And the rescue field training is a go! Or, at least it would've been if our new villain group hadn't shown up! Yes, already our new heroes come face to face with real villains. And my, will these villains bring much to the table. You'll see very soon. Also, we got to meet a few more students from class 2! Amelia, Kira, and Anne were all created by NicoandHades and Kittiowolf210, my two partners in crime for this story! They've both been a great help so far making arcs and other quirks and they haven't stopped yet. Now, let's get back into the story with a different side of things from where we left off. Enjoy!

-POV: Phobos- -Ten Minutes Earlier-

"Let's see..... According to the map, the person we're supposed to find is just ahead, maybe 200 meters." Amelia said as she went over the map for like the 20th time. By now, the sun was going down, which meant we weren't getting back by dinner like Wrath Queen said we might.

"Good. I'm starting to get a little tired. It'll be nice to have a bit of a rest." I said as Amelia agreed with me. 

"I know what you mean. The terrain in this national park is ruthless. My feet feel mangled." She said as I felt the same. So we were kinda praying we could take a break once we found the target.

"There should be a small gap in the trees just ahead of us. That's where the target's supposed to be." She said as we could see it from where we were. But, we couldn't see anyone standing in. 

"Oh god, is this not the right spot?" I questioned as we came to the small clearing. While we couldn't see anyone, there were clear signs someone had been here. There were two different sets of footprints on the ground.

"They must be somewhere close by. Come on, let's take a look around." Amelia said but suddenly, we began to hear a loud cracking sound come from around us.

"What the heck is-" I tried to ask as I turned to see a huge tree falling over at us. 

"Look out!" Amelia shouted as she shoved me away and turned her body to diamond before getting crushed by the falling tree. 

"Amelia, no!" I screamed as I ran over and saw she was thankfully still alive. In fact, it looked like she didn't take any damage thanks to her diamond skin. 

"Hold on, i'm gonna get you out of this." I said to her but she stopped me. 

"Don't worry about it, I can get out of this myself." She told me as she propped her hands underneath the tree and slowly lifted it up. 

"Damn.... durable and strong...." I said in awe as she slipped herself from under the tree and stood up, turning her skin back to normal in the process.

"Crap, that tree damaged my oxygen tank. It's got some cracks in it." Amelia said as she took it off her back. It was practically useless now that all the oxygen was leaking out. But I was more concerned with something else. Like why did that tree suddenly fall?

"I think something's very wrong with all this, Amelia. First off, our target isn't here. And second, I don't think it's a coincidence that this tree fell on us." I said to her as she looked utterly surprised. 

"You think someone deliberately tried to kill us there?" She questioned as we now heard some nearby bushes rustling. We both looked forward and saw a woman come out. She was definitely older than both of us, maybe in her late 20's. She had long red hair on the right side f her head and was bald on the left side. She had green eyes and wore a blue sweater, black jeans and brown boots.

"Ding, ding, ding! You both nailed the answer! And who tried to kill you two? Why me, of course!" The woman said as we both saw she had blood on her hands. 

"And just who the hell are you and what the hell are you doing here? I'm sure you're not part of our training mission." I asked her as she gave us a nod. 

"Me and my pals came here to make our first big move on society. You see, last year over in Japan, there was this group known as the "League of Villains."" The woman began to explain. 

"Yeah, we've heard of them. A bunch of no good crooks who got what they deserved." Amelia said. 

"Wrong! They all consisted of people who were wronged by the world and were cast off because they were forgotten or that they were different! In time, they gathered a whole army of followers just like them, but it still wasn't enough for them to achieve their goal at destroying the hero society! They were beaten, and all they wanted to do was make our society stronger by making it so we didn't have to rely so much on heroes!" The woman shouted with anger. 

"They tried to make it stronger by killing thousands of people! That doesn't make a world stronger, that makes it afraid!" I said to her as the woman clenched her fists tightly. 

