They were third years now and they had gone through hell and back together. They had formed a pack quick and early having experienced more than any class attending U.A has ever gone through. So, it only made sense that they were to form a pack. After seeing too many of his packmates damn near die he made it his duty to befriend all of them and be as close as he possibly can be with all of them. Which is how he found himself caring for a heartbroken Kirishima. He had fallen for Bakugo at first and they dated for a few months. Shoji honestly thought they were an alright couple but, things went sour when Bakugo left Kirishima for Monoma. The class was disappointed in him for a bit but, they eventually got over it. Ejiro avoided him for about a month needing space before they both had a private conversation once the ordeal died down. Now, in the beginning of their third year everyone coming back from their internships over the summer there was something in the air. Just about everyone was together, either bonded or waiting for after graduation.

"Mezo!" Mezo turned just in time to get engulfed in Kirishima's arms. Him, Tetsutetsu, Koji and Sato are the only ones who are taller than him and can make him feel small for once in his life. Surprisingly only his-self and Kirishima were single in the class. Mineta got expelled during second year because during his rut he attempted to force himself on an Omega first year student which is highly looked down upon in society. Immediate expulsion and he was replaced with Shinsou. Everyone was familiar with Shinsou already despite his cold exterior. The Alpha thought he wouldn't fit in but, he fit in quite perfectly and became an official part of the pack after two months. "It's so good to see you! I missed you over the summer!" Kirishima was very exuberant with his affection. Granted he was like this with everyone but, Shoji allowed himself to feel a little special.

"It's nice to see you too Ejiro" He smiled with his real mouth and his quirk. Him and Kirishima talked for a bit before he bounded over to his other friends to talk their ear off. Shoji took the time to watch him and study him. Kirishima's hair no longer stood straight up. It was like a lion's mane falling down to his lower back. Shoji's hair was about mid back and more tamed than Ejiro's but still wavy. He also doesn't know what he was eating or being fed but he was a full grown man now. He was a whopping '6"8 built like a line backer and shit if Shoji didn't feel a little small at '6"3 and ripped meaning he wasn't bulked like he was. He had turned 18 too already whereas Mezo turns 18 in a few months.

"I wonder when the two of you are going to stop dancing around each other." Mezo jumped not expecting his friend to be that close to him. He turned to Tokoyami who was looking up at him with a smirk. "Honestly, it's cute and exhausting at the same time." He was going to protest but Sato beat him to it. He has no idea where the sugar man came from though.

"I know what you're thinking. Quit it. Literally all of us see how he is with you. How long before either one of them finally crack Fumikage?" Fumi pretended to think hard about this before coming to a conclusion

"Three months top." Shoji decided that now was a perfect time to ignore them in favor of slipping away to talk with some other people with sense. He failed to notice or feel the eyes that were on him though as he made his way to talk with Ojiro and Toru.

"He's not going anywhere babe." Kirishima jumped smiling sheepishly at Mina who was smirking up at him. "When are you going to make your move eh? This is our last year. You're not going to wait around until it's too late you pining idiot." Ejiro turned as red as his hair as he glanced over again at Mezo who was looking in his direction but, he averted his eyes back to Mina. Sero snorted at the look.

"You're absolutely horrible. The sweetest person in the class and you're scared. He is literally the sweetest person in the class with you neck and neck with him." Ejiro blushed at the compliment but, was thinking that, that was the problem. He was a sweetheart who a lot of people cared about and that made his blood pressure run up to astronomical levels.

"He looks like he's going to have an aneurysm. Let's drop it for now. This is something he has to do." Ejiro was glad for the distraction as he decided to think and come up with how he was going to bring this up and court the Omega.

Mezo was noticing a difference between him and Ejiro. Something shifted in the air between them but, it was not anything bad. He liked the change but, was scared he was going to mess up so he was just going with the flow. Ejiro would get him cute little gifts, spend time with him studying, training and watching movies as well as accompanying him on trips outside of the school whenever he wanted company. Shoji wasn't sure what transpired but, he was enjoying it a lot. He liked the individual attention he was getting from him. He felt on top of the world with him and, he couldn't fathom why Bakugo would throw this away. Well, now he was getting the attention and, call him selfish but he didn't want to share this with anyone.

"Are you comfortable?" At the moment Mezo was cuddling with Ejiro in his nest watching a movie. His nest consisted of all the trinkets and plush that was bought for him including some clothes from said Alpha. This was a big blaring sign in all colors smacking him in the face about Ejiro's true intentions and Mezo's true feelings to allow all of us but, he was choosing to play stupid. He wanted Kirishima to make the first move because of Alpha pride and also, there was a small insecure part of him that was convinced this was all a ruse.

"I'm very comfy Ejiro. Thank you." His mask was off which ding, ding! A green flag. Ejiro was a walking green flag if he was being honest. He snuggled back more into the Alpha letting out a little purr at the way Ejiro squeezed him pulling him closer. They were both flushed against each other both in shorts and a tank top. It was hot in his room anyway. They stayed like that for a few before Mezo shifted to get comfy but, his world twirled when Ejiro spun him around to face him. Now Mezo was face to face with Ejiro who was blushing but, determined. Mezo had no mask to hide his bashfulness so his blush was on full display.

"You have a very pretty face. I really like looking at you." Mezo was at a loss of words. Ejiro tenderly caressed his face and neck while Mezo subconsciously leaned into the gentle touch. For someone so big and to be an Alpha he was awfully gentle with Mezo. That was another thing he noticed. He was gentle, kind, soothing and a safe space for him and his Omega. He felt content and safe with him.

"....Thank you...I like your face a lot too." He was feeling embarrassed with the attention but, Ejiro didn't allow him to look away. He looked at him a little longer bringing their foreheads together

"I think I gave enough hints for this not to be a surprise...I've been courting you for the last month." Mezo blinked smiling at him

"I know." Ejiro looked surprised before continuing with his question

"So does that mean you like it? You encourage it and want to be together?" Mezo let out a laugh pressing a tentative kiss to his jaw

"We kind of have been the last month but, I guess we can make it official." Ejiro paused before laughing and cuddling Mezo even closer

"I promise to be the best human, boyfriend and Alpha to you! I won't let you down, I'll be perfect just for you." Mezo had no doubt in his mind that Kirishima was going to stick by what he said. Not that there was much to change but, Mezo didn't want to spoil the moment. He simply basked in the feeling of finally having the Alpha as his own.
