Flynn was having a nice dream about playing with his daughter and wife when suddenly a bee poked him in the ribs.

"Stop it, you stupid bee" he hissed in his dreams.

The bee poked him again. He swatted it off rubbing his aching side.

Then the bee poked his nose and shouted "WAKE PEASANT! !!"

Flynn gasped and opened his eyes to come face to face with the a guard.

"Oh not these again!!" Flynn whined and closed his eyes.

"Stand up!!" The man ordered and Flynn stood up

"Um Blondie wake up" He said shaking a sleeping Repunzal.

"What Eugene. Ahhh!!" Repunzal screamed as she saw guards surrounding their boat.

"What happened Punzie" Merida said sleepily rubbing her eyes and sitting up.

"Where are you from and what are you doing here?" The man demanded.

"I am Eugene and this is my wife, daughter and cousin,we come with peace" he said making a peace sign.

"What should we do with them?" One of the guards asked his leader.

"Lets take them to the King" the leader suggested and the others nodded.

They took out their handcuffs and handcuffed them all. Merida was about to protest but Repunzal stopped her.

"Let me handle this. I am great poeple person" she said calmly while being handcuffed.

"Hey what about the little girl. You can't handcuff her like that!!" Merida protested with her hands behind her back.

The leader rolled his eyes but agreed. He tied a peice of rope on Lynn's left hand and tied the other end to Repunzal's right arm.

"There happy" he said sarcastically.

Merida ignored him.

They walked into markets full of poeple. Everyone left their own work and looked curiously at the new strange members being dragged by the guards.

Poeple whispered to eachother. Merida kept her head low and just gritted her teeth.

Repunzal was feeling extremely nervous and didn't what do. She just shared worried glances with her husband and gave reassuring smiles to her daughter.

Eugene was being constantly poked with the tips of swords. He kept glancing at the three females behind him. He was the only one men here and if something happened to him then what will happen to his daughter? His wife? And his friend?. He just shuddered at these thoughts.

Poeple were laughing and pointing at them. Some children were making fun of Merida's hair but there were also poeple who had sympathy in their eyes.

One old woman with a brave heart stopped the guards and said " Shame on me that I am a Southern Isle citizen. Look how are you treating the women and the poor little girl. Shame on you and shame on all of us"

The woman must be of immense importance because after that. Everyone stopped whispering and staring and went back to work. The guards opened Merida and Repunzal's handcuffs and replaced them with rope.

The woman even gave Lynn a peice of bread and left.

Finally they reached the royal court.

It was court filled with royals on each side.

Inthe middle sat the king onthe throne.

Then on each side sat 6 Prince. They were wearing smaller crowns than the king.

In total there were 12 prince. Merida noticed that there was extra throne on the left hand side which was empty.

The Queen's throne was next to the king. She was weary looking woman with streaks of gray in her copper coloured hair. She had a tired expression on her face. Anyone could tell she used to be a fine young woman.

Repunzal looked nervously around as the 12 young men looked at her with curious eyes.
Flynn glared at them despite his situation.

Merida like Flynn glared at everyone of them even the king. The 12 men looked shocked but the king just looked amused and impressed by her brave action.

"So what brings you to Southern Isles
Fate, Destiny" the king asked.

"A boat" Merida said rolling her eyes. Flynn didn't argue and just nodded.

Repunzal giggled and the King just looked more amused.

"How dare you talk to my father like that!!" The eldest roared.

"Yeah your a woman!! A woman doesn't speak with a man like this" the 5 number brother said.

"Where I come from. Women are equal to men and I can talk to him any way I want!!" Merida shouted.

"Silence!!" The king shouted.

"In our country. If a woman does a mistake the punishment should be taken by your male relative" one of the prince said standing up and swinging his sword towards a handcuffed Flynn.

All four of them gulped.

"Fight like a man!! He can't compete you his hands are tied" Merida shouted struggling with solider who was holding her.

