The P.H Pinnacle

The first arc has come to an end, and in its dying moments, Class 1 just barely manages to claim victory over Class 2. Honestly, it was super tough to figure out which Class should win based on the six students on each team 3. They all balance out so well. And I didn't want to tie it either because that felt like a cheap way to end things. So, after a while of contemplating it, Class 1 are our victors! And, of course, we can't forget about the tease at the end. Yes, after a long while of hearing when are we gonna see these characters, they finally make their appearance in the series! P.H's big three are here! Sounds like a smash bros. reveal, tbh. Also, fun fact: U.A's big three(Mirio, Nejire, and Amajiki) Amajiki and Nejire are both students in Class A and Mirio is actually in Class B. Always found that interesting. Anyways, enough rambling, it's time we begin our next arc! Enjoy!

-POV: Third Person- -Later that same day-

As P.H's school time came to an end and all the students left for home for the day, another event was beginning to brew. Hawks, Wrath Queen, as well as her sidekick, Refracta, had all gathered into Endeavor's office and currently waited for their guests to arrive.

"Are you positive that none of you can accompany us on this mission tonight?" Refracta asked the other three heroes as they all shook their heads.

"Unfortunately, we cannot. I have some business to discuss with our vigilante friends. And Endeavor, while I think it's a bad idea, will be joining me." Wrath Queen told her.

"And i'm headed off to New York to check out some info that said vigilantes leaked to us. I'll be gone for a few days." Hawks explained as Refracta simply sighed.

"I understand then. And I see why you allowed me to lead the mission." She replied as they all heard a knock on the door.

"You may enter." Endeavor said as three people came into the room. The first was a boy with short fuzzy green hair, blue eyes, about 6ft tall, and he dawned a long black jacket with a dark green combat vest overtop, as well as dark brown pants and black combat boots. Plus, he had two Shamshir style swords in hilts on either side of his waist, as well as, four more of the same swords strapped and crossed over his back.

-Marimo Juurou (Hero Alias: The Huntsman) Quirk: Spirit Limbs. Marimo is able to create up to four shadow-like arms from his body that aid in combat and possess a physical presence. He can also forfeit a limb or two and use their energy to enhance one of his blades-

The second was a girl, a few inches shorter than Marimo, who was darker skinned with long white hair and hazel eyes. Her costumes consisted of a full body purple and black leotard, fingerless black gloves, a turquoise coloured collar around her neck, as well as similarly coloured rings around her ankles and wrists.

-Namiko Saito (Hero Alias: Zone) Quirk: Nature Force. Namiko is able to freely control any of the 4 basic elements, so long as they're within a 100ft radius of herself-

And the third and final to enter was also a boy. He was the tallest, around 6'2 in height, with medium length fuzzy brown hair, and yellow eyes. His costume consisted of a black mask that went over his upper face, small black shoulder pads, black gloves that went up to his elbows, a navy blue sleeveless shirt, two black belts around his upper and lower chest area, black pants with black knee pads, and black combat boots. Plus, he had two large metallic wings coming out of his back.

-Kurian Takami (Hero Alias: Arc Angel) Quirk: Steel Wings. Despite the wings being made of steel, Kurian is able to easily take off into the sky and take flight. He can also pick off his metal feathers, some larger than others, and wield them like blades-

"You wished to see us, sir?" Kurian questioned his principal as Hawks walked up and gave him a comforting hug.

"Nice to see you, little bro. Awesome to see you've climbed the ranks of your school too." Hawks said to him as they let go of each other and then laughed a bit.

"Thanks. Wasn't easy, but with help from these two, I made it in no time." Kurian responded.

"I'm sorry to break up your little family reunion, but we have important business to discuss." Endeavor spoke as the brothers quieted down and allowed the principal to speak.

"This had better be worth our time, Endeavor. We already had our own duties planned for tonight. So what exactly is so concerning that you need all three of us to go out together?" Marimo questioned as Endeavor looked over to Refracta and gave her a nod. She had a remote in her hands and clicked some buttons, turning on a tv screen in the room and displaying a map of the city on it.

