And just like that, we're down to only two villains. Markus and Cry are all that stand in the way of total victory for the heroes. But at the same time, there's not many heroes left either. And with what you all saw at the end of the last chapter, things are getting wold between Wrath Queen and her son. How did those two come to be like that? Well you'll find out in this chapter. It'll be set a few minutes before all that happened. I mean, Trini, Lisa and Midnight are still here as well. Gotta find out where they are, right? Exactly. Now, let's get back into the action! Enjoy!

-POV: Third Person- -Ten Minutes Earlier-

"SHATTERING MINDSTORM!!!" Trini roared as she unleashed her ultimate move at Cry. He had been temporarily immobilized as Wrath Queen had wrapped her tail around him.

"Everyone, help her!! Hit him with everything you have!!!" Wrath Queen shouted as she was struggling to keep Cry at bay. Lisa and Twilight joined in as well as Lisa fired lightning from her axe and Twilight fired explosive rounds from her pulse guns.

"GET OFF OF ME!!! YOU CAN'T STOP ME!!" Cry roared as he surged electricity through his diamond arm which then spread to the rest of his body. It electrocuted Wrath Queen and forced her to let go. He then created several portals in front of him in which each attack flew into. 

"Oh come on, the bloody wanker might as well be cheating with that stuff!" Trini complained as another portal opened up right next to her. 

"You die first!" Cry shouted as all of the attacks from before came out of the portal at once, bombarding Trini and engulfing her in a huge explosion.

"Trini, no!!!" Lisa shouted with great worry as Trini came flying out of the smoke, her body completely limp in the air, with chunks missing from different sections of her body. Her waist, forearms, her left leg, right cheek, she was missing so many pieces from the blast. 

"Lisa, go get her, now!!" Wrath Queen ordered as Lisa used the black angel wings she had sprouted from her back to fly up and catch Trini before she could hit the ground. 

"What's the damage!? Is she breathing!?" Twilight shouted as she rushed over to where Lisa had landed and set Trini down. 

"Barely, but she's losing a lot of blood! She needs help, right now!!" Lisa said as Twilight crouched down and pulled out a syringe from one of the pouches on her utility belt.

"I haven't had time to perfect this yet, but it should temporarily stop the bleeding and null the pain for a short while." Twilight said as she injected the serum into Trini's left wrist. Her breathing suddenly became steady once more and blood stopped coming out of her wounds, but it was clear that with all the damage she had taken, she was through. And with Pein having fallen through one of Cry's portals, Wrath Queen and her team had now been  cut in half.

"LOOK OUT!!" Wrath Queen screamed as Twilight and Lisa turned and saw a wall of fire coming straight for them. Twilight picked up Trini as Lisa took off, grabbing under one of Twilight's arm to lift them up and over the fire before it struck.

"3 down and only 3 to go. Which one of you will be next to fall, I wonder?" Cry questioned in a maniacal tone as Wrath Queen leaped back over to him, reeling back her right flaming arm to strike. 

"You're the one who's going down, Cry! And then, i'm gonna open your eyes so you can see what's real again!! You'll see that I am your real mother, and Markus is not your father!!" She shouted as she thrusted her arm forward at him. But Cry leaned back and avoided her punch which finished with a small burst of flames being released. 

"All I hear is garbage and nonsense from your mouth, Queen. And i'm getting tired of it all. So, I think i'll shut you up next!!" Cry yelled as his diamond armed sharped into a spear. He tried to impale the hero but she turned her right leg into one of her wyvern talons as fast as she could and kicked off the ground with it, giving her enough distance to avoid the deadly attack. 

"Don't forget about us, kid!!" Twilight shouted as Lisa swooped by, allowing Twilight to jump down and deliver a strong kick to Cry's face, knocking him back into a wall for a moment. And while he recovered, Lisa landed next to a door and opened it up, placing Trini down on the other side of it so she was more out of the way of the battle. 

"You bitch!! Come here!!" Cry shouted in a furious rage as he opened a portal next to him and then a second next to Twilight. He reached through his and grabbed her hair through the other, pulling her through and next to him as he readied his spear arm to kill her. 

