Quirk: No Quirks
Despite being a well renowned archer, able to hit any target in any situation, I travelled and worked alone. I grew up being quite the outcast, never interested in making any friends and was fine with it until my parents passed away and I had no one to turn to. That was when I left my home town to become a drifter, advancing the skills my father had taught me in archery. For money I would simply do peoples deeds, whether it meant I had to take out their enemies or simply injure them as a threat. I would get decent money for it, so it was a life I stuck to.
I had a simple treehouse in the forest, a small wooden hideout but it was perfectly comfortable for me as it was right next to a river and had a beautiful view. One afternoon however, my life changed completely.
I was cleaning myself in the waterfall that cascaded into the river by my treehouse, the cold water being refreshing on this warm day. There was fresh foliage growing around me, wild flowers blooming which was what I loved about living in the wilderness. I ran the creamy potion through my hair as instructed by the lady I bought it from, a witch with the name Uraraka, and she assured me it would make my hair shine like the sun. That was when I heard it, a small rustle coming from behind. Subtly covering my breasts with my elbow, I gently turned my torso around, keeping most of my back towards the rustling trees. Someone stood there, someone who confused me greatly.
It was a man with red and white hair, a large scar over his left eye, wearing incredibly expensive looking blue robes. He seemed to be staring at me with some interest, so I simply stared back. He appeared to be around my age, and I wasn't sure if it was just because all the men I had met where sweaty tavern goers handing me money in exchange for my services, but I thought this man was quite handsome.
"A-ah, my apologies," he suddenly said in a silky smooth voice, averting his eyes. I tilted my head with curiosity before turning my back to him completely and rinsing out the potion out of my hair. "I don't suppose you've seen a horse around here?"
"No, sorry," I said, squeezing the water from my hair and reaching for my towel that sat on a nearby rock. With no care in the world I turned my body towards him, mainly so I could reach the towel easier. I saw he was desperately trying to look anywhere but at me, so I wrapped the towel around me as I stepped out of the cascading water, making him feel more comfortable.
"You've not heard any rustle in the bushes?" He asked.
"Nope, only you," I said stepping closer to him. On closer inspection he did seem familiar. I was certain if I had met him before I would've remembered him. "You seem familiar," I said bluntly, hoping he'd tell me why.
"Do I?" He responded. 'No help at all,' I thought to myself. Turning away from him I reached for my clothes, bow and arrows that sat on the same rock the towel did and decided to walk away. "Wait, do you live around here?"
The more he spoke the more he seemed well educated. On top of that, with the incredibly sharp robes I could take a decent guess that this man was rich. "Yes I do," I responded. I was unsure on how to talk to him, he seemed so proper whereas I was not.
"Well, could you keep out for a white horse? She'll have a black leather saddle with two satchels either side," he asked. I looked him up and down before nodding. "That's a nice bow you have," he complimented, taking me by surprise.
"Oh - er - thanks. I needed a quality bow in my line of work," I said, then turning and walking away. I felt his eyes on me as I walked, holding the towel tightly around my body.
Once back at my treehouse I got changed into my normal clothes, however I couldn't get him out of my head. He didn't even introduce himself yet I was constantly thinking about him. I decided a bit of hunting might help distract my mind from him, so once again I left the treehouse and wandered around the forest, bow tightly in hand and my arrows readied on my back. Suddenly I heard rustling nearby, incredibly strong rustling followed by a loud neighing.
'The mans horse?' I thought, deciding to inspect further. Peeking over the bushes I was right, as a white horse with a black saddle was in front of me, its reigns tangled in tree branches. It was kicking and neighing loudly, obviously frightened. Carefully I approached the majestic creature; it stopped kicking and just looked over to me. I raised my arms, still etching closer towards it. It tugged on its reigns, digging its hooves into the ground but as I got closer it seemed to calm down. I reached out to pet its nose, which made the horse neigh happily and shuffle its feet on the spot.
Quickly I untangled the reigns but held onto them so she didn't run away. I continued to pet her as it seemed to calm her down at that's when I spotted it. On the leather strapping around her chest was the royal symbol of the Todoroki's. 'I knew he seemed familiar!' I thought to myself. "C'mon, we need to find your owner."
