Alpha Bakugo X Omega Sero

A/N: This one shot is 20 pages long I swear I needed to get this out regardless of the length. I need more Omega Sero.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For a beta to conceive was weird but, to give birth to an omega pup was rare. Sero knew it. First of all, Betas didn't get pregnant like omegas did and it typically took a bond to do so, whether it be alpha, omega, or another beta. Yet here Sero was born from his beta mother and father after his mother's first heat was induced accidentally. As Sero got older he found out that even though he was biologically a male omega, his reproductive organs resembled a beta woman meaning his chances of getting pregnant was very slim. However, here is living on his own as single mom with twin sobbing toddler's making grabby hands in an obvious desire to be picked up. Sero hauled his daughters up into his arms, rocking them both.

"Oh, my poor babies," he said, noticing the other parents on the playground looking at him. "What happened?" There were always whispers. About whether or not he was really Quinn and Dawn's parent. Quinn was babbling incoherently and he pressed a kiss to her cheek. "Do you want to tell mama what's wrong?" They called him mama even though he was a guy. He never bothered to correct them though.

Quinn shook her head and buried her face in Sero's shoulder the same as Dawn did. Sero let out a frustrated sight as he thought about the good-for-nothing alpha that'd pupped him. Quinn's and Dawn's true father—by society's standards, as Sero was technically her mother—wanted nothing to do with them. He'd told Sero that a bonding between them wouldn't be advantageous and that he needed to be with a true omega. Sero didn't care the bastard was abusive and controlling anyway. He subconsciously rubbed at his scar across his chest where the alpha got too excited with a knife. That had been the last straw though.

"Do you want to go home?" Sero asked. They both nodded silently. "Okay mama is going to take you home." Sero loaded them into their stroller; he was fairly young for a omega, too. They probably thought he was a babysitter—their judgement wasn't on him, but on the imaginary parents that they'd given his daughters.

It was a ten minute walk to their apartment from the park. Their father paid a private stipend to keep Sero quiet. Sero was also pretty sure that he wanted to convince himself he felt bad for abandoning his family. It probably would have been better for him if he'd never known, but Sero wasn't really worried about some fuck-all who thought it was bad for his image to claim his own kids and the omega who had birthed them.

"Okay, both of you stand right here," Sero said after he'd unstrapped them and they'd climbed out. Dawn stared up at him expectantly. He made a face at her and she giggled, chunky hands wiping at her wet eyes. Sero made another one as he folded up their stroller and tucked it under his arm. On instinct, Dawn reached a hand out and Sero did so as well, taking hers as Quinn latched on to his pocket.

"Go up the stairs?" Dawn asked, pointing at the big concrete blocks.

"Yes, up the stairs," Sero replied. "Hold on tight, both of you, okay?" He squeezed her hand. "Do you want to count with daddy today?"

Quinn stood quiet as Dawn's forehead scrunched up in thought and then shook her head no.

"That's okay. I'll count and you guys just focus on going up them."

Sero counted the stairs as he went up, highly aware that Dawn was trying to mouth along with him. When they reached their landing, the stroller slipped; he gritted his teeth cussing in his head as he wrangled with it for a second. A strong hand steadied it in his grasp and a wave of alpha washed over him. Sero looked up to see a rather tall, well-built alpha staring back at him. Sero was not short he was '5"10 but, this guy he can easily fit under his chin without bending.

"Oh, hey, thanks," Sero greeted; the twins stuck to his side in an instant, wide, brown and red eyes staring the stranger down. Sero curled an arm around them and let the alpha set the stroller against the wall. "I haven't seen you around here before." Might as well be nice. It's been a while since he encountered an Alpha this close. God he really needed to get out more.

"Don't mention it," the alpha almost growled in response; he had the brightest red eyes that Sero had ever seen—not that he'd seen any besides him. "I just moved in upstairs." He pointed up to the apartment right above Sero's. Sero nodded looking at him, he didn't seem like the kind of alpha that'd go around meeting the neighbors. Maybe he had just gotten off of work?

"Well thank you, new neighbor—without your help, the stroller would've probably broken again. The name's Sero. Sero Hanta." He stuck out his free hand.

Dawn suddenly piped up. "It fell down," she said, pointing at the stroller. She then pointed at the stairs.

"It has happened many times before, and broke many times as well" Sero agreed. The alpha took his hand and shook it firmly. Sero refused to admit that he wanted to shiver at the feeling of calloused skin against his. Sero was very proud for being able to keep soft skin with twins but, he did miss of rough skin against his.

