Hawks didn't like to talk about his life outside of hero work, his father was an abiusive drug user and Hawks grew up protecting his mother and sister. He trained to become a hero to get stronger. He still lived in the same house as his family as he choudun't leave his mother and sister with their dad. He choudun't forgive himself if he let that bastard hurt them anymore.

Y/N POV

I sat on the floor crying my eyes out. Dad had goten high and beaten me up. Despite my eforts to fight I got large bruises on my thigs, arms, shoulders, a bleeding lip and a gash just above my eye as dad had used his quirk. "Fierce claws" sharp metal like claws that can cut trough anything. My quirk was just that i choud talk to birds.

I got up and with whatever strenght I had left I stumbeld in to the bathroom to get a firstaid kit. I first got a bath. It was ice cold as dad had used all the hot water, but the coldnes felt good on my wounds anyway. I got out and raided the cuboard to find the firstaid kit. I disinfected my lip and the gash, I put bandages and then just sat on the floor procesing everything.

Eventualy I stood up and went to my room. I just went to bed and cried in my pillow. I gues I just exausted myself cos I fell asleep sometime after.

~Time skip to evening~

Hawks POV

I was so exited that I practicly flew out of my office. I had gotten a deal on a house and I choud finally move out with my mom and my sister. I met one of my sidekicks on the way out and huged them, witch propaply took them a bit off guard.

I got home that evening to find dad passed out on the couch. I scoffed and put my jacket on the hook that was right next to the door. I walked in the kitchen and to my horror I saw blood. I looked closer, it was not alot but not just a papercut eather. I bursted back in to the livingroom. I looked at dads hands, they had blood allower them, I started to panick. I ran top speed in to my sister Y/N's room. Her face was bandaged and she looked exausted. She was standing infront of a mirror. She just stared.

-Y/N? I asked with worry. She didn't awnser. I stepped closer and hugged her, I could feel her stiffening but then relaxin. She started shaking and then she started crying. I turned her to face me and I was met with red puffy eyes and bloody bandages. I hugged her tightly and rubbed her back, letting her cry it out.

Y/N POV

-Dad got high again.. I said.

-Fucking bastard, he can't face me like a man he needs to go after you. Keigo groweld. He was furious, our "dad" is lower than scum,

-I can't let this go on anymore. Lucky I saved up a lot. We need to get mom and get out of here. He said and looked in my closet.

-What if he finds us? I asked shivering.

-I'll handle it. Pack up and I'll go wake up mom. I did as instructed and packed up what little I had.

I went downstairs to find mom cowering behind Keigo as dad yealed. His speeche was slurred and he smelled of alcohol, he was standing infront of the door. I quickly got behind my brother aswell.

-You can't take them! Dad screamed. I covered my ears, Keigo had a dark look in his eye.

-I will take them somewhere safe. You can see us next when you have cleaned up, sobered up and cut off that bad temper. Keigo said. He had spread his wings to look more intimidating.

-Keigo, you listen to your father!! The man groweld.

-No D/N you listen to me! Keigo roared over him. Dad's face droped. Keigo had called him by his name. I looked up to see a year roll down my brother's cheek but he still stood his ground showing no emotions.

-You will let us, out that door and you WILL sober up and change. Everyone was quiet. Dad just quietly moved out of the way. Mom took my hand and Keigo led us out of the house and in to the streets. We headed to the house Keigo had bought. Mom went to get a bath and Keigo and me sat on the couch.

-Were finally safe.. I whispered. He wrapped his crimson wings around me and pulled me in to a hug.

-I wont ever let him touch you or mom.. never again will I let you down. He said.