"With the Injustice Squad having killed over 90% of our cities resident heroes, we obviously had to call out for others nearby to take their places. However, as the month had gone by, the heroes who came to help had to leave as they were gone from their own cities for too long. So, that's where you and the rest of the third years came in. You all have been acting as our cities heroes in recent times, gaining valuable field experience and combat training defending the people and stopping crimes. This is the crime activity after the fall of the Injustice Squad." Refracta said as she clicked another button, making a bunch of red dots pop up on the map.

"Their influence caused a spike in criminal activity in our city and in hundreds of others across the country. However, our city and all the rest, thanks to you, have managed to subside much of the criminal activity over the past month. Here are rates as of 2 days ago." Queen said as majority of the red dots disappeared.

"They dropped by 80%. To be honest, seeing this happen in just one month, that's incredible. Hell, it's beyond pro levels of accomplishments." Hawks said to the three.

"The answer for that is quite simple, actually. Since all of us were rendered helpless and paralyzed during the battle against the Injustice Squad and left all the work to those first years, we wanted to prove we weren't useless like people would probably think. We push ourselves beyond our limits out there. What we do makes those first years look like a bunch of babies." Namiko said.

"I see. Well, in any case, we thank you for your work thus far. But as for your mission tonight, this one far exceeds any and all you've done before. This is a mission you cannot fail. But we have full confidence that you all will succeed." Endeavor spoke to them.

"And what exactly is it you want us to do?" Kurian asked as Refracta cleared her throat and hit another button on her remote, pulling up a mug shot of a man on the screen. The man was maybe only a few years older than the students, late teens or early 20's, with messy black hair and red eyes.

"Infiltrate and capture. And this boy you see here is our target. Real name is unknown, he goes by the name Vassago. And despite how young he appears to be, you'd be surprised to know he's the kingpin of Philadelphia's local drug cartel. And if we were to capture him, the information we could acquire would certainly aid us in the times to come." Refracta explained as Marimo unsheathed one of his swords, sat down cross-legged on the floor and began to sharpen it.

"And why is he so important? Far as I care, he hasn't done anything to us." He said as Queen then pulled out an empty phial from a pouch in her costume. All that was in it was a very small amount of a purple substance.

"This is urgent because of this. Trigger. And thanks to some of our first years, we learned that this Vassago was the one who gave the Injustice Squad all of the Trigger they had used. And it's clear he has the means of manufacturing this drug. So your jobs will be to destroy any means of production for Trigger, locate Vassago, and then capture him. Doing so may finally lead us to those final few members of the Injustice Squad. And maybe even someone much worse." Queen told them.

"So this is the stuff I've heard so much about lately, eh? If it does what I've been hearing, then I see why it's so important to stop its production. Where exactly is this guy located?" Namiko asked as Refracta hit another button and made the image disappear, zooming in on the map towards the docks along the Delaware river.

"The warehouse district along the river. This guy hasn't exactly been hiding...." Hawks began to say as his little brother cut in.

"Well, he wouldn't have to if he had a lot of back up, right?" He said as Hawks gave him a nod.

"Smart boy. Vassago is protected by his own personal army of thugs. Unfortunately, we're unable to know how many of them have quirks. However, he typically keeps 2 others by him at all times. But due to them rarely being seen and never being captured before, we're unknown as to what they look like or what their quirks, if they have any, may be." Endeavor explained.

"You're asking quite a lot of us, despite the fact we're only 3 people, you know." Marimo said as he finished sharpening his blade, sheathed it and stood back up.

"Are you saying that even you three aren't capable of pulling this off? I'll have you know that i'll be acting leader on this mission as well, i'll be there alongside you to fight." Refracta told them as Kurian shook his head.

"That's not quite what my friend here meant. While we could pull this off with just the 4 of us, we'd prefer to be more safe than sorry." He said as Hawks chuckled a bit and gave a curious look.

"Got another hair-brained idea, little bro?" Hawks asked him.

"I wouldn't call it hair-brained. No, all i'm trying to say is we should increase our numbers a bit. We'll bring the Sub 3 with us as well." Kurian suggested as almost all the pros went into thought.

"Wait, what Sub 3?" Refracta questioned as she wasn't aware of what Kurian was referring to.