"Bakugo Katsuki," There was a telltale rumble in his voice signaling pride something all alphas had.

"Dawn," Dawn interrupted from behind Sero; she marched forward and stuck out her chubby hand, demanding a handshake. Her other hand beckoned her sister over who shyly came up before taking a breath and sticking her own hand out for him to shake. Bakugo bent down and offered his hand to Dawn first and shook it lightly, as if she were royalty, before doing the same thing to Quinn.

"Hello, Dawn and Quinn" Bakugo greeted. He then stood, looking at Sero. "What's the area like over here?"

Sero shrugged, Dawn tugged at the bottom of his shirt and he hauled her up into his arms as Quinn went back to half-hiding by his leg. "Oh, it's safe and a good place to raise a family. You can find a babysitter or a playdate for pups easily too, there are a lot of families in this complex and the park's right down the street—that's where my princess's and I are coming from, huh?" Sero bounced Dawn and she giggled. "Grocery store is pretty close too."

"So, not a party-house," Bakugo grunted in return. Sero looked at him, trying to figure out if that was a joke or not when a half-smile tugged at the corner of Bakugo's mouth.

"Not exactly," Sero replied with a half-smile of his own. "Maybe we will show you around sometime—what do you think about that?" He looked down at his twins both of them nodding, resolute as if they'd actually made plans. "For now, it's snack time." He bounced Dawn slightly as she threw her arms up in glee and Sero shared her joy with a small exclamation. "Why don't you say bye to the nice man, okay?"

Dawn nodded at Bakugo. "Bye-bye, nice man," she said as the door was unlocked and she was allowed to toddle inside. Quinn followed but, not before waving bye-bye to Bakugo. Sero picked up the stroller.

"Thank you again," Sero said. "Hey, if you give me a sec to put this inside, I'll give you my number—as long as your omega doesn't mind," he teased, knowing that no omega would be threatened by his existence considering other omega's couldn't tell he was one himself. Had to do with his smell that only Alpha's can smell, oh, and he had a pup.

"Would need one to mind," Bakugo said. "I have standards." Sero cocked an eyebrow at him but brought the stroller inside. A single young, strong alpha? That was odd. It wasn't the sort of complex you'd see a single alpha in. Most people here were families, whether as a couple or single like he was.

Sero popped back out, holding two pink sticky-notes and a pen in his hands. Pink was his favorite color sue him. "Here you go." He stuck one on the side of the wall, scribbling down his number on it giving the other one to Bakugo. Bakugo did the same with the other, and they exchanged them. Sero clicked the pen folding the sticky-note putting both objects into his pocket. "If you need anything, feel free to text me. Or call." He mimed a phone call. Quinn called for Sero from inside the house, anxious for her snack. "There's my bat signal. Have a good day, Bakugo."

One snack, a round of dress up and coloring later, both girls were passed out on the floor, cuddled up under a superhero blanket. Sero relaxed beside them, ready to get some work done. He was lucky that their father paid such a big stipend, blackmail was a powerful thing after all. But even with the money, Sero wanted to earn some kind of income for himself.

He'd gotten a job as a social media manager, work that he could do safely from home while keeping an eye on his daughter's. Both of them woke up roughly two hours later and he closed his laptop, focusing his attention back on them. With some effort, they managed to climb up onto the couch and into his arms.

"Hi mama," Dawn greeted, snuggling him close, Quinn doing the same thing but, staying quiet.

"Hello. You both slept well?" Sero asked. They both nodded and then cuddled in, dozing off for a couple more minutes. Sero pressed a kiss to the side of both their head's. Sero was biased, but he was pretty sure that they were the best babies in the entire world. He tried not to think about the future, for them. Sero would do his best, but he couldn't control what other children and their families would think or assume.

The rest of the day went well and they were tucked into bed at seven, falling asleep during a bedtime story. Sero slipped out of the room quietly, clicking the light switch off. He changed and retired to his room—with the birth of his twins, his nights were now those of a recluse. Settled into bed, either working or just relaxing. That wasn't to say that he had no social life. But it was no longer filled with his weekly hangouts. No more attempts at being a hoe. His first time trying to be a hoe and he ended up pregnant with twins. The streets was not meant for him.

It wasn't all bad though. Kaminari was pregnant around the same time as him and had a boy, though he was a little younger than Quinn and Dawn. He was two and a half while Quinn and Dawn were three already. They were gentle though with Kaito, showing him how to play with toys they'd brought with them. Kirishima was delighted with the friendship that the two had struck up. Kirishima and Kaminari was sure that Kaito would be a strong alpha, but Sero wasn't sure that there was any real indicator for it.

