder how they're going to kill her? What do you think?"

"I think you need to shut the fuck up already. Let me outta here, i'll still kick your ass, just like before." Phobos threatened as Daina held up a remote in her right hand. She clicked one of the buttons and the metal pillory around Phobos' neck and wrists began to shock him, making him scream out in pain until Daina stopped a few seconds later. 

"HA! You think you could take me now? A quirkless loser like you? I'd kill you in a second. And don't forget what you did to me, Phobos..." Daina said, pointing to her half melted face. "When this is all said and done, I will be the one to end your miserable, pathetic life. And I'm looking forward to every second of it."

"You're forgetting something, bitch." Twilight said to her as she turned her attention to the only other adult in the room. 

"And what's that, ya quirkless slut? Do enlighten me. And pick your words carefully, or i'll shock you too." Daina replied, holding her remote up again. 

"You forgot one more aspect about being a villain. It doesn't matter if heroes refuse to kill you, cause in the end, you always lose. All this will be no different." Twilight said as Daina just rolled her eyes and pressed another button on the remote, shocking all 4 of them and listening to their agonizing wails. 

"All of you deserved punishment after that dumbass remark. And this won't end like every other time, you hear me? The villains win this time, and there's nothing you idiots can do to stop it. And once my little sis gets here, oh boy, we're putting on a show for all you to enjoy. Now then, let's get back to the Squad and see how-" Daina tried to say as the sound of a car crashing came from the screen they were viewing. Daina turned and saw a pickup truck had rammed Gregory right into the side of a building and killed him. And stepping out of that truck was Josh. "Markus' boy? Well, plan might be finished sooner than planned. You all might have a 5th soon, so long as Markus' son cooperates."

"Josh won't be beaten. He's the strongest student in all P.H. It doesn't matter if Markus is his father, he won't pull his punches." Kira said as Daina just continued to laugh. 

"I'm sure he won't. But just look at his situation. He's heavily outnumbered, and the only help he has is a crippled girl who's struggling to use her quirk. I don't see how my team can lose here. Now, shut up or i'll shock you all again. I want to enjoy this." Daina replied as she and the captives watched what was about to commence. 

-POV: Still Third Person-

"Son.... i'm going to give you just one chance. To avoid any unnecessary conflict, just give yourself up." Markus said to his son but Josh just shook his head in return. 

"No, dad, i'm the one who's giving all of you one chance. Give me my girlfriend and leave. If not, then i'll have no choice but to use deadly force." Josh replied as he swung his sledgehammer over his right shoulder.

"A little late for that, don't ya think? I mean, you already started by killing Gregory. Honestly, you should be glad that Markus here is ordering us to take you in alive." Jade said to him. 

"I'm thankful, but you're not taking me in. And you're the ones who started this, killing all of these second years and Ms. Refracta. As far as i'm concerned, I have every right to kill each and every one of you. But that's something i'm not here to do. Your friend, Gregory, was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now then...." Josh said as he began to approach the group of villains surrounding Trini. "Back the fuck off, or I will knock your fucking lights out."

"No chance. And we were only ordered to take you in alive. As for your little girlfriend here.... well.... she's quite expendable." Jake said, turning his left hand into a pistol as he took aim at Trini's head. But before he could fire, he was struck by Josh's sledgehammer which he had thrown like an axe at Jake. Jake was sent flying back through the window of a nearby store and the rest of the squad looked on, a bit in shock and awe at what they just witnessed. 

"Never the easy way with you, is it?" Markus said, turning back to his son who was getting closer. "But then again, my choices always end in the hard way as well. Alright, I see how things are going to be. Everyone, forget about the girl. Focus on my boy. Take him down." Markus ordered as Jade went in first, opening up her mouth to unleash a huge and fast moving cloud of her paralyzing gas. 

"I know how that works now, don't think i'm gonna be stopped by that!" Josh shouted as, without hesitation or fear, ran straight into the cloud and seemingly disappeared. 

"Sounds like he was all bark and no bite. So much for all that hero talk." Jade said as Josh came leaping out of the green smoke, now wearing a gas mask as Jade was taken aback. "WHAT!?"

"I came prepared, bitch!" Josh yelled as he drove his right fist right into her face. He knocked her back but Josh was not done yet. He reached out and grabbed her two curved horns, pulling them and her head down as he brought his knee up and smashed it against her face. He then dropped Jade down, her laying unconscious on the ground, as he continued on to the rest of the Squad. "That's three down, dad. Who's next?"

