Chapter 4

It's been a week and no sign of Deku has been found. Everyone grew worried and some feared the worst. But some kept hope alive, because they knew the broccoli-haired boy was smarter and stronger than at first glance. And he was just as stubborn as the rest of 'Class 1-A.'

"It looks like a storm is coming. We best head back." Aizawa said, seeing the dark clouds above. "No! We can keep looking." Ochako said, she is starting to get very worried for her friend. Tsuyu and Iida look at each other worried for their friend. "We all we want to keep looking for Midoriya." The frog-looking girl said trying to comfort her.

"But Aizawa Sensei is right. We need to return home, otherwise we'll be in danger." Iida include. Ochako was about to say something, but she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looks up and sees Aizawa, "Don't worry. Well continue the search once it's cleared up." The tired-looking man stated. Ochako then agreed and they hurried home.

"Deku please be okay." She says. She didn't want to lose her dear friend. Little did she know that Deku was doing just fine.

(Meanwhile with Deku)

"Seriously?! That's amazing!" Jayori was telling the young green-haired boy stories of encounters she had with other creatures. "Yeah, but it pays to learn how to fight. Not everyone can be talked to." She finished.

Then a crackle was heard outside and the half-blood's ears twitched towards it. Deku jumped a bit. "That sounds like thunder." He said. Jayori got up and went to the entrance/exit of the cave and sniff the air, "Your right. And judging by the moisture in the air a storm is rolling in, a big one too."

She then walked to a section of the cave and pulled out a large rock. "What are you doing?" Deku asked. The tiger girl look at him with a smile, "Well, it's protection from the storm. We have enough food and water so we should be fine." She explains. Deku couldn't help but admire her. "She's really smart. And living alone obviously means she needs to find ways to protect herself against stuff like this." He thought.

He heard snickering and saw Jayori, the rock blocking the cave so that they would be safe. "What?" He asked. She looked at him, "You were mumbling again." She stated. His face reddens and he looks away. "Sorry." He apologize. He looks up and sees Jayori standing above him.

She bends down and looks into his eyes, "I think it's adorable." She stated. Deku smiles and her smile brightens. She then went over to another corner of the cave and grabbed some clothes. "Well looks like we're gonna be stuck in here for a while, so best get comfy." She said and then went to a hallow hole in the wall and  grabbed a curtain and pulled it over for privacy. "Yeah, I'll start a fire." Deku said and grabbed two stones and started a fire.

While waiting for her to change, he looks at his right arm. It has healed(thanks to Miss Opal's healing products), but there were scars. The teeth marks of the large wolf that bit him. Even though he's seen people in his village have scars, they were mostly minors. The only person he's seen with a scar that actually looked to be one was All Might. He had a huge scar on the side of his stomach that he received when he fought the being that had him lose his power for good.

"I have some too." He yelped and turn around to find Jayori in her pajamas and her hair down. They looked a little tight and Deku quickly turn his head away before he could stare. She put her clothes up and sat next to him on his right side. Deku looked at her pajamas, even though he's seen her in them before he couldn't help but find them adorable. They had orchids on them (her favorite flowers). Her pants reached her ankles and her shirt covered her top half, (but they couldn't hide her curves).

He on the other hand had been given new clothes and currently he was already in his pajamas, but they were outlined in green to match his hair. He couldn't help but feel like they were meant to match. "I put on a lotion that covers them up. Not that I'm ashamed of them, they can be a little irritating. So it soothes them and it also smells nice." The blue-eyed girl explains.

He looks back at the tiger girl and saw her tail slowly wagging. He looked at her face and once again he felt a pull towards her. They've only known each other for a week and they had learned so much about the other but not all. The greenette's eyes drifted to her neck and saw something.

"What about th-that one?" He pointed at the girl's neck and the half-blood subconsciously placed a hand on it. "Oh, I was young when I received it. It was an accident though and it hurt a lot. But it's not as bad as the others." She said, still looking at the fire. Deku knew that she had more stories, but he wasn't going to force her to tell him.

Instead, he slowly but determinedly grabbed her hand and brought it to his lips. He laid a gentle kiss on it, "You don't have to tell me now, but I'll wait. You are someone who obviously has been through a lot, and I may not know all of you but I wish too." He looks at her with honesty.

Jayori was taken back but she smiled sweetly and rested her head on his shoulder, intertwining their hands, "I want to know more about you too. And don't feel like you need to tell me now, just do it when you're ready Izuku." The half-blood's breathe evened out and she closed her eyes falling asleep.

Deku was glad she's asleep because his face looks so red he could be a tomato. He looks at the sleeping girl and smiles. He lifts his free hand to her head to pet her ears, but stops and returns it to his side.

