14. Fallin'

Days passed and so shall the time too changed. Priya ,who was considered as the smallest child in the house among the three siblings was about to get married soon. The prospective boy's family liked the girl and agreed to her conditions after marriage. Priya was indeed happy so as the  boy.
Savita and Vijay bloomed in happiness, similarly the other family members too.

Once, Priya,Ruchi and Avyakta, sat with each other in the balcony. The trio, busied themselves chatting. Though, among them Ruchi was jibber-jabbering and Avyakta couldn't deny to the fact that her daughter, Sanyukta was no less than her. Avyakta,as usual talked minimal as required, though, she was comfortable among them. She remained busied due to her profession and it was after many days, she got a holiday. And being at home, she tried to spend her time with the ladies of the house.
The weather outside remained cool and the bluish-black clouds hovered the sky, since the arrival of Monsoon in the city.

"And..I pushed him..and he fell down of the bed..haha
While...me and Sanyukta laughed at Abhay.."
Ruchi's voice hit her ears. Priya shaked her head sideways at Ruchi's words. According to Avyakta, Priya was quite reserved type but nevertheless, friendly too in comparision to Ruchi, who was open and outgoing. She would smile at them, when Ruchi asked her something.

"Avyakta.. What happen?"
Avyakta was brought back by Ruchi's voice, who was drowned in some thoughts. She shaked her head sideways.

"You know when..Abhay first proposed me...."
Ruchi was busy in telling her love life to the girls beside her. Priya wanted to sleep, since this was the 10th time she was telling them her Love story. And when everything was fine, even Avyakta knew how Ruchi got married to Abhay but now...

"Di..Will you stop telling me your old story? How many times will you recite your saga of love? Huh!"
Priya yawned keeping her head on the chair behind her. While, A chuckle escaped Avyakta's mouth.

"Avyakta.. You tell.
Are you getting bored with my Talks? Hun?"
She pouted like a child and Avyakta gently, denied. It was surprising for her, that she was finding much interest to know about the topic.

"Priya..You are soon going to get married. Will see..Will see..
Betcha,That you'll surely be going to tell how did you fall in love? How your husband does this,that...etc..etc.."
While, Priya disagreed to her and was reluctant to agree.

"Bhabhi.. You only tell me..
Is it necessary to discuss, everything? I mean..to people around you, Is it required to tell that You are in love with someone, that too your husband? Necessary to tell, that your husband does this or that?
Bleh! All nonsense..

One should not tell what's happening behind the doors between a husband and wife, unlike you,Ruchi di.."
Avyakta agreed to her, smiling. While, Ruchi pouted.

"Hmm..Will see,when time will come!
Love makes people crazy when it knocks. Mark my words."
Avyakta, unknowingly, felt a sudden churning inside her. She was listening to the sisters' talks, intensely.
Is it true or maybe just some random thing which everyone, agrees to?

"Avyakta.. What do you think about it?"

"About what?"
Avyakta asked,frowning.

"About Love!"
Avyakta sighed and Priya as well as Ruchi sat straight, excited as to what will she say. They acted as if someone was about to give the little kids, gifts. Avyakta with a calm face, sat relaxed on the chair and looked ahead, at the city's weather.

"Love..
It is beautiful..  Beyond all the reason . Pious.
Personally, I think, there are different types of love , A family love, Friend love, Mother's love, love towards God etc..etc.. I have various definitions of love.
Like, How your mother or father treats you when you are small or whether you are big enough, to face this world..but still you would remain a child for them ,so as the love will remain same.

I don't know what the world says, Everyone has their own perspective towards it, ways to express are different but what remains common is Love.

For a wife or a husband, love is
everything that bounds them together. But except that, with love comes the respect and trust. Respect of the other person, with whom you are. Love is when you can trust. Without it, there's no meaning of love. It is hidden behind our actions, there's no love when you are show offing it. I personally believe that, one should not cry for it, begging it around.
It just happens, when it has to.
Like When you for the first time, fell for your parents,or friends  or any lover and  whatever, sympathy, care, compassion they showered on you, it was all hidden behind their actions. There was no need to tell them, yeah that They love you or you love them.
It is a feeling that isn't always required to tell.