"Merida your making it worse" Flynn hissed. He wasnt in a shape to fight. He was covered with small wounds the soldiers had given with their swords.

"Fine lets wrestle" the prince said throwing his sword and cracking his knuckles.

The soliders opened Flynn's handcuffs and he managed to stand up.

"Please dont hurt him" Repunzal pleaded but was ignored.

The prince punched Flynn's jaw. Flynn punched his eye but missed. The prince kicked Flynn's stomach wound and he crumpled onthe ground with pain.

"Daddy!!" Lynn screamed and tried to run to Flynn.

"Shut up little girl" the soldier said and twisted her hand.

"Ouch!!! Mommy! It hurts" the poor girl said crying and rubbing her small wrist.

"Lynn!!. Mommy's here. Please let me go I beg you. My daugher!! She's hurt" Repunzal pleaded and struggled but the guard kept a firm grip.

Merida couldn't move. A family was being destroyed because of her. She was just like Drago. She had to do something.

"Lynn!! Daddy's here" Flynn said clutching his aching side. He started to feel dizzy.

"Shut up peasant!!" The prince said kicking Flynn's head and he fainted as blood came pouring out of his head.

"Flynn!!!"

"Dad!!"

They shouted but the horror was yet to come. The Prince picked up his sword and grinned " Now for the final touches" he said raising his sword above Flynn's unconscious body.

"Nooo!!" Merida led a war cry.

She kicked the guard inthe shins so he fell backwards. She cut the ropes from his sword's sharp blade.

She swiftly picked his sword and charged at the prince who had frozen to his position.

"What the-" was all he managed to say but was thrown backwards by Merida.

No one could move. Everyone was frozen in their position.

The Prince finally regained his senses and picked up his sword. The fighting was intense. Merida had to admit he was a brilliant sword fighter but she was also taught by the best. Their swords clashed with eachother and they both were trying their best to hold on.

Merida knew her arms were gonna give very soon so she kicked the man on his stomach and he fell back with a groan.

She then quickly got his sword and put her
left leg on his chest so he couldn't move.

"Give up" she demanded placing the tip of her sword on his neck.

Clap clap clap

Some start clapping from behind. Everyone turned to king who was clapping whole heartedly and said " Bravo, young lady" he finnished with a smile.

"And you" he turned to his son with a scowl.

"How dare you fight with a women. How dare you raise a sword on her!!. Guards lock him in his room" he ordered.

"And take these two young women and little girl to the guest rooms and ask the maids to attend them. Take this young men to Doctor William" he added with a smile.

"What's your name dear?" He asked Merida.
"Mer..Merida" she anwsered.

"Today we have a feast onthe honour of Merida's bravery" he announced and left.

With Hiccup

"No no this isn't true. This can't be happening" Hiccup said running his fingers through his hair and let out a frustrated cry.
He was standing in area which was covered in ash.

He used the water dragons in extinguishing the fire which had destroyed the whole southern area of Dunbroch.

Hamish, Harris and Hubert still hadn't reached yet and Hiccup didn't know how to tell the news that their sister, mother alongside their whole poeple burned and was nothing more but a pile of ashes.

Hiccup was aimlessly wandering around. Merida was nothing more but a pile of dust now. The smart mouthed, brave archer and most importantly the love of his life was gone.

Only one thing in his mind roamed right now. REVENGE. Drago was gonna pay for what he has done.

"Son I am sorry" Stoick said taking off his helmet and pulling his son in a hug.

Hiccup could take it anymore he broke in a fit of crying " Dad she's gone...my Mer is gone...its all my fault" he said between his sobs.

"Son its not your fault" Stoick reassured.

"But we are gonna avenge the blood of Fergus and his family. Drago is gonna pay!!" Stoick added.

Hiccup nodded.

"Son, the queen of Arendelle promised to help us if we needed it. You have to go there and collect an army" Stoick said and handed Hiccup a letter.

