In Paradox's Hideout

Paradox: Curse that stupid girl. If she didn't use her quirk on me, I would have been able to kill her. Oh well, I have someone else to kill now.

Paradox: *turns around to Yuko, who is tied up*

Yuko: *growls*

Paradox: Hey! That is not how we treat our guests.

Yuko: *Confusion, but tries to use her quirk to break free*

Paradox: *is about to get angry at Yuko but then a brilliant idea pops in her head* How about we make a deal?

Yuko: What?

Paradox: *has an evil smile on her face* You heard me. If you answer five of my riddles correctly, I'll let you go.

Yuko: Okay...

Paradox: *smiles* Perfect.

Yuko: *stops*

Paradox: Riddle #1: I hurt the most when lost, yet also when not had at all. I'm sometimes the hardest to express, but the easiest to ignore. I can be given to many, or just one. What am I?

Yuko: Love.

Paradox: *smiles* Correct.

Yuko: :3

Paradox: Riddle #2: You send curiosity, but doesn't show. Your heart breaks, but no one knows. He sees you, but walks away. You grab the gun and pull the trigger. What am I?

Yuko: Despair and Betrayal.

Paradox: *smiles bigger* Correct.

Yuko: *her eyes start to twitch slightly*

Paradox: Riddle #3: Each morning I appear, to lie at your feet. All day I will follow, no matter how fast you run. Yet I nearly perish, in the midday sun. What am I?

Yuko: Shadow...

Yuko: *she starts to growl as her eyes turn a reddish color*

Paradox: *is annoyed* Correct.

Paradox: Since we are getting to know each other so well, I'm just going to tell you my real name. My real name is Nazo. *gives an innocent looking smile to Yuko*

Yuko: *she growls slightly*

Paradox: Well, onto Riddle #4.

Paradox: Riddle #4: I can bring tears to your eyes; resurrect the dead, make you smile, and reverse time. I form in an instant but last a lifetime. What am I?

Yuko: *is crying* Please make it stop! It's......it's a memory...

Paradox: *smiles* Correct. But, we have one more riddle for us to answer.

Yuko: *is sobbing*

Paradox: Riddle #5: *has an evil smile on her face* I am always around, but never seen. I am often avoided, but you can't out run me. For I will come when you are old and grey, or maybe even the next day. I will come with cold embrace, and give you rest with a chilled kiss on your face. I come in many forms of emotional state, whether it's irony, love, laughter, or hate. I am everyone's finale fate. Who. Am. I?

Yuko: Death?

Paradox: Correct.

Paradox: *smiles*

Paradox: Congrats. You have answered all five of my riddles correctly. I'm impressed.

Yuko: *she starts to scream*

Paradox: *is annoyed* Shh! Stop screaming already.

Yuko: No...

Paradox: *sighs* Before I let you go, I want you to do me one more favor. It is pretty simple, actually.

Yuko: .....what....

Paradox: *walks closer to Yuko and pulls out a knife. She places the knife in Yuko's hands. She stares into Yuko's eyes. Her eyes were had no emotion. You could say that her eyes were almost emotionless. She soon speaks up in a creepy but calming voice* I want you to stab yourself with this knife.

Yuko: *her eyes were twitching while she was holding the knife that Paradox had given her*

Somewhere else, well, more like at UA. Kotoa is in one of her classes when all of a sudden, her classmate, Yuri, turns over to Kotoa. Kotoa never really talked that much to Yuri but she knew that Yuri was Yuko's sister. Yuko was the girl that helped Katsumi to the hostipal. Yup, Kotoa also saw the news when that had happened.

Yuri: *turns to Kotoa* I feel like something is off.

Kotoa: *is confused by what Yuri means by that*

Back at Paradox's Hideout

Paradox: *talks in a creepy and calming voice* You heard me. I want you to stab yourself with this knife. If you can't even do that yourself, then I will have to do the dirty work and I don't want the cops to know that I killed you myself. I want your death to look like a suicide, just like I do with Katsumi and Shojiki. It was such a fun time killing those two.

