14☆Santa claus is coming to town (part1) (Ryden)
Ryan's pov:
"Are you excited?", Brendon asked me, his smile just starting to get wider and wider.
"How couldn't I be? We're going to prepare the sleigh for santa this year!", I said, grinning.
"We have to be careful or santa will never leave such an important task to us again", Brendon said.
"I still don't know why he even chose us in the first place, but why should I complain. It's an honor to prepare the sleigh!"
Brendon and I were desperately waiting for santa to arrive. We wanted everything to be perfect for Christmas.
"Good to see two of my favourite elves here", a deep but warm voice said behind us, causing us to turn around.
"Santa, we've been waiting for you", Brendon said, smiling.
"So", Santa started to talk, "Do you guys know how to prepare the sleigh?"
"Yes, we have to pack the presents on the sleigh and have to make sure that no present is missing", I said, standing straight.
"Exactly, I count on you", Santa said, smiling, "but I know you two will do a great job at it."
"When is the sleigh here?", I asked.
"In about a few minutes", the long bearded man said, "I have to leave you guys now, wish me good luck for this year!"
"Good luck!", we both yelled after him.
A few minutes after the conversation we were ready to prepare the sleigh. We put on some music and checked every single present.
"Do you think that's it?", Brendon asked me, when we put the bag of presents on the sleigh.
"I guess that's it", I said, taking a look at brendon, who looked proudly at the work we've done. I noticed the simple things about him, the one strain of hair falling on his face, how his chocolate brown eyes lit up at the sight of the sleigh, how his plumb lips turned into a big smile.
I loved his lips.
I would do anything to -
"You alright?", Brendon asked, pulling me out of my thoughts, "you kinda zoned out."
"Oh, yeah", I mumbled, my cheeks starting to heat up, "I'm a-alright."
Brendon smirked slightly before chuckling, causing my knees to go a bit weak.
"Anyway", he said, "I think we should tell santa we're ready."
"That's a good idea", I mumbled, not looking up. Brendon didn't need to see my red cheeks.
"Thank you, elves!", Santa exclaimed behind us, "you two really did a great job at it! Thank you!"
"You're welcome, it was a honor for us", Brendon said, grinning.
"But now I have to go, i wish you two a nice Christmas night", Santa said, giving us a hug, before stepping into the sleigh, flying with all the famous reindeer into the dark night, ready to give every children on earth a present.
"Its a beautiful thing", Brendon sighed next to me.
"What?"
"Santa gives all the kids joy, happiness, hopes, something to be grateful for and one day to believe in magic again", he said, "that's something beautiful, don't you think?"
"It is", I said, turning my head to him.
He looked good in the moon light, his smile always managed a smile to crawl up my face.
He also turned his head to me, his eyes locked on mine. His smile turned into a small side smirk and his eyes wandered down to my lips. I started to feel nervous suddenly.
Our lips were just a few inches away, I could easily lean forward and our lips would be connected.
I closed my eyes slowly and leaned forward slightly, Brendon did the same.
But of course, this moment was too perfect.
Something had to get in its way.
But I didn't expect this to happen...
A dog barked behind us, causing us to open out eyes suddenly.
"Was that a dog?", Brendon asked with narrowed eyes.
"I guess", I said, still staring at his lips.
"Yes, there is a dog! It's a little puppy!", Brendon said, pointing right behind me. He made his way to the small puppy barking on the ground. He had a big, red bow on his head.
"Why is there a dog?", I asked when Brendon picked him up.
"I think we forgot one present", he sighed.
"No! No.... come on, don't tell me that this dog is a present", I said loudly, "we messed up, one child won't get a present this year and it will be our fault!"
"Then we have to give this kid their present, am I right, Nora?", Brendon asked, smiling at the puppy.
"Who is nora?", I asked confused.
"I named the puppy Nora", he said.
"How are we even supposed to bring the present to it's owner?", I asked.
"This present is for a little girl named Emma", Brendon said, "it stands on the little card. Here also stands an address, we could practically give this to her."
"But how?"
"I have an idea..."