The care a husband showers on his wife. The sharing of happiness and sorrowness, together. Laughing and enjoying each segment of life and crossing the paths of pain, misunderstandings, expectations, together, while trusting each other.

I heard someone saying that,it makes one weak. But in my dictionary, Love makes us strong, powerful.

Love is infinite. It can't be defined with physical proximity.
And...It just happens..gradually..
This is what I believe.."
Avyakta paused and looked at them. She didn't know, for how long she was speaking. Didn't know why, when she spoke about caring and all, the times she spent with Siddhant came infront of her.She saw the end of her Saree, that was formed into a knot, while she was playing with it.

Priya and Ruchi, on the other side were numb to react anything. She took their breathe away. Her words left them gaping and soon with a flash of light, came down the pouring rains, along with Priya's claps. Avyakta looked at them, with her raised brows.

"Avyakta.. You are fine na?"
Ruchi touched her forehead and Avyakta nodded while frowning.
"Who casted this magic on you? Hun?"

Avyakta looked at them quite amused, confirming her words again.

"Sorry?
Did I say something wrong, that hurted you?
I'm sorry if it did.."
Avyakta spoke but Priya and Ruchi laughed at her.

"Avyakta.. I'm astonished with your words...
See..Your defination of love has made IndraDeva, delighted that the city experienced the rainfall..haha!"
She looked and found the raindrops touching her face that were blown away to her with the wind. The air was ripe with the pleasant, dewy petrichor, that immediately enraptured and aroused her as it hit her nostrils.
While, Ruchi and Priya appreciated her, Avyakta,on the other side, sat coyly. Her heartbeats were rhythmic yet tremendous.
Whatever she spoke, was all from her heart but did she know what was happening to her?
She was quite baffled at herself, then how could she tell them the meaning of Soulmate love?

"Avyakta.. Come..."
Ruchi shouted and called her, holding her wrist.

"Where?"

"Arey..Let's go on the terrace and enjoy the rain..Come.."
Avyakta denied being hesitant. Though, some part of her wanted  to go and enjoy it but it still felt awkward for her.

"Except,me, You,Priya and Sanyukta, No one's at home. It's rare opportunity.. Come na..please?
My daughter is also sleeping..
We have good time..Don't be hesitant come..."
Lastly, Avyakta had to agree to her. Though,From inside she was excited but didn't show it. Priya refused to go upstairs, since she was afraid that she might catch cold soon.

"Mr. Malhotra's Son is too..Too..much talkative and.."

"And his show off always remains on peaks!"
Siddhant chuckled while he carried some bags as they reached to their house, keeping themselves far from the rain.

"It was good that..you came to take us Siddhant. Otherwise,we would have been drowning ourselves in his wedding."
Vijay spoke as the trio entered inside the house.

"Yeah.. When I was passing by,then, why should I not help you, hun? Moreover, I had less work today,so came home early."
Siddhant spoke keeping the bags on the table.

"Work was less or desire to see 'her' was more?"
Vijay and Savita chuckled as they teased their son, gulping down the water, he gave to them. His face was flushed and he was left with no words.

"Maa? Don't you feel that you tease me alot?"
He asked, grumpy. Her mother ruffled his hair and they together laugh.

"Okay..You take rest. While I search for other members of the family.."
Taking their leave from their room, he left to search for them, while, again humming a song, suiting the rainy weather. He guessed ,probably he might have heard it, in his Car's Radio.

She kept standing under the roof, tapping her foot with an unsuppressible desire to go under rains, while on the other side, she didn't want to become an entertainment for the neighbours, who mostly are in habits of peeping what their neighbors does.
Her green Saree swayed with the wet rain and her strands moved with the slow wet winds.

