Chapter 26: She pushed him, he didn't leave
| LEXI MICHAELSON |
"When is she going to wake up?"
"Should I call her brother?"
"Brother? I never knew she had a brother!"
"Yeah she has and he arrived this morning or something. Should I call him?"
"No, he can't know about this. Her family is freaking hard."
I opened my eyes at the mention of my family. "Guys..." I croaked out. "Water..."
I saw Madison giving a glass of water to Blake who was by my side. "Here," Blake said. "Drink."
I gulped the water quickly. When I came to my senses, I quickly backed away from the position I was in. Blake's face was close to me and I was scared.
"Get away!" I shouted.
"Shh, it's okay. It's me." Blake cooed but I started getting emotional. I didn't know how the sudden urge to cry came over me, so I let out heavy tears.
"I'm so bad... I'm so bad..." I cried. "I don't deserve you!"
Blake hugged me closer to him. "Calm down."
I was close to have a panic attack.
"I can't!" I shouted, my breathing ragged. "I'm so bad! I push people away!"
Blake was cooing the entire time and Madison was just standing there, so I shouted again. "Mads! Help me! I'm so bad! Get him away from me!"
Madison just shook her head, worried, she walked to me and hugged me.
I did not want people hugging me! It claustrophobically wrong! It's making me sick!

I held a crying Lexi in my arms tightly as Madison hugged her. I didn't know what to do, I didn't even know how to calm crying people down.
Whatever her problem is, I'm going to be at her side anytime she wants me.
After watching the scene with Vincent confronting Lexi by the pool, I made a vow to myself that I'll never leave Lexi on her own. I don't care if I'm going to be around or not, but she should never bear this type of conversations alone. She may be pushing me away, but I'm not entirely leaving her. She may be naïve, but that's what makes her, her. At least, she's herself, just needs a bit of grooming and she'll rise like a blooming flower.
But right now, she was starting to have a panic attack. I was worried because I used to have panic attacks when I was in high school.
"Breathe, focus on your breathing, Lexi." I told her as she started wriggling her hands like a madman.
"Breathe... Can't breathe..." She croaked out.
"Just breathe. In and out. In..." She inhaled at my suggestion. "And out..." And she exhaled. "Good, now repeat."
Several minutes later, she was fine and breathing normally. She smiled at me and I responded back with a grin.
"Thank you." Lexi smiled. Her lips regained their original colour and I was mesmerised by her beauty. Her soft, plump lips were breath taking. Something about her lips said 'capture me'. I was so lost in the beauty of her lips that I started leaning in.
I kissed the corner of her lips, and tasted them slightly. It made my mind go haywire.
I pulled away to hear a quiet awe from someone. Madison was laughing and she made a joke, which I couldn't make out because I was captivated by Lexi's beauty.
If I were to describe Lexi, I would describe her as Beautiful and Rare as the Green Jade Flower. He eyes always held that beautiful glow to them whenever she looked at me. It felt like she was looking through my soul by just taking a look over me. Her eyebrows always showed that she was interested in whatever you had to say. Her lips... God, it were the most magical thing on earth. I wonder what type of wonders those beautiful lips could do. Talking about that, she also had a body to die for. It was breath taking to see her in that freaking black floral dress. All in all, the truth was, every time I looked at her, I felt like Paradise. And believe me, Paradise is beautiful.
She was truly a sight to admire.
"Let's go for a swim." I didn't know I said this to Lexi as her jaw dropped.
"Swim? Right now? Um..." She was hesitant, and I knew the reason.
"Vincent left right after you passed out. Its fine, you don't have to come." I said politely.
"Uh, Mads? Let's all get drenched in the pool. Blake, you in?" Lexi said. I was impressed by her energy.
"Of course." I grinned.
Time to admire Lexi in a bikini. I was still grinning when I watched Lexi's expression turn from excited to confuse.
"Anything wrong, Blake?"
I just shook my head at her question. Then, I looked at Madison and chuckled. "Apuesto a que te verás hermosa en bikini." I said in Spanish so only Madison would understand. (I bet, you will look beautiful in a bikini.)
Madison laughed harder when she saw Lexi's confused face. "What was it? I could only make out the word 'bikini'. Is-" Lexi said slowly.
"I'll tell you later, Señorita." I said, not allowing Madison to reply.

"It's so cold!" I shrieked.
"Come on, Lexi. Your hair's already damp." Blake's hand was in the air, towards me, asking me silently to hold his hand and get in the water.
The party was still going on, although when I strutted back downstairs, I imagined people to be talking or laughing about me. But everyone was just doing their own enjoyment or drinking and dancing.
"But this-" I was cut off by Madison.
"You're not gonna drown, Lexi. Me and Blake are here for you, right?" She giggled. "Plus, this is a pool, you can't drown unless you want to jump right into the twelve feet area of the pool."
"I know, but I'm scared!" I whimpered.
I know, I know I wouldn't drown or anything. It's just that, whenever I take a look at the surface of pool or sea, I always feel a bit woozy. A bad kind of woozy.
I heard Blake groan and I saw him walking closer to me while in the water. "Come on. If you don't, I swear I'll-"
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" I shouted, too much surrounded by my phobia. "Geez." I stepped in the water.
Good God.
My breathing got ragged. Sensing my discomfort, Blake got nearer to me and hugged me. "It's fine. See? It's just five feet."
"Five? Oh my God, Blake!" I shrieked. Madison was just laughing in the back.
All of a sudden, Blake's right hand traveled to the back of my knees and his right to my back, and he held me up easily. I yelped and clung to him tightly. That's when I noticed he was not wearing a shirt. Goose bumps appeared on my skin and I felt myself blushing.
"Let's go." Blake smirked at me and we went down into the water.
When he put me down on my feet, I held his hand tightly. Oh god, he was naked by his torso! His lean and muscular body was something I was admiring so much that I forgot when I started smiling like a fool.
I don't know about my family, but I think I can give him a chance. Not because I find him physically attractive, but he is one hell of a good person.
Because when I pushed him away, he never left.