"I will handle things here" Stoick reassured and Hiccup nodded.

He jumped on Toothless and flew towards the kingdom of Arendelle.

In Arendelle few hours later

"Oh come on Snowflake, just one snowball fight" Jack pestered Elsa who was sitting in her study reading the current news.

"Jack, leave me alone!!" She snapped at him and Jack's playful expression turned into a hurt one.

"Ok" was all he said before flying out of the window.

"Stupid" Elsa muttered hitting her head onthe table. Elsa was just frustrated by hearing Drago invading different lands and killing their monarchs. Few months ago he killed Repunzal and her family. The only family Elsa had left. Jack was just trying his best to cheer her up.

She heard a knock onthe door. "Who is it?" She asked tired.

"Your highness its me Kia, a man claiming that he is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock and he has brought this letter with him" Kia explained

"Ok come in" Elsa said and Kia entered and handed her the letter.

The letter stated the treaty between Stoick and Elsa. She took a deep breath and said "Ok i am coming in a minute" She said fixing her hair and straightening her wrinkled dress.

"So Mr Haddock how can I help you?" Elsa asked Hiccup who was restlessly moving in his seat.

"You promised my father help inthe war and we need it. I want revenge. Cold blooded revenge" he stated gritting his teeth.

"Well I will help you not only by providing my own navy but providing Southern Isles Calvary and their fast archers" Elsa calmly stated.

Hiccup give a surprised look. Elsa took a deep breath and explained " I want to take revenge of my cousin's murder".

She then turned to Kai." Prepare the ship we leave for the Southern Isles tommorow" she ordered and Kaiser nodded.

Merida

"Why do you think they are treating us so nicely after you nearly killed his son" Repunzal asked when the maid finally left.

"I dont know but i suggest you not to trust them these poeple are really fishy by the way how his Flynn?" Merida asked.

Repunzal smiled " He's better thank you Merida for saving him, for a moment I thought I lost him" tears swelled up in her eyes.

"No need to thank me, it was my fault inthe first place" Merida said comforting a weeping Repunzal "and Repunzal your braver than me. If I was in your place god knows what would I do if Hiccup was about to be killed" she added.

"I hope you reunite with him soon" Repunzal said.

And Merida just thinking about Hiccup. " I hope that too" she replied.

King Arthur descended down the stairs to the palace dungeon. All the guards bowed to him and he nodded.

Without any more delay, he speed walked to his son's cell clutching his long robes so he may not trip.

"Hans!!" he shouted at his sleeping son.

"Father what are you doing here?" Hans asked utterly confused by his father's sudden presence.

"We need to talk.. son" his father said clearing his throat. Hans was beyond shocked his father never called him son. It was mostly 'worthless', 'useless', 'disgrace'.

Hans only managed to nod. King Arthur gestured the guards to open the cell door and leave.

Hans, your the only my son who is still single. If I wanted I could have gotten one of your brothers wife killed but I have decided to give you a second chance" he father and continued to after seeing Hans confused expression.

"Today I met a young women in her twenties. She was covered in ash so I couldn't see her face properly but I can guarantee you that she is beautiful. Only her bright red hair was prominent. She is very brave, loyal and most importantly a great fighter. She defeated Edward in sword fighting".

Han's eyes widened in shock. Edward the best sword fighter inthe Southern Isles was defeated by a woman.

"She is very bold with her words and is pretty confident about her actions. She also doesn't look like a person who would care material things like clothes, jewelry. She would make a excellent future queen. That's why I want you to marry her" the King demanded.

"Ok so what's in it for me?" Hans asked smirking.

"You thick headed bafoon!, don't you understand!. You will become King after my death" his father shouted standing up.

"Father are you sure?" Hans asked standing up as well.

"Ofcourse but you gotta treat the girl nicely or I will change my mind" his father said glaring at him.

"Go fix yourself up. You meet her tonight" he leaving the cell door open so he could escape.

