Shoji wasn't sure if his pack mates were that oblivious or they just didn't care about how much pain the blonde Alpha was in whenever he overused his quirk. They were in the middle of their second year at U.A and yes everyone has improved and gotten better but, mistakes happen. Shouji always notices when the blonde would overuse his quirk he would be in pain even if he is not telling anyone or he simply does a thumbs up. He doesn't like everyone just ignores his pain including himself. His crush on the blonde Alpha wouldn't just let him stay on the sidelines and watch him suffer. The first time he approached the blonde when he short-circuited, his friends left him to be but, the pulling and nagging at his gut wouldn't allow him to do that.

"Kaminari-Kun? Can you hear me?" He only got the thumbs up and wee sound making him cringe. He ran a hand through the blonde's hair, trying not to flinch. His eyes were moving back and forth rapidly but weren't cloudy. Could he hear him? Were his ears stuffed like cotton? "If you can understand me, I will take you to the dorms. Or recovery girl?" He wanted to try and communicate and it seems it worked because Denki dropped one thumb and stretched out all his fingers on his right hand. As gently as he can he grabbed the boy's hand and, they slowly walked back to the dorms, both boys ignoring the few who stared at them. His priority was making sure that Kaminari was going to be okay. His omega preened at taking care of their Alpha. He wished it would shut up at times.

Ever since he decided to take care of Kaminari he found himself gravitating toward him all the time and watching him all the time. He knew he had it bad for the blondie and he knew that both his friends and Kaminari's friends knew about his crush but, the only one who seemed to not know was Kaminari himself. Which he was fine with because he was not reading to indulge in his feelings toward the Alpha. Not yet.

"What are we going to do with you Shouji-Kun?" He had an uncharacteristic urge to hide in his arms but, he fought the urge so he can look over at Ochako who was smiling gently at him. She is a beta who knew about his dilemma and wanted to help him but, only when he was truly ready.

"I don't know! He's just so cute and I probably should do something about it before he gets swept up but, I can't. I am not ready because I don't want to ruin our friendship. His friendship is so much more important to me than losing him over my romantic feelings." This was him panicking and he normally was good at keeping his scent in since he didn't bother wearing scent patches in the dorm but, his panic leaked out subtly. He was quickly soothed by Jiro who fitted herself into his lap and arms and calmed him down with her own blueberry omegan scent. He never expected blueberries from her but, it matched.

"Don't worry so much, we can worry about those finicky feelings later yeah? Let's listen to some music." She pulled out headphones giving him one and putting the other in her own ear as she showed her screen the two of them choosing an album to listen to. He felt better already and unbeknownst to him, he was already being watched by said Alpha he was head over heels for.

"He is not going anywhere love. Jiro got him on lockdown." He jumped turning to smile sheepishly at Mina who was smirking. He could hide nothing from her and it wasn't like he was trying to anyway. His whole squad knew how he felt about Mezo but, he was too nervous to tell Mezo how he feels because he didn't want to ruin their friendship. He loves Mezo too much to lose him over something as major as feelings.

"I know, I know I just...love to watch him. He is so pretty even if others don't think so he's perfect in my eyes. He deserves the world and only the best. I want to do that for him, I want us to grow, learn and be heroes together and get married-Oh my God, I am so fucked in a good way." Denki slammed his head on the table and out of the corner of his eye he saw Mezo look his way before turning back to Jiro who patted him to get his attention. What was he going to do? He ignored the way Mina and Sero cackled at him

"I think it's manly dude that you think so highly of him! He is amazing and you guys would look so good together." Kirishima was trying to be supportive even though he found it endearing how the two of them danced around each other. It was so obvious that they loved each other but, everyone seemed to notice but the two of them! "Even though I am thinking of locking the two of you in a closet to figure out your feelings for each other." Denki shot straight up ready to throw hands with Kirishima who hardened and caught the giggles.

"I will do that the day you and Izuku stop dancing around each other!" Eijiro shut up turning as red as his hair earning cackles from the rest of the squad including Kaminari. At least it took away from how fast his heart was beating out of his chest.

"Okay Mezo, today is the day!" He was giving himself a pep talk in the mirror with a box of chocolate. Today was the white day and he was prepping himself to give the chocolate and a bear with his scent to Denki. He had received chocolate a month ago on Valentine's day and it took him about a week and a half to figure out it was in fact Denki and he was ecstatic. That meant that Denki liked him back right? That meant him pining was no longer going to be pining? Was Denki just being nice? He doubts it because everyone else who got chocolate didn't mention Denki besides his pack and when he subtly compared their chocolate to his, his was very intricate and had pretty details. Yes, he took several pictures sending it to his parents before enjoying the chocolate. It looked hand-made, down to the box and bow tie. He had kept the box and bow tie the chocolate came because it was too cute to part with yet. He threw away the mold the chocolates were in though.

"I pray he liked them, please God I hope he reciprocates. I hope he realized I made his chocolates special." Mezo had paused in his self-pep talk to listen to the voice outside his door. He recognized it as Denki's and he sounded mildly panicked. He listened to his ramblings some more. "I made the chocolate hand-made for him and everything has been fine! I want to get chocolates from him so I can just pour out my feelings. I need to tell Mezo how I feel already! I love him so much it hurts." Mezo almost dropped his chocolate in his hurry to open the door. He didn't have a mask but, fuck it that wasn't important right now.

"I knew it was you who gave me the chocolate and I made you some to show you that I really really like you a whole lot," Mezo said it all in one breath to the stock still Denki who looked at him with wide eyes. "These chocolates I made for you." Mezo handed him the chocolate watching as he slowly took it and inspected the box. It seemed he was taking everything in as he looked between the chocolate and him and back to the chocolate. Mezo was nervous and wanted to say more but, he was choked up a bit. What he wasn't expecting was for Denki to launch himself at him and, thankfully he was strong enough not to fall back with the force. What did make him melt was the way Denki was purring and letting out his citrus, lemon scent. Mezo loved it so much and found himself purring back in return holding Denki gently but, firmly.

"I love you, Mezo. You don't have to say it back, the fact that you even like me that way is enough! I'll wait for you to fall in love with me I won't go anywhere. I promise. Just promise me that you'll let me be your Alpha and you'll be my Omega. Please." Denki had buried his face in his neck taking in deep whiffs of his scent. He loved how much Denki seemed to love him. He was excited.

"I can't wait to fall in love with you, my Alpha." He thanked every deity that the two of them were alone on the floor so they can enjoy their moment together in peace.