"The league may be gone, but their impact lives on with us! We of the Injustice Squad will succeed where the League failed! I am Daina and it's my mission to bring absolute chaos and destruction, starting with you kids from P.H academy! Because the best way to destroy the hero society is to take down its future!" The woman roared with pride as she began to approach us. At this point, we could easily assume she'd killed the person we originally came here to find. That's probably why she has blood all over her hands. 

"You and your little club won't be doing jack shit! Cause we're about to take you down right now!" I shouted as I raised my arms up and started producing my black flames. 

"Hold her off for a couple seconds, Phobos! We've gotta let Wrath Queen know we're in trouble!" Amelia said as she pulled out our flare gun. 

"Eat this, villain!" I yelled as I unleashed a geyser of fire right at Daina. In response, she raised up her right hand and held it flat in front of her. 

"Let's hope she gets here quickly!" Amelia said as she held the flare gun straight up into the air and fired. The flare soared high above the trees, but at the same time we also saw a second flare appear from the North. Where Josh and Kira went.

"My, my, it looks like the boss has found some of the other kiddies too. They won't last long, and neither will you two." We heard Daina say as I briefly stopped shooting flames to see if i'd damaged her. But, when the smoke cleared, we could see her shrinking my flames as they came in contact with her hand. They just got smaller and smaller until they literally disappeared. 

"That didn't work at all? Seriously?" I questioned as Daina did nothing but laugh at my failed attempt to attack her. 

"Boy, you've got a lot to learn. Specifically, firepower alone won't be enough to take down this chick. And that little crystal trick you've got won't do much help for you either. So come at me already so I can kill you." Daina said to us as she taunted us to attack her. 

"That quirk.... it kinda looked like she absorbed my flames, but I can't tell for sure." I said as Daina obviously head me and then shook her head. 

"Wrong! My quirk isn't anything like that. But, since you two are gonna be dead soon, I guess it won't hurt to tell you what I can do. My quirk is called "Squash." With it, anything that comes in contact with my hands, I can crush and condense until it's the size of mere atoms. It doesn't matter what it's made out of, I can reduce anything that tries to hurt me." Daina explained which meant she just turned those huge flames into one little spark. 

"You can reduce his flames, but can you squash a literal diamond!?" Amelia shouted as she took a deep breath and turned her skin into the sparkly gemstone. She then ran for Daina who kept on moving closer to us. 

"Only one way to find out, girl! Come to die!" Daina yelled as she stopped, planted her feet on the ground and held both of her hands out. Amelia rammed right into her but the moment she touched her, Daina made contact with her hands and Amelia was beginning to shrink fast. And worst of all, Amelia's diamond skin was cracking, meaning her body was being crushed as well. 

"Aaaahhhh!!! Let go, it hurts!!" Amelia screamed as I started running for Daina, still with my arms covered in flames.

"Get your hands off of her, bitch! I'll kill you!" I roared as I swung my left fist at Daina. She saw me coming though and let go of Amelia to jump away. And, when she removed her hands, Amelia grew back to normal size but fell over in pain. 

"Kill me, eh? That doesn't sound very hero-like!" Daina said to me as we stood off, facing each other down to see who was going to make the first move.

"That doesn't matter right now! You've turned this from our time to train into a time of survival! And I for one plan to survive!" I said to her with determination and rage as Daina looked down to her left and saw a small boulder sitting close to her. She reached down and touched it with her hand, the boulder shrinking enough for her to pick it up. 

"Hero or not, you ain't making it out of this forest alive!!" Daina shouted as she tossed the tiny boulder at me, it growing back to normal when she let go of it. 

"Oh shit!" I shouted as I dove out of the way before it could hit me. I landed on my chest and rolled over onto my back but Daina was right there standing over me. She reached down with her hands to touch me but I rolled away before she could. 

"Get over here, brat! It won't take long, just a few seconds! All your bones and internal organs will be squished into paste while you're still alive and then you'll watch as I crush you in my grip!" Daina said to me as she stomped down on my chest the moment I rolled over onto my back again. 

