As I stood there,

Watching all his walls break down,

Cracks making their way up first,

And then crumbling down to ashes all at once,

I realized that in front of me was the most beautiful heart ever.

His heart had been hidden for so long,

That even he found it surprising to discover himself.

And watching that happen,

Watching him unfold into his true self,

Was as giving as it ought to be.

And his heart,in all it's wildness and insecurities,

Was as enchanting as ever.

And I intended to cherish it the way it was.

I intended to cherish him the way he was.
