-POV: Third Person-

"So, if all of us are here in this elevator, then where is Poppy?" Markus asked Daina as he knew she was the lead on this operation.

"She's on standby, waiting for our time limit to run out. And Tika's up in the control room, giving us the eyes and ears around the place." Daina explained as Markus chucked a bit.

"I'm a little surprised you got your little sister in on all this. Figured she wouldn't want to risk her identity and then have her school against her." Markus replied.

"It did take a lot to get her on board. But, we couldn't have gotten this far without her." Ping told him as his legs suddenly gave out and he collapsed to the floor. "Shit, i'm outta time!"

"Damn, the Trigger's worn off. So that's 10 minutes of our time gone. In 5 more, Poppy's gonna make her run for us. We need to get to the surface as fast as possible." Daina said as Jake picked up Ping and slung him over his shoulders.

"Then don't hold back. Leave no one alive. Force our way into the sunlight again." Markus ordered as they were nearing the first floor. But before they arrived, Daina got a text from Tika.

"Shit! Alright, get ready to fight. All the guards shot down the other prisoners and are waiting for us once these doors open. Be ready for one hell of a fucking fight." She told everyone as Markus then grabbed the back of her neck like before and lifted her off the ground. "Oh fuck, not this again...."

"It's worth a shot. Worked for us on the bottom floor. We'll see how it goes now. Ping, act unconscious." Markus said as everyone took ready positions, Daina acting like she was in pain, and Ping just laying limp on Jake's shoulders. And when they arrived at the top floor, the doors opened and they saw maybe over a hundred guards pointing guns at them. But none fired as Markus showed off the still disguised Daina in his grip.

"What's the matter, boys? Too afraid to fire because you don't want to kill a hostage?" Markus jokingly asked as he stepped out of the elevator, followed closely by everyone else.

"Markus Wheeler, you and your little friends are the only prisoners alive in this place. Look around you at those who tried to escape before. Take that as a warning, let the hostages go, and go back to your cells. That is the only way you will live here." The captain of the guards told him as Markus just sighed at his demands.

"I don't think you get it. We're not going back to our cells. The only place we're going is out the front door. You guys can't stop us." Markus said as the sound of guns cocking filled the room.

"Then you leave us with no choice. While it may take the lives of the two innocent people you have with you, we are now forced to kill you all. Open fire!" The captain ordered his men as they all fired at Markus and the rest of the Injustice Squad.

"SHIT, BOSS, LOOKOUT!!!" Shield howled as he activated his quirk and made a barrier form in front of them all, blocking the shots.

"Well, guess there's no point in keeping this thing on if they're gonna kill me too." Daina said as Markus let her go. She pulled off her wig, as did Ping as she pulled out the gun she'd taken from the guard on the bottom floor. "Shield, any chance you can make small holes in your barrier!?

"I can but it's hard to do it in this kind of situation! There's too much pressure on my barrier right now!" Shield said, the sound of struggle in his voice as Gregory stepped forward, cracking his fingers a bit.

"Don't fret, my friend. I can thin out the herd for us." Gregory said as he pointed at two of the guards with each hand. He took control of their blood and lifted them up into the air, then waved his arms, making the two guards fly all over the place. He brought them down in between the Squad and all the other guards and they were shot up, making some of the guards relieve their fire for a moment. But with those two guards now very dead, the resumed their pressure. "Worth a shot, so let's try this, now!"

Gregory then launched both dead bodies at the guards, knocking a bunch down. Shield then focused hard, some veins showing up around his arms and forehead as he opened up a few small holes around his barrier. Jake, Daina, and Jade all stepped up to them and returned fire, with Daina using her gun, Jake turning his right hand into an assault rifle, and Jade filling that side of the room with her paralyzing green gas.

"Don't breath in that gas, men! Somebody, bring in a rocket launcher!" The captain ordered as a few guards stepped out of the way to allow another one to come in with a rocket launcher.

