And the top 4 is set! And boy, are these next two fights gonna be incredible!! Cry will face Bakugo in a rival battle for the ages, and it's far from the stomp you might think it is! In fact, the fight was so close that I was going back and forth on the winner for days! But before we get to those two, we have Phobos and Trini to deal with! This match up is certainly more interesting. How exactly will Phobos overpower and beat Trini? Of course, that's assuming he can at all! Trini's ESP has looked unbeatable so far, and even though Josh briefly exploited a weakness, it doesn't last too long. So let's get back into the story to continue with the action! Enjoy!

-POV: Phobos-

And just like that, I was the last remaining student from P.H in the competition. With Bakugo knocking out Amelia with a colossal explosion, the semi finals were set in motion. I face Trini, while Cry and Bakugo settle their rivalry. And honestly, i'm glad i'm the one facing Trini. 

I felt as though both Cry and Bakugo were bigger threats to me than her, so having them fight each other is actually in my benefit. And besides, I need to even the score with Trini. She knocked out Josh and broke our promise with each other. I won't hold back against her now.

*Knock, knock, knock* I heard on my door as I went to open it. On the other side was Josh who was currently in a wheelchair. I was told by the nurse when I went to see him after his match that he'd be in it for the rest of the day. Trini's last attack on him completely nullified all movement in his body, but he quickly regained some strength in his arms. So, he could stay mobile in this wheelchair. 

"How's it going?" He asked me as he wheeled himself in. 

"Honestly, I wish it was you I was facing next." I told him as he let out a quick chuckle. 

"Yeah, I believe ya. Would've been nice to beat Trini but she's way too strong. Plus, my quirk had one hell of a bad match up against hers, considering she could make it so I couldn't get close to her." Josh said as I agreed with him. 

"And i'm sure she's gonna try and do the same to me." I said as Josh nodded his head. 

"That's probably true. But, you have two things that I didn't. You have actual ranged attacks, and you're going into the fight knowing her weakness." Josh said as I nodded back. 

"True. But even when you got a shot at her head, it didn't stop her for long. And you made her go into that rage. So if I exploit her weakness, that might be it for me." I said as Josh just started to chuckle again. 

"Well, think of it this way. You've beaten one of the top students at U.A, Todoroki, and then you knocked out THE best student at Gregorvsky Alpha, Sergei. You have had the toughest match ups out of anyone else here, and you beat them all. I have full confidence that you can take down Trini." Josh told me as he gave me a fist bump. 

"Well, at least I know I have at least one person cheering me on. But I wish I had your confidence. It ain't gonna be easy to take her down." I said as the P.A system came on. 

"Competitor Phobos, please make your way down to your entry gate. Your match will begin shortly." It said as it then cut out. 

"Looks like it's time. You ready?" Josh asked me as I just shrugged my shoulders. 

"As ready as i'll ever be, I guess. But i'll do my best for you. I'm gonna try and take it to Trini as much as I can for knocking you out, buddy." I said as we fist bumped again before I left. 

"Alright, folks!!! Who's ready to kick off these epic semi final matches!?" Present Mic announced as I looked to the TV screen that was by my gate.

"I know I am! These next two matches are sure to be incredible for everyone who's watching!" All Might said as the camera then panned over to Eraser Head. 

"At least there's only three matches left..... maybe i'll be able to have my nap soon...." He said, looking very gloomy as the door behind him swung open. Running onto the room was a little girl with bright red eyes and a horn protruding from the right side of her forehead. Her grey hair was in the style of pigtails and she wore a pink kitty sweater, blue pants and red shoes. 

"Daddy!" The little girl yelled as she ran right over to Eraser Head. He turned to face her, looking real confused as to how she probably got in. 

"Eri, I thought I told you to stay in the room. What're you doing up here?" Eraser Head asked the girl. I presumed Eri was her name. 

"I was lonely. And you've been gone a long time. Can I stay here with you?" Eri asked her father, Eraser Head. All he did was let out a sigh and roll his eyes as he lifted her up and plunked her on his lap. 

"Alright, you can stay here and watch the rest of the matches with me. But you've gotta try and stay quiet, okay? Everyone could hear you through this..... microphone....." Eraser Head said as he then realized this whole conversation was being projected through the entire stadium. 

"Aww, look how cute you two are. So nice to see you're little lady could join us up here. How's little Eri today?" Present Mic said, speaking like he was talking to a baby. 

"Mic, cut it out. You know she doesn't like that. It creeps her out. Let's just get on to the match." Eraser Head said as Present Mic went back to his usual shtick. 

"Alrighty then!! Let's bring out the combatants! Take it away, Might!!" Mic said as All Might took over. 

"Having taken down both Todoroki and Sergei, this kid's looking damn near unstoppable! Prepare to be amazed by the boy who's also ablaze! He'll melt you like butter before you can utter "Please, stop burnin' me, man!" It's Phobos Martellin!" All Might roared with excitement as I made my way into the arena, waving to the crowd with a big smile on my face. 

