Sunday came around a little too fast for Bakugo's taste and he was having second thoughts. He was worried about what his family would think. He knew he didn't have luck with the last Alpha, needing to place a restraining order and file domestic abuse cases and- ugh horrible time and he rather not go down that road.

"Do you got everything sweetie?" He turned his head to his pack mom who was fretting over him. With good reason, he did not want to end up the way he did last time. He will be damned.

"I got scent patches, pepper spray, defense keys, and a Taser along with my emergency button." The emergency button is something new that was added. He never knew he would actually need it.

"Good, if you're every uncomfortable don't be scared to tell one of us, okay?" He nodded his head. Normally he would have lost his patience but, his pack mom was different. She didn't deserve his attitude, everyone else did.

"Okay mom." He let her hug him as he left the room

"I can hit him with the car and make it look like an accident." He rolled his eyes giving Touya a deadpan look

"I can take care of my damn self." He ignored him ruffling his hair roughly "Fuck! Quit it you bastard!" Touya ignored him continuing to press his buttons while simultaneously avoiding his swings.

"Stop bothering your brother." They both turned to see the pack dad a.k.a Enji a.k.a the old man. "Izuku will be here any minute correct? What are you guys doing today?" He frowned feeling bad about making Izuku not take his car but, him and cars with people he didn't know did not mix well.

"We are going to take the train out to the city to the zoo and grab something to eat afterwards. It was his idea." His dad visibly deflated when he said he was taking a train.

"I want you to be safe and have fun." He nodded his head trying to decipher if the butterflies in his stomach was from nervousness or excitement. A healthy combination of both to be fair. He was about to respond when the doorbell rang.

"I got to go." He made a beeline for the door opening it wide to see Izuku standing there with a bouquet of flowers. He was stunned. "Hi." He gulped and rubbed the back of his neck

"U-Um, hopefully I'm n-not over-stepping any b-boundaries but I t-thought your mom would like some flowers?" He smiled awkwardly holding out the flowers. He was surprised.

"He brought flowers for you mom!" He turned back inside the house to see his mom coming with a surprised look on her face.

"He did? That's so sweet of him." She took them smiling up at the gentle giant. "Thanks sweetheart. You be safe alright. Call me if anything." She looked up at Izuku making his legs shake. God damn what did he do? Did he breathe wrong? Give her the wrong flowers?

"Oi! Nerd, the hell you mumbling for?" He jumped looking down at Katsuki who had an eyebrow raised "Not having second thoughts are you?" He could smell the tinge of disappointment.

"No! No not that! Just, um, your mom scared the shit out of me just now. The look she just gave me. I'm pretty sure I'll be cooked meat with the heat in her eyes." It was silent for a few before Katsuki busted out laughing, laughing harder at the whine that escaped Izuku.

"She wouldn't harm a damn fly! There is nothing scary about her!" Izuku sucked his teeth pouting. This giant, basically 7 foot tall man was pouting.

"You've never been on the receiving end so you wouldn't know." Katsuki had to give him that. He was never on her end of a glare besides some slight disappointment and, even that stung and bothered him. He can only imagine being in full blown trouble or seeing her cry. God help his soul. The two of them continued to talk about endless things until they got in the train station. It was crowded and that's when Katsuki forgot it's midday and people were going back and forth to work. He kept getting bumped and more agitated until he felt a hand on his shoulder. He panicked for two seconds but, looked up to see Izuku smiling at him gently.

"It's a lot of people right? You can stand in front of me if you want." He looked away looking for the train pretending to not notice the way Katsuki slowly stood in front of him. Well he'll be damned he wasn't being touched anymore but, damn did Izuku smell delicious. He wanted to take a bite, maybe a lick...

"The train is here." There goes his train of thought. He looked and, low and behold the train was here. Packed as ever. He prepared for it and walked ahead feeling confident with Izuku standing directly behind him. He felt safe. He felt powerful. He didn't have to worry about being groped. People on the train are a different breed. He saw there was no seats but, there was a corner he can stand in. He made a beeline for it making it there just in time. He leaned against the wall of the train loving the way Izu stood over him blocking him from other peoples view. It was hot so he was wearing cargo shorts with a muscle shirt. Absolutely sinful. He looked down at his own crop top and denim shorts feeling cute. It took a lot of convincing from Shoto and Hitoshi for him to wear this and not mind his pudge. He wasn't fat but, no where near skinny. Eh. All well.

"What are the exhibits we are going to see?" He didn't want to admit it but, he wants to feed the animals and avoid the butterfly house. He's scared of butterflies because they look like moths.