"Now, die!" She yelled as she reached down to attack me. 

"Not today, bitch!" I shouted as I reached up and grabbed her wrists, pushing them away from me so she couldn't touch me with her hands. 

"You're really getting on my nerves, kid! You're only gonna make things worse for you!" Daina said as she was slowly moving her hands closer to me, overpowering my own strength. 

"I'd say it's the other way around! If you don't stop right now, then it's just gonna get worse for you! Just like this!" I shouted as I ignited my hands in my flames. They began to burn away at Daina's wrists and she screamed in pain as she yanked herself away from me, giving me time to stand up again. 

"You fucking bastard!" Daina screamed as she held her wrists. Meanwhile, I readied to attack her again by raising up my arms, but it quickly turned out that they weren't needed. 

"We may just be students, but that doesn't mean we aren't heroes already!" Amelia roared as she came running into view and delivered a diamond punch right to Daina's face. She sent Daina flying into a tree and somehow she was able to stay standing. 

"Oh great..... now you're back up...." Daina said as she spit up some blood and what looked like two teeth. 

"You squashed me a bit and I can feel this massive pain inside my chest area. I've no doubt that you broke some of my ribs. But I can take the pain better than anyone so long as I stay in my diamond form! Time for me to settle the score!" Amelia said as she rushed for Daina. 

"Not unless I get you in another hold! One touch and that's all she wrote for your stubborn ass!" Daina said as she reached out to touch Amelia. But, as she very nearly made contact with her hands, Amelia ducked underneath them and came back up behind Daina. Then, she grabbed her arms and held them to Daina's sides and made her face me. 

"Now, Phobos! Torch us!" Amelia shouted as I understood what she was doing. If she's in her diamond form, then my flames will have little effect against her. 

"This is for ruining our training mission, damn villain!" I roared as I unleashed a huge stream of flames that engulfed the two girls. I could hear Daina wailing from within as I kept up my assault, only stopping when I believed it was enough. 

When the smoke cleared, I could see Daina laying on the ground, her clothes burning, parts of her skin charred and her barely moving. Amelia had been blown back and was leaning against a tree, not in her diamond form anymore but looking fine. But she also looked completely worn out and her chest area looked red a bit. I was sure she'd received some form of internal bleeding from being nearly crushed by Daina.

"Time to end this...." I said as I marched over to Daina and picked her up by her neck with my left hand. I held her out in front of me as I ignited my entire right arm, holding it near her face.

"No.... stop..... please don't...." Daina pleaded weakly but she was far past any mercy being given to her. 

"It's too late for you. You came here, killed an innocent life, interrupted a Persevering Heights academy training mission, and even attempted to kill us students. You've crossed the line more than once. And I believe you're too dangerous to be left alive. So i'll make sure you never reign terror ever again!" I said as I moved my right hand closer to her face. 

"Please, no! I was only following orders! I didn't mean to kill anyone or hurt you guys, I swear!" Daina pleaded as she tried to break free from my grip. But I was never going to let go. 

"Turn to ashes...." I said but before I could place my hand on her face, Amelia ran over and tackled me, making me let go of Daina. 

"What the hell is wrong with you!? Were you trying to kill her!?" Amelia furiously asked me. 

"We have no choice! She's done too much damage! That wasn't just a fight to win, it was a fight to survive! In order to survive, you have to get rid of the opposition, otherwise they'll come back to haunt you in the future!" I shouted into her face. 

"You're trying to be a hero for god's sake! Heroes do not take lives, no matter what! If you'd killed her, then you wouldn't be better than any of the villains lurking in this world!" Amelia screamed into my face as she delivered a slap to my right cheek. She then got off of me and helped me stand up. 

"I'm sorry for that, but you need to learn that heroes have fine lines too that we shouldn't cross." She told me as I just lowered my head and sighed. 

