Hello and welcome to "Metanoia"

If you have read my Zayn story which was named "Within Me" this story will seem slightly similar since it is a re-write of it. If you haven't read or heard of it, well I'm glad because this version is going to be different and much better.

Please keep in mind that this story will contain topics such as religion, alcohol, drugs, and sexual content. For most of the first half it won't be focusing on religion but towards the second half it will be heavily focused on religion. If you are not comfortable with any of these things, I suggest you do not read this story.

The contents of this story are either fiction or related to my own personal experiences. I do not know Zayn Malik personally and this story is not meant to be offensive or come off as judgmental about his personal life in any way. This story does not affiliate with who he is in real life since it is an alternate universe (au). I am not trying to offend or judge anyone and their faith in general. I also do not condone some of the things my characters do or say. Again, they are just characters and this is just a story.

I do not promise that updates will be frequent since I am in college and I do have a life outside of the internet. This story is very dear to me which is why I've re-written it so many times. I fully intend to complete this story no matter how long it takes. All I ask is that you be kind and patient.

This is a story of fears, secrets, self discovery, and faith. This is a journey of metanoia.