"The Sub 3 are the next highest level students behind the Big 3. They are all second years. Essentially, each year level has its own big three, the first years being the Minor, the seconds being the Sub, and the thirds having the Big 3." Queen explained to her sidekick.

"Oh, I see. Are they still here?" Refracta asked as Namiko nodded.

"Yeah, I texted one of them so they'd stay. When you sent us the message that all this was urgent, we figured we may need their help. So I asked if they could stay just in case we did need them." She explained to the pros.

"It appears you're all as smart as you are skilled. Should be fun getting to work with you all tonight. Now then, we leave here at 6. Go inform those second years and prepare everything you'll need. This will be no easy mission. This time for certain, you will be putting your lives on the line." Refracta told them as the Big 3 gave her nods before exiting the office. And upon leaving, Marimo tripped over something and fell over.

"Oh, for fucks.... what the hell did I trip over!?" He shouted in frustration as they all looked back and saw one of LOVTECH's service bots cleaning next to the door to Endeavor's office.

"Jeez, why does the school even have these things!? We have janitors for a reason!" Marimo shouted as he stood back up, unsheathed one of his swords and stabbed the service bot. The blue light on the top of it turned off and the bot made your typical shutting down noise. Marimo then pulled his sword out and sheathed it.

"Really dude?" Namiko said to him with a very unamused face.

"What? There's dozens of these things in this school. I'm sure they won't mind one getting busted up." Marimo said as the three of them walked off to go meet with the Sub 3.

But, as they walked off, the service bot, while essentially destroyed, began to quietly beep and send signals to its point of origin, LOVTECH.

-LOVTECH HQ-

"Alright, I got your call. What's the issue?" Victor Stroman asked as he came into a room filled with monitors. He came up to a worker who was typing frantically on a keyboard.

"One of our service bots just went offline. Took me a few minutes but I located where it died. Right inside Persevering Heights academy." The worker told him as Stroman became very interested.

"Is that so? Any chance you can get the feedback before the bot went offline?" Stroman asked as the worker put in some coding and pulled up the bots memory file.

"Everything that this bot's seen since it was turned on will be here, sir." The worker told him as he opened up the video file and began playing it. Over 24hrs of footage was on it.

"Skip ahead to the last half hour before it went offline." Stroman instructed as the worker did just that. Stroman than watched and listened in to the conversation Endeavor, Queen, and the rest of the pros had with the Big 3, up until Marimo destroyed the bot.

"So, their paying a visit to Vassago tonight, eh? This could prove to be troublesome for us. Inform the CEO that i'm leaving early today for some business. And message Samantha and tell her i'll be up in her office in about 5 minutes. I'll need her to take me to Vassago." Stroman said as he then left the monitor room.

"So, the hero side finally takes their next big step. It seems appropriate that our side of darkness shows itself at last....." Stroman said to himself in a maniacal manner as he whistled down the hallway.

-P.H Academy, Support Department-

After being debriefed by the Big 3, the Sub 3 began to prepare themselves, gearing up in their costumes and acquiring any other support gear they may need.

The Sub 3 consisted of 2 girls and 1 boy, the opposite of the Big 3. The first, and strongest of this trio was Alicia Barnoman.

-Alicia Barnoman, Hero Alias: Blood Fairy. Quirk: Solid Light. Alicia is able to form solid light constructs from her hands and mold the light into objects suck as rings and even swords. She is light skinned, has long white hair, and bright purple eyes. Her costumes consists of a black top hat with a light blue rim, a light blue blouse with frilled cuffs, over it is a sleeveless black jacket that goes down to her knees, a matching black skirt, and light blue knee high boots-

The second was Sophia Almiz.

-Sophia Almiz, Hero Alias: Hydra. Quirk: Tail Hydra. Sophia can sprout snake heads from her lower back and control them to her will. If one is cut off, two more will take its place. However, once Sophia deactivates her quirk, the numbers reset back to three. The heads have minds of their own but will always listen to Sophia. Sophia is light skinned, had short orange hair, and dark brown eyes. Her costumes consists of a simple one piece late body suit, green in colour with a scale pattern all over it, plus a mask over her upper face, a utility belt with plenty of pouches, and black boots that almost go up to her knees-

And the third and final member was Marco Barrix.

