Riki is the son of Tomura Shigaraki and Dabi/ Touya Todoroki. His mind is actually set to be a hero but his parents think otherwise. This cause a huge rift and Riku, with the help of Shigaraki and Toga, he went to live with The Midoriya.

This cause paranoia and anxiety inside him, cause him to start to scratch his body hard. The scratches made his skin burn up, causing burnt areas on his body.

He also is the 9th or 10th inheritor of One for All, when he accidentally ate Izuku's hair, which fell into his food and he didn't notice.

Now he has hallucinations of old One for All inheritors, Such as All Might, who, along with Izuku guide him with this new quirk of his.