The horse looked as though it understood me as she bowed her head and I clambered on her back. We walked through the forest, keeping an eye out for the Todoroki prince, the horse seemingly keen to get back to her owner. Through the trees I spotted Prince Todoroki appearing more lost then ever. "Hey," I called out to him, catching his attention. He turned and seemed relieved when he saw his horse again, approaching us and immediately his horse was keen for his attention.
"Thank you," he said, patting the horses nose.
"No problem, Prince Todoroki," I said calmly, dismounting the horse. He paused for a moment, making eye contact with me. "The next time you want to go incognito, I suggest you taking off the royal symbol. You're already recognisable enough," I said, gesturing his hair, eyes and scar.
"Hm, yeah I suppose you're right," he said with a slight smile. "I'm surprised she let you ride her, she's usually very picky."
"I guess I just have a special touch," I shrugged, the white mare nudging her nose against my shoulder playfully.
"You know you still haven't told me your name," he said.
"You never asked," I replied simply. He raised his eyebrows. "It's (y/n)."
"(y/n)...?"
"I'll tell you when I know you better," I said, folding my arms. He simply smirked at my statement.
"Looks like I need to get to know you better then," he said cheekily. "You seem to know the forest pretty well, why don't you show me around?"
"Do you think I have nothing better to do?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. This question apparently caught him off-guard, as he briefly lost his confident appearance. I rolled my eyes. "Alright." I said simply.
Together we walked through the forest and I showed him the various places amongst the trees, including several small cottages and a rowdy pub which we didn't go into as I told him that there were many men who did not like his father frequenting there. Instead I decided to show him my treehouse. "It's all built by hand," I said, climbing up the wooden steps that spiralled round a tree.
"Handmade?" He asked, apparently not believing me. "Just by you?"
"Yes," I responded simply, opening the door to let him in. "It's not much in comparison to a castle."
"It's amazing," he seemed in awe of the place which did admittedly surprise me.
"Hm. Tea?" I offered which he accepted. I couldn't remember the last time I had been this sociable with a person, but the Prince and I just seemed to get along as though we had known each other for life. I liked him much more then I thought I would, and he wasn't as stuck up or arrogant as I expected he would be, maybe a little naive but it was to be expected after being protected by large castle walls for most of his life.
I told him of life in the forest and he told me of life in the castle, and despite not wanting to admit it, living in a castle sounded wonderful. One thing I didn't tell him about however was my line of work. Just in one day I had grown quite a liking to the man, him perhaps even becoming a friend, but I didn't want to scare him away by telling him that I was basically an assassin.
Quicker then both of us expected, it had reached nightfall and Shoto, as he told me to call him, announced that he had to head back to the castle. I was a little upset that he had to leave, as his company was refreshing and pleasant. Back down the tree, after he mounted his horse again, he asked me something that took me by surprise. "Can I see you again?"
"Really? You want to?" I asked.
"Yes I do," he smiled, and I nodded. "I'll come back tomorrow morning."
"Okay," I said, not trusting my voice to say anything else. He sent me one last smile before galloping away, and there was a strange feeling inside my chest. My heart seemed to be beating faster then usual, and I was unsure why. I went to sleep that night knowing that I did not expect anything like this to happen to me.
The next morning rolled around and I felt something stirring inside me, something that I had not truly felt in a long time: happiness and excitement. I lingered by the window to my treehouse, looking through the trees and listening out for galloping hooves.
Finally, after what felt like too long, I heard said galloping in the distance, it coming to a halt just below my tree. I peaked my head out the window and there stood the handsome prince, looking up and sending me a quick smile. Quickly I cleaned myself up, then instinctively grabbed my bow and arrow, climbing down the ladder and standing in from of him. "Do you take that with you everywhere?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, gesturing my bow.
"Well, you take your sword with you everywhere, don't you?" I asked.
"Hm, touché," he laughed lightly. Together we walked towards the edge of the forest, and along the beautiful clifftops that had an incredible view of the ocean. It was pleasant walking along this path with him, as we chatted about anything that came to our minds. Without realising it we spent all day together, the time going incredibly fast whilst in each others company. The more times he came to visit me, the more I began opening up to him. We spoke to each other about our pasts, our lives, learning more and more about each other and beginning to appreciate each other.

