Gulf POV

As we progress in our relationship, I found myself loving my boyfriend so much. So many dreams had been established. So many memories that I will never forget my whole life, even maybe in death! I thought everything is perfect already! I thought everything is in its rightful place and nothing will change between us. I thought that our love for each other is already enough to conquer it all! I thought Mew is the right one for me! I thought he is really the one!

But what happened is very far from what I dreamed and thought about.

One day, everything shifted and turn into darkness when Mew's ex-girlfriend came and inform me that Mew is the father of her child. She was pregnant when they broke up more than a year ago. She tried to tell him, but Mew already have me, so she choose just to be quiet. Not until recently, did she realize that she needs Mew for their baby!

My world is crushed right in front of me and even if I know it's hard. I still try to accept and deal with it. I choose to stay with Mew even though Alexa is already there claiming his right on his. Mew said that he can't leave me! He can't live without me! That he loves me so deeply, so even if it's hard and I know it's wrong! I stayed. I love him so much, so I choose to stay with him.

His child is already 6th months old. Alexa always brings her child to Mew's house so, in the end, Mew finds himself so attached to his child. I thought it was okay at first, but then as time goes by. I feel like Mew is getting farther from me.

Author POV

Mew: Baby! I'm sorry! I'm late! I've been stuck in traffic! Did you wait long?

Gulf: No! Don't worry! I just arrive too! Just sit there and rest for a while. Here, water for you!

Mew: (Took the bottle of water) Thank you! God! I really thought I'm too late! Wait, did you eat already?

Gulf: Not yet, how about you? Do you want to eat already?

Mew: Nope! Later! Oh, Let's get to the point! What did you want to talk about that you have to ask to meet me here so suddenly? You made me so worried when reading your message!

Gulf: It's regarding...

Ting! (Sound of notification)

Mew: Oh, someone texted you! Read that first, then we will talk!

Gulf: Okay! (read the text and face become sour)

Mew: Why! Why did your face become like that? What happened? What does it say?

Gulf: (Give the phone to Mew) You read it yourself!

Mew: Why!

Gulf: Because I don't want you to think that I'm creating stories, so there! Read it for yourself so that you would believe me! Read all the previous messages too!

Mew: Okay! (Start reading the messages) Oh, why does Alexa keep messaging you? You're talking?

Gulf: She is the only the who is messaging me! I didn't reply to her because I don't want any trouble! Look at her last message! She said, she wants me to leave you two alone! She wants me to let go of you and stop being pathetic, who keeps on holding on to you? Mew! Why! Why do I look like I'm the mistress now? That I'm the one who is the third party in this situation!

Mew: Don't be bothered about that! It's nothing!

Gulf: What? How can I not be bothered about that? She is saying things to me that I don't know if I should start believing or not.

Mew: What is she saying to you?

Gulf: That there is still something going on between the two of you aside from taking care of your baby! That you are still doing it again and again when she is visiting and bringing your child to you! Is it true?

Mew: I told you to stop thinking about it! If you stop, then she will be tired of bothering you and stop.

Gulf: You didn't answer my question, Mew! Is it true? Is there something else going on between the two of you? Are still doing it? Is it a matter of Yes or No?

Mew: Gulf! How can you think like that?

Gulf: Just be straight with me, Mew! Just tell me what is going on between the two of you!

Mew: Nothing! This is not the issue! Nothing is happening between us, but to me! Something is going on with me!

Gulf: What do you mean?

Mew: I'm getting so tired of my situation now! You know how much I love you, it's just that...

Gulf: Just what?

Mew: I love my child! I don't know how I can split my time between you and my child.

Gulf: So, you're saying I'm stealing your time on your child?

Mew: No! That is not it! Believe me, it's not that! Okay! I will be honest now! Alexa asked me if I can leave you and just stay with them. She wants me to choose her and our child. She wants our family to be whole and not like this that you are in the picture.

Gulf: Don't tell me! You want to accept that!

Mew: I don't know! I really don't know!

Gulf: I thought you don't love her anymore, so why are you speaking like that?

Mew: It's because of my child, Gulf! I don't want him to grow up in a broken family! I want to spend more time with my child which is also what Alexa wants. Maybe that is the reason why she is doing that! She is provoking you so that you will be the one who would make the move.

Gulf: Do you want me to let go?

Mew: I don't know! I love you! I love you so much, but I'm so confused right now! I'm very confused about what should I choose. It's making me choose between my child and the one that I love. I don't know what I should do. What if...

Gulf: What if you didn't choose, you might lose both.

Mew: I don't know! I'm so confused!

Gulf: (Tears starting to fall from his eyes) Okay! Mew! Follow what Alexa asked you to do!

Mew: What?

Gulf: I said, follow her demands! Choose them and let go of me! They are what's more important to you! It's about your child already, Mew! I can let go, Mew! I can take it! I will be okay! I don't want you to be that way! I don't want to hinder you from being the best father for your child. I will be the one who will let go!

Mew: But Gulf! I love you!

Gulf: I love you too, Mew! But this is not just about us anymore! There is a child, who needs your 100% support!

Mew: (Cry) I'm sorry, Gulf! I didn't want all of this to happen! I didn't mean it. If only, I know I have a child, I wouldn't ask you to be my boyfriend. I will never put you in this situation if only I know!

Gulf: I know, Mew! I know! Maybe this is the best for us! Maybe this is the right way because if I didn't say Goodbye to you now, we are only making things more complicated than they should be. Even if it hurts! I will just let go of you! I will say Goodbye to you so that we both can finally move on!