"Not on my watch! We're not losing anyone else to you!!" Lisa shouted as she took aim and then threw her axe right at Cry. She struck his diamond spear as he went to thrust it and she hit it and then the wall. But her axe stuck into the spear arm, then the wall, meaning she momentarily stuck Cry there, allowing Twilight to rip herself away from him and back over to her teammates. 

"For the love of...." Cry said as he pried himself loose and watched as Lisa called the axe back to her hand, it flying over as she caught it in her grasp. 

"No offense Queen, but i'd say your tactic to make him remember is a lost cause. His mind just isn't budging." Twilight said as she reloaded both of her pulse guns with taser bullets.

"I am not giving up on my son. He would do the same for me. I do not care what it takes. I'm fixing him." Queen said as she went to approach Cry. But she was quickly stopped when Lisa held her axe out in front of them both. 

"No, wait. Let me take a shot at him. I may have something that can knock him down." She told the two as the blades of her axe burst into dark red flames. 

"More fire, huh? Alright, i'll bite this time. Fight your fire with my fire!!" Cry shouted as he turned his diamond spear arm back into a hand then ignited it into a huge burst of blue flames. 

"That fire means nothing compared to this one. These are true flames from a real dragon!! Now feel its burn!!" Lisa said as she waved her axe, unleashing an enormous stream of fire right at Cry. 

"Fire's just fire, and blue is hotter than red!! You can't beat this!!!" Cry shouted as he waved his arm, unleashing his burst of flames as well as the two intense attacks approached one another. 

"Witness the power of a real dragon!! Dragon Heart Quake Strike!!" Lisa roared as her flames morphed into a giant fiery dragon head before it collided with Cry's. But despite Cry's flames being hotter, Lisa's effortlessly blasted through his and made its way over to him. 

"What the!? No way, that's not poss-" Cry tried to say with utter shock in his voice as the giant dragon fire crashed into him, erupting into an explosion that sent him flying straight through a wall with the rubble collapsing down onto him.

"And you never thought of you that against him during the Sports Festival?" Wrath Queen questioned Lisa as her dragon fire extinguished itself on the end of her axe. 

"I was a different person then. I'm much smarter now. And, if luck is on our side, that should have knocked him out. Those are the strongest flames I possess. Nothing can withstand them." Lisa said as she and Wrath Queen began to approach the whole in the wall to see if Cry was down for the count. 

"Jeez, and here I am, quirkless. I'd give my freakin' life to do stuff like th-" Twilight tried to say as she suddenly felt something grab her hair and pull her head back. She dropped her guns quickly and reached back, only to feel an intense shock hit them. 

"Help!!" She screamed as Queen and Lisa turned back and saw a portal had opened up behind Twilight. Cry stood there, holding her hair as he created a knife and held it to her neck. His black shirt had been completely blasted off his body, revealing all his stabbing scars and one large circular one in his upper chest. 

"Nice attack, Lisa. Too bad I got out of there before it did any major damage. Now, if you don't want the little vigilante here to die, i'd suggest you put down that weapon of yours. Then, both of you step away." Cry said as Lisa looked to her teacher who gave her an unsure nod. But she obliged and slowly put her axe down onto the ground before both of them stepped back all the way to the wall. 

"Jeez..... this is why heroes are so stupid. Can't do a thing once a hostage is taken. And now.... let's see what you do when that hostage is killed...." Cry said as he slit Twilight's throat open and dropped her to the ground. 

"NOOOOOO!!!" Wrath Queen screamed as she suddenly blasted herself over to Cry with her flames and drop-kicked him across the room. She then crouched down next to Twilight as Lisa rushed over too. 

"M-my... *agh!* ...second... p-pouc-ch.... left...." Twilight attempted to say as Wrath Queen turned Twilight over and found the pouch on her belt she was referring too. Shr opened it up and pulled out another one of those syringes from before that she used on Trini. 

"*AGH* H.... H..... Hur.... ry...." Twilight said as Wrath Queen stuck it into the vigilantes neck. The immense bleeding suddenly came to a halt and Twilight's pain went away for the time being, but it caused her to lose consciousness. 

"Oh my..... Oh shit, that was too close...." Wrath Queen said with great worry in her voice as Cry just started laughing. 