It was a month later, and Shoto had visited me almost everyday. I had grown very fond of him, more fond then I wanted to. It had reached the point where I was anticipating his arrivals, but who couldn't be attracted to him? Every time I went down to the local tavern, the girls there would always be fawning over him which, before I met him, never really bothered me as I had no interest whatsoever but now their constant gossip about the handsome prince made my teeth grit with annoyance. How had he managed to affect me so much?
It was evening time and once again I was back in my treehouse, waiting for his arrival. He told me the day previous that he was going to come over in the evening, which I thought was an odd time but I happily accepted it, thinking he had princely duties to attend to. Absentmindedly I stared towards the arrows he had brought me from his castle one time, and they were so beautifully decorated that instead of using them I just kept them out as decoration. Smiling at them I didn't hear the hooves of his horse until he was right below my house.
"Hi!" I called down to him, peeking out the window and seeing him standing there with a bouquet of flowers and a small box.
"Hey," he called back, waving one hand. He made his way up the spiralled staircase, smiling his handsome smile as I opened the door for him. "These are for you." He handed me the bouquet and I noticed they were a bunch of (fave/flower).
"Wow, Shoto, thanks but what are they for?" I asked, quite surprised.
"Well, I remember you said you liked them. Oh, and I got you this," he added, handing me the box. Utterly surprised by his behaviour, I opened it carefully to reveal a beautiful necklace which had a small golden bow and arrow on it. "Here, let me put it on you," he whispered, taking it from its box and walking behind me. I was completely speechless as he lowered it in front of my face, the cold gold then hitting my chest. Suddenly I felt the brush of his hands against my neck as he pulled my hair up from the necklaces grasp, it then falling perfectly around my neck.
I brought my hand up to it, unable to stop smiling. It had been a long time since I had smiled this much. "Shoto, this is incredible, what's this all for?"
"Well it's been exactly one month since we met and - well - (y/n) there's something I've wanted to tell you for a while now and I just haven't figured out how to tell you," he said, awkwardly rubbing the back of his head.
"What is it?" I asked nervously, but he decided that actions would speak louder then words and in this situation they definitely did. Before I had a chance to process what was going on, he pulled me in and pressed his lips against mine, but all too soon he pulled away.
"I've fallen for you," he said simply, staring at me with those hypnotising eyes. My heart was beating fast and I let my feelings take over for the first time in my life. I stepped towards him and pressed my lips against his, us both moving our lips against each others in a perfect rhythm. He ran his hands through my hair as I wrapped my arms around his neck, our kiss deepening and our mouths opening slightly. Getting slightly carried away, our tongues brushed up against each others as we stumbled around the room, him pressing me against the wall and running his hands down to my waist.
"Can I assume that you have feelings for me also?" He breathed as we pulled away from one another.
"Yes, definitely," I whispered, desperately wanting his lips again. We began to kiss heatedly, my heart racing as his hands went from my waist to my bum. I moaned a little when he squeezed it, and I could feel his lips smirk against mine. I ran my hands through his unique and soft hair, loving its feeling as his lips pulled away from mine and slowly travelled down my neck. "Mm, Shoto," I couldn't help but whisper. We pressed our bodies right up against each others and I could feel a very particular feature of his. "Do you wanna take this to my room?" I breathed, and he suddenly bit down on my neck causing me to whimper. Instead of answering he simply grabbed my hand and pulled me towards my bedroom door, slamming it open.
As soon as we were both inside we were back on each other - it was as if this whole time we had been so unknowingly hungry for each other, and we were finally getting what we wanted. I began pulling at his blue tunic, trying to undo the fancy buttons and growling at the fact I couldn't do it. He simply laughed. "You're eager," he teased.
"Says you," I whispered huskily, rubbing my hand bravely against his erect crotch. He groaned as I continued to rub against him, but he suddenly grabbed my hand, pushed me towards the wall and pining it above my head as he hungrily attacked my neck again. His other hand went to my covered breasts, however he began pulling at my clothes mercilessly.
