Valentina Zavala Orizaba--Florencia's mother--had gone out to meet with the people of Estrellas Y Mas to go over the final details of Florencia's photo shoot. It had been right after lunch with her daughters and the photo shoot would be the very next day at noon. That gave the girls a whole other day to enjoy the City of Mexico where they had already spent nearly a week.
It was also the day of the Music Bank concert, as she had seen on Sehun's instagram account. It was only after scrolling through his instagram posts that it occurred to her that she knew next to nothing about him--other than the fact that his name was Oh Sehun. Having nothing else to do on her newfound free time, she got her phone out and opened up an internet page, typing his name into the search bar of the search engine she was using.
She was the only one in her hotel room, which gave her the privacy to stalk him online freely. Her older sister Margarita had gone out with some of her model friends who lived close by, while Acacia was out with another youtuber from Mexico City. Both of them were going to film about spending the day at Six Flags Mexico. They had invited Florencia, but she declined with the excuse that she needed a rest. Before traveling to the capital, she had been plagued with a busy schedule of photo shoots and commercials, interviews and guest appearances. She felt like she needed a few days to herself.
"Oh Sehun," She hummed aloud to herself as she read off the information on his wikipedia page. "Twenty years old, Korean, part of the kpop group EXO and its sub unit EXO-K."
After reading his biography on line, she continued her investigation by clicking on the link for the group's wikipedia page. She spent the next couple of hours, not realizing how long she was there reading until her stomach growled loudly and she looked at the time on her phone. It was three in the afternoon and her battery was drained.
Florencia went to charge her cellphone and waited for her family to return. The first to return to the hotel room was Acacia. Her face was red from a slight sun burn she was sporting. Even though the weather was rather cold in the Mexico City autumn season, little amounts of sun were enough to burn Acacia's sensitive skin. Florencia was the same. The second to return was Margarita, who had brought her sisters frappes and pastries from the coffee shop across the street from their hotel.
The last was their mother who had been busy all day with her daughter's business. In her hands was an envelop that she tossed at her twenty year old daughter as soon as she entered the room.
Florencia looked down at the envelop and then up at her mother with confusion. "What is this?"
"Open it." Her mother smiled at her nervously.
Before Florencia could pick up the envelop with the words ticketmaster written out on top of it, Acacia reached for it with lightning speed. She tore the envelop open and produced three tickets from it. Reading off what was written on the tickets, she gasped with excitement. "Oh my gosh, Florencia you're going to fucking die!" She screeched with a grin plastered on her lips. Of course Florencia didn't know why her sister was so excited. Looking to their mother, Acacia asked, "How'd you get these tickets? I thought they were sold out."
Her mother shrugged. "I have connections."
Now Florencia knew what they were talking about. "Are those tickets for Music Bank Mexico?" She raised an eyebrow in question.
She had originally thought they were tickets for the Mexican National Team's friendly game against the Netherlands in two more weeks. It was a rematch from the world cup match in which Mexico was eliminated by the Orange Machine in what was seen by the people of Mexico as an unfair match.
"Your sisters told me you really wanted to go." Her mother nodded. Florencia subtly shot her two sisters a look. "And since you've been working so hard lately, I thought you deserve this moment of fun. You're still so young and I don't want you to give up your youth so quickly."
With the same amount of excitement in her tone, Margarita peeked at the tickets from over her younger sister's shoulder. "They're front row seats too, this is amazing!"
"The show starts at seven, so we'd better hurry up and get ready!" Acacia said, getting up from her bed and running around the room frantically, searching for the right clothes and shoes to wear.

Florencia and her sisters arrived just in time for the show to start and were led to their seats by members of the security team. Right where they were sat, they could see the entire stage perfectly and the artists were just a few feet away from them. Close to them were other girls--presumably from wealthy families since they were able to afford such expensive seating--and when some of them recognized the former Miss Universe, some of them even asked to snap pictures with her and her sisters who were also beauty queens.
It was a show of about three hours, and the sisters had to sit through all other acts before EXO performed. Ailee had been first, followed by B.A.P., Beast, Infinite, BTS, Girl's Day, and finally EXO-K.
Florencia's eyes lit up as they were announced by the Korean MC--in Spanish--and all the other girls in the arena erupted into deafening screams of joy. Florencia was almost certain she would find herself deaf in a matter of time. The screams got even louder when the group of six boys made their way onto the stage.
On the screen behind them was the name of the song they were going to perform.
EXO-K, Growl.
She spotted Sehun on stage, her heart thumping at the realization that he was a hundred times more attractive in person. She thought it to be her imagination, but from the moment he had walked onto the stage with his group, it had looked to her like his eyes were scanning over the crowd as though he were searching for someone or something. He had liked her photo on instagram just minutes before the start of the concert, which meant that he knew she was there. But in a crowd of thousands it would be impossible for him to spot her.
The boys got into their starting positions and the lights dimmed. The arena quieted down in anticipation as the music blared from the speakers and EXO began to sing.