It was about nine, when he got a text from Bakugo surprisingly. Sero opened his phone, wondering if this was smart but decided to just throw caution to the wind. He sighed, it's not like he would be fucking another alpha without a minimum of three dates, a condom, and an intent to bond. He'd already been duped once, never again.

'Hey it's Bakugo. Hope I didn't wake you.' Once again Sero was surprised by the plain texting. He wasn't acting like a bull-headed alpha. Sero frowned, unsure of how to respond.

'Hey, how's it going?" Sero texted back before double texting. "You didn't wake me." Sero might be a parent, but he didn't go to bed when the twins did. He had chores and needed 'me time.'

Bakugo took a moment to respond and Sero turned back to the show he was watching on his laptop, pinching his tongue between his teeth as he did so. When his phone vibrated, he glanced at it. "What are you up to?"

"Watching some crime show on Netflix. Some man has been kidnapping children and burying them alive as a sacrifice." Sero texted back, wondering if Bakugo liked shows like that. He was fishing to see if they had anything in common.

"That's fucked up. Why the fuck was he doing that?"

"You can't understand psychos." Sero had to laugh at himself. "Why would he bury children alive? To appease a God that is in a COMIC BOOK! Can't tell me you can understand something like that"

Again, there was a moment where Sero was allowed to be drawn back into the show. He was glad that Bakugo hadn't swore in front of the twins.

"Fucking hell, people are disgusting. You like that kind of stuff?"

"Yeah, makes me paranoid about alphas that talk to me on stairs." It was supposed to be playful, though Sero wondered if it came off that way. He put his phone down to avoid explaining himself.

Bakugo texted back. "But not scared of them huh?" Sero smiled at the prickly response. He's loving this.

"I'm not worried about you. My darling Quinn trusts you enough to talk to you so you can't be bad.' He didn't bother mentioning Dawn since she's not shy.

"She normally shy?" He had to inhale at that.

"Painfully so. It's hard getting her to socialize with other kids." Not including Kaito. She'd seen him since he was a baby, so he was practically her little brother. He was pretty sure she'd gotten it from her father's side of the family. He sent another text, unashamed of double-texting. "She'll be okay though."

"Guess I lucked out then. She's an adorable kid."

Sero's chest swelled with pride. She looked like him, so of course Quinn was adorable. He loved both of them though equally though. They were nothing short of the cutest, cuddliest, pudgiest little girls in the whole world. He watched as a new text came through his grin falling as he read Bakugo's message.

"You and her dad are pretty lucky."

Sero pursed his lips. He kept typing and erasing the messages. What could he say? He wasn't embarrassed. Sero smacked his phone against his face. So, he swallowed and started his text again.

"I am their dad too. It's just me." Sero scrutinized the text and then added. "Dad ditched during the pregnancy so I spent it alone." And then he sent it—he tossed his phone to the foot of the bed and picked up his laptop. He wasn't ashamed. Sero was raising them the best he could and didn't need the fucking dick.

It took roughly thirty minutes for Bakugo to respond. Sero didn't think he was going to say anything at all. But the message eventually came in.

"Shit, I'm sorry. Fucking bitch." Sero smiled. "You doing okay? Son of a bitch. Seriously, sorry. That fucking sucks. Are you doing good tho? If you ever need any help text me okay? Especially if that fucker ever comes around. I'll set his shit straight."

Sero laughed at how the text read nothing but alpha. Bakugo was offended by him. 'As he should be' Sero thought. There was nothing more offensive than abandoning not only your pups but the one who birthed it, be they omega or beta—or even alpha in some cases. Sero could have ended the man's social life, the chance at marrying an omega or anyone else for that matter. He still could. But even though he hated the bastard, it didn't matter.

His phone vibrated with another text. "What a sorry shit-stain of an excuse for an alpha."

"I'm trying, this parenting thing is harder than I thought. They're worth it. I'll make sure to text you if I need any help, but I don't need you to fuck him up for me. No need to go to jail." He was not going to tell him that the man was way bigger than him and could kick his ass to kingdom come.

"Would you let me know if he comes around though? I'll put him in his place, and let him know that you're doing fine by yourself." That was sweet of him and dammit was Sero falling for another Alpha? Of course, he was. Damn him.

"I have a strong bark I'll send him away with his tail between his legs. If all else fails you're right upstairs I'll send my girls up there if anything." This was bold of him to put out there but hey if the brute did somehow come and try anything he can at least send his girls somewhere safe.

