Izuku was a kid who have gotten attacked just for existing it was then he met with Amelia for the first time though they dont remember it he choose to be a hero to change how society is and show the world a true hero saving his old bully was a catalyst that awakened his power of prophecy as he defeated the villan by himself he gained the respect of the heroes as they saw that he chose to fight despite all the issues while some heroes reprimanded him other congratulated him for doing what others wouldn't do after that he was rejected by all might as he didn't see any potential in him after that Izuku had an encounter that changed his life he met Venat who saw him as a boy with infinite potential as she taught him how to save a person's life and she effectively gave him his future back now he fights not for honor, not for fame and money, but for everyone and especially for her so she can live knowing that he will give everyone a future
