Luke arrives in a vast room covered in reflective minerals, torches lighting the paths, and split apart by a large canyon that can't be jumped over.

Luke: "Good thing I've got echo location."

Luke readies another map as the bat tattoo begins to glow.

Luke: "Now I believe that the Transi have an extra Metama statue or two."

Luke changes into a bat and flies over the canyon and heads right.

Meanwhile...

An old man with strange tattoos covering his entire body, sitting in the center of a strange circle looks away from four individuals three female and each in a black, orange, and red tunic respectively, and the eldest is male in a navy blue tunic.

Old Man: "Damiax and Jesh were just as worthless as anticipated."

The youngest of the four, a young girl steps forward.

Girl: "May I prove myself father?"

Father: "Halen, go forth towards the end of the Reflective Layer. Marc will be in Fungi, Dyane will be Passage, leaving Terri in Magma."

Marc: "Yes father."

The circle begins to glow.

Father: "Now get out of here you eyesores."

They exit the room.

Meanwhile...

The injured boy is nearly at the town.

Bleeding Boy: "(weakly) Help... me..."

He can see Dante and Cereza entering town.

Bleeding Boy: "(weakly)Them..."

Meanwhile...

Woman: "More Metama?"

The villagers are shocked to see more Metama.

Cereza: "So someone was here before us."

Woman: "He's already within the caverns."

They look towards the entrance.

Dante: "We know your story."

They head for the entrance.

Cereza: "We'll go make sure he isn't dead."

Woman: "(stunned) Th-Thank you..."

Meanwhile...

Luke: "This place is insane."

Luke has taken refuge in a small pocket in the wall and currently has a small fire going and is cooking some bear meat.

Luke: "(in head) Why did I get away?"

His eyesdrift towards his food...
