I've been constantly haunted,
By a dream,or perhaps,a memory?Traumatized and taunted,
I need to escape this agony
Reality seems unattainable,
Life without you isn't sustainable.
I close my eyes with faith,
I fail and I'm welcomed by your wraith.
My mouth dries,tongue ties,
I beg my soul to quit and yet it denies.
I'm looking for a place,
A place where I'll find solace.
In the dark I shall find it,
In the the dead of the night,
When my eyes are dry,
And my heart beats steady,
My soul is lifeless.
My sleepless solace,
My peaceful place.
