"You got dirty again!?" a woman said before hitting young Y/N on the face with her fist. Her rags that was given by the orphanage got dirty because she fell on the muddy area of the field. The girl didn't cry since she was already used to it. She was punished along with the boy who was next to her. He had silver hair with a questionable hairstyle and a pair of unique eyes. The boy was really bruised since the incident that happened probably a few weeks ago.

"And you!" the woman yelled towards the boy who looked scared and shaking. "You know what? Just leave. I don't want to deal with you brats anymore." The woman said crossing her arms. The kids then left the room.

"Hey." the boy called Y/N. "What is it?" Y/N turned around feeling a bit annoyed. The boy didn't make eye contact then he said "Can I follow you?". "I am not going anywhere. I am going back to my room." Y/N said then she walked away. "Please..." the boy begged. The girl felt bad so she said yes.

They walked to Y/N's room. Y/N had a roommate but she's busy reading books at the library. "My friend is reading books at the library for a while so you could stay here." Y/N said. "I see." he said. "So why do you want to be here?" Y/N asked. "I feel lonely..." he said sighing. Then, he continued "Everyone hated me for some reason. Ever since the tiger came to our orphanage and killed the chickens and ruining the vegetables. I don't understand." he explained.

"I remember that incident though I was sleeping at the time. I didn't know what actually happened. I remembered Yuna waking me up telling me to go to the hall." Y/N said. "I see. I remembered myself waking up in my own room. Before that, I was just hanging around at the field." he said. "Maybe your the tiger!" Y/N joked laughing. "That's mean!" Atsushi said frowning. "I am just kidding. Though I wished I was that tiger. I wanna roam freely and if everyone wanted to hunt me down, I could just kill them in an instant." Y/N staring at the ceiling just dreaming about it.
"You still daydream about children's stuff? You're gonna be 18 you know?" Atsushi said. "Age is just a number. Chill out!" Y/N said laughed at Atsushi's face.

Ever since that day, Y/N and Atsushi would always spend time together whether it was at Y/N's room or the library. They would always talk about their future after getting out from the orphanage. Y/N also seemed to notice Atsushi's liking towards the dish called Chazuke.

One day, Atsushi went up to Y/N during free time in the hallway. "Y/N, can you follow me to the cherry blossom tree behind the building?" Atsushi asked. "Ok, sure." she answered following him.
He took the h/c girl to the tree. It was beautiful. Petals were falling from the tree slowly and it had a lovely and romantic aura around it. "Y-Y/N, I wanna say something to you." Atsushi said stuttering. "Yes?" she asked. "I-I like you...." he said looking down. His face was really red like a tomato. Y/N was stunned. Her e/c eyes stared at him for a moment and then she kissed him. Then, her lips let go of his lips. "You know the answer now, don't you?" Y/N said smirking. "Hehehehehe......."

Y/N returned to her dorm room to see Yuna packing her bags. "Y-Yuna! W-Where are you going?" Y/N asked. "I am getting out of here tomorrow." Yuna said as she continued to pack her bags. "Have you found a job? A shelter?" Y/N asked again. "Yeah. Somewhere in Yokohama obviously." Yuna said. "I am gonna miss you!" Y/N said hugging Yuna with her tears pouring down her face. "Once I get out of here, I will search for you!" Y/N said. Yuna smiled then said "Ok."

A few days after Yuna left, Y/N felt a bit down. No one was staying with her at the dorm anymore. Though she still had experience some happiness with Atsushi, her boyfriend. Y/N remembered the time she told Yuna about her having a boyfriend. Yuna was shocked at that moment but was proud of her best friend. "Atsushi, could you sleep with me tonight?" Y/N asked. "Ehhhh!? W-Why!?" he asked blushing just thinking about it. "I feel alone ever since Yuna left. So please stay with me for just one night!" Y/N begged. "B-But... What if we get caught??" Atsushi asked. "We won't! Trust me!" her e/c eyes were gleaming with light. "F-Fine...." Atsushi surrendered.

That night, Y/N was waiting at her own room. She looked at the window that showed the moon shining through her window. It was beautiful. Then, she heard a quiet knock. She ran towards the door and saw Atsushi. "Come in..." she whispered motioning for Atsushi to come in. "You sleep at that bed." Y/N pointed towards the vacant bed. Then, he layed down on that bed covered himself with the blue blanket that was already on the bed. "Good night, Atsushi!" Y/N said. "Night." Atsushi said.

"We are going to Albany, people!" cried Mr. L/N, Y/N's father who was driving the car smiling. "I am so excited! I wanna tell everyone about how beautiful the place it's gonna be!" said Y/N. "Let's hope they don't get jealous." said Y/N's eldest sister, Minami. "I wanna take some photographs for my project." said Kaoru, Y/N 2nd eldest sister said.

As hours gone by, the night was getting darker and darker. "Honey, are we going on a right route?" Mrs. L/N. "Well..." Y/N's father felt a bit dizzy because he was exhausted. Then, all of the sudden Y/N's father accidentally turn somewhere on to the side that lead to nowhere. "Honey, no-" Y/N woke up from her sleep only to see her father crashing on the side of the road. Y/N went unconscious.

"Ah!" Y/N cried out from her sleep. She was awaken from that sleep. "Mother.... Father.... Sisters...." she muttered crying. Atsushi then woke up hearing the sounds of crying from Y/N. "Y-Y/N-chan! What's wrong!? Why are you crying!?" Atsushi asked going up to Y/N. "I had a nightmare. The time where my whole family died but me...." she said sobbing. "Y/N..." Atsushi muttered her name then hugged her. "I remembered waking at *sob* the h-hospital... First, it was me and my mother who survived but then, the next day.... She passed away too. I remembered we w-went to Australia on a h-holiday..." she said tears were pouring down like waterfalls.

A few minutes later, Y/N fell asleep again with Atsushi next to her. Atsushi didn't sleep at all. He didn't want to say it but he wished he had a family vacation for once though sadly his family abandoned when he was a baby in that orphanage. "Y/N... I am gonna protect you with my life." he whispered to the sleeping Y/N touching her h/t h/c hair.