That was when we both separated and ripped off our tops, freeing our torsos for the other to see. I widened my eyes when I saw his gorgeously chiselled chest and abs, and perhaps stared at them a little longer then I should've. "My face is up here," I heard him say and I looked up quickly to meet his heterochromatic eyes. He quickly had his hands on my waist however, and turned me around, pushing me towards the bed. Our lips never broke apart as he slowly lowered us onto the soft mattress, him holding himself up by his strong arms either side of my head so that his entire weight wasn't on me.
His hot lips ran from mine, all the way down my neck and to my chest, where he took one of my breasts in his mouth, sucking at it hard. I moaned in pleasure, also feeling him begin to pull down my trousers and underwear leaving me completely naked. He knelt up and stared at me, soaking me up. "Now who's staring?" I teased and he just smirked in response.
He stood up and took off his trousers, throwing them carelessly across the room. Slowly he lowered his boxers and there it stood, tall at about seven inches. I eyed it hungrily as Shoto climbed back on top of me, and as soon as he was face to face with me I pulled him in for a deep and passionate kiss. "I love you," I mumbled as we pulled apart.
"I love you too," he whispered back, pecking my nose. Carefully he lined himself up, apparently too keen to do any kind of foreplay. He brushed his tip between my folds a few times before gently inserting. I bit my lip as pain came first, him slowly etching further and further into me.
Once fully sheathed I couldn't help but moan out in unbelievable pleasure, already addicted to the feel of him inside of me. "Nngh! Sho-Shoto-!"
"You feel so good," he groaned in his husky voice. "So tight."
"P-please move..." I moaned and he did as he was told. We both began groaning, unable to hold back our pleasured moans as he thrusted into me. Our intimacy and romantic kisses flooded my body with even more pleasure, as the fact I knew he loved me made this feel ten times better.
"(y-y/n), you feel great," he groaned, thrusting faster. His member was pulsing inside of me as I cried out his name repeatedly, clinging onto his now slightly sweaty back. My legs wrapped around his waist loosely, him pounding into me even harder.
"Sho- d-don't stop, p-please don't stop!" I was simply moaning loudly as he kept up the pace. The words coming from my mouth barely made any sense but he too was groaning just as loud, scrunching up the bedsheets with his strong hands that were holding him up either side of my head.
"(y/n), I-I'm gonna- gonna- ngh! (y/n)!" He shouted louder and louder as he came closer and closer to cumming. I too was almost there, and I tried to warn him but all that was coming out of my mouth was grunts and groans. Suddenly however I screamed and scrunched my eyes shut as white hot pleasure ran through my veins, and I knew that he knew I had cum.
He suddenly pulled out and I felt a hot liquid pour onto my stomach. I looked down to see plenty of hot white cum on my stomach, and a semi tired looking Shoto above me. "Wow," he simply said, looking down at me.
"Yeah," I agreed, smiling back at him. "W-wait, Shoto, are you still hard?!"
"Maybe," he smirked above me. It was fair to say that that evening, both of us didn't get much sleep.
The next morning came and I woke up happily in the warm arms of Prince Todoroki, who was already awake and staring down at me. We shared a sweet kiss and spent most of the morning together before Shoto announced he'd probably have to head back to the castle before they sent a search party out for him.
I watched him ride away on his horse, feeling the happiest I had felt in a long time. Completely satisfied, I decided to head out myself and head to the local tavern for a simple drink by myself. I was unable to stop thinking about Shoto as I sat alone in the corner of the tavern. Company soon decided to join me, however.
"You're (y/n), right?" A lanky man in black robes asked as he towered over me. His skin was peeling and he had knotted greyish-blue hair.
"Who's asking?" I asked, staring at my drink.
"Someone who wants to offer you a job," he muttered, placing an incredibly large bag of gold on the table in front of me. "I heard if you get paid right, you never turn down a job. I've also heard you're good at what you do."
"Who's the target?" I asked in a slightly whisper, still casually taking a sip.
"King Todoroki."
I spat out my drink, coughing and spluttering embarrassingly. "W-what?"