"No, you're right. I.... I just got too into all the fighting and cracked under all the pressure. What I tried to do..... it wasn't right. Now, let's get this bitch and take her to Wrath Queen." I said as Amelia agreed with me. But, when we turned to face Daina, she wasn't where we left her. We started to look around and I managed to see her running off deeper into the forest.

"Over there! She's heading North!" I said as we both took off after her.

"Since she's headed North, that must mean she's trying to regroup with these "pals" she mentioned before. Which means if we don't hurry, then Josh and Kira will be in even more trouble than before. I just hope Wrath Queen saw the flares and went to theirs first. 

-POV: Josh, 10 Minutes Earlier-

Me and Kira had just made it to our destination. Just like on the map, we'd come to a lake. But there was no one to be found here at all. 

"This is indeed the right place but the target's not here. Think they might've went for a dip in the water?" I suggested but Kira shook her head. 

"Don't think so. They would've at least taken some of their clothes off and left them on the shore. But there's no signs anywhere. It's like they just vanished." Kira said as suddenly, someone came walking up from behind us and just passed us to stand about 10ft ahead. This person was a well built man, tall, with white and black hair, a black jacket with a white undershirt, black pants and white shoes. 

"No, they didn't vanish. I arrived here shortly after your target did and killed them. Crushed him into oblivion." The man said as Kira, without even thinking, pulled out our flare gun. 

"Call for help if you'd like but the pro will never make it here in time. Neither of you two rest in the same ball park as someone like me. Try as you might to face me, but just know that you're certain to die if you do. But even if you don't and try to run away, you'll die regardless. After all, that's what we came here to do." The man said to us which made me curious. 

"We? Are you saying you're not the only one out here?" I asked him as he gave us a nod. 

"Where are my manners? I am the leader of a group of outcasts known as the "Injustice Squad." You may call me Markus Wheeler. Myself and my comrades, as I explained before, are outcasts in this heroic world of ours. We've all been forgotten and lost everything. And now we want to take back what's ours. This world. Just as the League of Villains did last year, we of the Injustice Squad plan to overthrow all of the hero society and recreate the world in our image. In order to make our world strong once more, we must first destroy it." He said to us as by now i'd heard enough. 

"So, you're a typical grade A asshole villain then. I understand it all perfectly. But I also know that you won't get your way. The villain never succeeds. And we're gonna ensure of it right now! Kira, do it!" I said as she shot the flare up into the sky. We just had to hope Wrath Queen saw it. 

"So, you've chosen to gamble on a pro hero getting here in time. Are you going to try and run so you can extend that timer? Or are you going to stay, fight me, and die?" Markus asked us as neither me nor Kira moved. 

"What kind of heroes would we be if we ran from a villain?" Kira said with intensity. 

"Good. I was hoping you'd choose to stay. Now, show me what you can do." Markus said as he cracked his knuckles and then stood there wide open for us to attack. 

"I'll take him first! Kira, follow me up!" I said as I charged Markus. I readied my right fist by reeling it back. But, as I approached him, I suddenly felt this extremely powerful force push against me and quickly blow me back against a nearby tree. 

"What..... how did he..... he didn't even move...." I said in disbelief as I had no idea what had happened.

"Well? I'm waiting." Markus said as Kira looked back at me for a moment, looking very worried. 

"Forget about me, i'm fine! Just take him down!" I said to her as she gave me a nod before activating her quirk. Kira quickly sank into the ground while simultaneously turning invisible. 

"Hmm.... seems the girl's going to be an annoying one. A shifter and a transparent. Quite a formidable combination of quirks, but still nothing I can't handle." Markus said as I regained my footing and began to charge him again. 

"Don't forget about me! I don't know what you did before but it won't work twice!" I shouted as I neared him again. And like before, that powerful force struck me but it didn't knock me away this time. Since my muscles could memorize the amount of force it had hit me with, it could now resist it better. 

