Day 2 : Part 1

Sasha stayed in Lorraine's room the whole night. She didn't had the guts to go out.

She helped Lorraine get ready for school, made her breakfast and dropped her to school. She didn't return back to her home. She didn't feel safe there anymore. She decided to sit at a nearby park till it was time to meet Caleb.

She wondered why was this happening with her. It never  happened before, she had stayed all these years of her life in that house and now she was afraid to stay there.

She finally realised that all this has started right after Nancy's death. Sasha wondered whether it really had any connection with Nancy or she was just over thinking.

After sometime, she reached the place where she had asked Caleb to meet. He was already standing at the entrance. He smiled widely. He has such a joyous smile, Sasha thought as she smiled back at him.

Caleb remarked the way Sasha was looking dull and tired.

" I couldn't sleep properly last night. " Sasha replied.

Caleb just nodded sympathetically. Ever since, he knew Sasha, which was of course when both of them were in kindergarten, he had never seen Sasha so dry and dull except when her parents died. She was always very bubbly.

They sat and munched on some fries and coffee while Sasha told him everything that happened yesterday. Although it was hard to believe, Caleb trusted his friend.

He offered to stay over but Sasha denied it politely, saying she didn't want to put him at risk because of her. Although, she agreed to let Lorraine stay at Caleb's house for some days.

Caleb advised Sasha to talk about it to the local church priest. It surprised Sasha, as Caleb was an atheist. She decided to visit the Church in evening, after Nancy's funeral.
