Dragon (Kiribaku)
Kirishima gasped for air as he trampled through the forest, breaking sticks and crunching leaves as he scrambled forward. Smoke flitted away from his body as he launched himself behind a tree and hid.
He had finally broken free from his captors, but they would not let him go so easily. The dense forest that surrounded Kirishima also prevented him from transforming into a dragon, where he would be u stoppable.
He held his breath as he heard the men approaching, and his heart raced as he saw the flames of their torches. He had to find a way out of this and fast, or else he was going back to the kingdom of doom and despair.
He heard some yelling that came from the opposite direction. He carefully poked his head out and watched as a man, with three people behind him, screamed at the guards, using words Kirishima couldn't hear.
Even if the red head was half dragon, he knew how humans showed off their status. This man wore a long fluffy, fur, which was a symbol of royalty in a few kingdoms.
Kirishima held his breath when he realized he was in the Bakugou Kingdom, also known as the barbarian kingdom. The guards seemed to be distracted by the king challenging them, so Kirishima readied himself.
When there was enough noise covering him, he lurched forward and continued to run. He made it a few yards before something hard slammed into his side and pinned him down.
A blonde with a black streak running through his hair examined Kirishima, not speaking as he did so. There was a certain aura and look to him that made Kirishima trust him immediately. This one wouldn't let him get killed.
"I caught one!" The blonde yelled.
The king seemed to stop arguing with the guards, sending them home with strong words and a finger in the air. He marched over to his friend angrily and stared down at Kirishima.
Granted, Kirishima looked gross. He had cuts along his arms and a new cut above his eye. His hair fell in awkward places and the smoke had attached to his body, making him look like some sort of cow.
"Who the hell are you? Are you with them?" The king growled and leaned down towards the captive.
Kirishima quickly shook his head.
"Can't you speak?" The kind demanded, getting closer to Kirishima's face.
Kirishima could feel the anger radiating off of him. He was afraid that this king would hurt him just as the other had. He still didn't have enough room to transform, but he was getting nervous. He was a cornered wild animal.
As soon as Kirishima was about to answer, he heard the yelling of guards and watched as they burst through the trees. The blonde man who had captured him stepped in front of him, hiding Kirishima from the enemies.
"How many times do I have to tell you? Get the hell out of my land or you'll have a war on your hands!"
"We are looking for the dragon-man," a guard stated, trying to bow and show some respect to the king.
Kirishima held his mouth closed when Bakugou kicked at the guard. "I didn't see anything and I don't know anything. Now get out before I light your face on fire and burn down your kingdom."
With that, the guards finally took the hint and high tailed it out of there. Bakugou turned to look at Kirishima with a smirk on his face.
"Dragon?"
Kirishima nodded.
A black haired man spoke up from behind the king. "Bakugou, we can't just keep him here. They'll come back-"
"Shut up, soy sauce." The king and his friends went silent. "How about a deal, sh*tty hair?"
Kirishima made a face. "Our hair is not that different."
"Wow! He speaks. F*cking finally. Anyways, we duel. You win, and then you're free. I win? You're my personal servant and weapon."
The pink haired girl gasped. "Bakugou! He's a person! You can't-"
"Deal," the red head stood up and shakily wiped the dirt off of his body.
The two men set the ground rules and readied themselves within the set perimeters. Kirishima had two small daggers connected to his belt, so he took one in each hand and tried not to worry. The king held a sword and had a devilish smirk. Between the two of them, Kirishima was sure you'd guess Bakugou was the dragon.
The man with black hair commenced the duel and Bakugou charged forward, using his long range weapon to his advantage. Kirishima ducked and flicked Bakugou's sword up with his dagger. He dodged and spun around, now ending up behind Bakugou.
Bakugou's foot quickly met Kirishima's chest, and he gasped in surprise. He stopped himself before standing back up and assuming a fight position once again. This time, Kirishima lunged forward, aiming for a blow on Bakugou's shoulder. The king caught him and threw the dragon onto the ground.
Before Bakugou could pin him down and officially win, Kirishima rolled up and kicked dust in the kings face. The blonde sputtered backwards and cursed, and Kirishima launched himself into the man's stomach.
Kirishima then went to place his dagger under Bakugou's chin, a sign of victory, but he was shocked when the king simply slapped one of his daggers out of the red heads hands. Kirishima fumbled for the other one while Bakugou shoved them both up and pinned Kirishima down, using his sword to tilt Kirishima's chin up.