Ruchi was constantly calling Avyakta but she being reluctant, denied and kept standing under the roof. She left her, saying if she wishes, she may come and herself enjoy.

The rains became more happy as Ruchi played with the raindrops and twirled around.

It was suddenly as if the clouds heard Avyakta's desires and they beginned to pour more, Arousing her.
She wanted to go inside it but haulted. She tapped her feet along with her palms. The slow, rythmic noises made by Ruchi's anklet, kept jingling. It synced with the pitter-patter of rain, creating a soft music.

Her thoughts were broken by a forward jerk, when Ruchi pulled her by her side, enjoying and laughing along the rain. She stood in disbelief as some raindrops began to cascade down from her braided hair to her feet, along the whole length of her Saree, drenching her complete in this process.

Ruchi laughed and swayed her hands freely in the atmosphere. Enjoying even the tinest of the raindrop, she danced, which made  Avyakta to raise her brows.

"Hey girl! Move.. Dance along with me. Feel the rain. Come..Don't hesitate. It's just you and me,here..Don't hide that you love rains!" Avyakta was just standing with a hesitant face while Ruchi interrupted her thoughts.

"Mumma..Mummaa!!"
Ruchi grew despondent as she moved to look down the terrace. Her daughter in Priya's arms, who was constantly, trying to console her but she being reluctant wanted her mother at that time.

"Huh! These kids.. Never leave their mother alone..
Good timing!
I need to go Avyakta.. This little kid of mine will only stop crying until and unless I reach to her...
My funtime was this much only..."
The rains were pouring down and someone grew sad. It was Ruchi along with Avyakta. With a long face, she walked to move downstairs.

"Didi..I'm also coming. What will I do here? I should help you out, instead."
Avyakta spoke as the two ladies came under the roof.

"You ask,What will Youuuu do here?
But before that, tell me, what will you do downstairs?"
Ruchi asked her instead, wiping her face.

"I will help you..
Moreover, what will I do Alone here?
No..no..what if someone from neighborhood watch me?
I don't want to get embarrass neither any member of this family."
Avyakta spoke.

At her words,Ruchi smiled. A feeling of assurance occupied her. Ruchi was happy that,Avyakta at last accepted their family.
"Avyakta! Stop caring about me and family. What will you help me hun? Why should you waste your funtime?
I know your love for rains..
Go and enjoy.. Don't worry about me..I know how to handle her.

Plus, After such a busy schedule, you got a time for yourself and now also you want to work..Ptch.
Go and relish your rain..hehe!"
Ruchi snorted and pushed her towards the open part of the terrace.
Still, Avyakta was reluctant and with a glare from Ruchi, Avyakta haulted on her steps and herself went away.

Avyakta huffed and she wanted to go down and leaving everything behind. Her favourite,Rain. She decided to walk down but with a torment thunderstorm as if it was calling her,she stopped. Her ears were immediately hit by the sound of rains and the winds. She wanted to go back but the 'what if...' would stop her.

And finally after much fight of thoughts inside her she decided..
To let go everything away and move towards the rain. Though, she felt sad for Ruchi but her mind was only occupied with the fresh earthly smell of rain. She turned and walked towards the open terrace.

In a moment, she got drenched again. She looked sideways, if someone was watching her but soon the vicinity appeared hazy and no one could be seen.
She widened her hands in the sky, welcoming the rains. Her head up,towards the sky, eyes closed, nose pinched as the raindrops touched her face and her lips would draw a curvy smile. She circled around while her hands were wide, expanded. She had no care of anything, just she and rains.
Last time too, when it occurred she couldn't enjoy it but this time she didn't want to leave the chance.

She turned around and twirled, once, twice, thrice, having a childlike smile.
She tapped her foot as she moved the water trapped in the terrace. She swayed her body as if the rain was playing a music. The trees outside moved along as if giving a tough competition to Avyakta. She played with the small puddles through her feet.
The drops trickled down through her slender waist, visible through the Saree. She jumped and meanwhile, slow chuckle escaped her mouth. She felt as if she went back to her teenager days.

