|Year 1| {4}
"So you are telling me that you never properly practiced Quidditch?", Sky asked as they walked towards the Quidditch-Pitch right after breakfast on a Sunday morning. They would have the Quidditch pitch for about 2 hours before the team showed up for training.
"Of course not, I live in a city full of muggles where would I fly? Plus, I can't even afford a broom!"
"Well, be glad you found me then. I have two brooms now, snatched one from the school supply", Sky said, throwing one of the old schoolbrooms to her new friend.
"Nice! How did you get this?", Samantha asked.
"I have friends in upper years. I helped out one and now he got me a broom."
"Wow! How did you make friends in upper years so fast?"
"Well, I am pretty smart and good at finding out secrets. The rest is not important", Sky explained, not really answering the question at all. But Samantha didn't really care, she just wanted to fly again, feeling the wind in her hair and the freedom that it brought.
When the were both in the air, Sky threw the ball at her and she almost fell of her broom trying to catch it.Sky laughed: "You'll get the hang of it."
The girls trained hard and by the time they were done, Samantha was able to easily catch and throw the ball back to Sky. She was very proud of herself, but her abilities were nothing compared to Sky's, who flew like she was born on a broom.
They walked back, both of them laughing and talking about how they would be amazing in the Quidditch team.
"You would defenetly impress Aaron", Sky said and smiled at her friend, who quickly blushed.
"If wanted to impress him, yes. But I don't, so please leave it be?"
"Fine. It's just nice to mock you with it", Sky giggled and friendly bumped into Samantha.
"Hey you two", a familiar voice greeted them when they entered the Slytherin common room.
"Reg, hey", Samantha smiled and wanted to hug her friend, but he seemed upset and backed off.
"I didn't see you at breakfast. And is that one of the school brooms?"
"Well we were just playing some Quidditch. What is your problem?", Samantha asked, while Sky slowly backed off. This was something these two had to figure out and she knew that she would only make it worse.
"I never see you anymore. When I told you to get a girl friend, I didn't mean you should dump me for her!"
"What? This is what this is about?"
"Yes. I thought we were best friends and nothing could ever change that", Regulus said very quietly, quoting a vow that they had made just after the christmas break.
"But we are! Just because I found another friend doesn't mean I will leave you! How about we spend the whole day together?", Sam suggested, feeling flattered how strongly Regulus felt about her.
His face instantly lit up: " That sounds like a great plan. The weather is great, why don't we sit by the lake?"
The school year was coming to an end, which meant studying for the exams. Regulus, Sky and Samantha did it together, sitting by the lake like many other students, their sleeves rolled up and sitting on their robes.
Sky and Regulus started getting along very well, they had the same dark humour, joking about how to get rid of all the mudbloods in Hogwarts. Even though Samantha found a little scary to joke about killing, she laughed with them, not wanting to feel left out.
"Snivellus! Studying with the redhead again? How is she even friends with you?", they heard a voice from not far and Samantha instantly got up to defend her brother. He was very clever with potions, but not so much when it was about finding the right words to defend himself.
"Leave him alone, you little rat!" As Samantha walked over to the group of people, Lily Evans already defendet her brother. She was a mudblood herself, but also Severus' best friend, which meant that she had to have something special about her.
"Oh, you are so cute defending him. But you do know that he is on the wrong side. He is in Slytherin, all wizards are evil in Slytherin", James said, pointing his wand at Severus, who just stood there, expecting the worst.
"And all the arrogant toerags come to Gryffindor,I persume?", I said, stepping between the boys, who called themselves the 'Marauders' now, and her brother.
"You again", Sirius spat, eying her like she was his biggest enemy.
"Yes, me again", Samantha parroted boy, who ran his hand through his long hair to fix it.
"You are so peacocky, all of you", she added, looking at Remus. He was such a nice guy, why would he hang out with them?
" Uhh, what an insult. Look, we just wanted some fun hanging your brother by the underwear. You either watch or join", James said and the other Gryffindors that had gathered around them, clapped their hands.
"You bastard", Regulus screamed and ran over to his brother, punching him in the nose. Samantha heard a satisfying crack, just before she got punched as well. She didn't know who did it, but it must have been some Gryffindor girl, so she got up and just punched and kicked anything with a red tie.
If it hadn't been for Professor McGonnagal who showed up, the Gryffindors probably would have won the fight due to their bigger numbers.
Samantha woke up in the Hospital wing. She felt better, but the first hit that went a little unter her eye, still hurt the most.
"You look horrible", a voice next to her said, chuckling to himself.
"Thank you Reg", Samantha said without looking, because she knew his voice. She heard some people moaning and a girl even cried. There must have been about ten people and now all of them endet up in the hospital wing and probably a month of detention.
"Guess again." Samantha furrowed her eyebrows and looked to the right, just to see Sirius Black next to her. She rolled her eyes, as far as that was still possible.
"This look really suits you", he mocked, but to her surprise and disliking, he didn't seem to have gotten hit in the face at all.
"And you probably rather ran than to actually fight."
"You saw my brother coming at me. Madame Pompfrey was just so nice as to fix me first. I have that effect of people", Sirius grinned. He was right, she had heard his nose crack, but they must have fixed it with a spell.
"Like, wanting to puke because you are so slimey and self loving?", Samantha shot back, swearing that if she ever stayed at the Black house again, she would pull the biggest prank on him.
"Outsch. You are hurting my feelings", Sirius said, his voice dripping with Sarcasm.
"Everyone, listen up", the sharp voice of Professor McGonnagal echoed through the room. "I am disappointed in each and everyone of you, especially my house. I thought better of you. Since there is only one week of school left, you will start detention in the next year. I have written down all your names. I have put you in two groups, one group will help Hagrid and the other group Professor Filch. After you are done with your work, and it is done when they say so, you may come to me and tell me how sorry you are for punching a fellow student. If I believe you, you are free to go, if not, well you go back to Mister Filch." After the teacher was done with her speech, everyone felt bad. Some because they regret hitting other students and some because they got caught.
"Oh that's just splendid. Having to clean up while there is Quiddich practice", Sirius complained.