"I win," the blonde sneered.

Kirishima was now a servant and civilian of the Bakugou kingdom for a week or two. It wasn't all bad, but there were times when he despised it.
He was made to do tasks, mainly heavy lifting as he was well built and Sero, the black haired man, and Kaminari, the second blonde, were always in need of help.
He also almost never left the king's side. It was annoying. The only time Kirishima seemed to get a break from the screaming was when he stayed up all night guarding the kingdom. Because why have regular, trained men do it when you have a dragon?
Kirishima helped Mina, the pink haired woman, carry some food down to stores in the village. The king had gone somewhere, not telling them much more than that. The red head huffed as he picked up another bag of wheat and put it on his back. He was carrying about seven bags, and his arms, back, and shoulders were straining.
The two carried the food down to the village and set it in the kitchen of one of the bakeries. The baker thanked them both profusely when disaster struck, and they hear Kaminari and Sero yelling outside.
Kirishima was the first to act. When he ran outside and into the main square, he stared in horror as he saw many men, carrying weapons, marching closer. There were catapults, and what scared Kirishima most, nets.
It didn't surprise the red head that Bakugou, yelling furiously, was marching up to the first man in line and demanding to know what was happening.
That's when they launched the first fireball.
The citizens screamed, and those who couldn't fight scrambled for cover. Siblings and neighbors grabbed each other by the hand and ran as fast as they could to the palace, which was the place furthest from the attack and therefore the safest.
Bakugou, Sero, and Kaminari charged into battle. Sero and Kaminari were royal guards, so their combat skill was almost unmatched. They each flanked Bakugou and took on two men at a time, skillfully disarming them and knocking them unconscious.
Kirishima still couldn't move. Because they had come back.
Mina was hurrying everyone towards the palace, shouting out orders and making sure everything was going as relatively smoothly as possible. She grabbed onto Kirishima's arm.
"You're fighting or going. Come on!" She yanked him.
Some adults who were able bodied and young, or strong, were now taking up their own weapons and joining their king in battle. To the outside they were savages, but Bakugou had simply made sure his people were ready to defend themselves at a moments notice. And thank god he did.
Kirishima stood frozen and watched in horror as a man from the opposing side gained on Bakugou, tackling him to the ground and raising his knife.
It felt like Kirishima blinked and everything changed. The attacking army gasped and screamed in shock. The red head noticed how tall he seemed, and the smoke coming from his body. Then he knew.
He charged forward, knocking the man off of Bakugou and continuing on. Now the red head was excited. He was finally able to fight for something he believed in!
He used his tail and large front legs to knock enemies to the ground, not wanting to kill anyone. A few men charged at him but he simply lowered his head and let out a roar.
Within seconds the army was gone.
With a quick shake of his body, Kirishima was surrounded in smoke and now in human form. However, he was shocked with how much that had taken out of him and he collapsed to the ground.
But Bakugou caught him.
"Thanks, or whatever, I guess..." the king muttered as he helped Kirishima regain his balance.

Kirishima yawned as they continued walking, adjusting the pack on his back. He had been with the king and his friends for six months now. Ever since the attack, the king had respected and trusted his so called servant. Kirishima thought they were friends now, and he was very excited at that thought.
They were making their way to a witch's house in order to get some medicine for the winter. Kaminari and Mina were in the lead, followed by Sero, then Bakugou, and Kirishima brought up the rear.
The moon was shining high in the sky and Mina started to groan.
"Can we stop? We've walked so far today I think my legs are gonna fall off!"
"Fine," the king sighed. "Set up camp. I'll go get us wood, Kirishima can start a fire."
The four nodded and started to unravel their makeshift tents. Kirishima and Seri help set up the tops of them while Kaminari and Mina worked on getting the bases done and secure.
"Kiri!" Kaminari smiled at his now close friend. "I say you and I get the witch to make us some sort of potion to make us all drunk. Like alcohol but worse!"
Kirishima laughed and smiled. "If I'm drunk who's dragging your ass out of all of your problems?"
The four continued to banter for a while until Bakugou came back with a pile of leaves and sticks. He set them down and the friends stood back as Kirishima quickly turned into a dragon and used his breath to light a fire for the group.