"You can't fight what you can't see, kid!" Killer shouted as he and Poppy ran in next, with Killer pulling out his revolver and taking aim. He activated his quirk as well, dulling Josh's vision and nulling most of his hearing. 

"Shit, time for defense!" Josh thought as he reached down next to him and picked up a broken car door. He held it up like a shield as he hid behind it, feeling Killer shoot it over and over. 

"He can't hear me, Poppy! Get behind him!" Killer said to her as she took flight, going above Josh as she swopped down and landed right behind his back. 

"We're taking you alive, but that doesn't mean we can't hurt you!" Poppy yelled as she pulled out a knife from the strap on her right leg and stabbed Josh in his left shoulder. He let out a quick grunt of pain, but he shrugged it off and swung the car door back at her. He struck Poppy and sent her crashing into the side of a car. She was still conscious but it was obvious she took quite a bit of damage, as she was barely moving now. 

"Bad move, kid!" Killer shouted as he fired his revolver again, this time hitting Josh in his right leg and making him collapse to one knee. Killer went to fire again to hit his other leg, but he was out of ammo and had to reload. 

"JOSH, NO!!" Trini screamed as she tried to use her quirk to help him out. But she was still too damaged to focus enough to use it. Molly came up to her and stepped down onto her back and then kneeled down and grabbed her by her hair to lift up her head. 

"No, no, no, you're not interfering here. You're going to watch your boyfriend suffer, and then, it's your turn. Once he's down, you're going down six feet under." Molly said to her as she tried to struggle free, but Molly kept her grip hard and Trini had no chance of escaping.

"Fuck.... gotta... push past the pain...." Josh said to himself, trying to ensure the stinging pain he was feeling. He pushed himself up to stand again and then tossed the car door with all his might. He threw it so hard and fast that Killer had zero time to get out of the way. He was struck in the chest and Killer was sent flying backwards. But Markus caught him in his arms, only Killer was knocked out and had a massive bruise and ripped up skin on his chest. Markus dropped him to the ground and began to clap to his son. 

"Stabbed and then shot in the leg, and yet, you're still not pulling any punches. That's what I like to see. Ping, you wanna take a crack at him?" Markus asked him as he sat in his wheelchair next to him. 

"No, not really, but.... when do I ever get what I want, right? Alright, let's get this over with." Ping said as he rolled his way over to Josh. 

"I would think this is a joke, but I know what the squad is capable of. I'm sure.... i'm sure you're just a good in combat as the rest of your little team." Josh said to Ping who just shrugged his shoulders as he came right up to him. 

"You could say that. Some people might even say i'm better. So come on, kid, take a swing at me." Ping said, but first, Josh tore off a piece of his costume around his chest and wrapped it around his leg wound. 

"Don't want me to die on all you, would ya? Anyways, let's do this, wheels." Josh said as he swung his left arm at Ping. But Ping ducked his head underneath, easily dodging the punch as he then used his arms to lift himself off his wheelchair and into a handstand on its arms. He began spinning himself over the wheelchair, his legs swinging at Josh and hitting him repeatedly as he kept his arms up to guard.

"What the fuck is up with this guy!?" Josh questioned as he suddenly felt something slash his back. He turned his head quickly and saw Poppy had ripped up his back with one of her talons.

"Forget about me!?" She shouted as Josh reached back and grabbed her by her head. He then took a boot to the face as Ping was still swinging his legs around, but with his free hand, he grabbed Ping's other leg as it came around and stopped him. He then lifted Ping off his wheelchair enough so he couldn't touch it, and then he kicked it away. 

"That's enough!" Josh shouted as he swung Poppy and Ping at each other, smashing their backs against one another and just dropping them on the ground. Neither was moving much as Josh turned his attention once again towards his father. He picked up his sledgehammer along the way before stopping about 20-30 ft away. 

"Molly, you stay here with his girlfriend. Seems my son's dead set on having a good ol' brawl with his pop." Markus said as he cracked his knuckles and rolled up the sleeves of his black jacket. 

"Not even you are gonna stop me, dad. I'm stronger than I was before. Even if i'm injured, my new strength will still be plenty to whoop your sorry ass into next week." Josh threatened, pointing the end of his hammer at Markus' head. 

