How you met:

I wrapped my scarf tighter around my neck looking at the view around me. I loved coming up to the roof of my work. It was so tall. I could see everything from up here.

I smiled breathing in the cold air. It was a lovely night tonight. Nice and clear.

"Where's the money Johnny?"

"I-i don't know."

"What on earth?" I said to myself as I peaked around the other side of the building listening for the voices.

Two men were facing each other. One was bigger with a gun in his front pocket. The other was tinier looked very afraid.

My eyes widen as the bigger man pulled out his gun. Am I about to witness a murder? Should I call 911?

"I said where's the money!"

"I don't know! Please no don't!"

I shrieked as the gun went off and the man fell to the ground making a pained noise.

"Who the fuck?" Suddenly the bigger man turned to corner coming face to face with me.

"You little bitch. Come here."

I screamed again as he reached for me. I attempted to run away but he was faster and shoved me harshly.

I clenched my eyes shut assuming I'd hit the cement floor of the roof access. Instead wind ripped through my hair and clothes like I was caught in a tornado.

I managed to turn myself. To my utter horror I saw I was  plummeting towards the street getting closer and closer to death.

I closed my eyes in fear knowing it would all be over soon. Saying my final goodbyes.

Then the wind stopped. I slowly opened my eyes shaking and trembling in fear.

"Hey it's alright. I got you."

A blonde man with large red wings held me in his arms. He smiled genuinely setting me down on a different building.

"A-are you a angel?" I asked still a little out of it from almost splatting on the pavement.

"Nah...although I have been called that before. My names hawks. I'll be back alright. I gotta take care of your friends over there."

With that he hopped off the edge and from what I could make out from the other roof he successfully got both men.

He came back a man in each arm. He dropped them with a thud in front me. Then looked me up and down before smirking.

"What's your name hmm?"

"Uh...(y/n)"

How he asked you out:

"So (y/n) as your savior...I think I deserve a reward."

"W-what would that reward be?"

"A date." He chuckled as he handed me a card with his phone number on it. "Call me." He said as he winked.

"Uh okay." I said as he gave one last smile before jumping off the edge again and flying away.

First date outfit:

I looked cool simple and elegant.

I tried to out do him style wise. I looked incredible.

First date location:

After a call with the flirty birdy I got dressed and ready to go. We were gonna have our first date at the mall.

Shopping and food. Perfect. The only issue was where was he? I had been standing at the entrance for 10 minutes and he still hadn't shown up.

Maybe he was gonna blow me off? At least I could go shopping to make myself feel better. Get some ice cream..

"Hey (y/n) right?"

I turned to see my date. He looked handsome but that doesn't cover the fact he was now 20 minutes late.

"Yeah. Your late." I gave him a grumpy look which he laughed at.

"Yeah sorry. It's crowded in the air today. So many birds. Anyways where you wanna go first my love?"

"My love? What are you a prince?"

"That's what I keep telling myself."

"Let's go to a couple shops first then eat?"

"Sounds good."

After picking out some clothes we liked at a couple stores we started walking towards the food court.

By now I had learned my date was completely full of himself, but...he was still nice and funny. So not a totally worthless date.

"No way. I don't believe you took out 50 guys by yourself." I rolled my eyes and sat down. I picked teriyaki chicken to eat and it smelled amazing.

"I did too. It was easy too."

"Mhm sure totally believe you."

"Doesn't sound liked it. Wanna do this again sometime? Despite you not believing in my ability to kick 50 people's butts at the same time I actually liked hanging out with you."

"Actually? Ouch. You know what sure. Another date it is. This time though you get to pay for my food."

He laughed "Deal."

First kiss:

"Hawks are you sure this is safe? What if you drop me? I mean I'll die for sure from this high up."

"I'm not gonna drop you. I carry rescued people all the time and I've only ever dropped one."

"What!"

"I'm kidding! Come on trust me please."

I looked at him then over the edge of the building. "Alright no teasing though okay. Like pretending to drop me or something."

"I would never."

"Mhm"

He walked over to me picking me up bridal style before hopping over the edge. Despite closing my eyes I still screamed.

"(Y/n) calm down. Look."

I shakingly opened my eyes my mouth dropping open as I looked around me.

Clouds were everywhere. I was literally in the sky and it was beautiful.