There was a soft knock at his door and he looked up to see Dawn standing in the doorway, arms wrapped around the neck of a stuffed bear.

"Everything alright, baby?" Sero asked, shutting his laptop and setting his phone aside. He gently lowered his feet to the floor and opened his arms. She shuffled into them, hugging him tightly. "Do you want to sleep with mommy tonight?" Dawn nodded and he brought her up onto the bed. "I see you brought Coconut as well." It wouldn't be long until Quinn came since she didn't like to be by herself.

Dawn rolled over onto her belly on the bed, snuggling the bear close. "He protects us."

"I see. Thank you Coconut." He pat the bear on the head and stroked Dawn's hair. She made a grabby hand at Sero and he wrapped an arm around her. He smiled when his door opened and he made room for Quinn as well. The covers went up over the three of them. "Mm, how did you know I was tired."

Dawn giggled as he pressed a kiss to her temple. He pressed one to Quinn too who had already fallen asleep "Did you have a nightmare Dawn?"

She shook her head. "I missed you, Daddy," She said.

"I missed you too," Sero replied.

Sero fell asleep alongside his daughters, waking only at the feeling of tiny hands prying his arms loose. He blinked awake and laughed at tiny fingers poking at his cheeks.

"Good morning," he teased.

"Good morning," Dawn said. She poked at the bear's cheek. "Coconut's hungry."

Sero nodded sternly. "Well, I suppose we'll have to get something to eat for the both of you, huh?" Quinn was still asleep so he scooped them both up blowing raspberries on Dawn's neck. "What do you say to a pajama and pancake party?"

Dawn's hands went into the air in excitement, Coconut squished between them. Sero got off of the bed heading to the bathroom to clean up first. Quinn woke up and then they all brushed their teeth and took a bath before heading to the kitchen.

"What kind of pancakes do you want?" Sero asked as he set her down in her small, pink, plastic chair at her table.

"Boo-berry pancakes," Dawn exclaimed in glee. Quinn nodded in agreement.

Sero laughed. "Blueberry it is," he agreed. "I think I'll have some too." Sero heard the sound of toys clacking together and against the table, as Quinn played with... whatever she was playing with. Sero propped open the healthy cooking book his parents had gotten him the year they were born and began to make the pancakes. Sero had made the recipe plenty of times, though he was never confident enough to make them without it.

"Boo-berry please?" Dawn asked from the kitchen entrance. Sero picked up the blueberry container and offered it to her. She grabbed a fistful of blueberries and slowly sat down on the kitchen floor to eat them. Sero finished up the pancakes as a purplish-blue smear appeared on her face. He rolled his eyes cleaning her face quickly. He put honey for Quinn since she liked it.

"Do you want honey on your pancakes?"

"No," Dawn replied. "No, no, no." She marched back to her table, or at least did her best to. Sero put the pan into the sink and gave the stove a quick wipe down before bringing his pancakes (with honey) and the twins.

"Eat up my princesses," he said, setting them down. Sero placed a sippy cup of water for both of them. He curled up on the couch nearby with his pancakes, clicking the television on. They both picked apart their pancakes making a mess. Chibi Chan was on and captured both of their attention immediately.

Sero peeked at his phone, which he'd managed to smuggle into his pocket. He noticed he had messages from Kaminari and Bakugo—Kaminari was going shopping later to pick up some clothes for Kaito and wondered if Sero wanted to come. Sero looked over at his twins who finished eating

"Do you girls want to go to the mall with Denki and Kaito?" They stared at him for a moment, brow furrowing in thought. They eventually nodded hands full of sticky toys. "Okay. We'll head out in a little bit but after we cleaned up."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You need any help?"

Sero had a bunch of bags in his arms and two sleeping toddlers in there stroller, clutching tightly to each other and a toy. Kaminari and Sero had gone crazy—Sero hadn't thought it through, to be honest. Bakugo's offer was a blessing.

"Please, could you take these while I bring them up? I'll come back down to help in a minute—there are more in the car." Bakugo took the bags without question leaving Sero to carefully unbuckle them and soothed them when they whimpered. He felt Bakugo watching him, though it didn't seem threatening. More...curious.

"You go ahead, I'll bring all of 'em up," Bakugo said. Sero thanked him with a nod and bounded up the steps, unlocked the door, and got them settled in their beds. Dawn woke up blinking blearily at him and reached up with a grabby hand.