She moved in a circular motion, ruffling her hair, opening them from the trap of braid. The wet strands would fall on her face which were moved away by the winds as she danced.

And everything was noticed by someone, who just entered few minutes ago, while he stood entrapped by the beauty infront of him. Couldn't take off his eyes from her face, he felt captivated. He didn't know what was happening around, just Avyakta at that time.

Avyakta turned around towards the door of terrace, with her closed eyes, her hands still expanded and a soft smile remained transfixed.

Eyes opened and she stood rooted. Everything which felt hazy some minutes ago, seemed to be clear now. He was there infront of her.
Her smile instantly, faded. The water remained to cascade down her body but she stood still. Her widened arms, gradually, came down.

The screwdriver in his hand, which he unknowingly held while staring at her, fell down as their gazes met. He was blank, didn't know what to do. Same was with her.
She didn't had the audacity to walk even a step ahead neither he had.

A loud bang from clouds and both came to their senses. Avyakta, as fast as she could , walked towards the door. But soon,as she was passing by Siddhant, he called her and stood face to face. Cupping her face with his palm, he stared at her face and took in each and every details of her face. While, she looked at him with a shy smile. He brought his other hand towards her face and adjusted her bindi, which was out of its place. Avyakta stood close holding the saree within her palms.

"Jab Se Tere Naina Mere Naino Se Lage Re..
Jab Se Tere Naina Mere Naino Se Lage Re..
Tab Se Deewana Hua..
Sab Se Begaana Hua..
Rab Bhi Deewana Lage Re..
Rab Bhi Deewana Lage Re.."

(From the time your eyes met mine..
From the time your eyes met mine..
I have become crazy in your love from then...
I have become a stranger to everyone else...
God also seems mad in love..
God also seems mad in love..)

(Play the above song)

Siddhant was about to say something but soon their ears met with the sound of song which suited their situation. Smiles drew up on their faces, as soon as they heard it. Avyakta walked past him, shyly since this was an awkward moment for her. Her heart beated louder than ever as the drenched Avyakta ran towards her room and stood in the balcony. She didn't know why did she felt that.

Whereas, Siddhant on the other side, without caring anything, walked towards the open terrace, drenching himself in this process. He ruffled his hair and laughed, as the rain poured on him.

He stood, resting himself on the railing of the terrace. The sound of song, came from the neighbour's house as a girl enjoyed it keeping the volume full, such that everyone could hear. Siddhant laughed at her and looked down to find Avyakta standing in their room's balcony.

Siddhant closed his eyes as the raindrops touched his face, feeling it. He saw Avyakta's smile, when he called her and recalled the way she swayed herself under the rain.
Whereas, Avyakta looked up only to find him standing, with closed eyes. She stood reminiscing the moment at the terrace.

Amidst the noises the rain made, their heart thumped for each other but one was aware and the other...?

A lively smile made on her face as the wet winds touched her face.

"Is it that feeling?
Am I falling for...?"
She paused and ruffled her hair, coyly.
The wind blew and touched the bodies of both the persons, drewing up smiles on their lips.

While the rain has decided to unite the two souls again, but slowly...

It was Priya's engagement. The whole house was busy in celebrations. the most busiest persons among them were Siddhant and Abhay. He promised his sisters that he would organise his sisters' marriage in full hustle and bustle. He would look at each and everything, though it was a small family and relative's affair, organized in their big house. Avyakta, too, accompanied him wherever possible, even after being refused by him and family, several times.

Priya was sitting in her room while some of her friends, were performing their duty of teasing her. She would shy away, deeply.
In the corner, stood Savita and Ruchi discussing some important matter. Avyakta, too, lead her way to Priya. While she entered her room, she saw Savita and Ruchi, discussing and they looked in her direction. They looked at her as if wanting to say something. Priya motioned her friends to give them space.

"Maa! I understood your condition.
You don't need to take any tension for me..I can handle everything now.
You just take care that everything happens as planned for our dear priya.."
Smiling, she assured Savita.

