Josh's pov:

"You know, we didn't have to take a short cut to santa", I said, sighing while Tyler tried to climb up the high hill, covered in white, glittery snow.

"But we're faster there when we take the short cut", Tyler yelled, causing me to roll my eyes.

"We don't even know if that's the right way, Tyler", Josh yelled back, "and this hill doesn't look like it's good for climbing, don't fall down!"

"Josh, come on, I know exactly that this way is better than the old one."

"And who told you that?"

"Spencer did", Tyler answered.

"Oh, so just because Spencer told you that this way is a good short cut to get to santa, you're actually doing it? What if he was just joking?", I asked, raising my eye brows.

"Well, we'll never know if we won't try it", Tyler said, "Please just follow me and if we are wrong then we can turn around again and take the normal way."

"If you are wrong."

"Ok, ok", Tyler mumbled under his breath, "if I am wrong, better?"

"Yeah, much better", I said back, taking a deep breath before following Tyler up the hill.
After a few minutes of climbing, I started to breath heavily, feeling too mich weight on my lungs and my throat began to feel sore from breathing the cold and dry air.

"I don't think this is a good idea, I'm probably getting a cold", I sighed, but Tyler just kept on going.

"Come on, Tyler, this is getting nowhere", I said, this time louder, but he still ignored me.

He came to a stop, he probably reached the top of the hill, but he still didn't care to turn around.

"Tyler!", I said, but he just stared at what was in front of him.

"What is so interesting here?", I asked when I finally stood next to Tyler.

And then I knew what he was staring at. I never saw something beautiful as this before. My eyes widened by the sight of a wide field, similar to a winter wonder land. The trees were shining in several colours, guiding a way to Santa which was made out of candys. Snow was falling on the ground gracefully, turning the whole way into the most beautiful locations on earth.

The snow was reflecting the lights the trees were shining in. Some were red, some green, some white, some blue.

"This is-", I said, not able to continue.

"Absolutely beautiful", Tyler ended my sentences staring at the trees in awe.

Some little reindeer were playing in the snow, even some bunnies, cats and dogs were here. A puppy stood right in front of me with its big eyes which were shining in dark blue.

I kneeled down and started to stroke it, causing the little puppy to smile slightly.

"Josh! Look over here!", Tyler said, waving at me.

I let go of the puppy and walked over to Tyler who was pointing at a tree out of candys.

"Oh my santa", I mumbled.

"Here, these are delicious", Tyler said, handing me some red and green candys and a chocolate bar, which I took hungrily.

Then we continued walking, and suddenly we even heard Christmas music playing in the distance.

I felt a hand on mine, seeing Tyler who started dancing, pulling me with him.

"Walking in a winter wonderland!!", he sang, pulling me closer to him.

I giggled when we both danced our way out of the wonderland.

We were nearly at the end of the road when we both stopped, just looking into our eyes, dreaming.

A mistletoe was growing above our heads out of nowhere. Tyler's cheeks started to head up by he sight of the plant over our heads.

I nervously bite my lip, not knowing what to do.

I was waiting for this moment now for over three years to come and it's here. I should take my chance.

So I closed my eyes slowly and leaned forward.

I stopped over tylers lips for a second before giving him a soft and small kiss on his lips. He seemed to be surprised by it, but didn't hesitate to kiss back.

It was just a small and short kiss, but it was something so powerful and meaningful.

We let go of each other and I looked immediatly on the ground again.

Then we both walked to Santa, hand in hand, smiling like two idiots.

We have to take the route through the winter wonderland more often....