"Don't think I can take all this gunfire and that rocket! Someone, take that thing out, now!" Shield shouted as sweat poured down his face. Daina and Jake went to shoot at the guard with the launcher but Markus stepped in the way before they could.

"Shield, when I say, lower the barrier." He told him as everyone looked at him like he was stupid.

"Are you crazy!? We'll die!" Molly shouted at him but Markus just laughed away.

"Don't worry, I can handle this." Markus replied as he activated his quirk and reeled back his right arm. The guard then fired the rocket and it soared towards the barrier. "NOW!!!"

Shield then deactivated his quirk and made the barrier disappear. But at the exact same time, Markus thrusted his arm forward, unleashing a huge blast of energy which, not only destroyed the rocket that had been fired, but blew back every bullet that was fired. The blast kept on going though as it crashed into the guards in front of them, blasting them as well as Markus' attack was so powerful, he blew up the wall behind the guards, making a giant hole to the outside.

"See? Told you not to worry." Markus said, cracking his neck a bit as a bolt of electricity suddenly shot out of a nearby camera and into Daina's phone. She pulled it out and saw chibi Tika on the screen.

"Figured my time was done in the security room. Better hurry, Poppy's gonna be here in one minute." Tika said from the phone speaker as all of them picked up the pace and ran out the hole in the wall, only to be fired at again from guards in the towers. The Squad took cover behind a jeep and Molly gave extra cover by building up some of her fluff around the car.

"Where the hell is Poppy!?" Killer shouted as Daina pulled out her phone to check her countdown.

"30 Seconds! We need to get to the front gate, now!!" Tika shouted to Daina as Jake returned fire to the guards in the towers, managing to hit some of them.

"Shield, give us some cover!" Markus shouted as everyone took off, heading for the front gate of the prison as Shield made a barrier in front  and behind them all to cover from the other guards by the gate. And as they headed for it, they all saw an armored police truck burst through the gate, and spin around so its back doors were to the Squad. Poppy then stuck her head out the driver side window.

"COME ON, GET IN!!!" She screamed to everyone as they arrived at the back of the truck. Molly opened up the doors and everyone started to get into the truck. Only Markus and Shield remained, with Shield still trying to fend off all the bullets being fired on them all. He was a bit further away from the truck than everyone else.

"Shield, come on, we gotta go!!" Markus shouted, trying to reach out and grab him.

"I'm tryin', boss!!! Hard to move when i'm keeping this barrier up!!" Shield said as he took a step back, but slipped on the casing of a bullet, falling down onto his back. He kept his barrier up, but now it was hard for him to try and stand back up with all the pressure on his barrier. "I can't.... it's not gonna hold!!"

With Shield under pressure so much from being fired at, his quirk gave out on him. His barrier protecting him disappeared and Shield was shot multiple times from the guards. And, a shot to the head sealed his fate. The Injustice Squad could only watch as one of their own met his end.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!" Markus roared at the top of his lungs as anger and sadness rushed over him. He, instead of getting into the armored truck, stepped away to avenge his fallen companion.

"MARKUS, STOP!!! WE NEED TO LEAVE, NOW!!!" Daina yelled to him but Markus was too far gone to listen.

Markus activated his quirk once more, the very earth around him beginning to shake as the crushing force resonating from his was increasing to levels he'd never produced before. Bullets were flying away from him when they'd get close, and  Markus was able to freely bring both of his arms back, with both his hands glowing an intense shade of white.

"All of you..... JUST DIE!!!!" Markus roared as he clapped his hands together, unleashing a gigantic blast from himself that engulfed everything around him, even the towers where the guards were stationed. He knocked down well over half the prison, reducing it to nothing but rubble as the other half crumbled on its own.

"Holy shit......" All the other members of the Squad said as they just watched in awe from the back of the truck. They were lucky enough that the blast didn't go behind Markus either, otherwise they would've been hit as well. They watched as Markus turned around, picked up Shield's body and carried him over to the truck. He got in and laid Shield down and then closed the door. Poppy then floored it and they got the fuck out of there. At last, the Injustice Squad was free from their imprisonment. But it came at the heaviest of costs.

