Ojiro did not need to be told that for an omega he was very plain and average looking. He was aware. He had slanted small eyes, plain short blonde hair, average height and had a tail. That was his quirk. A thick and heavy tail. He has also been told that the only attractive thing about him is an Omega so he will be lucky to have someone even consider him. As if that didn't hurt his feelings. He told his parents about it who did not take kindly to that and thankfully got the Alpha expelled from the middle school and put into proper Alpha training since he was lacking. Ojiro was just lucky to have parents and four older brothers to care enough and not care about him being the only Omega. His mom is a Beta, dad an Alpha and his brothers were either Alpha's or Beta's. It was difficult but, they all took classes for his sake so he appreciated and loved them to the moon and back

"Mashi come join me for a study session" He turned to Izuku one of the more excitable Omega's in the class. Surprisingly Ojiro and him bonded very quickly telling each other secrets that the other people in the class don't know. It was nice.

"Sure I'm coming." He grabbed his stuff and joined Izuku and his friends including Shinsou in the back. He had held a grudge against the purple haired Alpha for a bit until they talked it out and he forgave him. They had a good friendship now that they passed that hurdle. "What are we working on?"

"I'm surprised you joined us today." He felt his eye twitch a bit at that but ignored it. Why was it always such a surprise when he decided to do something or join anything? It's not like it was the first time and that seemed to always be Iida's response to him being in any kind of social situation

"He joins us once a week, sure you wouldn't have forgotten that Class Prez?" It was Shinsou who stared at Iida who sputtered before choosing to not say anything and get right into science- apparently that's what we were doing. Ojiro stared at Shinsou for a few sharing a look before quickly looking away back down at his book. Usually the boy was quiet and didn't interact much if not needed.

"I think he's too worried about other things, kero that's why he forgot what day it is, kero" That is understandable. They had exams coming up and weren't those always fun to do. The rest of the study period went by fast and it was lunch time before they knew it. They always went to lunch after study period. Ojiro sat with his normal friend group this time even though he kept looking over at the table where Izuku and his friends sat.

"Something seems to be bothering you." He turned to Tokoyami who raised an eyebrow at him. He waved a hand not wanting to worry them. Being the only omega in his usual friend group equal to protective friends which wasn't fun to deal with at times.

"You know how Iida always makes a comment about me being somewhere or joining anything really." He had everyone at the table's attention now "Well I was going to let it go but Shinsou stood up for me which surprised me you know? He's normally so quiet and reserved but, he seemed a bit annoyed with Iida today. I don't know I'm thinking too hard about all of this." This was new for Ojiro he's normally not frazzled so easily but, he was comfortable and felt safe with them so his true personality tended to leak and mix with his school personality.

"I think it's okay to think about this, could it be you might like him?" He blinked squinting his eyes at Shoji who was smiling. The big jerk.

"I do not." He was unaware of his tail wagging conveying the very opposite of what he was saying

"I think your tail is telling the truth." He turned to look and low and behold the traitor of a tail was wagging happily. The audacity. He grabbed his tail and decided to hold it to keep from anymore mishaps happening.

"Let's change the subject." He looked around real quick to see if anyone noticed and to his embarrassment Hitoshi saw and smirked before looking back down at his food and nodding along to whatever conversation he was having.

"I think the feeling is mutual." He could just smack Hagakure.

"I said change the subject!" He let go of his tail allowing it to wag before it stilled on his own. They took pity on his soul and changed the subject about miscellaneous things including classes and what not. Once lunch was over it was time for the rest of the classes and the final class of the day was heroics with All Might. He absolutely loved that class because just like most people All Might was one of his favorite heroes. He wasn't an All Might fanboy or heir like Izuku was but he did adore the man. He was the friendliest, kindest and most genuine alpha to walk Japan who wouldn't be attracted to him in any shape or form? Even villains adored the man.

