Pain. That was all Midoriya could feel as his body hunched over as a four mechanical insect legs emerged from his back and his clothes slowly began to melt off.

"What's happening to me?!?" He huffed out in agony as a black liquid began to ooze out of his mouth, eyes and ears. The searing heat of the transformation was the only thing keeping him conscious as he cried out in pain and fear.

His eyes turned a pure white as the vivacious black liquid engulfed his face, forming a helmet while blue lightning arched off of his body. The sheer pain he felt caused him to collapse to the ground as the world around slowly faded to black. "Host body successfully acquired." Was the last Midoriya heard before he blacked out.

How long had it been since it last had a host? The scarab couldn't remember as it began to perform some routine tests on its hosts body. As it did so, it reviewed the boys memories in an attempt to better familiarise itself with the world - how strange, the species of this world seems to have developed special abilities during the course of its Evolutionary. It would have to look into this later when its host Midoriya regained his conscience.

The more the scarab reviewed Izuku's memories, it found that he was one of the few more rarer subcategory of humanity, a "quirkless" as they were designated. How useful, with this knowledge blending in with the humans won't be as big a problem.

Lifting it's face to the sky, the scarab activated the thrusters on its back and launched itself upward, wanting to get a better view of the world. Within a matter of seconds, it breached the stratosphere before coming to an abrupt halt before turning back to face the small planet beneath it.

"So this is what the Earth looks like." It noted as it scanned the planet and noting the multitude of satellites floating around, broadcasting multitude of information to the planet down below. Seeing their usefulness, the scarab made quick work in subtly hacking into and synching itself with the devices.

Once it had finished, the scarab began to prepare for it's decent as it recalled the it's host had a parent and one that would very much be worried right about now if he didn't get back soon. Cutting it's thrusters, the scarab let itself free fall back to Earth and angled itself to land right back onto Dagobah Beach.

What it hadn't anticipated was that someone else had arrived moments before it left and was still there. Not had it anticipated that its bonding process with Midoriya had taken more energy out of it then it realised and was quickly about to learn.

'What was that strange person? Were they a new hero?' Melissa thought as she walked around Dagobah Beach, unsure as to what she had seen mere moments prior. 'That suit they were wearing looked so advanced. If only they'd stayed a bit longer, I might have been able to ask them about it.' She internally groaned before her eyes landed on a lone recently abandoned red bag that dangled half hazardly off of a long, rusted metal pole that jutted out of the ground.

Her curiosity peeked as she wandered over to the bag and pulled it down from where it hung. A quick look at it's contents told her that it belonged to a student, a highly intelligent one at that judging from the burnt and slightly damp note book filled with extremely detailed Quirk analysis.

She put the book back into the bag before closing it up and holstering it over her shoulder, maybe it's owner could tell her something about the mysterious figure that had taken to sky? But as she turned to leave, something smashed into the ground next to her with a loud boom, causing her to fall onto her back from the aftershock.

"Ow! What the he-!" She exclaimed before freezing mid sentence as the strange person she saw from earlier was laying prone on the ground right in front of her before they let out a light groan and suddenly his armour began to slink off, revealing a naked teenager close to her age with viridian green hair and diamond shaped freckles on his face much to her shocked astonishment.

"Dad!" She cried out as she rushed over to the boy and checked for a pulse. "Please do me a favour and don't be dead." She begged before finding it causing her to sigh in relief before noticing the strange looking scarab that looked as if it had burrowed itself onto his back.

Deciding to file her questions away for later, she decided to try and carry him just as her dad appeared. "I heard you calling sweetie! What's seems to be the - Oh my God! What happened to him!" He exclaimed upon seeing the unconscious boy in his daughter's arms.

"I don't know! He just fell out off the sky!" She yelled as she heaved under the boys weight, "Now could you help me carry him? Please? He's really heavy!" She grunted as she half dragged him over to her dad.

Seconds later and the pair managed to move the unconscious teen back to their car and pulled a simple blanket over him to preserve his modesty. He groaned in discomfort on several occasions as the pair checked him for any injuries, occasionally poking the strange scarab on his spine to see if something was going to happen.

If anything, while she waited for him to wake up, Melissa found herself intrigued by the boy, his almost innocent held a stark contrast with the multiple oddly shaped explosion scars that marred his body. Her eyes traced over his body, taking in every little detail she could before glancing over to the bag that she assumed belonged to him.

She recalled the name written on the bottom on the book and looked back at the boy, "Izuku Midoriya." She muttered softly before flinching as she watched his eyes slowly flicker open, not knowing that their meeting will change both their lives forever.

Yikes, this took a bit longer to do than I wanted and I'm still not entirely sure if this was my best or not. But anyways here you guys go, an entirely new story to enjoy!

I have big plans for this story and it will include multiple takes on my own versions of DC heroes and The Blue Beetle will take inspiration from the movie version in both design, abilities and A.I so expect female Khaji-Da to interact a lot with Izuku. The main ship of the story is Izuku x Melissa and that's all you get to know for now because I don't want to spoil any plans I have for this story. I don't have a definitive ending planned for this but I do have a good few chapters already planned out. I also have another two stories in the work I want to get out after the second chapter of this is complete. The main theme song for the story is Drift by RZA.