-1 Hour Later-

After taking many obscure routes, just in case if any authorities or heroes may have followed them, the Injustice Squad finally returned to their hideout. Everyone got out of the truck and went inside; all but Markus who had Shield in his arms again.

"Boss..... I understand how much you cared for him.... he was the first of us you found right? Before me and my sister?" Daina said as she'd come back out to check on Markus. She stood next to him with her head down, a shovel in her hands.

"He was. A bit annoying, and honestly insane, but we still cared for one another. This day, while it brings celebration for us.... it still needs to be paid its dues. We will not let Shield's death go in vane." Markus said as, for the rest of the day, he and all the other members of the Injustice Squad dug a grave for and put Shield to rest. And after everyone who had been imprisoned changed into some more normal clothes, none of them really knew what to do next. Daina and Ping had removed all the makeup that Tika had applied to them, giving Markus his first look at what Phobos had done to Daina.

"So this is what that kid did to you....?" He questioned as he stood next to Daina, gently rubbing his hand down her half melted face.

"I promise you, boss, i'm going to murder that Phobos kid, even if it kills me. Once we're back to fighting strength, we should take it to P.H and annihilate all those worthless heroes in training." Daina replied as Markus took his hand away and went over to a long table that everyone else was sitting at. He took his seat at the head of the table as Dains sat down at the other end.

"I admire your spunk, Daina. I always have. But I know you're not stupid either. We all witnessed what just a few of those students are capable of. Attacking again so soon would be suicide. We need to build our forces, just as we did before with all of you." Markus said, referring to all the members who joined that night in the factory. "Only then, when we have enough firepower, can we even start thinking about attacking that damn school."

"I might be able to help with that, then." A new voice said as everyone jumped up to their feet, brandishing any weapons they had and activating their quirks. Someone had managed to infiltrate their hideout.

"Who the fuck was that?" Tika questioned as footsteps could be heard in the room. Stepping out from the shadows in a corner of the room was none other than Victor Stroman. Everyone looked to him and aimed their weapons, with Markus approaching the man who was unknown to most of them.

"Oh, relax everyone. I'm not here to cause some sort of scuffle, and i'm certainly not any kind of law authority." Stroman said to them all as Markus came up and stopped about 2ft away, looking down at the well dressed man who showed no fear at all.

"Then who the hell are you and how the hell did you find and get into this place? No one, besides us, even knows its here." Markus questioned the man as Stroman stepped around Markus and sat down in Markus' chair, kicking up his feet on the table.

"I have many resources that help me locate and keep an eye on things. One such resource you have here as we speak." Stroman said as he snapped his fingers. Rolling into the room was the service bot which went around the table to Stroman's side. He then picked it up to show Markus.

"Oh, now I know who this is!" Tika said as Stroman looked at her and put a finger to his lips.

"You see, I work for and fund a lovely company named, "LOVTech." Ever since you all were taken down last month, we've been making a fortune with the production of these service bots you see here. Think of them like a "Roomba from the future on steroids."" Stroman explained, glancing over to Tika as he'd heard her call it that before. Tika and the others who weren't captured all looked surprised as to how this guy knew all this.

"So what, you're essentially a cleaning service. How does that explain what you're doing here?" Markus asked, growing a bit impatient now.

"Yeah, you're technically correct, but that type of service is just a front for our true motives. You see, i'm part of a very interesting group of individuals, some that have had their eyes on you all for quite a while. And they would very much like to meet you all." Stroman said as he put down the service bot.

"And who exactly are these people of yours? And what's this true motive you're talking about?" Markus asked.