"And now for his opponent! She dominated Josh in the second round! Could a spot in the finals be looming!? She's here to fight, slam and smash, and she'll beat you in a flash! Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Trini Williams!!" Present Mic announced as Trini made her way into the arena. 

"Daddy, why does Mr. Mic have to say these weird lines?" We could hear Eri say through the microphone. 

"Stupid? I think they sound awesome! And what about the one All Might just said? Don't you think that one was stupid too?" Present Mic asked the child. 

"No, his was fun." Eri said as we all just heard Present Mic go "PFFT!"

"Hope you're ready to get your butt whooped, mate!" Trini said to me as I clenched my fists tightly. 

"I'm only gonna say this once to you. I'm not fighting for myself in this tournament." I said as Trini gave me a curious look. 

"Wanna run that by me again?" She asked me. 

"I'm carrying the spirits of everyone who fought so hard during this entire tournament. My classmates, each and every one of them put their heart and souls into each and every event and battle. And now i'm the only one left. I made a promise with Josh to meet him in the semi finals, but you ensured that promise was broken. So I will not hold back in our fight. Be prepared, Trini. You're about to get torched." I declared to her as she grew a fierce expression on her face. 

"Oh, is that so, you bloke? Try saying that to me again when i'm the one standing over ya at the end of the match." Trini said to me as Present Mic got back on. 

"Cut the chit-chat you two! It's time we kick off the semis! Here we go! 3.... 2.... 1...... BEGIN!!!!" He screamed as I instantly raised up both of my arms and generated two large streams of flames. They both shot towards Trini so fast but I knew she was fast enough to catch them, given she could catch Josh at his max speed. 

"Begone." Trini said as her hair began to rise up and glow as usual. She raised up her right arm and bent back all but her pinky and middle fingers. Then, my flames came to a complete stop. 

"Let's see how you like it when I torch you!" She said as she then swapped her fingers, bending back her pinky and middle so her ring and index were now extended out. She then sent both of my streams of flames flying back at me at a much faster pace. 

"Shit! Gotta move!" I thought as I placed both of my arms straight down at my sides. I unleashed some stronger flames that launched me off the ground before I was struck by the fires Trini was trying to hit me with. But she used her quirk to keep redirecting the flames so they'd follow me. 

"I'm gettin' closer, Phobos!!! You'd better hurry before you get roasted like a turkey on Christmas morning!" Trini shouted to me as I then repositioned myself so i'd dive bomb straight down to her, with the flames she was controlling also following me down.

"You think you're so smart, using my own attack against me! I don't have to control my own fire to hurt you!!" I shouted as Trini extended out all of her fingers on her right hand, then bent in her index and middle. Before I knew it, just as I got within 15ft of her, I came to a complete halt. She had me stuck in midair. 

"Not so tough now, are ya?" She said to me but I was the one laughing. 

"What's so funny, bloke?" She asked me. 

"Your quirk may be strong but I've figured out how it works! Look up!!" I said as she looked above me. The flames she was controlling before were still crashing down. And since she had taken control of me, she lost control of them, meaning they were still coming down at me, who was right above her. 

"OH SNAP!!" Trini shouted as both myself and her became engulfed by my flames. 

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Trini wailed as she came leaping out of the flames, landing on her chest as she rolled along the ground to put out the fire. And, she lost her focus and released me, letting me roll out of my fire. And, I was totally fine. My quirk doesn't affect me at all, but she didn't know that so I put myself in a position to let her guard down on purpose. 

"How dare you!?" Trini screamed as me as she rose up to her feet, her hair burned off a bit, now only about half the length. 

"What? Can't take the heat, then get out of the ring." I said to her with a smirk as I saw pure rage form in her eyes. 

"I'm about to make ya regret ever tryin' to become a hero, you twerp! Now come here!!!" Trini shouted as she shot out both her arms, extending out all fingers at me. And before I even had a chance to react, I felt her psychic force grasp my whole body. She dragged me over to her in the blink of an eye and reeled back her left fist far. She then drove her fist right into my face over and over as she held me in place with her quirk. 

"This! Is! For! Hitting! ME!!!" She howled at me as she readied to punch me again. But as she went to hit me again, I opened my mouth wide and bit down hard on her hand when she got close. 

"OUCH!!!" Trini screamed in pain as she pulled her fist away from me, losing focus again and letting me go.

"Now it's my turn!! This is for hitting me!!" I shouted as I unleashed a huge burst of flames from my left arm. They shot straight at her as she held out her right arm to intercept. 

"Ha! You think those'll.... stop..... me!?" Trini said with surprise as she was having difficulty redirecting the fire. The pain was interfering with her focus and control. So, she dived out of the way before being struck, landing on her chest once more as I approached her. 