After performing Growl and Overdose as a six member group, Kai and Sehun left the stage to leave it to the four vocalists who would perform a cover of one of Mexico's most traditional and iconic songs. Sabor A Mi. Everyone who was Mexican had heard that song at least once in their lives and when Chanyeol started playing the chords on his guitar, accompanied by the other instruments in the background, the cheering in the arena got even louder than before.
Even Florencia and her sisters found themselves screaming happily at the sound of the song they all knew and loved, one of the many that represented their country. It would be the closing song for the concert.
Florencia was amazed at how fluently they sounded in her language when she didn't speak an ounce of Korean. When the song came to its end, the rest of the performers returned to the stage, including Oh Sehun. They all stood together in a long line, along with the MC. Bowing together, they all bid their farewells in Spanish. "Gracias por venir, y adios!" Thank you for coming, and goodbye! They said as the crowd cheered for them.
Florencia clapped her hands together until they started to hurt.
In a matter of minutes, the performers made their way backstage and the lights dimmed in the arena, signaling that the concert had ended. People made their way out of their seats towards the exit now, and the three sisters waited for a moment for everyone to clear out. With a smile still present on her face, Acacia grabbed her sister's arm and said to her, "That was awesome, right Flor? Oh my gosh, they're so talented. I can't believe I'd never listened to this music before. You should help me upload a kpop reaction video onto youtube next week."
"EXO is the group where that boy you like performed right?" Margarita asked. "All of them were so handsome!"
"We should try to sneak backstage so Flor and Sehun can meet." Acacia suggested mischievously. Her mind was already racing with all sorts of plans and strategies.
Florencia shook her head in disapproval. "Not only is that really embarrassing, but the press would eat us alive if they found out. Just imagine the headlines. Orizaba sisters in trouble after trying to sneak backstage at a concert."
"Only your image would be ruined. You're the only one of us who has a Miss Universe title, so the whole world is always watching you." Acacia pointed out.
"We're not sneaking anywhere." Florencia said and once the arena cleared out a bit, she led her sisters out of the building.

baekhyunee_exo: midnight munchies after #musicbankmexico concert with the guys @real__pcy @oohsehun #suho #kai #d.o. #tacos #vivamexico

Even at midnight, it hadn't been hard for them to find food. Many restaurants were closed at that hour, but street vendors were still out and about, mostly waiting for the rush of people who would be leaving the clubs and bars later that night and would be searching for a quick and cheap meal. Narda had suggested it to them, telling them that street food was the best, especially the tacos.
The group of six had set out to find a street vendor and they found one on the corner of the street from where their hotel was located. The man at the grill didn't speak Korean, nor did he speak any English, and Chanyeol did the next best thing in order to communicate with him.
He called Narda through face time, and had her help them order their food.
It had been a strange exchange between the street vendor and the girl on the cellphone screen, but in the end she ordered four tacos for each with drinks included. The boys then paid for their food and waited for it to be ready. When they were handed their paper plates with their tacos on them and their soft drinks, they sat at one of the plastic tables with colorful plastic chairs that had been provided by the street vendor for his customers.
As soon as they sat down, Baekhyun got his cellphone put, snapped a photo of his food, and posted it onto his social media where it quickly gathered thousands of likes.
He then went onto his home feed on instagram. Since he didn't follow many people, he soon stumbled upon Florencia Orizaba's most recent post. It was a picture of her and her sister with a caption that they had been present at the Music Bank performance earlier.
"Look, Sehun-ah." Baekhyun said, showing his group mate the photo. "She went to the Music Bank concert, for you."
"So bothersome, hyung." Sehun sighed and gave a roll of his eyes, swatting the phone away from his face as he tried to get a bite out of his taco. "Anyway, I already saw and liked that photo." He informed Baekhyun, matter-of-factly.
His hyung chuckled. "Always one step ahead, Sehunnie."
"How do you feel knowing you'll be face to face with her tomorrow?" Jongin asked with a teasing smile.
Sehun hadn't thought about that yet, but now that he did, he was nervous.