"There is a lot of gold in that bag. Enough for you to life a very happy life, and it can be all yours," the man said, taking the seat opposite me. This time I looked up at him, eyeing him nervously. There was silence between us before I did something I rarely did, and that was refuse.
"No."
"Hm, well that's a shame, because look what I found this morning," he said, pulling out a bit of parchment from his pocket. I took it and my face fell. On the piece of parchment was a drawn portrait of me, underneath it were the words 'WANTED'. "Now, if you do this little task for me, my friends and I can guarantee your safety. So, do we have a deal?"
"I-I- give me a day to think about it," I mumbled, barely audible.
"Fine. If I don't see you back here at 11:00 tomorrow, you'll be turned in, got it?" He growled, standing up and leaving. I left soon after him, keeping my head down and walking around aimlessly. Thoughts were whirling around in my head - was I really going to have to kill Shoto's dad? No, I couldn't do that - was I going to have to be turned in and killed for my crimes?
I realised I had walked subconsciously to the cliffs Shoto and I walked along when he first came to visit me, and I also saw I was not alone. Further along the cliff edge stood Shoto, looking out towards the ocean view. "Shoto? I thought you went back to the castle-," I called out to him but I froze when I saw what he was holding. He turned towards me, the crumpled bit of parchment showing. He looked as though he had tears in his eyes as he held it up, my wanted poster looking back at me.
"What the hell is this?" He whispered in a scarily low voice.
"I-I-,"
"This has to be a mistake," he growled. I couldn't lie to him, however I currently couldn't say anything as my throat had gone completely dry. "You're- you're an assassin... you've killed people for money... you're a murderer!" He shouted.
"N-no, Shoto, please, I-,"
"NO! I can't believe I ever loved you! You murder people and get paid for it! I never want to see you again," he shouted, mounting his horse before I could stop him.
"S-Shoto please!" I cried loudly, clinging onto his foot that was in the stirrup. He wiped his eyes harshly before kicking his horse and galloping away. I crumbled on the spot, my heart breaking in two and knowing now that I didn't care if I was handed in and beheaded.
The next day I went back to the tavern as instructed and saw the man sitting at the same table, this time surrounded by a few more people. Trudging my feet along I sat in the seat opposite them all and slouched in the chair. "Well, you're here, looks like you want to-,"
"No."
There was silence. "I'm sorry... 'no'?" He asked and I kept quiet, confirming my answer. "Hm, well this is interesting."
"Just hand me in already," I huffed, my voice sounding completely hollow.
"Oh believe me we will. But first we will make you pay for not accepting our offer," he growled, placing a piece of parchment face down in front of me. I furrowed my eyebrows, the group of them getting up and leaving the tavern. I had no clue what they meant by making me pay, that was until I flipped over the parchment and saw Shoto's portrait on there. They must've followed me and saw us talking yesterday.
Quicker then I ever had done before I got up and ran, ran back to my treehouse to retrieve my bow and arrows. I had to kill them, each and every one of them before they got anywhere near Shoto. The annoying thing was however, that I had no clue where they'd be. My best guess would be that they were heading to the castle, so I immediately headed in that direction, running as quickly as I could. I was light on my feet so I was barely making any sound, hoping that I could sneak up on them and take them all by surprise.
Suddenly however I stopped in my tracks as I heard deep crying nearby. I recognised where I was; I was near the waterfall I always went swimming in. I followed the water, stopping behind a large group of trees and peering through a small gap. On one of the rocks sat Shoto in his blue tunic, his head in his hands as he scrunched up his hair. My heart broke at the sight, I just wanted to run up and kiss him but I knew he wouldn't want to see me. His horse lingered in the background, looking at Shoto.
Out the corner of my eye I suddenly spotted a dark figure with jet black hair and I recognised him to be one of the goons from the tavern. He had a crossbow in his hand, and he was aiming it at Shoto, Shoto not even noticing. Before I could stop myself I ran out, drew my arrow and shot it towards the man, him falling straight to the floor.
Shoto lifted his head quick enough to see what I had done, his eyes wide as he stared at me. I stood in front of him protectively, scanning the area for the others. Just out the corner of my eye I saw one peak their head out form behind a tree, and before he could hide again there was an arrow in his head. "(y/n)," Shoto mumbled behind me. I turned and shot another, them falling to the ground in a painful cry.
