Never having experienced love,

She questioned him innocently;

"Why do you love me?"

He looked at her,

A meandering river of thoughts 

Flowing boisterously through his mind.

A question so simple,yet so complex;

A question worth a million words yet none;

A question worth a lifetime yet a split second;

A question that could be answered by your cruelly dictated brain,

Yet a question that must be answered by your unadulterated heart.

"There needn't be a reason,"he finally answers.

Let down,she gives him a weak smile.

"But if you must know.....,"he continues;

"Why don't you look into my eyes and find out why I love you?"he says.

And the rest,was history.

They spent their entire lives looking into each other's eyes,

Finding out why they loved each other.