"Well that's certainly interesting. I can see your muscles are physically changing after each blow you take, presumably making you stronger. But, no matter how strong you become, it won't be enough. My "Crush" quirk is going to annihilate you both!" Markus shouted as Kira suddenly appeared behind him, jumped up and then wrapped her arms around his neck, choking him a bit. The force blowing against me then disappeared as I was able to continue my push for Markus. 

"Annoying child! Even with a stealth quirk such as yours, it doesn't not grant you any power! Now get off of me!" Markus shouted as he reached up with both of his arms, pulled Kira off of him and then tossed her forward. 

"Hold on, I've got you!" I shouted as I had to jump up so I could grab her. I managed to snatch the back of her utility belt and bring her down with me and gently put her on her feet again. 

"Thanks for the save. But what're we supposed to do against him?" Kira asked me. 

"Don't know. He's clearly very physically strong even without his quirk. And his quirk, which he called Crush, I think it lets him make some sort of powerful force field around him within a certain range." I said as Kira agreed with me. And, it was clear that Markus overheard us as he began to chuckle a bit. 

"Well, at least you're on the right track, kid. I'll be kind and inform you of what I can do though. My Crush quirk allows me to generate an energy field around me that smashes anything that steps near me. I'm like a walking landslide." Markus explained as Kira suddenly began to think. 

"He can make a force around him? But, why didn't it affect me when I appeared behind him? I should've been blasted away like you were." She said which also made me curious. 

"Yeah, you're right. That really is odd, isn't it? I wonder....." I said as Markus began to approach us.

"I'm gonna test something out, but i'm gonna need you to distract him for me, Josh. Can you handle it?" Kira asked me as I gave her a nod. She then went transparent and sank into the ground again as I rushed Markus. I ran straight into his Crush quirk energy field but this time, it was even stronger than before. 

"Why is it so much more powerful now!?" I questioned as his quirk was making me slaide backwards on my feet. 

"What you felt before was the bare minimum that I can produce. I just amped it up by about 20% now, seeing as you were able to adjust to it before. Now, goodbye." Markus said as he whipped his right arm across his body and sent a pure white wave of energy into my chest. A loud *CRACK* filled the air as I screamed in pain. Markus had sent me flying and I hit my back hard against a tree. I landed on the ground on my side and Markus approached me, kneeling down to me when he got close. And seeing as he got so close to me, it was obvious he wasn't exerting his energy field anymore. 

"What i'm about to do to you and the other girl, I do it because I have to. Your deaths, as well as the other students out here will spark our revolution. And in time, you'll become a part of the reason why our world grew strong once more." Markus said as his right fist began to glow an intense shade of white. He was focusing his quirk there for one monstrous attack. 

"Josh, was it? I'm afraid this is go-" Markus tried to say as Kira suddenly jumped through the tree I laid against and latched onto his face. She made Markus stumble back a bit as he tried to remove her. But she was determined to not let go this time. 

"Josh, if you can get up, then I want you to attack us when Markus has his back turned!" Kira shouted as I tried everything to stand up. My chest felt like something was stabbing it, so I was sure some of my ribs broke and were puncturing my insides. 

"I'm not dying here.... no one is..... I am the man with no limits!" I roared with pure determination as I rose to my feet and turned to face the tree behind me. I grasped it with both of my hands and dug my fingers into the bark as I used every ounce of my strength to lift the tree out of the ground. 

"My, you're such an annoying child, girl! Get away from me!" I heard Markus shout as I looked over my shoulder to see him make his energy field again to repel Kira off of him. He began to march over to her as he condensed his quirk to his fist again. 

"Come on.... hurry up..... You've gotta save her!!" I shouted as my veins were nearly popping out of my skin at this point. But, with one last mighty pull, I lifted the entire tree out of the ground and turned to see Markus now standing over Kira. 