"Our motive is to take down the wretched society of heroes that controls our world. They make us all weak, having to depend on them. We intend to make a world where people can grow strong once more. A world of only the strong. And these service bots we've made will ensure we get our ideal world. You see, these robots have hidden cameras within them, allowing us to spy on whoever has one. In fact, we've been watching your little group when it was down to just 4. Quite impressive acts for such few people, if I may say." Stroman said to Daina and the others who weren't captured before continuing.

"But these bots have another purpose. You see, when they take in materials, we state that it just disintegrates it. They don't, actually. No, they mold the materials into an artificial flesh and body, and once ready to deploy, the flesh morphs into a creature known as a "Nomu." They're quite powerful, especially when equipped with the proper quirk. And currently, we have over a billion bots deployed worldwide. But they're not really what i'm here to discuss with all you. My higher ups are what I wish to talk about." Stroman explained to them all.

"And just who the hell are your higher ups?" Markus replied as Stroman got up from his chair and reached his right hand out to shake it with him.

"My name is Victor Stroman, Mr. Wheeler. I am the spokesperson for LOVTech. That's "League of Villains" Tech, FYI." Stroman told them as some grew shocked at this discovery. Markus remained calm though and grew a small smile.

"So you really were still out there, living in the shadows and biding your time. That makes me truly happy to hear that the League is still alive. But are any of its founders still left?" Markus asked Stroman who still had his hand out.

"Shake my hand, and i'll show you everything you want to see. We at LOVTech can make you an offer you won't want to refuse. We can help you achieve what you've all lost. We can make you people again. Homes, money, whatever you want, it can be provided with the snap of a finger. So.... what do you say?" Stroman offered as Markus looked at all his friends. Some looked unsure, but others gave expressions for him to take the offer.

"Well, we're not exactly in a terrific position here, having just escaped prison and lost one of our own, so.... what the hell." Markus said as he shook Stroman's hand, sealing their deal. Stroman then pulled out his cell phone and dialed a number. It rang a few times before someone picked up on the other end.

"Yes, Samantha, it's Victor. Yes, i'm done here. I'll need you to open up another one.... and make this one big enough for 11, deary." Stroman said as he hung up. A gooey black hole then suddenly opened up in the side of a nearby wall and Stroman walked up to it.

"I'll wait for you all on the other side." He said to everyone as he stepped through. The Injustice Squad all followed, with Daina and Markus taking a second before they went in as well.

"How can we be sure we can trust this guy, boss?" She asked him as he let out a sigh.

"We can't..... but if he really is from the League of Villains, then it's the best shot we've got at getting everything back. And, if he's working for the law.... i'll destroy him and everything else around us." Markus said as the two stepped through the gooey portal, coming out the other side in LOVTech's front lobby. Immediately, the Injustice Squad received applause from everyone who was working.

"What the hell is going on?" Poppy questioned as Stroman joined in and clapped a bit as well.

"It would appear your reputation truly proceeds you all. After all, it caught the eyes of my superiors. Not just anyone can do that nowadays. Now then, if you'd all follow me, i'll take you to them." Stroman told them as he led them through the lobby and over to the elevators. Everyone still clapped for them as they went across the room, but only Markus noticed one person was not. He noticed a woman sitting at the front desk, the secretary for the building, was no clapping for them. She had long brown hair, bright blue eyes, and she wore a lovely looking white dress. But most distinctive was a scar that ran across the front of her neck.

Rebecca Clarke, or Rebecca Nevermore now, also known as the vigilante "Twilight," had taken up the job as secretary at LOVTech, trying to investigate their recent uprising and info on Victor Stroman, then send info to Wrath Queen for analysis. Markus identified her right away, but decided not to say anything. Instead, all he did was make eye contact with her and put a finger to his lips. The expression she was making on her face made her look very worried, as someone now knew who she really was while she worked here at LOVTech.

"Hope none of you are afraid of heights. We're headed to the top floor." Stroman said as the elevator they were taking opened up and they all stepped in. The elevator itself was huge, easily 30x20x20ft.

