It was a bit confusing to detect such silence between such great friends in the LPFM team. The pink bunny was stunned, Fukaizroh was appalled, M was silent as ever and Pitohui was happy. "Why is your eye red, Pito?" The cautious pink clad rabbit wondered, getting a bit closer despite M's nails not leaving her collar.
Pitohui had a confused look before placing a hand over her left eye.

Of course, her hand wasn't a mirror, she couldn't see what her eye had become but she doesn't feel any different. She can see out of it, that's for sure though she had to trust LLENN's words. It's impossible to tell that LLENN is not lying when in a state of such shock. "I don't feel any different. I didn't even know an eye of mine was red in the first place." She admitted.

There was a brief silence once more, with the team leader anxiously looking at her bizarre comrade and felt the obligation to make a decision. "If you say so, where were you all this time by the way, Pito?" LLENN asked. Fukaziroh placed a hand up to alert LLENN of something. Interrupting the conversation for a bit, "LLENN, scan starting."

The pink bunny pulled out her terminal scan and handed it over to Fukaziroh and M. In the meantime, she wanted to know what is the deal with Pitohui. The black haired girl, remarked that the shorter girl wasn't letting her go easily. She sighed and chuckled. "I don't even know myself, for the first 30 minutes of the match, my screen was completely black." She began to describe and LLENN nodded.

"But when you guys got spotted by that team hiding in the bushes, I spawned in the game and let me tell you, my surroundings were just weird!" She recalled with small laughter. LLENN tilted her head, seemingly interested in what the girl was describing. "What did you see?" She inquired. Pitohui began pacing back and fourth, it seems she was getting to the more visual of parts.

"Stone castle walls that were incredibly cracked up, vines sprouted of them and the lights were dimmed out. There was a velvet red throne behind me when I first spawned but what the devs wanted us to focus on was a golden crown sitting by a pedastool a bit down the steps leading to the throne." She described even more. But upon hearing all of this, LLENN could only wonder: 'So that explains the castle bit when we saw the map last time.'

"So, did you grab the crown?" The pink bunny resumed the story when she figured that Pito wouldn't continue without a prompt. LLENN has expected that crown to be the cause of her teammate red's eye however upon hearing that she did not grab it made her worry. "I tried grabbing it. All of us did but when we stretched a hand out when close enough, I got teleported in close range to where my team went." She explained. But something wasn't adding up. "What do you mean 'all of you'?"

Pitohui raised her head up to the sky and shrugged, giving an oblivious yet smiley look. "Good question, I don't know! Everyone was shadows in my eyes, eminent eyes with no voice. I was probably a shadow in their eyes as well." She commented. LLENN nodded at that, not the most useful of informations though, she could conclude that other players in SJ3 had red eyes. But who?

The scan had ended, LPFM was now in advancing to the east while other teams were scattered almost everywhere. The pink bunny do had to remark though that team SHINC was up in the North, slowly making their way to the south and that Memento Mori were almost near the centre. Team ZEMAL stayed isolated at the top east and T-S were completely south west. LLENN bit her lips.

"I bet everyone wants to make their way to the castle in the centre." She remarked.
Fukaizroh, who checked the scan a second time for all of the team's placements, nodded at that. "Yeah, if what Pito said was true, about a crown waiting for all of them, who has time to waste?" She wondered. Though why was the crown so important in the first place? Why did everyone want it that badly? "Pito, do you know what the crown in that flashback of yours does?" She tried to ask.

But unfortunately, the woman had no idea. "I didn't touch it, how am I supposed to know?" She snorted. Nevertheless, LLENN could have guessed a few things. First of all, the crown could be evil and responsible to why Pitohui has a single red eye. But at the same time, it couldn't have harmed her in any way because she never even had the chance to touch it. This whole mystery was giving the small bunny a headache. "Alright well, if there's others with red eyes and the desire to touch the crown, we need to get there as soon as possible." LLENN said.

M shook his head, "I don't see a clear path. There's enemies swarming everywhere. Luckily, there's no powerhouse teams, or else we'd be in big trouble." He admitted calmly. Though Pitohui gritted her teeth at his boring warnings, "Ugh, who has time to be careful? That's not how you play a game. I say we just don't care and run straight in!" Pito roared. M had said that they weren't completely alone in the forests, therefore they did have to be careful in more ways than one. But, Pitohui insisted on having fun and going wild.

"We have to be rational sometimes, Pito. You can't just change into battle." M argued. Pitohui simply gave him the death eye before clenching her fist. "Oh yeah?" She assaulted his cheek once then twice when she heard a groan escape his lips. "I can charge in whenever I want." She made it clear, her flaming red eye glaring down on him as the burly figure fell to the floor. He gave LLENN and Fuka an unsaddened smile, this was normal for him but not to be girls, he didn't want to terrify them.

"Well LLENN, it's your call." Fuka prompted, patting her friend's shoulder reassuringly. The forests were quiet and the tall grass was bothering the chibis since the grass was already il their ankles. LLENN took a deep breath before grabbing her terminal scan in hand. "Alright well, we'll leave the forests and make our way to the castle. But carefully, not recklessly! Meanwhile the trip, I want to ask more questions about what Pito saw." She ordered.

"Roger that!"

"Roger."

were the two affirmative responses from her two comrades, Pitohui just gave a small snicker at LLENN's insisting decision. Thus, LPFM headed out of their previous hiding spot.

LillaSmolBean: Hiya! Lilla here and thank you for reading chapter 8 and my goodness, things are getting juicy up in here because SJ3's particularities are being introduced to us! So question of the chapter is, should LLENN's team go after the bait of the castle that awaits Pitohui in the centre of the SJ3 map. So far, the crown has definitely perked our bunny's ears up. Should she go for it, or would it be a bad choice? Hmmm, as for favourite scenes, I think I'd go for Pitohui's kind of carefree responses towards the castle and crown. After all, she says that she sort of gained a desire to grab the crown, it wasn't an original desire of hers....