"Your partners will be listed on the screen! Once you guys find them, change into your hero costumes and meet me out on Ground Beta where I will tell you what you will be doing." Ojiro jolted quickly looking at the board for his name. That was the first time he zoned out thinking about heroes in a long time

"I'M WITH THAT ICY HOT BASTARD!" He winced. He doesn't think that's the best idea All Might has had but, there had to be a reason. Before Bakugo can blow up something.

"I heard you all the way outside Young Bakugo! As you can see I have paired everyone up with someone they are either not compatible with or have not worked together due to differences! I did this on purpose because in the real world you will work with people you don't like, you don't know and don't trust. You will need help from those same people as well. This is where you learn to put aside your pride and ego in order to accomplish a mission. Then you can scream later on once the mission is done. Now HURRY UP!" Everyone jumped and left to the locker rooms. Bakugo was humbled enough that he just grumbled and his scent didn't permeate the air as much as it was when he learned he was with Icy hot. He really shouldn't be worried about them he was being paired up with Shinsou. Great.

"Can't wait to work together partner." Ojiro jolted hitting the locker turning to look up at the culprit. He was always so quiet and sneaky.

"You know something. You're going to make one hell of an underground hero. You got the technique and skill for it." He turned away to hide his blushing face. He said all of that because he scared him but, he ended up overly complimenting him "I'm sorry I-" He went to apologize for making him uncomfortable but stopped at the look he was giving him. His eyes were wide, mouth open and cheeks flushed pink. "S-Shinsou?"

"That was the nicest thing someone has ever told me." He blinked. Oh? Really? He was never told something like that?

"Well...it's the truth. Your quirk is best suited for underground work like Aizawa sensei I guess that's why the two of you work together and he's basically your mom right?" Hitoshi stuttered

"H-How did you-" Ojiro decided to be a little risky and put his hand on his chest feeling how fast his heart was beating. He got close to him to whisper so no one else can hear

"Don't worry your secret is safe with me. The two of you work flawlessly and Aizawa is the best teacher. I can't wait for your debut, maybe we can work together from time to time after graduation yeah?" Ojiro left him stunned there and giving him space so he can calm his own racing heart. He did his best to ignore his wagging tail since it was a dead giveaway to how he was feeling.

"I-I, w-what, y-you, wow." Ojiro smelled the air as a soft lavender smell permeated the air. He didn't realize that he was smiling and swaying side to side softly. "You're adorable."

"2 MINUTES TO MAKE IT TO GROUND BETA" The loud robotic voice over the intercom jolted both of them out of their stupor. They looked at each other with a shy look and grin.

"I think that's our cue to leave." He simply nodded as the two of them left and the soft lavender smell never quite left and Ojiro still felt relaxed by the smell. He knew it was Hitoshi's and honestly? He can get used to it. They made it into Ground Beta where everyone else was.

"I'm glad to see that everyone is with their partners now lets get to business. There are 20 of you, 10 pairs in total. There are 30 people who are out there who need to be saved in different areas. Each pair is to rescue three of them no more." He pointedly looked at Bakugo, Deku and Todoroki. "And no less than that. This is for everyone to get rescue points and learn how to rescue someone. That can't happen if one pair decides to rescue 15 because they're in a competition." He once again looked at Bakugo

"WHY ARE YOU ONLY LOOKING AT ME."

"Because you are the problem and one of the reasons why we have so much unnecessary damage." Bakugo growled but said nothing else allowing All Might to continue

"There are different disaster zones and each of you will be in the designated area. The watches I gave each of you will tell you which area to go and to stay in. They have all been fit for each of your quirks. Good luck and goodbye." With a wave All Might took off in the sky and left everyone to figure everything for themselves.