"She's so lucky, you know? To have a second syringe that could stop the bleeding. But, it's only gonna last so long. And here I am, still standing. She'll run out of time and start to bleed out again. But i'm sure that'll be after I kill the two of you." Cry said as he came walking back over.

"Lisa, get Twilight out of here, right now. I will handle my son." Wrath Queen said with tears in her eyes as Lisa simply nodded before dragging Twilight away and out a side door. Meanwhile, Queen got back onto her feet and turned to face Cry. 

"Where's she going? It's no fun if it's just you and me now." Cry said as Queen reached into a pouch in her costume and pulled something out of it. 

"I always keep this on me, no matter where I am. It reminds me of how our days used to be. Always so happy. Times where you didn't care what people thought of you or your quirk. And, I hope this makes you remember our time together...." Wrath Queen weeped as she threw it over to Cry who caught it in between the fingers of his right hand. He then took a good look at what he was given. 

"Wha..... What.... is this....?" He questioned as he'd been given an image of when he was 12 years old, with his mother and father as they visited Universal Studio's amusement park.

"That's you, me and your real father. We are a family. That was the happiest day of our whole lives, Cry. Please, you have to remember it. Please..." Wrath Queen said as more tears came down her face. She prayed that this would help unlock his memories. 

"This looks.... Just.... like me.... and that.... that's you there... and my dad.... No! No, no, no, this isn't real!! That's not me!! It can't be me!! My father is Markus!! And my mother is dead!!" Cry said as his breathing suddenly started to become heavy. 

"No, he isn't your father. I am your mother, Cry. And.... your real father.... my husband..... is dead. Killed in an attack used to try and kill you..... by the same people who did this to me..... you must remember all this..." Wrath Queen said, pointing to her flaming arm. Cry took a few steps back and put his hands to his head, a throbbing pain emerging as he began to grunt from all the pain surging. 

"Shut up, shut up, shut up!!! I.... I don't know you!! I know who I am!!! I know.... who.... I am!!" Cry struggled to say as he dropped to one knee, holding his head tight almost like he was being bombarded with a bunch of voices and memories. 

"What did you do to him?" Lisa questioned as she returned to Queen's side. 

"I showed him who he really is. And.... it looks like it's working..." Queen said as Cry began to scream, thick veins suddenly emerging all around his head as tears began to drip down his face. 

"I know who I am...... I know who I am..... Who..... I..... am.............. Who...... am..... I.......?" Cry suddenly questioned as Queen and Lisa now just look confused. 

"I don't think it worked...." Lisa said as the two slowly began to approach Cry who started to look fearful. He stepped back as well and ignited his right arm in fire, readying to attack. 

"Now, just hold on, Cry. It's okay. You don't need to do that. I'm your mother, okay? You know me. You're safe now." Wrath Queen calmly said to him but he replied by throwing a fireball at her which she deflected with her flaming arm. 

"Stop lying to me! I don't know you or that other girl with you!! Now..... now stay away from me!!" Cry screamed at them as they both stopped and looked at each other. 

"He's forgotten everything now, he's forgotten who he is! What should we do?" Lisa asked her teacher who looked unsure. 

"We..... This might be our best chance to subdue him. If he's forgotten who, or the rest of us are, then he may have forgotten how to properly control his quirk." Queen said as they began to approach once more. But that action clearly triggered something within Cry as his quirk activated and his veins now glowed the deepest shade of red they could. 

"I said..... STAY AWAY!!!! ONE FOR ALL, FULL COWLING 100%!!!!!" Cry suddenly roared as his whole body erupted with immense energy from the world's strongest power type quirk. 

"I don't know what this "One for All" is that he's speaking of..... but.... judging by the amount of energy I can feel from him.... I can tell that he definitely still knows how to wield his quirk...." Wrath Queen said with fear now in her voice as she never felt a presence so strong before.

"What are we supposed to do, Wrath Queen?" Lias asked as she was also afraid. She called her axe which still laid on the ground back to her hands. 

"I..... I don't know.... even I know i'm not strong enough.... to face such power...." Queen said in utter disbelief as Cry took one step forward before essentially turning into a blur. He moved so quickly that, within the blink of an eye, he reappeared in front of Queen. 

"GO AWAY!!!" He roared as he threw a monstrous punch which struck her dead in the chest. He blew her back, crashing her through several walls before she came to a stop and was buried under a pile of rubble. 

