Revelation

"It's hard to believe that it's only been three months since we met." The feminine voice of Khaji spoke within his head warming a small chuckle from Midoriya as he dodged yet another training bot, "And it's thanks to you that my life has changed for the better!" He remarked happily as he turned his right fist into a plasma gun and blasted a charging training bot before creating a blade in his left fist into a blade and decapitating another one.

"Alright Izuku, I think that's enough testing for the day." Melissa's voice blasted over the speaker as the rest of the robots powered down much to his displeasure. "Aww! But I just starting to get into the swing of it!" He whined as his armour disappeared from his body and tras forming into a ocean blue tracksuit. "Relax Izuku," Khaji reassured him, "We can get back to smashing robots once you've finished your mandatory therapy session with Doctor Jenkins."

Midoriya smiled at the Scarabs words, "Your right." He said after a moment of silence as he turned to leave the room. He couldn't believe how much his life had changed within the span of three months! He made two new friends, his family now lived on I-Island so that Melissa and Davide could help him study and help him learn more about the Scarab without worry, he even began going to therapy on the scarabs request with it noting that a "mental unhealthy warrior won't live long on the battlefield", of course the therapy, as it turns out, proved to be extremely beneficial for Izuku as it helped him restore all the confidence he'd lost in himself and allowed him to become more open about things.

Not only that but thanks to David Shield, he was also able to keep up with his studies without worrying about his teachers purposely lowering his grades. His mom ended up suing the school for every last penny they had which ultimately lead to it being shut down permanently.

He smiled at the memory as he opened the door to Doctor Jenkins' office.

"Ahh! Midoriya! Just the person I was waiting for!" He exclaimed as he gestured over to the chair opposite him. "First of all, how are you feeling today?"

The session had lasted for a good thirty minutes with Midoriya finally getting to unload the main bulk of his trauma, most of which was caused by Bakugou and his peers, which was something Jenkins made note of as he listened to Midoriya.

"Thank you Doctor! I feel much better now that I've got that off my chest." Izuku called out as he left the office with a satisfied smile on his face before turning and racing off towards Melissa's room.

"Oh that poor boy..." Jenkins muttered once Izuku had vanished from his sight, "How he hasn't killed himself yet is beyond me." He continued as he poured himself a glass of Bourbon whiskey. It had been three months and he feels like he's only just barely scratched the surface of Midoriya's trauma.
...
"I think you nearly broke your therapist today." Khaji noted causing Midoriya to pause mid step as process what his friend had said, "You think it's that bad?" He asked quietly, unsure how to feel at the moment.

"If you were paying attention, you would have noticed a slight shift in his facial features as you described your childhood friendship with Bakugou." Khaji explained causing Midoriya to wince as he recalled exactly how his "friend" had treated him shortly after he revealed that he was Quirkless.

Shaking his head, Midoriya banished his negative memories and resumed his walk to Melissa's room. A few minutes later, he was standing outside of her work room where she and her dad were currently in a heated discussion about something that clearly sounded important. His Scarab enhanced senses let him catch the tail end of their conversation.

"-have to tell him dad!" He heard Melissa cry out in an angry tone, "And I will but not yet! Midoriya needs more time!" David yelled back in a more tired yet agitated tone. Izuku frowned, what did he need to know?

Deciding to stop beating around the bush, he faked a cough to let his presence be known, catching the arguing family off guard.

"Izuku?! How... how long have you been there?" Melissa asked hesitantly upon seeing the frown on his face. He arched an eyebrow in curiosity, "Long enough." He answered before turning to David with a sharp expression, "so you mind telling me what exactly it is that I need to know?"

With a sheepish look on his face, David let out a tired sigh before turning his computer to face Izuku, "Tell me, what you see?" He asked much to Izuku's confusion as he glanced down at the illuminated screen showing a strange object that jutted out half hazardly from a glacier, before a sudden surge of shocked recognition coursed through his system courtesy.

"That's a long lost Reach Research Ship! It's name roughly translated in human language is The Converging Search!" Khaki exclaimed in disbelief causing Izuku's eyes to widen in disbelief. "What...?" He accidentally muttered aloud, catching the attention of David.

"Judging from that reaction, I'm guessing that you do know?" He asked to which he received a shaky nod from Izuku. "Apparently it's a long lost Reach Research Vessel called The Converging Search. The same people that made Khaji." He relayed to them.

"If we can go there, I might be able to improve myself with the vessels tech." Khaji exclaimed gleefully in his mind causing Izuku to smile, "Is that so?" He asked before turning to face Melissa and David. "We're going to the ship!" He announced with a huge grin on his face, stunning the pair.

"By going there, Khaki can use the tech to improve itself and the leftover tech could be used to for study, maybe even help you improve that nanotech project your working on." He added hastily upon seeing their hesitant looks.

"Caution should be advised when we do visit the vessel." Khaji warned as Izuku turned to leave the room, "The Converging Search is still a scientific research vessel so who knows what kind of experiments or creatures are prowling around on the inside, if life still exists within it. I would advise lethal force should you continue with the plan." The Scarab explained, causing a pained look to dawn on Izuku's face.

"Lethal force...?" He hesitantly asked as he slowed his walk, "Whatever life is on that ship could prove fatal to humanity should it ever escape," Khaji explained slowly so as to not upset its host. "If it helps think of it as mercy killing instead because if there is something alive on said ship then it could be in undeniable agony. It would be very unfair to try and save something that can't be saved."

"...Your right." Izuku said after a moment of silence, "Heroes can't save everyone, you taught me that Khaji and they will most definitely kill if push comes to shove. I just have to remember that when I become a hero..." He continued as he rubbed away some of the tears that had began to form in his eyes.

"Come on Izuku, chin up, we have an adventure to prepare for especially if we're going to the North Pole." Izuku nodded his head, "Your right..." before he could continue Khaji also added, "By the way, while you were sleeping, I made sure to do some investing with the money you made selling your All Might collection, so congratulations! Your a multinational billionaire now!"

"Wait... What?!?!

And done! Second chapter is complete and now I'm going on to the second new story I'm writing then I'll go onto the third new story after that then I'll be updating AC: Remnants. Side note I forgot to mention, AC: Remnants will have some elements from all AC games as well as Watch Dogs. As for this story, well I assume most of you have seen, played or heard of Doom, so don't be surprised if certain weapons that Blue Beetle makes or alien creatures that appear look familiar cause the most definitely will be from Doom. In fact, look forward to the upgrades Khaji will add to itself when that happens.

If you have any questions, put them here:

Enjoy!