"No..No..beti..I know you'll  handle everything.. but..."
Savita trailed off

"Maa! I promise you.. I'll handle everything! Hmm?"
Avyakta held her hands.

''Beti..there's nothing like doubting you but I have just a small fear..like managing things might be stressful for you.
Moreover, Your Paternal Grandmother is going to attend..the function..You are like a perfect Daughter-in-law infront of them. And she just knew that..you had an accident but not about...your condition.. Don't get me wrong Avyakta but being you as my daughter same as Ruchi and Priya, I have a responsiblity to look..after you..too.."
She cupped Avyakta's face. Avyakta had an assuring face and she would smile at her to believe in her.

"Maa.. Believe me..
And I'll do whatever you say.
But for that, tell me,the work I have to do."

"Avyakta.. you just  have to remain as you are but...mmm..please wear your..wedding chain and apply Vermilion..
Look..I'm not being Conservative nor any of our family members are but.. its just our grandmother doesn't like a married women without..these things.. especially on the day of any festival..
You understand, Avyakta?"
Ruchi nervously spoke while taking her mother's side.
Avyakta remembered how she wasn't even wearing these things nor did even her family members asked. She would just wear a small bindi and apply a tint of lipstick. Wearing these things might prove to be awkward for her but what could she do? She was the daughter-In-Law of the family and she has to agree as per their conditions.

"Avyakta... dear..you know I or any of us never force you for anything..
We will stay beside you..whenever you need us. And these all things are just for you only..dear!"
Ruchi held Avyakta's hand. While, Avyakta was strained. Everyone looked at her to get her response who were taut.

"Didi.. I know what you say..and..agree with your condition.. I assure you that I'll not disappoint any of you..It's not only about your family..It's about the respect of My family..too.."
She smiled and a sense of relief occupied, each one of them. Savita kissed her forehead and blessed her. Priya and Ruchi smiled at this gesture.

"Maa! But from where will I get these things?"
Avyakta asked when the mother and daughter were living the room. She asked her to look for Siddhant for this question. Avyakta bit her lips in nervousness because asking for these things from him is quite uncanny for her. She was talking with him comfortably since many days but that day she felt herself flushed. But gaining some confidence, she decided to ask him.

As soon as, Avyakta entered her room she saw Siddhant, was sitting on bed, tying his shoe laces.
He looked at her but both didn't spoke anything to each other. The women clad in a beautiful Saree, with a light makeup, moved past him towards the Almirah and searched for her required material. Though, she didn't know about the whereabouts of wedding chain and Vermilion but still she showed as if searching for her thing because asking from Siddhant about it can become a cringeworthy situation for her.
On the other hand, Siddhant was observing her rough actions. She was searching something important, he guessed. Furrowing her brows, She turned and soon, came face to face with Siddhant, dressed in a white coloured shirt that hugged his body and a grey coloured pant, while with one hand he held his coat, lying on his shoulder. Avyakta stood freezed, because of his sudden appearance and more, with his Handsomeness.

Siddhant raised his brows asking her 'what happened?'. She shaked her head in negative and walked away to the other almirah. Avyakta got the Vermilion box but didn't know where the Wedding chain was. She stared at the box for sometime and he stared, noticing her actions. She would move her hand to open it but then only put it down, she would roll her eyes, play with the box, chew her lips and nervously shake her legs. Everything which was noticed by Siddhant. She was cursing his presence there in the room since it was difficult for her to apply it infront of him plus his continuose stare added more oil to fire.

"Mm..don't stare at it. Otherwise, with your intense stare it will become a black coal.."
Siddhant stiffled his laugh, as he stood at the corner.

"That I should say to you because you're also performing the same thing like me..stop that!"
Avyakta spoke and Siddhant found himself in tight spot.

"If...You..don't mind..uh..may I apply it.."
With lot of nervousness engulfing him and bitting his lips, he asked her. He was confused why was he even scared and stammered this much for  a small thing.
"It's your..wish..I'm..not..forc-"

"Do it Siddhant!"
Avyakta ordered him,nonchalantly.