"Oh my...." Lisa said in absolute horror as Cry looked to her next, the intent to kill in his eyes. 

"S-Stay back..... I'm w-warning you...." Lisa said as she stepped back, but Cry followed. Lisa then swung her axe at him, generating electricity through it to try and slow him down. But Cry reached up and caught the blade with his right arm, not caring for the electricity in the slightest. 

"You tried to hurt me....." Cry said in a very calm but sadistic manner as Lisa raised up her left leg and thrusted it forward to try and kick Cry away. But Cry knocked the axe away and then grabbed her leg with his right arm, stopping her completely as he held her there on one foot.

"....So now I will hurt you....." Cry said as he reeled back his left fist and rammed it right into Lisa's left knee. But, the force from OFA within him was so immensely strong that he blew off her entire leg from the knee down. 

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Lisa wailed in absolute agony and devastating pain as Cry let her go and watched her drop to the ground, holding her wound to try and stop blood from leaking out. 

"I don't know who you are.... but this is what happens..... when you threaten me...." Cry said in a very serious manner as he stepped over Lisa and raised up his left boot. 

"N-N-NO!!! PLEASE S-STOP!!" Lisa said as he was going to stomp down on her head and kill her. 

"GET AWAY FROM HER, MONSTER!!!" Wrath Queen suddenly roared as an enormous burst of flames suddenly blasted through a wall and blew back Cry, sending him through a wall on the other side of the room. Queen then returned and ran over to Lisa to try and aid her. 

"Lisa, please, tell me you can hear me right now!? Give me a sign, anything!!" Queen said as Lisa coughed up a bunch of blood. 

"Stop.... b..... bleed.... ing...." She said as Wrath Queen moved her right flaming hand near where her leg had been blown off. 

"I don't know if Twilight has anymore of those syringes, and I don't know if i'd have the time to get one anyways. I'm very sorry.... this is going to hurt.... a lot.... please, bear the pain, you brave girl...." Wrath Queen said as she clamped her flaming hand over the wound, burning away at it as Lisa let out an ear deafening screech. But after only a few second, Queen let go. She's used her fire to melt the wound and close it up, stopping the bleeding. 

"You still with me, Lisa....?" Wrath Queen asked as Lisa was still breathing. And she had enough strength to give her a thumbs up. But, with majority of her left leg now gone, she was done for. Only Wrath Queen remained to face her son.

"This is what happens.... to people who want to harm me..... I acted in self-defense.... she hit me first.... and this is what happened..... And now that you hurt me.... I will return the favor..." Cry said as he came walking back into the room, his body still resonating with the immense energy of One for All.

"You're sick, for fuck's sake!! If you would just listen to us, then we can help you!! Don't be this.... this..... monster!! We can fix you!! We can make you who you once were, Cry!!!" Wrath Queen said to him but it appeared he just didn't care for anything she had to say. 

"Forget it.... he's too far gone.... only actions will speak to him now...." Lisa said as she coughed a bit more. 

"But even with what i'm capable of.... I don't believe I can defeat my son.... I'm not strong enough...." Wrath Queen said as she lowered her head. 

"Maybe not as you are..... but.... I know a way.... that you will be...." Lisa said as she brought over her axe which still laid in her left hand. She placed her right one next to it and the axe began to resonate a dark aura. It then merged with her right hand and the axe stopped glowing. 

"Take my hand...." Lisa said. 

"What is this...? What're you going to do?" Wrath Queen asked. 

"This is the power of a demon. Pure strength incarnate. It'll.... amplify.... your abilities.... immensely...." Lisa said as she began to lose consciousness. Wrath Queen quickly took her hand and the demonic energy spread to her from Lisa. She then let go as the energy surged all throughout her body. 

Wrath Queen began to undergo a transformation in which the demonic energy completely took over. Her whole body began to resonate a powerful black aura, her costume had turned from its normal blue and silver coloring to an all black color. Her snow white hair turned a deep pitch black and literal fangs grew within her mouth. She let out a deep roar that embodied strength as she ignited her hand in flames. But instead of her normal bright orange fire, it was now a blood red flame. 