Yuko: I.....can't....

Back at UA, in Kotoa's Class

Yuri: I feel like Yuko's about to do something stupid.

Kotoa: *is confused* Didn't the teacher said that Yuko was sick today? And how do you know she is about to do something stupid right now?

Back at Paradox's Hideout

Paradox: *is mad* STOP COMPLAINING! GOD, KIDS THESE DAYS ARE SO ANNOYING! THEY ALWAYS AGRUE AND COMPLAIN! BUT, THE WORSE PART IS THAT THEY NEVER LISTEN WHEN THEY ARE TOLD TO DO SOMETHING!

Back again at UA, Yuri finally puts the pieces together and her face is full of fear and shock.

Yuri: ...Paradox.

Kotoa: *is confused* Who is Paradox?

Back again at Paradox's Hideout, Yuko is going crazy, thinking that she is seeing memories of her family. One of the memories was of her dad.

Yuko: STOP YELLING AT ME, NEKU!

Paradox: *yells* HEY, IDIOT! IF YOU WANT ALL OF THOSE MEMORIES TO STOP, YOU GOING TO HAVE TO STAB YOURSELF!

Yuko: *is screaming as she starts coughing up blood, stabbing herself multiple times*

Back in the classrom, at UA. Yuri's face was in pure shock and horror.

Yuri: *gets up from her seat in a panic* YUU-

Teacher: What is going on, Miss Yuri? Is everything alright with you?

Lily: *gets up from her seat* What's going on, Yuri?

Yuri: *walks away from her seat and starts running out of the classroom* YUU-

Teacher: *yells* MISS YURI! Why are you running out of my classroom? This is not the time to be making a scene! *looks at Kotoa and Lily* You two go after her and make sure that she gets back here, safe and sound.

Kotoa: *nods her head* Okay.

Kotoa and Lily run after Yuri, who is now running in the hallways.

Yuri: *is continuing to run* FUYUKO!

While Kotoa and Lily are running after Yuri, Yuko is still coughing up blood at Paradox's Hideout.

Lily: *is still running after Yuri* I got a bad feeling about this...

Kotoa: *is still running after Yuri* Same here.

Back at Paradox's Hideout

Paradox: *smiles* Looks like it is time for me to make my grand escape.

Paradox starts running out of the building, leaving no evidence that she was even there. She runs out of the building, leaving Yuko to die in the hideout. After hours and hours of running, the three girls have reached Paradox's Hideout. Yuri opens a back door that she found and enters into the hideout. She starts looking left and right for her sister, Yuko.

Yuri soon sees Yuko, tied up in the middle of the hideout. She was underneath a small light and she was tied to a chair. Her legs were tied to the chair legs and her hands were tied together. Not only was her hands together but she was holding a knife. A knife that was covered in her own blood.

Yuri looks at Yuko.

Yuri: ...sis-

Yuri starts crying softly.

Yuko: *does not say anything*

Kotoa: *her face is full of shock* Is she-

Yuri runs closer to her sister.

Yuri: Yuu......speak to me.

Yuko: Sh.....she......did it.

Kotoa: Who?

Yuko: Para....

Yuri: Paradox drove her insane.

Lily: *does not say anything at all*

Kotoa: *walks back a little bit and then screams* SHIT! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!

Lily: *her hands begin to spark*

Kotoa: *is yelling* Look at this bullshit we got to deal with! Niko and Mika died because of Mistress Frost! Katsumi died because she shot herself in the head! Shojiki killed himself in the boy's bathroom in UA, and that bathroom has been closed off ever since! AND NOW YUKO WENT INSANE BECAUSE OF THIS STUPID PARADOX?!

Yuko: She's.....the reason why....Shojiki and Katsumi......went insane.....and killed themselves...

Kotoa: *is silent for a second when she first hears this*

Kotoa: *she soon speaks up after processing what she has just heard from Yuko*

Kotoa: ...what?