Sero leaned over and kissed her chubby cheek. "It's okay, honey. Go on and sleep." She nodded and rolled over under her blanket, passing back out.

When Sero came back into the living room, he could see Bakugo setting bags of groceries onto the kitchen counters. Sero went to go back to the car to get more, but Bakugo stopped him.

"Hey, woah, wait. I'll get 'em. I said I would. You stay up here. Looks like it's been a long day." Bakugo looked so serious that Sero listened, beginning to put the groceries up. Great. He'd told one alpha about his situation and suddenly he couldn't do anything. It was a kind gesture though.

"Sorry I didn't answer your text," Sero said as Bakugo came into the apartment again. "I meant to, but we got busy." He gestured at the bags around him.

Bakugo shrugged. "Think you should be paying attention to them over me—should only be one more load up."

"Thank you, seriously. The help is greatly appreciated."

"You're welcome," Bakugo grunted. "I just got off work and saw you. Thought you could use it."

Sero stood up from where he was half-crouched against the counter. "That reminds me, I picked something up for you today. For your apartment. Think of it as a housewarming gift." He rooted around in one of the larger bags for a second and brought out a large blanket he'd seen on sale. It was green, orange, and red with explosions. Soft too. He laughed when Bakugo rolled his eyes. "You don't like it?"

"I didn't say that," he muttered. Bakugo took it in his hands, smoothing his hands over the soft fabric. "I just don't want you wasting your money on some shitty upstairs neighbor."

"Oh please, you've been everything but shitty. Besides, I hope that we'll be friends at least. God knows I need more." Sero went back to putting the groceries away, watching as Bakugo set the blanket down and then left to grab the last of the bags. What a ridiculous man. "Maybe the blanket is too omegan," Sero muttered.

Sero was halfway through the bags when Bakugo came back up, setting down the load. He was now standing half-awkwardly in the kitchen, trying to stare at anything but Sero. "That's all of it."

"Yes! Thank you" Sero said with a mild grunt. "I'm so glad the twins are asleep. It's much harder to put this stuff away when they're digging through the bags...Sooo, where do you work?" he asked, putting away the frozen vegetables. "Anywhere fun or exciting?"

"Accountant," Bakugo drawled. "Not fun or boring but the shit pays well."

"It'll be good for savings, for the future. Regardless of whether you're living that bachelor life" Sero teased him without fear. Bakugo seemed rather well put together. He couldn't tell if it was self-control or age, but Sero appreciated it. "You know, I used to live a crazy life, tried to anyway."

Sero plucked through some of the new clothes he'd bought staring at a purple dress in his hands. "It was an attempted party lifestyle that my first hookup I got knocked up. Failed successfully." He folded the dress and put it on the counter. "Want to help me with the dry goods, beefcake?" Sero asked.

"Yeah, sure." Bakugo jumped at the request. "Honestly, I thought you were a beta at first but, your scent is faint and omegan." Was that a compliment?

"Me too," Sero joked. "I love the twins, they're the best thing that's ever happened to me—but also, I know now that condoms are an essential part of life. I even started birth control. Not that there's much action to get around here."

Bakugo began to put away some pasta, brow furrowed in concentration. Or maybe constipation.

"You ever think of getting a partner to help around the place?" he asked. "Not meaning to say you can't do it yourself, but raising the twins alone must be difficult."

"Oh, they're fine most of the time. The hush money their father gives me is more than enough to keep us going." Bakugo froze at the words.

"Hush money?"

"Oh, yeah, I mean. It's mainly to protect his name and shit. He doesn't want me spreading around that he abandoned his kids I guess? I don't know. It doesn't matter. If he ever stops paying me, I'm going to spill his details like a gutted fish."

Bakugo turned to Sero. "He hasn't even claimed them? Legally? That's so fucked up."

"Real fucked up. But they don't know any different. I don't want them to. That alpha doesn't deserve to know them. He's kind of screwed their entire lives up with the whole traditional, societal bullshit that's so rampant right now." Sero sighed and put his hands on the counter. "Okay, so, maybe it is difficult. Mostly when I think about their future. They're going to have questions—I mean, they already have them."

Sero didn't know why he was telling Bakugo this. Maybe the attention was nice. Maybe telling a somewhat stranger all this helped ease the burden. Regardless, he was feeling better.

"But I love them, and we'll cross that bridge when we get to it."

"That's... good. I'm glad they have you," Bakugo sounded distressed when he spoke. "Can I know who he is?"