"Any reason why this lift is so large?" Ping asked as he spun around in his wheelchair, inspecting the elevator.

"We commonly use them to transport our Nomu. Sending them up and down to different labs for testing. And some of them have grown to be quite large." Stroman said as they quickly rose up to the top floor. And upon arriving, Stroman directed them to the main office of the CEO. And when they entered, they were greeted by Toga, Mr. Compress, and Dabi as the CEO's desk.

"At last we meet. It is wonderful to see you again, Markus." Dabi said as the three walked over to introduce themselves.

"I do know who all of you are. Some of the founding members of the League. Compress, Himiko Toga, and Dabi. But what you say to me, i'm not sure what you mean. I haven't met you before." Markus said as Dabi just laughed a bit.

"Oh yes we have. Perhaps this will jog your memory." Dabi said as he held a glass of water in his hand. He poured it over his hair and washed out his black hair dye, revealing red hair underneath. Now do you remember me, Markus? I am Touya Todoroki. You First Cousin once removed."

"Well that certainly explains a lot now. I see now why you have such a strong fire quirk.... my cousin. You get it from your shitty father." Markus said as the two went in and hugged each other.

"Stroman had been watching you all for the past week and a half, and what he showed us was very amazing! The way you all kill people, it makes me so happy!!! All the blood, I want to see you make more!!" Toga said, creeping out Tika a bit who took a step back.

"And you're not overly flashy, either. Hell, you managed to do something even we could not in our prime." Mr. Compress said which made some members of the Squad curious.

"And what's that?" Molly asked.

"You managed to defeat the person who originally took us down over a year ago. You shocked the whole world by defeating, capturing, and manipulating Tenshonoma Cryshiki. You turned him into one of us." Stroman told them all.

"Thanks for the compliment, but that didn't last very long. The kid's gone and we don't know where he is." Daina said to them.

"Oh, we know. It would seem that Cry's memories have been damaged. He doesn't really remember much about himself at this time. And we were able to locate him a few days ago, but he just escaped our grasp. But as far as we know, he's still here in New York." Stroman told them.

"So, what? We go out and get him back?" Tika asked but she received some head shakes from Touya.

"No, we leave him. Once it all begins, he'll be brought back here by force. And then, we will all watch as he is killed in front of the whole world by Shigaraki." Touya explained as he stepped back over to his desk and hit a button, making the floor where everyone was standing lower until they were well beneath the building.

"Shigaraki is alive? I heard he was killed by some hero." Markus questioned as Toga shook her head.

"Not quite. You see, Shigaraki's body was almost totally destroyed by Cry last year. Only his body from his shoulders up, and only his right arm survived. But it was just enough to save his life. And now, we've rebuilt him." She explained as they arrived in the underground lab, filled to the brim with giant test tubes filled with Nomu, as well as, the central tube where Shigaraki rested, regenerating with Gigantomachia sitting guard behind it.

"Master nears...." Machia said.

"Heard that big guy died as well. Guess the world really did try and cover up a lot of this then." Markus said as Touya gave him a nod.

"Tenshonoma Cryshiki single handedly ended our reign last year. Nearly killing Machia and Shigaraki in the process. But now that he's not who he is, he's vulnerable. While the world may not know it, their greatest hero is useless. Without him, they have no chance at defeating what's to come!" Touya said as they could all see Shigaraki's fingers twitching, a sign that he was near completion.

"In less than 48 hours, our great leader will awaken. But I have faith that the heroes will invade well before then. Which is why we called for you all to be here." Stroman said as Touya stepped forward and met Markus.

"We are all the same here, we've lost so much in our lives. We all just want it back. But, if we can pull this off, this operation of ours, then we'll gain it all back. We will be kings and queens of our new world. So, cousin...... are you and your Injustice Squad in?" Touya asked as he held his hand out to shake. Markus, without hesitation, did the same, shaking Touya's hand, forming a deadly alliance that will shake the world. "Welcome to the League of Villains."