Yuko: *faints*

Kotoa: *sighs* Yuri. Lily. Grab the knife from Yuko's hands and cut the rope. After that, carry Yuko to the hostipal. I have to go back to UA and explain to our teacher about the whole situation. Also, Yuri. How did you know that Yuko was in danger?

Lily: *she cuts the ropes and takes out the knife in Yuko's hands. She puts the knife far, far away from any of them. Afterwards, she picks up Yuko and carried her in her arms. Lily soon ran with Yuko to go to the hospital*

Yuri: We're sisters, if one of us is in trouble, we'll know.

Kotoa: Ok. See you guys back at UA.

Kotoa runs to the school and Yuri runs after Lily so that she can also help Yuko get to the hostipal in time. Later, Kotoa arrived back at UA and explained to her teacher about the whole situation. About Paradox, about Yuko, and everything else. Kotoa soon notices that Lily walked into the classroom.

Kotoa walked towards Lily.

She needed answers.

Kotoa: Is she okay?

Kotoa had a look of concern on her face. She repeated what she said to Lily.

Kotoa: Is Yuko ok?

Lily: ...no.

Kotoa was silent. She knew that this was going to happen. Yuko was just going to end up like all the others. Young and dead. Never to be able to see their friends again. Kotoa looked back at Lily with a serious face, hiding the fact that her depression has increased to being twice the original amount.

Kotoa: ...Anything else that I need to know?

Lily: They said her stab wound was too bad...

Kotoa: ...I see.

Lily: *nods her head*

Kotoa: *looks at Lily, like she is staring into her soul* Dead or Alive?

Kotoa: *is still staring into Lily's soul* Is Yuko dead or alive?

Kotoa was staring at Lily, waiting for an answer from her. Is Yuko dead? Is Yuko alive? What is the answer? And why does this always happen?!

Lily: ...almost dead.

Kotoa: I see. How is Yuri dealing with this news?

Lily: *sweats*

Kotoa: I take that answer as Yuri is not doing so good. I can understand that. It is difficult to deal with the death of a loved one, espically a family member.

Lily: ...I didn't tell her yet.

Kotoa: What? What do you mean?

Lily: .....I haven't told her yet...

Kotoa: You haven't told Yuri that her own sister may be dead?!

Lily: *yells* SHE LEFT BEFORE I GOT THE CHANCE!

Kotoa: *does not say anything*

Lily: *does not say anything*

Kotoa: ....I see.

There was a long moment of silence before Kotoa spoke up again.

Kotoa: Awhile ago, Nami actually told me that you are taking care of a child named Riku. Why is that?

Kotoa: *starts to raise her voice* First off, who is Riku's parents? Do they know that you are taking care of their child? Why do you even have this child with you? Can you please explain to me what the fuck is even going on right now? I am finding out more and more things people are keeping away from me.

Kotoa was quiet for a second and then calmed down.

Kotoa: Sorry...

Lily: It's.....Niko's.

Kotoa: I......I am shocked...

Lily: *nods her head*

A long momwnt of silence occured before Kotoa spoke up.

Kotoa: Lily?

Lily: ..?

Kotoa: Who would have to take care of Riku if you were to die?

Lily: *looks down* Yuri probably.

Kotoa: And what is Yuri dies, who would take care of Riku then?

Another moment of silence occurred and then Kotoa spoke up again.

Kotoa: Would it be Kanashimi? Nami? Rana? Me?

Lily: *shrugs* That's if you want to. I won't push you.

Kotoa: Ok. I see.

Kotoa looks at her watch that she has on. She looks at the time and notices that it is getting closer and closer for the school day to end.

Kotoa: It is getting late and school is going to end soon. Do you want to talk about this more tomorrow?

Lily: *nods her head*

The bell rings, ending the school day.

Kotoa: See you tomorrow.

Lily: *waves goodbye to Kotoa*

Kotoa walks home to her apartment while Lily walks towards Riku. Riku runs at Lily and an officer is behind her.