Sero snorted. "I'm not stupid, sir alpha? You and all that alpha pride of yours will go out to find that guy." He flipped around to look at Bakugo, shaking his head.

"He'd deserve it," Bakugo grumbled. "Who the fuck does that?"

"Nobody that Dawn and Quinn need to know exists," Sero said an obvious warning in his voice. "I won't lie if they ask when they're older, but as of now? Hell no." There was still a flint of anger in Bakugo's eyes, but he seemed to understand. "Enough about my past drama. What about you? Why hasn't some pretty omega snatched you up yet? You're old enough to be bonded and to have a pup."

Bakugo folded up some of the reusable grocery bags. "Never found one worth bonding, I guess. Got other shit to do."

"Well, your time will come," Sero assured. "Unless you don't want one. Not my right to judge. Better to be happy than to be socially acceptable. I know you probably have to go, but don't be afraid to drop by, seriously. The more people my girls like, the more people I get to socialize with."

"Yeah, I have some unpacking to do." Bakugo didn't sound pleased with himself. "You have a good night, okay?"

"You too, Bakugo. Don't be a stranger."

---------------------------------------------------------

A couple of months went by of phone calls, texts, and occasional dinners. The twins grew bolder every day they saw Bakugo especially Quinn. She even sat in his lap with Coconut. Sero had watched in amazement as she introduced coconut, and promised that he would protect Bakugo too. Then demanded that Bakugo kiss coconut. Bakugo had looked over at Sero who nodded in encouragement.

"Do you like Bakugo?" Sero had asked that night as he tucked her in. Dawn had already confirmed she did.

"Yes," Quinn said, resolute. "He nice. Coconut likes him too." She squeezed the bear. "Does mama like Bakugo?"

Sero nodded. "Mama likes Bakugo very much."

"Bakugo..." She paused. "Can he be my daddy? Dawn wants him to be her daddy too"

A shot of electricity went down his spine. He should've known this would happen. He cracked a forced smile."You trying to replace me?" he teased, gently poking her cheek.

Quinn giggled and shook her head. "No, both, both," she chanted. She rubbed her cheek over where Bakugo had kissed the bear.

After she had fallen asleep, Sero collapsed on the couch, head in his hands. He'd really done it now. Bakugo was nice, but he'd never shown any sort of... well, anything, toward him. Sero rubbed at his eyes, willing himself not to cry. Fuck. This was going to be a disaster. Either he told Bakugo or the twins would. Sero glanced at his phone on the coffee table and then abandoned it, not wanting to check it.

Pups loved the protection an alpha's scent gave them and Sero had only omegan. It was their first real exposure to a scent that wasn't Iida or Kaminari. Sero piled into his bed and groaned into the pillow. It was obvious what they wanted and it was hard to tell them no. Dawn let alone Quinn rarely got along with people to this level. Sero didn't want to break that or give them unrealistic expectations.

The next morning, Sero popped outside to check the mail—and nearly shut the door in a panic. There was a vase of flowers just there so, he carefully picked it up and eyed the card. "What kind of timing is this?" Sero muttered as he brought it inside, forgetting about the mail. Dawn jumped up from where she was smearing washable paint on a piece of canvas, eyes bright. There was more paint on her than on the canvas.

Bakugo's name was on the card. Sero eyed it suspiciously as Quinn came over, hands covered in red and blue. "Flowers," she said, awe apparent on her face. "They're roses."

"Some of them are roses, you're right," Sero said absentmindedly, flipping the card over. To: Sero, Quinn, and Dawn. That was it. "Bakugo sent them to us." He showed them the card. Quinn squealed in delight. "Now, if you both go wash your hands, I'll give each of you one of the flowers to hold."

They were off in a flash. Sero took the opportunity to take a picture of the flowers—he waited for a moment until they came back, hands and face washed to the best of their ability. They haven't quite mastered the art of getting everything off their face.

"Want it in my hair," They both exclaimed. "Like a princess."

"You want to be princesses?" Sero clarified. Bouncing, they nodded. He picked a few of the roses out of the bunch and sighed in relief when they had no thorns on them. He carefully tucked them behind their ears as they squealed in delight. "There we go—you're both beautiful." He pressed a kiss to each of their messy faces. "How about we send a picture to Bakugo, huh? As thanks for the flowers." They nodded eagerly. They scrambled to stand up straight and Sero smiled with pride at his little girl. "Cheese," she said with a wide smile. Sero made a corny flash sound and showed them the pictures. Delighted, they ran back to their paints, nearly tripping as she did so.

We appreciate the flowers. Sero texted.