"Even stronger, eh? No one to help you this time, so let's see if you can finally fight with dear old dad on an even playing field!!" Markus yelled as he and Josh charged each other. Markus activated his Crush quirk on his left hand and reeled it back as they neared one another. When he was close enough, Markus threw his punch but Josh collapsed to his butt and slid underneath and behind Markus. He then quickly rose up and jumped off a flat angled piece of concrete, swinging his sledgehammer as he smashed it against the side of Markus' head. Markus stumbled away a few feet but remained standing, his head bleeding a bit from the strike. 

"My skills got better too. Unlike yours, it seems." Josh told him as Markus cracked his neck a bit. 

"Guess they did.... just makes things more interesting though!" Markus replied as he threw another punch at Josh. But Josh jumped back to avoid the hit and jumped off that same chunk of concrete. He brought his sledgehammer over his head and then swung it down, bashing it against the top of Markus' head. Markus didn't back away this time, and Josh capitalized by swinging his hammer upward and uppercutting his father in the jaw, sending him flying through the air as he landed on top of a car.

"Get up from that, ya son of a bitch." Josh said as he turned his back, looking to Molly who was the only Squad member left standing that he could see. But before he could start to threaten her, a basketball sized chunk of concrete was thrown at him, hitting the back of his head which made him nearly fall over. Josh turned around to see Markus back on his feet. 

"Now this is more like it.... You don't need the help of others.... to fight me now...." Markus said as he spit up a tooth from his bloody mouth and then took off his jacket. 

"I'm just getting warmed up.... you ain't seen nothing yet, dad!" Josh shouted as he swung his hammer, despite Markus being over 20ft away. However, mid-swing, Josh hit a button on the grip of his sledgehammer and the head of it extended out from a chain, giving him the reach he needed to hit Markus. 

"That really is a cute toy you've got..." Markus replied as he reached out and caught the hammer head, stopping all of its momentum. He then gripped it and its chain tightly and pulled hard, lifting Josh off his feet as he was pulled over as well. Markus reeled back his right arm and rammed it into Josh's face, forcing it down as Josh was slammed into the street next to Markus. "But you're too old for toys.... so let's see you fight me, man to man, with nothing but our fists." Markus said as he threw away Josh's sledgehammer and then stomped down onto his chest repeatedly.

"STOP IT!! PLEASE, STOP HURTING HIM!!" Trini pleaded as she cried from watching Josh get hurt. Molly shoved her head onto the ground face first and did nothing but laugh at Trini's cries. 

"If you can't take watching any of this, then just look at the ground until it's over. It's all you'll be seeing anyways when we're finished here." Molly said to her as Markus stopped stomping on Josh, reached down and picked him up by his neck off the ground.

"Just say the word, son, and all this pain and suffering will cease. Do the smart thing for both of us." Markus said as Josh only laughed at his father's request. "Something funny?"

"Yeah.... it's you thinking that i'm gonna quit.... because that's something.... I won't do.... until the day I die.... I'm.... just getting warmed up!" Josh shouted as he grabbed Markus' arm, then lifted him legs up and wrapped them around his arm as well. He then pulled himself back, taking Markus with him as he flipped him over onto his back. Josh then got up first and jumped onto Markus, pinning his arms down with his legs. "Now it's my turn!"

Josh went on to slam his fists into Markus' face and chest while he had him pinned, bruising it and making blood fly everywhere. Markus would try and pry Josh off using his legs, but Josh would fling them off whenever Markus tried. 

"Shit, the kid's gonna beat the boss! Fuck this girl, i'm helpin' him!" Molly thought to herself as she stomped down on Trini's head one last time before running over to help Markus. "Get off of him, bastard!"

Molly tackled Josh off of Markus but he quickly shoved her off of him. But, as Josh got up, he noticed his left hand was covered on Molly's sticky fluff. He tried pulling it off, but once he got it off his hand, it was now sticking to his right hand.

"Thanks, Molly.... May need... your help.... slow him down..." Markus told her as he pushed himself up to his feet. 

"With pleasure!" Molly said as she began to make more fluff all over her upper body. She charged Josh who accepted the fact he wasn't getting the fluff off his hands as he turned to face Molly. He threw a punch at her as her fluff expanded, creating sort of a shield which Josh struck. He left fist didn't stick this time but it bounced right off and Molly countered by punching him in the chest and left arm with her fluffy arms. This time, the fluff was sticking, making it harder for Josh to move his arm. "Fluff I make on my arms is super sticky for everything except for me, and fluff on the rest of my body is super bouncy. Doesn't sound too great for you, does it, kid?"