After he was done, he transformed back and wrapped himself in a cloak. He was on guard duty, as usual, and he propped himself up against a rock as everyone around him went to sleep.
Kirishima smiled as he felt the cold air nip at his nose. He smelt the leaves in the air and felt peaceful. He had always loved the fall. It was perfect weather. He watched the tree line closely, his advanced eyesight helping him.
But three hours into his watch, Kirishima started to drift off. The scent was lulling him into a sleep, and he couldn't resist. Until the leaves crunched next to him.
The red head jumped up and got his dagger ready, aiming it at the assumed attacker. Bakugou just scoffed and gently nudged the knife out of the way.
"Go get some sleep, sh*t face."
Kirishima tilted his head. This never happened. "You sure, man? I'm all good, I can-"
"F*cking go before I change my mind." Bakugou sat down in Kirishima's old spot and stared away from the dragon, searching the woods for movement.
Kirishima didn't argue more and sat down outside to sleep. He hasn't brought a tent, and he loved sleeping under the stars anyways. It made him feel loved and comfortable.
Kirishima was certainly surprised when he woke up and felt something underneath his head. He was even more surprised when he woke up and saw he was laying in Bakugou's leg. And Bakugou was asleep.
The red head wanted to panic and scream. His face was burning up and the sight of Bakugou sleeping so close to him was making his stomach churn. He had had these types of thoughts before- like how great Bakugou looked in his warrior outfit- but that didn't mean anything.
Bakugou started to stir so Kirishima quickly returned to the position he was in. Since he didn't know what to do, he was just gonna let the king sort it out. After all, he was the one that fell asleep on the job.
As Kirishina fake slept, he listened for any conversations that may happen.
Bakugou woke up with a yawn and didn't notice the red head yet. When he did, however, he made no attempt to shove the half dragon off of him. Instead, his fingers gently played with Kirishima's hair, and Kirishima was pretty sure he melted right then and there. Bakugou's touch was so delicate, and surprisingly kind, that Kirishima wished he had done this more often.
Mina was the first one to come out of her tent. She went to greet the king when she saw the scene and squealed out of joy.
"Shut the f*ck up! You're gonna wake him up!" Bakugou whisper-yelled at his friend.
"This is too cute!" The pink one continued on as she made her way over to the two boys. She was about to say something when Sero exited his tent.
"What's happen- woah! Bakugou, did you tell him?"
Bakugou's face was getting redder and redder by the second. "Shut the hell up!" Was basically the only argument he could muster. "And no I didn't tell him because there's nothing to say!"
"So, youre saying, you're not gay for this guy whatsoever and you didn't come to me so angry after you realized and talked about his dumb smile and jokes for an hour?"
"I don't like him! He's just- j-just a friend you idiot!"
Kirishima was blushing ever so slightly. He was glad it was sunrise, so the group couldn't tell. Yet, throughout all this teasing, Bakugou still kept his hands running through the red hair, gently and surely.
***
One year had passed since Kirishima had joined the group and to say the least, something was definitely bound to happen between the two.
It felt so awkward but so right to be near one another. And Kirishima would always make these terrible attempts at flirting, but they always got Bakugou to blush. Bakugou seemed to only listen to Kirishina, so the friend groups often counted on the red head when they needed or wanted Bakugou to do something.
"Bakubro!" Kirishima called as he walked into the throne room.
"I'm working, dumb hair," Bakugou's head was down in papers, reading letters from other kingdoms and making notes of them in a large book.
"Okay but as soon as youre done, I found this hiking trail when I was flying and doing patrol! I can fly you over it! It looks pretty cool, and it's unclaimed so maybe we can put some structures near there and make it a path to connect to the kingdom!" He smiled.
Bakugou sighed and thought. "Okay, fine, but let me finish this first you idiot."
Kirishima gave him a big thumbs up before he headed out into the towns square. He was so welcomed and friendly here thay he sometimes helped with training, as he was so nimble and quick that even Bakugou had trouble defeating him at times.
Kirishima joined in the training, taking on a young woman who was excelling very quickly. She had short, brown hair, and large, determined eyes. One of her strategies was that she was so quiet, she was practically invisible, and she disappeared from the opponents eyes.
Kirishima smiled and readied his dagger. She had on a protective outfit, so she was able to be hit without getting hurt. Kirishima charged first, aiming for her dominant arm and take her out.