-Marco Barrix, Hero Alias: Dark Spike. Quirk: Immortal Spikes. Marco is able to grow long and incredibly sharp spikes from anywhere on his body. The longer the spikes stay on him, the harder and darker colour they become. Once they become black, the spikes become as hard as titanium and are nearly impossible to break. Should some break though, new ones regrow in the same spot almost instantly. He dawns medium length black hair and bright blue eyes. His hero costume consists of a black jacket, typically opened revealing his chest and abs underneath. The jacket only reached down to the middle of his chest. Black fingerless gloves, navy blue and slightly ripped pants, dark brown boots that went just above his ankles, and a yellow bandana around his neck-

"Come on, come on, come on, what's the hold up? You guys are always so fast so why're you so slow now? Huh? Well, huh?" Alicia asked as her natural air-headedness took over. Marco and Sophia just rolled their eyes at their friend who was annoying the crap out of the two Support course students they'd gone to see.

"Oi, oi, keep your bloody trousers on! Gosh, you were so patient in first year, so what the bloody hell happened to you since then!? So demanding, my god, just a bunch of rubbish, you are." One of the two support students said.

-James and Camille Sartonis. Twins and exchange students from Australia, these two are both second years and the top students in the Support department at P.H. They're a dynamic duo whose quirks compliment each other perfectly. James' "Blueprint" quirk allows him to think and project literal blueprints from his mind of any object he can think of. And Camille's "Technopath" quirk allows her to move and control metal and construct anything she wants out of the material, so long as she knows what she's making.-

"Alicia, why the heck did you drag us over here for if all you're getting made for yourself are some infrared goggles?" Marco asked her.

"Hm? What's the matter? Tell me, tell me, tell me! No seriously, tell me. I didn't hear you." Alicia replied as Marco just sighed and shook his head.

"Alicia, you heard the Big 3, right? They said we'd be going to a warehouse district, which majority of the time is lit up with a bunch of lights. Do you really think you'll need these dumb goggles?" Sophia asked as a low hissing sound came from her back. She slapped her lower back and then shouted "Quiet down! And stop fighting each other!"

"Uh, yeah! Of course I do!! What if all the lights get busted!? Or someone just shuts them all off!? Or what if they just lose power and die!? What then!?" Alicia responded as Camille just looked at her like she's stupid.

"You do realize that your quirk lets you make light, right? I don't see your issue at all, you DADS girl." Camille said to her as she was waving her hands around some floating pieces of metal. She was attaching piece after piece to each other until finally she connected the last one. "There ya go, wanker. Some working infrared goggles."

"Woohoo!!! Thanks a bunch, you two! Oh, these are awesome!!" Alicia said as she took the goggles from Camille and rested them over her forehead.

"Now i'm all ready to go! How do I look?" Alicia asked her friends.

"The same but with goggles." Marco replied.

"Don't see any difference." Sophia said to her.

"Like a fuckwit." James told her.

"Like a wombat." Camille said, all of them just trying to give Alicia a hard time as she responded to them all by giving a pouty face.

"Jeez, fine. Sorry for asking." Alicia said as the Sub 3 went to leave. "We'll see you next time, you two! Keep up the good work!"

The three walked the halls of P.H, going back over into the hero section where they entered Class number 5. Inside awaited the Big 3 and Refracta who were all geared up and ready to go.

"And speak of the devil, they appear. 'Bout time you pipsqueaks showed up." Namiko said as she walked up to the Sub 3 and shook up Marco's hair.

"Now that we're all hear, let's discuss our plan of attack." Refracta said as she turned off the lights to the classroom and then used the projector to display a map of the warehouse district on the black board. "This is the target location, and somewhere hidden within its vicinity is our target, Vassago."

"How do we go in?" Sophia asked as Refracta grabbed some chalk and began drawing circles on the map, one on some rooftops, another by some labeled shipping crates, and a third at the entrance to one of the warehouses.

When we arrive, we take our first positions here, on this roof. It's elevated and will give us a clear view of the area and may potentially allow us to locate the target." Refracta explained as Kurian intervened.