"I can feel a strong amount of power within you.... And... it feels stronger than my own..... which means..... in order for you to go away...." Cry said as his right diamond arm suddenly began to produce lightning which then began to spread over his whole body. 

"I have to go even further!!! ONE FOR ALL 100% THUNDER GOD!!!" Cry roared as his body now turned into literal lightning, whilst still maintaining the strength of One for All. 

The two empowered quirk users circled one another, not taking their eyes off one another for a single second as they waited for the opportunity to strike. But neither gave even a moments opening, so one had to move first. And the now Demon Queen took the first attack. 

"Dread Queen's Dark Fireball!!!" She roared in her demonic voice as she unleashed a huge dark red fireball from her hands. Cry responded by catching it in his hands, the fireball pushing him back along the ground until he found his footing to stop it entirely.

"GET.... AWAY..... FROM..... ME!!!!" He howled as he threw the fireball right back at Queen who proceeded to simply bat it away, blasting it through the only wall that hadn't been blown through. She blew it apart and revealed a massive hole to the outside of the building. 

"This room is too small for our capabilities. Let's take this outside...." Queen said as the two of them floated outside, Queen's demonic powers lifting her and Cry making a platform of wind below his feet. 

"I just want to be left along, lady.... but if you keep on trying to attack me.... then I guess I have no choice but to kill you!!!" Cry shouted as he flew forward at the actual speed of lightning, throwing a colossal punch at Queen. 

"Pathetic...." Queen said in an unimpressed tone as she reached up and caught his punch, a gust of wind appearing behind Queen afterwards from the force of the punch.

"W-What!?" Cry said in complete disbelief as he threw another punch with his other arm. But Queen caught it again and now had a firm grip on both of his hands. 

"You've been a bad boy, Cry. And now, mommy must punish you!" Wrath Queen said as she opened her mouth and started generating a flame within it. 

"Not if I can say anything about it!!" Cry said as he called down a massive thunderbolt which struck Queen directly in her back, knocking her down which took Cry with her as she was still holding onto him. Queen crashed through a transport truck and let go of Cry who landed on a taxi.

"Ow....." Cry said as he got back up, his lightning going everywhere as he short circuited a few lightpoles around him. 

"You will pay for that, boy...." Wrath Queen said as she jumped out of the transport truck and onto the street. The two stood in the middle of a street, about 30ft from one another with buildings all around them.

"Bring it on, you bitch!!" Cry replied as the two began to charge each other, both reeling back their right arms, preparing to strike with their full force. Cry's arm generating even more lightning, and Queen's arm becoming engulfed in a huge fireball. The two planted their feet as they came to full stops and threw their mighty fists as each other. 

"FAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!" The two roared at the top of their lungs as they collided. The sheer impact of their attacks first cratered the ground around them, then the following shockwave cracked several buildings structures and shattered nearly all of the windows. But neither of them moved even an inch. They both withstood the others attack. 

"You can't hit what you can't see!!" Cry shouted as he used his lightning fast speed to become a blur once more and go around to Queen's backside. He then placed his left hand flat against her back and fired a point blank bolt of lightning which sent her flying into a building. The building was small and Queen struck it with so much force that the entirety of the building collapsed, reduced to nothing but rubble with Queen was buried under. 

"I.... AM NOT..... DONE!!!!!" Queen bellowed as she burst out of the rubble and let out another mighty roar, igniting her arms once more as she leaped for her son.

"Why won't you just die already!?" Cry questioned as he leaped for her as well. But as they approached one another, Cry went to punch Queen, only for Queen to flip over his arm and then reposition herself right above him. 

"Dread Queen's Gore Talon!!" Queen howled as she raised her left leg straight up and turned it into one of her talons, now bearing even more claws and spikes. She swung it right down and smashed it into Cry's back, sending him crashing down into the street, erupting the ground in a massive cloud of dust as she landed gently on the ground. 

"Stay down, boy...." Queen said as the sound of rubble being moved gave her an answer. 

"No.... way..... I... do not.... quit!!" Cry said as he stood up and blew away the dust. He charged Queen once more, moving like lightning around her in a complete circle until he whipped up an actual tornado with her stuck inside it. 

"Damn it...." Queen said as the wind was so strong within that it was making it difficult for her to move at all. Meanwhile, Cry was jumping in and out of the tornado, delivering insanely strong punches and kicks to Queen before diving back out to do it all over again. 