She was quick, and fainted right before going left, tripping Kirishima and chopping him in the back of the neck. Kirishima fell but quickly recovered, kicking dust up in her face and grabbing into her leg. She grunted and kicked at him, which knocked one of his daggers out of his hand.
Kirishima got up and tried to take the woman's sword, but she kicked him in the stomach and quickly shot up, ready to fight. Kirishima smirked as they used their respective weapons to battle. The woman was lucky, as she had the king distance weapon and didn't have to be so close to the red head to land a hit. Kirishima made sure that her sword was at an awkward angle before taking it away and cornering her.
"Good match, Hakagure. You've really improved," the instructor said.
Kirishima bowed to his opponent and turned around to see Bakugou staring intently at him.
"F*cking finally. Let's go," he headed towards the entrance of the camp.
"Do you want me to fly us? Or walk? Either way works for me, man."
Bakugou grumbled. "Just walk is fine. You're gonna faint if we fly."
Kirishima nudged the king with his elbow. "Aw, don't tell me youre worried."
Bakugou turned his face to the side. "Tch. Whatever."
The trail was long and isolated. Neither of the men could ignore how their shoulders or hands would brush as they were walking way too close together. Kirishima jumped at every small crack of twigs, and Bakugou seemed ready to fight-or maybe even defend the red head- at any moment.
"Okay okay okay. You ready man? This is such a cool scene!" The red head smiled one of those blinding ones, they always made Bakugou feel strange.
Bakugou shrugged and mumbled as Kirishima covered his eyes.
"What the hell?" Bakugou didn't fight back.
"It's a surprise!" Kirishima chirped.
When Bakugou was able to see, he was stunned. They stood on a cliff over looking a valley, which contained lakes and flowers and felt like a dream.
Kirishima smiled again. "Isn't it gorgeous? I think this is like where the old dragons used to live, look wise."
Bakugou was still staring, but now at Kirishima. How the light reflecting from the lake reflected onto his cheeks and made him look more masculine- more handsome. How his smile never faltered. How his eyes were filled with pure joy.
Bakugou loved the sight of it.
"What did you wanna do with this place?" Bakugou turned his head back to the scene.
"I wanna claim it! That is, if you can." He smiled nervously and for quiet. "It reminds me of my mom's home."
That was all Bakugou needed. The small, quiet side of Kirishima. His past. His passion for this place. Bakugou had made up his mind. He quickly took sticks from the forest and marked this new territory as he had with all the others.
"Fly us down there so I can mark it too," he commanded. But his tone was soft and so were his eyes.
Kirishima smiled before being overtaken by smoke. The large, red dragon poked it head out towards Bakugou, who gently nuzzled him quickly before giving him a pat on the neck. The king hopped onto the beast and it took only seconds for them to fly down.
When Kirishima transformed, he once again collapsed. But Bakugou caught him. The blonde continued to mark this place with his symbol as Kirishima explored more, staying near the water and the field of flowers.
They had been there for hours but they didn't care.
Bakugou and Kirishima sat in the field of flowers, watching the sun slowly start to fall. Their fingers grazed over the others as their hands inched closer and closer together.
Both their faces were on fire. And both of their stomachs were filled with butterflies.
Kirishima went to stand up when the sun had finally set, but something pulled him back down. Bakugou quickly kissed the red head before anything could be said.
When the blonde had pulled away, he went to say something but was again caught off by the red head now making the first move.
The kisses were sweet and loving. After all, the two had been pining after one another for months on end.
Kirishima smiled sheepishly. "I've known you liked me ever since that trip to Uraraka's hut. I was awake while the others teased you."
Bakugou scowled before gently kissing Kirishima one more time. "You suck."

The kings sat on their thrones, holding hands over the arm rests and staring at the guest who had just now entered the castle.
There was a legend king ago that when you fall in love with a dragon, you fall hard. Their eyes draw you in and you get lost in them. You can't bear to be apart for more than minutes at a time. And you are truly, deeply in love. Every kiss makes you soar and your heart flutter. It's a beautiful and dangerous thing.
"Deku," Bakugou sighed and squeezed his husband's hand.
"Your majesties, I need your help. To defeat an enemy."
Kirishima smirked at his lover with determination in his eyes.
It didn't matter what the challenge was, because the two always rode in together and fought together.
Because it was destiny.