"Yeah.... it doesn't.... doesn't mean I don't have a way to beat you though!" Josh shouted as he, without hesitation, reached over and grabbed onto the fluff around Molly's body. He lifted her off the ground as she tried to pry herself from his grip, using her sticky fluff on her arms to help. But her tries were pointless as Josh threw her hard and far into a large fire, ripping some of the skin off his arms in the process from Molly's fluff. He saw Molly run out of the flame, the fluff on her burning off as she collapsed against the side of a car, still breathing, but very much hurt. And seeing that fire burns off the fluff, Josh stuck both his arms into a nearby flame, searing his skin a bit as he watched the fluff melt off him. 

"Now then.... where were-" Josh tried to say, but as he went to turn around, he was met by a Crush blast from Markus which shot him through a car. 

"I was kicking your ass, is where we were. Now come here." Markus said as he approached Josh who laid in a pile of scrap metal. Markus grabbed him by his hair and then swung him back, throwing Josh across Time's Square where he landed on a mound of concrete near Trini. Markus came over as he saw Josh was in clear pain, his teeth clenched and agony all over his face. Blood was everywhere, and his body was looking like a giant bruise now. Josh was nearing his limit as he was becoming exhausted. "Now to ensure you stop running from dear old dad..."

Markus removed a metal rod used for construction from the ground and as he came up to Josh, he stepped down onto his chest to keep him from moving. And then, in one quick motion, Markus thrusted the rod into Josh's left leg. Josh screamed out from the overwhelming pain as Markus got off his chest and then put his right knee down onto him. 

"Could've been avoided, son. Didn't have to be this way. You'll live, don't worry. But my orders were to bring you in alive, no matter what condition that is. Doesn't matter if you're pristine and tidy, or roughed up and brutalized. And it's clear you made your choice, so this is what had to be done. Now...." Markus explained as he cracked his knuckles, then activated his quirk on his hands as he reeled back his right. "Time for some revenge..."

Markus went on to throw punch after punch at Josh, each hit embedding his head further and further into the concrete. Markus even struck Josh's chest and arms, ensuring he felt the pain everywhere. And with his leg impaled, Josh could barely move and had no choice but to take each hit, hoping not to black out.

"STOP!!!" Trini screamed, but Markus ignored her cries and kept up his assault, mangling Josh's body as blood flew everywhere. 

"PLEASE STOP!!!" Trini shouted again, but like before, Markus just ignored her. And as Markus briefly stopped to let Josh cough up some blood, he raised up his right arm, making the whole thing glow white as he went in for the finishing blow. 

"Light out, Josh!" Markus howled as he thrusted his arm right for Josh's face once more. 

"I..... SAID...... STOP!!!!!" Trini roared with a fury as Markus suddenly froze mid-swing of his fist. He tried to move in any way he could, but found he was as stiff as a statue. He could move his head, and that was it as he turned his head to look at Trini. Her dark green hair was now glowing and rising up as she was pointing her right index and ring fingers at him, using her ESP to immobilize him. "I.... WON'T.... LET YOU.... HURT HIM.... ANYMORE!!!" 

Trini then closed her fingers and opened up her pinky, middle, and thumb, which made Markus fly backwards and higher into the air, where he crashed through an electronic billboard in the centre of Time's Square.

"Tri.... ni...." Josh said with a weak voice as he rolled over onto his side, coughing up more blood as he pushed himself up to his knees and crawled over to her. "Can.... Can you.... move....?"

"No... I can't feel my legs... If my head wasn't in so much pain.... I could use my quirk... to make my float... it already.... took a lot... to freeze Markus... like that...." Trini said as the sound of glass shattering filled the area. Trini and Josh looked over to where she'd sent Markus and they saw him jump down from the hole he'd made by flying through the board.

"You're gonna pay for interfering with family business, girl. I don't care if you're my son's girlfriend or just some random slut, i'm going to murder you where you lay." Markus said as both his arms glowed with the energy from his quirk. 

"I don't know if I can stop him again, Josh.... can you still fight...?" Trini asked as Josh gave a very slow nod. 

"Barely.... but... I've only got enough strength... for one last strike.... we need.... to make it count...." Josh said as he lifted himself up onto his feet, then picked up Trini and had her hand onto him by putting her arms around his shoulders. "Hand onto me, as tight as you can. I won't.... let my dad.... kill you...." 

"Put her down, son. You'll get in the way of my next attack." Markus said but Josh didn't budge. 

"I ain't moving.... if you want to kill her so badly.... then you'll have to kill me too.... and neither of things are going to happen.... now bring it.... old man..... it's about time.... I put you down...." Josh said as they both started walking at each other. They slowly picked up speed until they were finally running. 