"If you're eager, then let you be the one to spark the revolution of the Injustice Squad!" Markus yelled as I began to swing the tree at him. And, as he began to bring down his fist, I smashed the trunk of the tree into his back and sent him flying into the lake. I then dropped the tree and ran over to Kira, still holding my chest as I was in a lot of pain. 

"That two I owe you now." Kira said as she stood up. 

"Just be glad that your theory was right. I'm pretty sure this guy can only make that energy field of his on his front side, now behind him." I said as Kira gave me a nod. 

"Do you think that blow was enough to knock him out?" Kira asked but I wasn't too sure. 

"I hope so. Because the attack he got me with before damaged my bod-" I began to say as I white beam shot out of the water and struck both me and Kira, sending us flying. We both landed on our backs next to each other and we looked forward to see Markus coming out of the lake, now looking more pissed off than ever. 

"You couldn't just lay their and die, could you? No. You two just had to resist and make this harder on yourselves. Before, I would've said that you're deaths would be on my hands, but now it's going to be on your own. I am going to make sure you both die painfully, excruciatingly. I want to make sure that the Pro hero out there hears your screams of agony as I take your miserable heroic lives." Markus said as he came up to us both and picked us up by our necks. 

"Go on, start s creaming before I strangle you!" Markus roared as he began to squeeze our necks tightly. I couldn't breath already and my own strength wasn't enough to break out of his grip. He was right, Markus was on a whole 'nother level than us. He's going to kill us. 

"Boss!" We heard someone new shout as Markus looked to his left and saw a man with scruffy brown hair run out. 

"Markus.... help!" Another person shouted as a girl with some burned skin and clothes ran out from his right. She had long red hair on one side of her head and she was bald on the other half. 

"What happened to you two!?" Markus asked them as they came over to us. 

"Those damn kids were stronger than we thought! And we saw them shoot their flares so we came here to back you up! Come on, hurry it up before the pro gets here!" The man with the brown hair said. 

"Where do you think you're going!?" I heard Harper shout as she and Ann came running out of the forest, followed by Phobos and Amelia on the other side of Markus. 

"The pro may not be here, but you led all of the kids here to us! Are you two so weak that you can't handle a couple of novice heroes!?" Markus questioned his friends as he threw me and Kira down on the ground in front of him. He then made both of his hands glow as he aimed them down at us. 

"This is how you kill a hero!!" Markus roared as he charged up his attacks to kill us. 

"No, Josh! Kira!!!" Amelia screamed in fear as none of our friends were close enough to help us. This was it. Me and Kira were going to die right now. 

But, mere moments before Markus unleashed his devastating attack, a huge fireball came flying into view and struck him dead centre in the chest. It sent him sliding backwards against his feet and burned away parts of the jacket he was wearing. Markus' friends ran over to back him up but he seemed to take the attack fairly well. And then, landing in front of me and Kira was our savior. Wrath Queen had arrived.

"I'll have you stop hurting my students now, villains. Unless you dare face my might." Wrath Queen said with eyes filled with pure rage. Her right flaming arm was burning brighter than normal, definitely a sign that she was pissed off. 

"Oh crap! Hey,no one ever said someone like her was their teacher! Markus, do you know who that is!?" The brown haired man asked with fear in his voice as Markus threw away his burning jacket and cracked his knuckles. 

"Yeah, I know her. Number 12 ranked hero in Japan, Wrath Queen. Specializes in villain take down and multi-terrain rescue operations. Quirk is "Wyvern," allowing for body transformation, and flame and venom creation and manipulation." Markus said. 

"My, someone's done their homework. But let's see if all that info you know about me helps you or not, shall we? You took oh so good care of my students on their first day out in the field. It's only natural that I return the favor." Wrath Queen said as Markus began to move in closer to her. 

"Daina, Shield, you two stay back. She's mine." He said to his friends as they gave him some nods. 

"Students, you all did well to handle these villains. But now, it's my turn to show you all how a real pro handles people like this. Watch closely!"