"GET AWAY FROM ME, BASTARD!! I'M GONNA CRUSH YOU!!!" Trini bellowed as she rose up into the air using her quirk. She then pointed her arms down at the battlefield and extended out all her fingers. The battlefield began to shake, just as it did in Josh's battle with her. But, instead of breaking the field in two and making it float, Trini broke it in two but only made the side I wasn't on rise up into the sky. 

"LET'S SEE YOU TRY AND STOP THIS!!!" Trini roared as she moved the floating half of the field directly over my half and sent it crashing down over me. 

"I'm not going down the same way Josh did!! I fight for him and everyone else from P.H!!! Together, we are strong!! Together, we are undefeatable!!! AND WE WILL NOT LOSE TO YOU!!!" I roared at the top of my lungs as I ignited my arms in the most intense flames I could muster. I then raised up my arms and began channeling everything I had into a giant fireball over my head. And as the last bits of flames entered the fireball, I reeled back my arms and thrusted them straight up again. 

"GIGATON WILDFIRE MAXIMUM!!!" I howled as my fireball collided with the falling half of the battlefield. A huge shockwave blasted throughout the arena, breaking apart all windows in the stadium as the crowd did nothing more than cheer even louder. 

"FALL!!!!" Me and Trini screamed as we both pushed hard on our attacks. But it was clear whose was superior. My flames were melting right through the concrete and soon enough, my fireball blew through it and went straight for Trini. 

"YOU FOOL!! IT'S ALL MINE NOW!!!" Trini shouted with much pride as she then took control of my huge fireball, stopping it as she herself floated back down to what was left of the battlefield. The part she had broken off fell back down, but we were both fine as we were standing where the melted hole was. But now, there was only about 50ft between us here. 

"I SAW IN YOUR MATCH WITH SERGEI THAT YOU BURN MOST OF YOUR FLAMES OUT WHEN YOU USE THAT BIG ATTACK OF YOURS!! WHICH MEANS YOU HAVE NO CHANCE TO STOP THIS IF I USE IT AGAINST YOU!!!" Trini wailed as she thrusted her arms forward, making my fireball come crashing back to me. 

"Oh really....?" I said as she then looked surprised as I reached out with my own arms, pointing them at my fireball as I stopped it from moving. 

"WHAT!? THERE'S NO WAY!! HOW!?" Trini questioned with fury in her voice. 

"I can't just create fire, I can manipulate it too!! I have just as much control of it as you do!!" I said as I began to push the fireball slowly back over to her. 

"I'M NOT FALLING TO SOME FIRST YEAR AMERICAN!! I'M TAKING THAT CROWN FOR MY HOME COUNTRY!! FOR ALL OF ENGLAND!!" Trini roared as he hair began to glow even more. I knew she was preparing her ultimate move. The same one that KO'd Josh. 

"GOTCHA!!! YOU'RE MINE!!" I said as I closed my hand into a fist, and then quickly spread it open once more. The fireball then split apart into five different channels of flame. I controlled each one and sent all of them firing right at Trini from different angles. She looked utterly stunned as she stopped charging her best move to intercept the flames. She reached out with her arms but only managed to stop too. With so many coming from different approaches, it made it much more difficult for her to catch them all. 

"NO, IT'S TOO MUCH!!! I CAN'T STOP THEM!!!" Trini screamed in disbelief as the two remaining streams of fire struck her, exploding on impact and sending her flying. She flew right out of the smoke, going right off the side of what was left of the battlefield and landing hard on her back on the arena grass floor. The crowd erupted in massive cheers as our battle came to an end. 

"HE'S DONE IT!!! PHOBOS DEFEATS TRINI IN AN UTTERLY JAW-DROPPING SPECTACLE OF A MATCH!! HE'S THE FIRST TO ADVANCE TO THE FINALS!!!" Present Mic wailed into his microphone as I saw All Might rush onto the battlefield, a microphone in his hand. 

"Hello everyone watching, this is All Might, now acting as sideline reporter for this semi-final match. I'm here with Phobos Martellin, victor in our first of two matches. Tell me, Phobos, did you have any worries going into this battle?" All Might asked me as he pointed the mic over to me. 

"Of course I did. Trini was as tough as anyone else here. But I had a strategy going in. Let her believe she could hurt me with my own attacks, and let her believe she was the only one who could control my fire." I explained. 

"An excellent strategy that has certainly paid off as you now move on to the grand championship! Tell me, between the remaining two fighters in the second semi-final match, who would you prefer to face? Young Cry? Or Bakugo?" All Might asked me as he pointed the mic over to me again. 

"To be honest, I don't care which one of them I have to face. Whether it's Cry or Bakugo, i'm still gonna come out on top. I'm winning this whole tournament for my home turf. For my school. For my friends who fought so hard just to be here. I'M GOING TO BE CHAMPION!"