"THEN I'LL JUST HAVE TO RIP HER OFF OF YOU!!! AND THEN YOU'RE ALL MINE, BOY!!!" Markus roared as they neared one another. 

"Just ignore him!!! I'll use whatever I can muster to increase your power!!"Trini shouted as she began focusing with her quirk, empowering only Josh's right arm which glowed with the same hue of green as Trini's hair. Josh then pumped up his right arm as well, with steam coming from it. He tightened it up so much that his skin was even beginning to rip and his veins were popping. Both Josh and Trini were pouring everything that had into this one final strike. 

"I don't care if you're my damn dad, our blood means nothing!!! I have my own family now among my friends, and the one I love who's here with me now!!! They are who I fight for, and you can't take them away from me!!!" Josh shouted as he reeled back his right arm to attack. 

"YES I CAN, AND I WILL!!! I'LL DESTROY EVERYTHING YOU LOVE IF IT MEANS SHOWING YOU A BETTER WORLD!!! AND IT STARTS WITH THAT MISERABLE EXCUSE FOR A GIRL WHO HANGS ON YOUR BACK!!!" Markus howled in absolute anger as he reeled back his right arm. And as they neared one another, Markus threw his colossal punch at his son. "IT'S TIME I OPEN YOUR EYES AND SHOW YOU THE IDEAL WORLD IN WHICH WE DESERVE!!!"

"NOW!!!" Trini shouted as she used her quirk to quickly lift Josh up into the air above Markus, making him waste his punch as Josh came down over his father. "FINISH HIM!!!"

"UNITED STATES.... OF SMAAAAAASSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Josh roared as his fist collided with Markus' face, taking it down and forcing it through the concrete. The resulting impact created an enormous shock wave which cracked building, shattered nearby glass, and cratered the very ground around Time's Square. And when the dust cleared, Josh and Trini remained standing, looking down at Markus who'd been blasted through the street and into the sewer beneath. He laid next to the water, a fist mark embedded in his left cheek as he laid in a pool of blood. 

"I told you.... Didn't need.... An army.... just me...... and my girl.... was enough...." Josh said as he collapsed to his knees, blood seeping out of his mouth as he held his right hand, which most of the skin was missing from now, revealing the bones of his fingers.

"We.... did.... it..... He's down....." Trini said as the sound of steps came from nearby. The two turned to see everyone else from the Injustice Squad, minus Gregory, was back on their feet. Each looked pretty beaten up and had faces of shock as they couldn't believe what they were witnessing. Josh even found the strength to stand up once again, even with Trini still hanging from his back. 

"Alright..... which one of you.... is next....?" Josh said, raising up his fists to continue fighting, despite looking like he could keel over at any second. But the sound of concrete moving dashed Josh's confidence as he turned his head back. Both him and Trini were utterly stunned to see Markus climbed up and out of the crater he'd been blown through. 

"I.... am not... done.... yet....." Markus gritted as he stood up. Blood poured out of his mouth, almost like a waterfall as Josh turned to face him instead. Markus raised his fists up too and began to approach, but before he took even 3 steps, he suddenly stopped. 

"One.... moment...." He said as he reached into his left pocket and pulled out a cell phone which was vibrating. Its screen was very smashed in but it could still work. Markus answered the call. "What... do you want..? I'm busy..... Yes.... They're all down.... all but 2 of them.... we were... in the middle.... of sorting that out.... yes.... I understand.... crystal..... We'll head out. Get Samantha.... to make her portals.... for us." Markus said as he then hung up his call and tilted his head back to let out a heavy sigh.

"What's the scoop, boss?" Poppy asked him as Markus brought his head back, looked to his companions, and then to Josh and Trini. 

"It would seem.... that we'll have to finish this.... some other time.... Injustice Squad.... we're needed elsewhere....." Markus explained as he walked past Josh and Trini and over to the rest of the Squad. A black gooey portal opened up in the ground next to them which they all stepped and sank into. 

"Don't die on me..... Josh.... we'll see each other again.... before the day ends...." Markus said as he was the last to vanish into the portal before it closed, leaving Josh and Trini alone. 

"You alright....?" Trini asked Josh as he began to walk them both in the direction of Central Park. 

"Yeah.... i'm good.... I've still got you here with me, right? I'll keep on ticking.... and protecting you.... we're not going to die." Josh said as the sound of footsteps could be heard some distance away. Josh briefly stopped to look around, but saw no one, not in the streets, not on any roof, nowhere. He believed it was just his imagination. 

