Ray's POV

"Rayyyyy! Look! Watch this! Are you watching?" A girl a year older than me with black hair and red eyes yelled. She wanted to show me something, again.

"I'm watching, Jaz. What is it?" I ask, watching. She grins, and then does a backflip.

"Did you see how cool that was! I learned it from a friend of mine!" Jaz states proudly. I am in shock. She did that so coolly! I wanna be like that one day!

"Wake up time!" I hear. Suddenly, there's a weight on top of me and my eyes fly open. My dream fades from my brain. It was a dream, I thought. Well, of course it's a dream, more of a memory actually, it happened years ago.

"You good bro?" Tom jokes from where he jumped on me. Oh yeah, that must of been the weight. He's surprisingly light for someone our age.

"I'm fine. Now get OFF." I huffed as I pushed him off. He started laughing. He has a nice laugh, not in a weird way though... I thought to myself as he gets up. I sigh as I get up as well. We both start changing into the uniform.

After getting dressed, we met up with JJ and Moji. "Hey guys!" Tom said. I waved to them as a greeting. We all went down stairs to the cafeteria to eat. For breakfast it was hash browns, eggs, sausage, and a choice of milk or juice. I got apple juice.

Then it was time for class. There, I was introduced to Ally, Ailey, and Sydney, who were all friends of Moji and Tom. It seemed like everyone was friends with Tom, who could blame them. He's happy, energetic, funny, and overall just a joy to be around.

After class, Ally informed me there would be a pool party tonight. It was to celebrate something blah blah blah, stupid school pride stuff.

Honestly, I wasn't planning on going but JJ came up to me during lunch. The lunch consisted of a sandwich, either pbj, ham and cheese, or turkey, chips, and juice. We are together and he expressed his excitement for the pool party. I couldn't let him down if he was this excited. So I reluctantly agreed.

There were a few more classes after lunch, but then we could go back to the dorms. I picked out my outfit for the party and waited.
