A few hours later...

Terri: "Damiax..."

Terri stands in front of a trap door.

Terri: "(deep breath) I wish I had your courage."

Meanwhile...

Father: "Now I'll have Terri die for me just like the others."

The circle beneath him glows brighter and brighter.

Father: "Damiax will be the one to witness my chains shatter."

Meanwhile...

Dante: "(sweating) We'd better have enough water to get through here."

Damiax: "It's not much further, but..."

The heroes have locked gazes with Terri.

Terri: "Am I in your way little brother?"

Cereza reaches for her blade.

Cereza: "You can keep your life if you get out of our way."

Dante's wolf tattoo begins to glow.

Terri: "I'd rather get my revenge on him."

A magma waterfall blocks everyone off except Luke.

Luke: "(sarcastically) Isn't that fantastic?"

Luke's coyote tattoo begins to glow.

Terri: "You've killed Jesh, Halen, Marc, and Dyane..."

An aura of hatred forms around her as her hands turn into fox claws.

Terri: "(pissed) ... you're going to die right here, right now!"

Luke changes into a coyote.

Luke: "That's what they all say."

Dante: "We'll find our way around!"

Damiax: "Just bide your time until then!"

The others search for another way.

Terri: "I'm going to make you pay for killing the few people that mattered!"

She charges at Luke.

Luke: "I appreciate your sympathy."

Luke runs away from her.

Terri: "Don't try and avoid me!"

Terri cuts Luke off.

Luke: "(sweating, in head) I won't last long like this!"

Luke reverts to human form.

Luke: "Looks like I can't buy time, so..."

Luke pulls out his staff as he evades Terri's attacks.

Luke: "... I guess I'll make time!"

Luke blocks attack after attack from Terri.

Terri: "Make time? Don't make me laugh."

Luke low sweeps Terri off of her feet.

Luke: "You think that I haven't done this before?"

Terri catches another attack from Luke and tosses him to the side.

Terri: "Stop procrastinating!"

Luke takes a stand.

Luke: "I'm not trying, just so you know."

Luke leaps into the air.

Terri: "Shut your damn mouth!"

Terri blocks a drop kick.

Luke: "I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean."

Luke jumps off of Terri's arms and lands behind Terri.

Luke: "See?"

Luke thrusts his staff straight into her spine with a loud cracking sound.

Terri: "(in pain) I-I can't feel my legs!"

She collapses onto the ground as the others finally make their way over.

Cereza: "Had to stop holding back?"

Luke: "What do you think? I almost had a magma bath twice."

Damiax kneels next to his sister.

Damiax: "He severed your spine."

Terri grabs Damiax's hand.

Terri: "(tearing up) End me."

Damiax rips off a piece of her tunic.

Damiax: "That's not my choice."

Damiax looks towards the others.

Dante: "If you can't move, you can't hurt us."

Cereza: "I agree."

Luke's fist is shaking.

Luke: "Fine."

Luke begins walking forward.

Dante: "We'll be back for you."

The others head forward.

Terri: "(tearing up) Why?"

Luke looks back at her.

Luke: "I would've spared them if I knew the truth sooner."

Damiax opens the trap door...