"I guess this is our cue?" Ojiro turned to Shinsou who was in his personal space but, he didn't mind. He nodded and let him lead the way. He really liked his hero costume, it's new but neat. It was a black skin tight body suit with purple lines and a black cape with a hint of yellow at the top. He still had his voice changer and capture weapon. Heavily influenced by Aizawa. Made him lowkey jealous of his own plain judo uniform/costume. He now wishes he would have put more detail into it. "You listening Mashi?" He once again spaced out

"Wha- no, I'm sorry can you repeat what you said please." Hitoshi huffed with a light smile

"I was saying we should head to where the broken bridge and water is. There's a person that needs to be rescued under it. Then we can head to the back alleys that's where the second person is and finally the last person is in a dilapidated building that will fall if you breathe wrong." He filed all this information away thinking of plans as he nodded and followed his lead. The first person a.k.a dummy was easy to grab considering it was in a nook where only its feet got wet. That one was taken to the save area. They then made there way to the second person and it was in fact a maze. They were a little tricky but Mashi spotted them hiding behind a dumpster with boxes in front of it. In real life that would have been the perfect spot to hide from a villain.

"We ready for the last one?" Ojiro asked as they took the second person to the save area and prepared themselves or the last one.

"As ready as we can be." The both of them made their way swiftly to the abandoned building. It was in fact crumbly and looked as if it would fall if they even stepped near it.

"I don't even know if it's safe to go in there." Ojiro got a hum of agreement as the two of them made their way inside cautiously. The ceiling was crumbling, along with the floor and every step they took made everything creak

"Okay, we got to be very careful. One wrong move and this thing is going down." Mashi nodded his head in agreement. They checked each floor carefully the only slip up was when Hitoshi slid down a slab of concrete to the floor below but, was not harmed. They got together watching each other's back until they got to the top corner where the 'person' was. "Of course their in the most dangerous fucking corner." It was rare to hear the boy swear. It shouldn't have been attractive but it was. Hitoshi jumped across the broken floor, grabbed them and was about to move back when the whole building shook. They both shared a horrified look.

"Fuck." If Hitoshi was going to cuss so was Ojiro the situation called for it.

"Mashirao-" There was no time to think, Ojiro was looking at the way the center of the floor was caving

"Jump out the window using your scarf I'm right behind you." Hitoshi paused for a second before turning around and jumping out the window. Mashirao went to jump right after him but, the floor gave away and his world tilted and went black.

Ojiro woke up very achy and to the smell of antiseptic. He blinked away surprised to feel that he had no headache whatsoever but his back hurt a lot and so did his tail and legs. It felt like he was squished which was the case considering he failed to get out of a collapsing building.

"You're up baby boy?" He turned to the soft voice looking at Recovery girl. "You took a nasty fall and poor Hitoshi here was frantic. Refused to leave until you woke up and he knew you were better." Ojiro turned his head to the side to see said purple haired boy sitting in a chair with his hand holding his. Why he didn't notice his hand was being held? "I'll come back to check on you once the two of you talked." He blinked watching as Hitoshi stirred opening his eyes a bit before focusing on him

"How do you feel? How's your back? I was scared." The Alpha was giving off stress pheromones so in retaliation Ojiro gave off calming ones and they worked since Hitoshi slumped over into the bed "There was so much blood and I just-I forgot what we were doing- I can't have nothing happen to you, you're mine. I'm supposed to protect you, some Alpha I make-" All Ojiro got out of that was he wants to be his Alpha

"Y-you want to be m-my Alpha?" His omega was doing somersaults. So was his scent with the way it permeated the air. Hitoshi paused, blushing from his neck to the tips of his ears but turned to him with a determined look

"Today 100 percent confirmed I need to stop being a coward and tell you. I like you Mashirao, at first it was friends but I want more. I can't stand the idea of someone snatching you up because I'm too much of a coward to make a move. We can figure out all the complicated stuff later once you're better but I need to know now. Do you accept my offer of being your Alpha?" This was too much for Ojiro to take in. He doesn't even know when they got on first name basis but, that was a thing now.

"I accept." Hitoshi let out a breath slumping completely over Ojiro. His pleased scent covered in and honestly? Ojiro was confused and they had to talk but, for now he will accept the peace that they have right now.