He jumped when his phone rang.

"Uh, hello?" Sero asked in confusion about Bakugo's phone call.

" You're welcome for the flowers," Bakugo replied.

"Oh yes, thanks, really. As you can see from the picture they love it." Sero glanced at his girls. "I don't think I did anything to deserve them though. Unless they're for Quinn after that cute little stunt she pulled yesterday."

He didn't mention that she wanted Bakugo to be her daddy.

" Yeah, it's kind of related to that. Hey, can I drop by in a couple of hours? I need to talk to you about something. I don't know if the twins should be there for it." Bakugo sounded stressed. " They're going over to Iida's place for a sleepover, right?"

"Yeah," Sero said, a bit nervous. "What did you want to talk about?"

"Something better asked in person."

Sero furrowed his brow. "I mean, yeah, come on by. How does six sound?"

"Great. I'll bring some dinner with me. See ya then." And then he'd hung up. Sero stared at his phone. Weird. The whole thing was weird. The flowers, the phone call—goddamnit, why were alphas like this? Thank them a couple of times and they went all wonky.

"Flaw in the code?" Sero muttered to himself. "Girls in about half an hour we need to take a bath. Then you can pick out some clothes you want to pack to go over to Denki's." He watched as they got giddy splattering paint, smiling up at him. "Are you excited?" The squeals answered his question.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sero was nervous when six came around. There was a short, prompt knock at the door and he nearly jumped out of his skin. He took a moment to compose himself before answering, swinging the door open to see Bakugo, dressed a tad nicer than normal and carrying some bags.

"I cooked," Bakugo explained without needing to.

"Hey, wait, we're not going to eat just yet," Sero said as Bakugo began to unload the bags onto the kitchen table. Bakugo froze. "What do you want to talk about? To be honest, I won't be able to eat until I know anyway."

"Just fucking up my whole plan then," Bakugo said drily, turning toward him. He had his arms crossed over his chest and his face was red. "After yesterday, I, uh. Well, I realized that there's something I need to do."

Sero looked at him in expectation. Bakugo looked him in the eye. "I know you're a bit older than me. I know you have a pup. And it doesn't fucking matter, okay?"

"Okay? I know it doesn't. What are you talking about?" Sero brushed past him to get the plates and found himself crowded by nothing but pure alpha, back to chest, muscled arms preventing his escape "Bakugo, what—"

"—I want to court you. Omegan, pupped, whatever the fuck. I don't care." The stubborn resolution in his voice had Sero's mouth going dry. "Wanted to since I saw you struggling with that stroller."

Sero turned around in the little space he was given to face Bakugo. "Huh? What, why? I mean, sure, if that's what you want to do, I won't tell you no. But like, there's a whole world of omegas out there just waiting to hop on your dick."

"Who wants any omega," Bakugo growled out, eyes flashing red. "If I want someone squirming beneath me, praising how big my fucking knot is, I want it to be genuine."

"Holy shit, you're a kinky motherfucker, huh?" Sero teased, even though his voice cracked pathetically. "That still doesn't explain why you'd pick me. Cause, believe me, I've been used for convenience before, but I'm not looking for that. The only kind of man I'm looking for is one to keep."

Bakugo let out a grumble under his breath. "You're... fucking pretty, okay? And funny. And I'm impressed at the whole... kid thing."

"Okay, okay," Sero said, putting his hands on Bakugo's shoulders. Bakugo dipped down and kissed him without warning; Sero's arms wrapped around his neck on instinct. He didn't know why, but Bakugo tasted like a campfire with smores. It was weird and good at the same time. "Woah, seriously, let's talk about this before my head starts to spin."

Bakugo didn't look happy with it, but he pulled away. "Kay."

"Don't be grumpy, you can't just go around trying to kiss and hump people against counters." Sero flicked him in his side. "What do you mean by the whole pup thing?"

"I... it's cool that you can take care of them without needing an Alpha." Bakugo managed. "I've never seen that before. You don't have nor need alpha pheromones since they're always cool as a fucking cucumber. They don't teach us that in sex education classes at school."

Sero shrugged, though inwardly he was proud. "I was raised by two betas. I learned from them—though thanks for the compliment. She's a really easy kid, though. Nothing cool about it." He cocked an eyebrow. "How old are you, anyway?"

"Twenty-five," Bakugo huffed out.

"Don't treat me like a granny then! I'm twenty-six, not thirty. It's literally one year. Worried that my experience will outweigh yours?" When Bakugo blushed again and looked away, Sero opened his mouth in shock. "Oh my god, you... have you..."