I was about to shoot my arrow at another who had appeared from behind a tree, however there was a rustle behind me and as I turned my head I saw one running towards me with their sword raised. My eyes widened as he was about to strike, however the hit never came. Instead there was a clash of metals, and Shoto stood there with his sword blocking his from hitting me. He had fire in his eyes, and pushed the man backwards, preparing himself for a sword fight.
"Don't you dare touch her," Shoto growled at the man. My heart flipped in my chest but I couldn't watch them as I had to shoot down those who still lingered behind the trees. It didn't take me long, however as I turned to see Shoto I saw he was not in a good position. The villain had knocked Shoto's sword from his hand and now had his own sword up against Shoto's throat. Without thinking, I raised my bow and fired my arrow with great precision straight into the villains face. He fell to the ground with a loud thud, Shoto breathing heavily as the sword that was against his throat fell also.
There was an awkward silence between us as we stared. I dropped my bow, the guilt of my crimes weighing me down and knowing that it'd be best for everyone if I was just to be handed in. "It's okay Shoto. You can take me in. I deserve it, I deserve to be imprisoned, and probably beheaded- mmph!"
Lips suddenly crashed onto mine, catching me completely off guard. I breathed in quickly, my eyes ever widening as I saw the familiar scar up close. His eyes were shut, his hands were cupping my cheeks, caressing them sweetly.
"I'm sorry (y/n)," he whispered. "There is absolutely no way I am handing you in either," he added, wrapping his arms around me. I hid my head in his chest, clinging onto his clothing.
"B-but you were right, I-I'm a murderer-,"
"No you're not! I mean - well - yes you've killed people but I asked around about you yesterday, and people told me about you. You were the one who killed that Earl who was abusing his family, you were the one who killed the tax collector who kidnapped families children when they couldn't afford the taxes, you were the one who killed that Duke who was raping all those women-,"
"Stop it, please Shoto, I know I'm no better then those people-,"
"Are you kidding? (y/n), you're an amazing person, you've saved so many lives by taking out these people. A-and you just saved my life. (y/n), please, I'm the one who should be sorry," he said, still clinging onto me. "Don't ever think of yourself as a bad person, okay?"
"Y-you really think I'm good?" I mumbled into his chest.
"Of course I do... I wouldn't of fallen in love with you if I didn't think so," he mumbled, kissing my head. I looked up at him quickly.
"Y-you still love me?" I asked, gobsmacked.
"Of course I do... do you still love me?" He asked tentatively and I nodded my head frantically. We were drawn into each other quickly, our lips pressing against each others romantically. It was the best kiss we had shared yet, our lips moving against each others perfectly as my heart beat excelled with happiness. We were both smiling broadly as we parted, looking at each other as though hypnotised. "Come back to the castle with me. I want you to live there with me."
"HUH?"
"We can keep you safe, and I want to be with you (y/n)," he whispered lovingly.
"B-but what about all the posters?"
"I'll be able to sort them, trust me," he smiled. I returned his smile, nodding my head.
"Okay."

"Mummy I want a go!" Our four year old son, Hiroto, complained as he watched me teach our six year old daughter Rio how to shoot a bow and arrow.
"I know you do but you'll have to wait until you're five like your sister did," I said and he huffed, sulking. The newly appointed king, and my husband, walked over to us with a smile on his face.
"Daddy! Tell mummy that as I'm the prince I demand a go!" Hiroto said, stomping his foot.
"Hiroto you're going to have to follow the rules, you know you can't shoot a bow and arrow until you're five," Shoto sighed.
"How were the meetings?" I asked my handsome husband.
"Pretty standard," he said, leaning in a kissing me gently.
"EW! Mummy and daddy are kissing!" Hiroto screeched making both Shoto and I laugh.
"Oh Hiroto, grow up," Rio scoffed.
"I am grown up!" Hiroto retorted, and so began another one of their sibling arguments which Shoto and I had to spend ages trying to resolve. This was such an unbelievably perfect life however, and I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world. I was happy.