"What's the matter, lady!? Are you at your limit already!? Is this too much for you!? Why don't you just lay down and die already!? Die and it'll all be over!!! What do you say!?" Cry shouted to her as Queen raised both of her arms straight up into the air and began to generate an insane amount of fire from her body. 

"I won't die!!! Not until I say I can!! Now watch as I tear your little wall of wind to pieces!!! Dread Queen's Burning Geyser!!!" She roared as she unleashed a huge pillar of fire that burst through the top of the tornado. The insane amount of heat made the tornado dissipate, freeing her as she turned and rushed for her son. 

"I've had enough of your tricks, Cry!!! I am ending this right now!!!" She yelled as she grabbed his face and forced it into the ground. She began dragging it fast through the concrete as Cry tried to pry her grip open. But she wasn't letting up for even a split second. 

"Rain Thunder!!!" Cry shouted as several bolts of lightning came crashing down from the sky, bombarding Wrath Queen until she was forced to let go and allow Cry to make a bit of distance between them. 

"AAAAHHHHHHH, I'VE HAD IT!!! I AM FINISHING THIS, ONCE, AND FOR ALL!!!" Wrath Queen screamed as her whole body ignited in her blood red flames. 

"I COULDN'T AGREE MORE!!! THE PAVEMENT WILL BE STAINED WITH YOUR BLOOD!!!" Cry replied as he generated even more lightning through his body, with the lightning itself turning a red color. It had mixed with his own blood flow at this point.

"THIS IS WHERE YOU LOSE!!!!" The two roared at the top of their lungs as they charged each other once more, preparing their final attacks to end one another. However, as they approached, Wrath Queen's dark aura, and other demonic features suddenly vanished. 

"DIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" Cry screamed as he effortlessly overpowered the drained Queen, blasting his lightning filled fist into her face and forcing it down, smashing her head first into the concrete. A massive explosive shockwave ensued, tearing up the street and blowing away cars of all sizes. Cry stood above his mother who laid in a pool of blood. A hole had been burned through her left cheek thanks to his lightning, and she barely breathed. 

"It's over..... you lose...." Cry said as he then started to cough up blood. He turned himself back to normal and almost dropped to his knees, but found his footing before falling. 

"No..... It can't....." Wrath Queen said as she tried everything to move. But she could barely move her arms even a few inches.

"Now, to ensure I stay left alone, I will wipe you from the face of this planet...." Cry said as he reached down and grabbed her by the hair, lifting her up as he made them both float up into the air, about 50ft above the ground. 

"Let this final strike of lightning be your end, Wrath Queen...." Cry said as flashes appeared in the rain clouds above. 

"I.... never wanted to hurt..... you.... I only did.... what I had to do.... because... I am your mother.... I..... am your.... mother...... Cry...." Wrath Queen said as she produced what little firepower she had left on her left hand. 

"Ultimate move...... Dread Queen's..... Inferno..... Javelin...." Wrath Queen said as she formed those few flames into a fiery javelin. Cry had made her face away from him so she could look up at the sky and watch her doom come for her. But Cry hadn't noticed she'd made this weapon in her hands yet. And so, Queen raised it up to her chest as Cry's lightning bolt began to come down from above to strike her. 

"I.... Love.... You..... Always.........." Wrath Queen said as she shed one final tear before impaling herself through the chest, pushing the javelin through far enough to also impale Cry. 

"*AGH!*" Cry said as his veins stopped glowing and the lightning bolt disappeared before it could strike. Queen's javelin disappeared as she'd used up the remainder of her energy in that final attempt to reach her son. And as her weapon disappeared, the two began to fall from the sky. They landed apart from each other, neither moving whatsoever and showing no signs of life. But, as a dead silence came over the area, their battle had reached its end. 

In a desperate attempt to reach out and free her son from the Injustice Squad's grasp, Wrath Queen gave her all to break through their control. And while she broke it, it caused her son to be driven mad, forgetting everyone and nearly everything about himself. And so, it came to her once more to bring him down and save not just his life, but potentially everyone in the entire world. And now, a true hero finally earns her well deserved rest.

Her fight has concluded.....