"What if I just flew high above the location? I could relay the info to you with an earpiece." He suggested but Refracta shook her head at the idea.

"Too risky. We wouldn't want you to be seen too early. It could alert the enemy and Vassago could make a quick getaway. So we scope out the area first, and plan as we go. Now then, in the middle here by the shipping crates, it's highly likely some around here are filled with Trigger. If any are, then we have to either secure or destroy the supply so it can't be distributed." She explained as Marimo let out a heavy sigh.

"This is all nice, but what about the bigger picture? We're clearly gonna have to go loud at some point, so what will happen then? What stops this Vassago dude from escaping?" He asked as Refracta pointed to the third circle at the entrance to one of the warehouses.

"I was getting to that. This here is the central warehouse. And beneath it is a system of tunnels that connect all the others however, this main warehouse is the only way in or out of them, and there's just one way into the warehouse itself, and that is this entrance right here. If we push Vassago down into those tunnels, we'll have him trapped." Refracta told them all.

"So, do we have any specific duties? Or can we just go wild? Please say it's the first one, otherwise Marimo may get carried away." Namiko said as Marimo just shot her a look like "wtf you mean?"

"As a matter of fact, we do have duties. Big 3, you will all be our strike team. And Sub 3, you'll all be by my side. We're gonna be the distraction and try to force Vassago into those tunnels. Once he goes in, we'll send word to the Big 3 and they'll infiltrate the tunnels. And I get it, it sounds simple, but I can assure you all it's not going to be that easy. This guy might as well have his own private army. Be ready to be hit hard." Refracta spoke as all six students gave her nods.

"I call dibs on Vassago. Sounds like he's the only guy who's worth giving a damn over anyways." Marimo said as everyone just glanced over to him.

"Like hell you will, i'm finding him and taking him down." Kurian replied as the two fist bumped.

"Alright, that's enough. Sun's just about set. It's time we head out. Sub 3, with me. I'll drive. Big 3, you stick close behind. We'll stop here and make our way up to the building on foot." Refracta instructed, pointing to an alleyway on the map.

"Alright then. Let's get going and find this guy. And maybe we'll get him to talk about where the Injustice Squad's been hiding." Namiko said as everyone agreed. The seven of them then left the classroom and the school. Refracta and the Sub 3 all gathered in her car, and the Big three all got into Namiko's car. They all took off, heading through the busy streets to their destination. Upon arrival, they all parked in the alleyway and walked the rest of the way to the highlighted building. Going up to the roof, they all perched near the edge. Refracta pulled out some binoculars to inspect the warehouse district.

"I have eyes on the shipping crates. One of them is being loaded. Over there, the one on the far left." She pointed out as everyone looked to where she was pointing. A forklift was carrying crates labeled "fragile" so obviously they were filled with something important.

"Odds are those are filled with Trigger. Any sign of Vassago yet?" Sophia asked as Refracta kept scanning the area.

"Not yet..... lots of armed guards though, all packing heat. Haven't seen one without a gun yet. Wait..... wait, I see him!" Refracta said as everyone looked to where she pointed now. "He's standing in the entrance to the warehouse!"

"Yeah, I see him. Doesn't have his bodyguards on him though. Might be a good time to attack." Marimo suggested but Refracta stopped him.

"Not yet. Give it a bit more time, just to be safe. Wait, hold on.... he's..... he just pulled out a walkie-talkie. He's shouting into it. Holy shit, he's leaving. He's in the warehouse, heading for the stairs. Okay, he just went down into those tunnels, this is perfect!" Refracta spoke as all the students prepared themselves.

"Alright, the target just stepped into the trap. Now, let's move before he catches on." Kurian said as they all went to leave the building they were on, crossing the street until they stopped against a wall, and on the other side was the warehouse district.

"Big 3, head to the south side along the wall of the main warehouse. When I give the word, you three get in there and go down into those tunnels." Refracta instructed as the Big 3 all nodded and made their way over to the south wall. Refracta and the Sub 3 stayed where they were on the west wall and waited for Refracta to make the call.

"You three ready?" She asked them as they all gave stern and confident nods. "Then let's begin. We move now!"