"You sure??
I mean..you don't... need to apply it..just because of someone..."

Did he know it? Thought Avyakta.

"I want to..
And..Do I need to announce it..in front of everyone? Hun?"
Avyakta asked, pissed.
Siddhant was delighted at it and she found him standing infront her in a blink of eye. He slowly took the box from her and taking a pinch of the pious red vermilion,he filled the partition in between her hair. In reflex, she closed her eyes, feeling the powder that made its way down on the hair partition. A different feeling of being a married woman, overjoyed her as if she was accepted by him.

Glint of tears occupied the corners of her eyes. Opening her eyes, she saw him who was smiling at her. Her heartbeats were erretic. Both of them, unaware why she even granted him permission to apply it. Was she accepting him, wholeheartedly?

"Siddhant.. now tell me where's my wedding chain."
She asked as he was about to leave the room. Coming back, he asked her to get aside and himself tried to search in the almirah. Basically he was just pretending,as if he was searching since the wedding chain was somewhere else. His back was facing her and she doubted at his actions.

"Here it is..take it.."
Gladly, he gave her and taking it she wore it,while narrowing her eyes at him.
"You should not keep The pious wedding chain in your pocket."
Siddhant was tightly zipped after her words. She's indeed a meticulous person, he thought. Avyakta wanted to laugh at him.
Taking her glance once in the mirror, she led her way towards the door .

"Avyakta...
You look beautiful.."
Siddhant spoke stopping her midway. Without turning around, she muttered a thanks since she was hiding the blush that crept her face, for which she was quite surprised at.

"Avyakta.. listen.."
She was stopped by him again.
"D-Don't.. f-forget..to hide that..
Birthmark..you have...on your..back..
You don't..like to..let anyone.. see...it..no?"
He was fumbling on his words and this time she has to turn back.
How did he know that I don't like to let it see anyone? And moreover, how did he know that, did he see it? Have I ever wore any deep necks in these few days, unlike today? Avyakta thought.

"How did you know I have that birthmark?"
Avyakta turned to face him and rolled up her hands in front of her chest. Her question blushed him.

"Mm...You want..to know Avyakta.."
He asked mischievously, walking a step towards her.

"Haan..tell me..why are you shying away?" She furrowed her brows.

"You sure? Think before what you ask."
He stepped closer to Avyakta.
But suddenly.. something. striked her mind and her eyes grew wide in reflex.

"N-No!
NO..need to tell that..Th-Thanks..thanks..for your advice.."
She faked smile and remembered him telling about their unborn child and for that they had..

"Why?"
His voice was mixed with humour and sensuality.

"Mmm..no..it's okay.. I got answers for my questions.
Maa..was calling you. Come soon!"
Nervously and fastly she walked out of room.
Siddhant laughed at her condition.

At his words, several thoughts engulfed her mind and a gasp escaped her mouth at the thought that she was touched by him.

The program was going in its full swing. There was all hustle and bustle in the house. The guests arrived and the prospective bride and groom were seated on their respective places. The house was big enough, so there was not much chaos. Priya was got ready by her dearest Avyakta,as she herself asked her to do so.
The ceremony was success with God's grace and the people were made to eat the different delicacies.

Avyakta was passing by few ladies when one of them called her. Walking towards them, she asked if they need anything. Those ladies were their Chirpy neighbors who never leave a chance to taunt anyone. Being the eavesdroppers, they guessed about Avyakta's condition and they decided to mock her.

One of them stiffled her laugh and asked her name, if she remembers it.
"Beta..Avyakta... mm..how are you?"

"I'm fine aunty.."
Smiling,she replied.

"Tell..me..one thing..
You remember my name? You know who Am I?"
The fat lady pursed her lips.

Avyakta, though didn't remember names of them but still she remained confident and a smile remained transfixed on her face.
The ladies thought that they would get a new person for jucosity.