"Sweet dreams Jayori." The young boy knew in his heart that this girl deserves so much and he is happy enough for even being close to her. He felt his heart beat fast again and this time he didn't fight it and soon sleep took hold of him as well.

(Meanwhile with Class 1-A)

The group of teens all had a sleepover at Momo's. Her house was one of the biggest due to her family's wealth and they've been a little worried of their search for their friend.

"Hey I know we're all worried for Midoriya," Kirishima starts. He looks at all their sad faces and continues, "But we can't give up yet. He wouldn't give up on us and we're not giving up on him." He finish. "Yeah! Kiri's right and we're a group who never gives in and never leaves a friend behind!" Mina exclaims.

Everyone then started cheering and talk about how they are gonna celebrate when they retrieve their friend. Bakugo sits near the window, watching the rain. He feels a presence and doesn't bother to see who it is. "I know you're thinking about him." The ash-blonde finally looks to find Todoroki with his usual blank face.

"So what." He defended. The white and red haired boy saw through the tough, crimson eyes and continues, "You know what he's capable of. You see him as a weak person, but even you saw how far he's come. Trust me I feel his strength too." Bakugo turned back to the window and continued staring at the rain.

Todoroki decided to leave but he looks back, "And you're too prideful to admit it." "Whatever! Get away from me Icy-Hot!!" The explosive boy retorted aggressively. The bi-colored haired boy smiles a bit and walks away. But deep down even after the way he treated Deku, Bakugo still treasured the times they were childhood friends.

But time can change a person and he let his ego and pride get the better of him. However, he would do whatever he can to ensure those creatures stay where they are or they would regret it. "Like I said before Deku, better not have any fun without me."

(Time Skip: Morning. With Deku)

The light of the sun shined through the small crack of the cave that wasn't covered by the rock. Deku didn't want to open his eyes and instead snuggle into his bed. "Wait, I don't remember getting into my bed." He thought.

He moved a little but felt something hold on to him. The green boy open his eyes, but his vision was filled with white. He blink his eyes few times to clear his head and sure enough white was all that he saw. But he also felt two pillow? like things on his face.

"This is weird. I don't remember any pillows Jayori has." He tried to move away and place his hand on one of the 'pillows' but he heard a noise that sounded like a groan. "Wait?" He slowly look up and found brown hair and the person who owns that hair is still sleeping peacefully. Deku felt like screaming, he was cuddling with Jayori. And that isn't a pillow that he is grabbing.

"What do I do?!" He mentally yells at himself. He couldn't wake her up and see the compromising position he was in. Instead, he slowly remove his hand from her...uh...chest. "Hmm, morning Izuku." He froze. His entire face was as red as a lobster.

He saw no other option and looks up at the half-blood's blue eyes. "S-s-s-sorry." He apologize. He felt like dying at this point. Jayori just giggles and this leaves Deku confuse. She slowly unravel her arms and sits up, "It's fine and you're a great body pillow. But I didn't know you were also handsy." She had a tint of red on her face but smiled like it's no big deal.

Deku also sat up and dusted himself off. He looks back at her and saw that her arms had scars on them. "Oh the lotion. But she has so many. I wonder if they really hurt?" He looks up to her face and sees her looking at him. "What?" He asks. Jayori scoots closer to him until she's in front of him. The boy gulps a bit but waits for what she'll do next. "Do you want to feel them?" She asks.

Deku had a surprise look. He looks at her arms seeing the scars and then into her eyes. "Are you sure?" He didn't want to make her uncomfortable. "I feel like you'll want to at some point, so why not now?" She says looking at him with a look of trust. Taking a breathe, Deku gently grabs her arms, "Tell me if it's too much, okay?" He says. The tiger girl nods.

They felt a little rough but also soothing. Deku caress her arms like they were fragile flowers, along with feeling muscle she gained over the years. Some are more faded while others look to have been recent. His green eyes glance up to find Jayori with her eyes close and ears twitching. He focuses back on her arms and continues to feel them. "I think they're really cool." He blurts out. Jayori looks at him and couldn't help but feel touched by his words.

The two remain silent and after what seems like hours Deku lets go of her arms and looks up at her. "Thank you." The boy says. "No problem." Jayori replies. She gets up, fix her hair, and removes the rock from the entrance and puts it back in its hole, "So does pork sound good?" She asks. "Yeah." Deku answers. The tiger girl wags her tail and gets to cooking.

Deku grabs his bag and pulls out his notebook, but instead of writing notes he found a blank page and starts drawing Jayori. "Do you want me to pose?" His face reddens a bit, but he smiles and looks up at her, "N-no, just do what you're doing." The girl beams at him with her blue eyes and continues preparing breakfast.

Deku couldn't keep this warm feeling at bay and neither could Jayori. These two definitely had it bad, but they don't want to rush anything and soon they would become closer. Being patient people they could wait.