"Guess it was nothing...." Trini said as they continued. Despite both being heavily injured, they continued their trek to their objective. If they wanted to win this day, they had to endure the pain and fight on to defeat this rising threat. 

-Back at LOVTech HQ-

Daina, who was still watching the live feed of Time's Square, was absolutely stunned as she appeared frozen in her chair. 

"Looks like your little play group got its ass handed to them. It's a god thing they were called somewhere else, otherwise, Josh and Trini would've beaten them even worse then they alrea-" Kira shouted with pride as Daina shocked all 4 of them again with her remote.

"Shut the fuck up, bitch! Your friends were just lucky, that's all! Had the Squad not have gotten called somewhere else, they would've murdered the girl and have taken Josh and brought him here! Those two are on death's door now! Anything that's thrown at them now will surely kill them! So, it's only luck that they're still standing now!" Daina shouted as she relieved her hand from the button and stopped shocking them. 

"Say what you want.... but that's a premonition of what's to come for all of you! We win! You lose!!" Harper shouted as Daina specifically shocked her now. 

"BE QUIET!!! I'M SURE THE LEAGUE WON'T MIND IF I KILLED JUST ONE OF YOU!! STILL HAVING THREE SHOULD STILL GIVE UP PLENTY OF LEV-" Daina tried to say as someone suddenly knocked on the door to the room. Silence came over everyone as Daina put down her remote and stepped over to the door. "Who the fuck is it?"

Daina got no response, and instead, whoever was on the other side knocked once again. Daina pressed the side of her head against the metal door to see if she could hear whoever it was, but once she did that, the door was knocked down in one shot. Daina was blown back and slid along the floor until she slammed against the side of the glass cell. She laid motionless afterwards as she'd been knocked unconscious. 

"Knock, knock, bitch." Ryan said as he and Tika stepped into the room. 

"Holy shit, how'd you two get in here!? And without being detected at that!" Twilight said in complete disbelief as Tika ran over to Daina to inspect the damage. 

"She's out cold. I'll see if I can find a key or something on her." She said to Ryan who stood next to the glass door to the cell. 

"Thanks to Tika's quirk, we were able to zap into the powerlines running beneath this place and zap ourselves around until we found you. There was no chance they could detect us that way." Ryan explained as Tika got up and seemingly walked over to the chair with the remote on it behind Ryan. 

"No key, but maybe this remote can open the door." Tika said as Ryan turned around as Tika handed him the remote. He then turned back to face his imprisoned friends and, as his back was turned, Tika unsheathed a knife from her back pocket. She brandished it and it quickly became visible to everyone else but Ryan. 

"LOOK OUT!!!" Everyone in the cell screamed as Ryan turned, only to be met with Tika's knife being thrusted straight through his neck. She quickly pulled it out and blood spewed everywhere. Ryan placed his hands over the wound to try and stop the bleeding, but it was so wide and deep that blood continued to gush out. He fell down to the ground as blood covered the floor. He gagged and coughed on himself as he looked up to Tika, a twisted smile on her face as she licked the blade of her knife. 

"Bu-bye, boyfriend!" Tika said as she brought her knife down and stuck it into the side of Ryan's head. She watched as the light left his eyes and his body went dead. 

"YOU MONSTER!!! MONSTER!!! YOU WERE THR FUCKING TRAITOR ALL ALONG!!!" Phobos roared in sheer fury as Daina began to stand again. 

"Hey now, don't say such rude things about my little sister. She's no monster. She's an angel, at least to me. After all, she was able to avoid and fool you all for such a long time, feeding us all the info we've ever wanted, right from the beginning." Daina said with a smile on her face as she gave a side hug to her little sister. 

"Did you have fun before I got here, sis?" Tika asked Daina. 

"Yes, I did. Torturing these 4 has been a blast so far. Care to have a turn?" Daina replied as she hit a button on her remote which opened up the door to the cell. Tika walked inside, generating electricity from her devices onto her hands as she approached her soon to be victims. 

"Absolutely. We are about to have so much fun together. Don't ya think, classmates?" Tika asked with the most sinister smile on her face. 

All that could be heard from the cell were the screams of those imprisoned, and the laughter of those who were torturing them. They weren't any closer to being saved, and now that Tika had revealed herself as the traitor and Daina's sister, the situation would only get worse for them as the battles all across New York raged on with no end in sight for either side.