"Aruna..Say Aruna.."
A whisper like voice hit her ears.
She, at a stroke, told her the name. The women looked at her in surprise.
Avyakta searched for the source of the voice as it felt recognisable and turned a little to find Siddhant, whose back faced her back, standing behind her,at a distance that he would not get visible by the ladies.

"Oh..leave that..your name was the easiest one..You tell my name?"
The other lady asked with much pride and overconfidence because she and Siddhant always used to get confused in her name but little did she knew that she was soon going to get under confidence.

But there was no voice from the other side.
"Siddhant... tell fast!"
She whispered, turning a bit. Siddhant was confused whether she was Ronika Iyer or Monika Iyer. He would always get confused with her name. He bit his lips and mumbled a name, at once.

"Ronika Iyer..Right na Aunty?"
Avyakta said and beamed.
All the aunties looked at her, gaping and quite embarrassed.
Few of them questioned her ,too but again infront of the teamwork of the husband-wife,they lost.

"Avyakta.. but...We know that you have miscarriage and..we really feel sad for you..."
They were not leaving any chance to taunt her and Siddhant's anger had no limits. But before he could take any action,Avyakta spoke.

"Aunty.. I think we all are here for the celebrations. Not for discussing our personal lives. And..if you really feel like that,no need for your  sympathy. After all,it was all God's will for whatever happened..We should not discuss something which has no meaning now.
I have not lost anything. I have my family and the one person who supports, is there with me in every phase of life..my husband...
Now..please enjoy the event. Don't hesitate to call me if you need anything."
With this, she smiled and walked away, leaving the old ladies shocked and embarrassed. Siddhant was proud, like really proud of her. He wanted to hug her at that instant only but controlling his river of emotions,he walked away.

Avyakta was easily able to manage their paternal grandmother, who never left a chance to be with Avyakta. The whole family was cheerful. The event came to an end and the guests started to depart one by one.

"Papa..what happened? Why are you this tensed?"
Abhay asked his father-In-Law, Vijay, who tried to call Siddhant.

"Beta..Look It's 10 p.m. and who knows..where did Siddhant go...
I'm trying to call him from half an hour but he's not even answering. He's not here...since the time...the guests left."
Vijay spoke with a tone filled with worry and tension.

"Papa..He must have gone to see off the guest...
Wait! Avyakta ji..must be aware of it.."
Abhay went to Avyakta who was with Priya and Ruchi, standing tensed. On asking with them, he got to know that they were unaware about him.

Whole family was filled with deep worry and anxiety. It was 11 by now and they all heard the sound of pitter-patter. Savita was in worry for her son. Avyakta went to the small temple in house and prayed seeking, forgiveness for all the sins Siddhant did and asked for his safe arrival.

She ran and sat on her bed, didn't know why but soon she felt wet on her cheeks and found the stream of tears coming down through her eyes, incessantly. Avyakta took her wedding chain in her hand and touched it with her forehead. She closed her eyes while the tears did their work to come down. She cried because she was scared. Scared that the family should not see that day again like her. That night should not repeat. It was difficult for her to stop those tears. They expressed the pain and worry she had for him.

They heard a honk and a moment later they saw Siddhant, completely drenched, with two packets in each hand. His smile completely vanished as he saw the look on each one of their faces. It felt like in a battlefield he was in an opposite party and had to fight some war against them who are together.

"What happen? Why this look on your faces?"
Little did he knew that after these two questions, he will not be able to speak a word.

Admirer or hater of Rain? What feelings engulf you when you get drenched in rain or enjoy it from distance?

Tbh,The rains give me a feeling of joy and somewhere a Romantic feeling too. I just want to go and sit for hours under it and stare at the beauty of nature. Rainy days also reminds me of my precious old days when I was becoming Pranushka's fan, since those days used to rain alot.

Also, I wanna thanks and dedicate this chapter to suns2411, vizag_forever , cutie_pixie123 for nominating this book on various nominating platforms..