"I'm not a fucking virgin if that's what you're asking. But I didn't live the party lifestyle either."

"Jesus, you had me going for a second," Sero said with a sigh; he sat down on one of the kitchen chairs. "I just don't get it," he muttered. "From an alpha's point of view, I'm about as damaged goods as it gets."

Bakugo's face twisted in rage. "You're not fucking damaged. Don't say that about yourself. Being a single omegan mother to twins doesn't make you broken. Society is fucking broken." He was looking away from Sero now, body tense. At least he'd sat down.

"Mm." Sero looked at Bakugo. Really looked at him. Young. Attractive. Good with the twins. He was also just plain old fun to be around—Sero had thought about it, once or twice, but it had never progressed too much further than a masturbation session daydream. "Why didn't you say anything before?" Sero asked.

"Because." Bakugo hadn't looked back at him, though the blush had spread to his ears. "I want your girls to accept me first. They're your pups. Center of your life for the past three years. I couldn't justify trying to insert myself into your life without their consent, you know? Don't want to fuck up their lives."

Sero's heart squeezed at the sentiment. "Come here, you big softie." Sero stood up and was instantly met with the screech of a chair and then strong, burly arms. Bakugo's face pressed into his neck, nuzzling his skin. Sero floundered for a second and then wrapped his arms around Bakugo in return.

"Not fucking soft," Bakugo grumbled out. "I want to be respectful." Sero laughed and pressed a kiss to Bakugo's shoulder. "If you're going to kiss me, kiss me up here." Sero's face was grabbed and he gasped audibly when Bakugo kissed him, a bit rough but enjoyable nonetheless. "You're not fucking soft either. So fucking impressive, taking care of twins all on your own."

Bakugo's hands wandered briefly, over Sero's sides and where his stomach had gone soft and pudgy from pregnancy. Sero cocked an eyebrow at him and Bakugo blushed again.

"It's hot," Bakugo muttered.

"Well thank you, no one's talked about my post-baby fat like that."

Bakugo let out a grunt and he began to kiss lightly up and down Sero's neck. His hands slipped up Sero's shirt to find his hips. Sero tilted his head up, appreciating the attention. It was so good to be touched. "I want to support you," Bakugo mumbled into Sero's shoulder. He moved his hands so that he could tighten his arms around Sero's back and bring him closer.

"Weird, who knew an alpha would want to do that genuinely?" Sero asked in mock surprise. "I'll think about it." Bakugo snorted. "That's a big decision, you know. Letting an alpha provide for me and my daughters—might have to ask them about it. They might have something to say, considering they asked for you to become their daddy last night."

The shudder that went through Bakugo was massive. He pulled his head up to look Sero in the eyes. "Did they really say that?" It was so quiet it was nearly impossible for Sero to hear. " Shit, " he muttered under his breath. "Didn't know they liked me that much."

"Like hell, you didn't," Sero said, lightly smacking Bakugo's chest. Even though he was short for an alpha, he was taller than Sero. And very well-built. Sero smoothed his hands over Bakugo's pecs in appreciation. Damn, alphas and their ability to put on muscle mass—it seemed like they didn't have to do shit to get all hot and muscular. Sero had to work for it.

Sero patted Bakugo's chest once more. "You have them wrapped around your finger."

"It's the other way around, I swear." He detached an arm from Sero's waist to scratch at his cheek. "Fuck. They are cutie pies. Can't believe they said that."

"You're an alpha. Your scent is all protective and junk—I mean, your smell makes me feel safe so it makes sense that they have an instinctive need for that protection. Wouldn't hurt them to get it either—when they come back tomorrow, you should scent them."

Bakugo kissed him, this kiss every bit as eager as the last—but it was sweeter. "You're serious?"

"Yeah, I'm serious—I mean, you want to court me, right? And a bit part of that whole courting thing is scenting. Unless you don't plan on keeping us." The arm was back around Sero and tighter than before. "And you can scent me tonight. Tomorrow we can all get into a big cuddle pile on the bed, Twins snug right between us."

"That sounds amazing as fuck," Bakugo rumbled. He was beginning to press kisses all over Sero's face. He pulled back, a knowing, hungry smile on his face. "What kind of scenting were you thinking about?" It wasn't a question, not really. Scenting was one of two things—either a horny make-out where they rutted and acted like teenagers, or actual sex. "Thinking I might throw you on your bed, unwrap you like I've wanted since day one."

Sero snorted. "Do your worst."