"Wow!"

"I know right. Here hold on."

I did as I was told and he flew faster along the clouds. I wanted to reach out and touch them.

"Okay here."

I looked up and for the second time that day I was speech less.

The sun was shining through parted clouds like you would see in a picture.

I looked up seeing hawks stare at it too. He looked just as amazed as I did even though he had to of seen this more than once.

I pulled myself higher on him and kissed him catching him off guard.

He slowly landed before he kissed me back. I had to admit he was romantic.

That one matching thing:

"Here ya go." Hawks handed me a bag. I smiled at him before opening it.

"Oh wow this bracelet is beautiful! Thank you!!"

"Best part is..." I watched as he took his necklace off and showed me the key that hung from it.

"...you have the key to my heart."

"Exactly! I thought it was romantic."

"Eh it's a bit cheesy."

"Wha-"

"I'm just kidding! I love it!" I hugged him as he grumbled about my little prank.

The first I love you:

I laid my head on hawks shoulder as he wrapped a wing around me. I smiled remembering the first time he did this how I jumped.

Right now we were on the tallest building in Japan. He had flown me up here to watch meteor shower.

It was like hundreds of shooting stars raining from the sky. It was beautiful.

"Thank you. For bringing me up here."

"Your welcome. It wasn't that difficult though. Especially when I know how much you love this stuff."

"Yeah but still...I love you."

I blushed brightly looking away from him but, he turned my head making me face him.

"I love you too." He leaned in giving me one of those kisses that I loved so much.

"Aw that's so amazing. I'm really happy for you. So when will you be getting your bigger office?" Hawks stood next to me while I talked to my coworker.

"Hopefully by next week but you know the systems so slow."

"Oh I do know." We laughed at the inside joke before I noticed my boyfriend had disappeared.

"Excuse me." I left my coworker looking around my office till I came across a interesting sight.

My boyfriend was flirting with the lady at the front desk. "Uh watcha doin?"

"Well you seemed busy so I figured I'd busy myself too. This is Miranda by the way. She's very nice."

"Come on." I pulled him away from the front desk jealousy already starting to bubble in my chest.

He laughed at my forcefulness. "You shouldn't make me jealous (y/n) I'll have to get you back every time."

"I was just talking to Bob!"

His favorite thing: (When he makes you angry.)

"(Y/n) I'm bored."

I rubbed my temples as I glared at my boyfriend who was laying on the floor of my office.

"You could always leave you know."

"Ouch (y/n) that really hurt. Can't you just like hurry up and finish your work so we can go."

"No I'm doing my work like I normally do. It's not my fault you got here early."

"Hmph" he pouted. I ignored him and continued to type away...till a pencil flew past my face grabbing my attention.

"What the hell are you doing?" I looked at hawks who was holding my cup of pencils.

"Trying to get them in the other cup." He said as he tossed another one.

"Stop it now."

"Make me."

"Ughhhh"

He tossed another one this time it landed in the other cup. "Yess woohoo!!" He cheered his wings popping out making my papers fly everywhere.

"Oh...oops...hehe sorry (y/n)..."

"I'm gonna fry you up for dinner you little chicken."

"Oh sh-"

I gave him a look before I continued scrolling to the next post on my phone.

"Having kids with wings is very painful you should ask my mom."

"Nope you know what I'm good. No kids is fine by me."

How he proposed:

I sat down on the couch next to my boyfriend he seemed off all day and I didn't really understand why.

"Okay talk to me. What's been up with you today? I know something is wrong I can tell."

He looked up at me. "Well uh...I guess there's no better time than now. You gotta know this is a huge courage thing and I'm doing this for you."

"Uhh okay."

"Wanna get married?"

"What?"

"Look okay I know I don't usually like to be public about stuff but I really like you and I don't care about being a bachelor anymore. So what do you say huh?"

"Uh..."

"Come on don't say no that was like super difficult to ask."

"Alright. Yes I will marry you. But not till we have dated for at least one more month cause this is to soon."

"Oh thank god I totally agree."

"Where's my ring hmm?"

"Here" he handed me a ring that was in his pocket and despite the situation being a little to soon it was actually perfect.

"Wow I love it."

"Good it took forever to choose."

I laughed before giving him a hug. I am engaged!!!