"We are going to do everything today! The butterfly house is open and I want to see it." There goes his heart. Fuck. He glanced up at Izuku listening to him go on tangents about all the animals. It was the cutest thing he has seen the man do. He let him talk inputting his own thoughts here and there. The train ride was quick and Izuku pulled him along guiding him through the crowds and walking the streets. He could smell the zoo and hear the various animals. It was nice. "I got the tickets on my phone so we don't got to wait online." Someone was being nice because he hates waiting for anything. He let Izuku guide him not minding that he has not let go of his hand since they got off of the train. His hand was big and encompassed his own easily. Thoughts do not go down that path.

"Can we go to the butterfly house first" he wanted that nightmare to be over with first. Izu turned to him with the biggest grin and shine in his eyes

"really? Let's go then!" He started tugging him with vigor which katsu allowed. He liked seeing the guy act like an excitable puppy. He waited patiently in line with the giant bafoon next to him buzzing with energy. Once they handed their tickets in, they entered the oversized greenhouse. Katsuki's heart froze up in his throat as he stared at all the damn. Butterflies. Nothing that terrifying is supposed to look that pretty.

"Izuku, come on-" He turned to emptiness. He scanned the room quickly seeing his hulking figure sitting down on the floor hunched over letting all the butterflies land on him. He took his phone out to snap a few pictures before choosing to watch him from afar. He noticed other Omega's were checking him out and he chose to ignore the jealousy that flared up in his chest. Izuku was a looker, and his gentle nature does not match his looks whatsoever. It was not up to him to completely chase after Izuku. If Izu really wanted to be with him he would make an effort. He jumped when a butterfly landed on his outstretched hand. He stared at it trying not to crawl out of his skin. It's not that he was scared, he just didn't like the way they felt. At least they were pretty to look at. He looked up to see Izu totally blissed out looking at him with a smile. His cheeks flushed as he looked away and shook the butterfly off to walk up to him

"Kats, I am so in love with this place." He moved to sit up disturbing the thousands of butterflies who perched on him. Katsuki swatted at all of them to keep them from landing on him. He would legitimately freak out and, the only reason he hasn't so far was because his pride will not let him. He must not have been as subtle as he hoped because he was covered in big arms and a hulking body. "they won't land on you, they'll be all over me this time." This giant bumbling idiot was doing all of this for him. No more incidents occurred once they left the butterfly garden. The rest of the zoo was amazing! Absolutely in love with the animals. Fed pigs, alpaca, rabbits, chickens, goats and other animals. Took pictures with baby lions and panthers as well. Took plenty of pictures too. Katsuki's favorite when Izu asked a couple to take pictures and before he can ask or do anything he was swept off his feet and held above his head. The pictures definitely came out magical.

"Where are we going to eat at?" He loved the zoo but, it was 4PM and he was starving. Izu thought as he held his hand walking to who knows where

"There is this quiet little diner that I know of that is not too far from here. I think you would love the quiet given how much noise and people we were around." There is no way that Izu figured out that fast that he had limits to people and crowds.

"...Lead the way Casanova." The giant man blushed like a teen and Kats will be damned to admit that his cheeks flushed red as well. Not his fault the idiot was cute. They held hands talking idly reaching the diner that was in fact nice and quiet. He released a breath he didn't even realize he was holding.

"Follow me you two." He was too busy taking in the scenery to pay attention to Izu talking to the waitress. Once seated, they were given menu's and Kats zeroed in on the spicy menu.

"I hope you don't mind, I like spicy food." Izu rubbed his neck but all Kats did was smirk

"I absolutely love spicy food you nerd." That was all Izu needed to hear to get back to his bright self. The two of them hit it off again while eating talking about each other's families and what not. This is the most fun a date that Katsuki has ever had. He was sad to have the day ending and it didn't hit him that it was ending until he was being walked to the front door by 8 o clock

"I brought you home early so you can have time to yourself." Kats rolled his eyes fondly at that

"More like being harassed by my family." He turned to give him a once over before reaching out his arms for a bit. It took two seconds before he was scooped up into the Alphas arms and squeezed comfortably. It was nice, warm and safe. He didn't realize he left the ground until he was set back gently. He pat his cheek turning to open the door and with one final wave he entered his house closing the door gently behind him ready for the onslaught

"Well, someone smells happy." He froze realizing his happy scent was permeating the air. Well sue him for being happy, he had a good time. He looked up to see his parents coming out the living room "Safe to assume everything went well." He took one good look at mama Rei and he started spilling all the details. There was just no way he can hide anything from her, she was just so sweet and kind and gentle. Everything he always wanted in a mother if he is being honest. By the time he finished Rei was giving off her own parental, comforting pheromones'

"He was such a gentleman, so much nicer and sweeter than anyone I've tried being with or was with for that case." He shuddered at the thought of his previous relationship. He cannot deal with a brute. No way in hell.

"You're going to ruin your night by thinking too much squirt." He glanced up at Touya who was messing with his hair. "Ma made dinner come and eat so we can bother you over food." Kats swatted at him following him with an air of happiness about him. Maybe this wasn't going to be as bad as he thought.