At the time of dinner

"Merida child, I am impressed by your bravery so I have an offer to make" he said leaning near the table and entwining his fingers together.

Repunzal kicked Merida under the table as to alert her.

Merida pulled a confident expression and narrowed her eyes. "Yes?" She asked gripping her new sword.

"I want you to have the honour of being the next queen of the Southern Isles" he finnished and everyone gasped including her.

"But your highness, I am Jonathan's wife" Bertha said standing up from the table.

"Indeed you are, my child" the king agreed "but John isn't gonna be the future King".

"But I am the oldest!!" Jonathan declared.

"If John isn't going to be the future King who will be?" The present Queen asked.

"Hey wait up!! Who said I am being the future queen. I will never marry any of your sons!!" Merida declared.

"You wouldn't?" The king asked amused.

"No!! Never!" Merida said raising her sword.

"Guards!!" Was all the king said and the guards grabbed Repunzal and Lynn and put their swords against their necks.

"Repunzal!!" Merida screamed trying to run towards her but was grabbed by the guards.

"Now now Merida you can't say no. Not at any cost . If you can rebel so can I" The king said smirking evilly and stroking his long beard.

"I will ask you three times. Each time you say no, one of your family members is going to be killed and the fourth time you will be forced into this marriage. If you dont believe me try me." The King shouted throwing his glass onthe floor and it broke into thousand pieces.

"Say ' I won't' and the little girl will be killed!" The king warned.

Merida winced seeing the scene infront of her. The sharp blade on Lynn's neck and Repunzal's pleas and struggle to save her daughter. Suddenly her mind blocked and all she could see was Hiccup's face. His laugh, his loving eyes, his cheesy lines, his playful pouts, his overprotective caring nature. Everything replayed in her mind again and again until tears couldn't hold back anymore. Crying infront of the enemy was the last thing she wanted to do but couldn't help it.

Her mind cleared and her decision made." I am sorry Hiccup" she mumbled.

"What did you say?" The king asked in a teasing manner

"I will marry your son" she shouted and the guards released them.

The brothers unwillingly cheered but Merida only collasped onthe ground and started crying.

Repunzal with Lynn in her arms ran to her friend and hugged her.

Hans looked from behind the curtain his bride to be. She was no doubt beautiful, smart, confident and didn't look naive like many girls he had met. Hans couldn't deny the fact that he was devolping a tiny crush on her.

How good was his luck that soon they both will rule Southern Isles together as king and queen.

He felt sad when he saw his brave bride crying onthe floor with the brunette woman comforting her.

Marrying him wasn't that bad. ( actually it is Hans).

"I will be the one to make her smile" he decided. ( sorry place taken Hans).

Hiccup

Hiccup was restlessly walking onthe dock. His father was fighting with Drago in his base.

Hiccup wanted to join them. The flame for revenge was burning inhis heart and destroying all his humanity. He wanted to kill Drago. Cut his head off or better burn him alive.

"Jack I think you should go talk to him" Elsa said putting her hand on Jack's shoulder.

"I don't know snowflake, this isn't the Hiccup I remember. That Hiccup hated violence but this Hiccup is craving for revenge" Jack explained looking nervously at the aggressive figure onthe dock.

"He lost the love of his life. What do you expect"

"Okay" Jack said going to his friend.

"Hi Hicc" Jack said sitting at the railing of the ship's deck.

"Hi Jack" Hiccup replied staring at the crashing waves.

"So you wanna talk about it?" Jack asked suddenly and covered his mouth in shock.

Hiccup laughed dryly and shook his head " Maybe some other time not now. Thanks for asking anyway.

Five days later

"We have reached the Southern Isles!!"

Sorry for the long wait. Dad took my phone so no typing for me. I really wanted to complete in two chapters but turned out longer than I planned anyway.

One fact about me according to the ships : I first shipped Hans and Merida but then I found Merricup.

I also found the meaning of Merida.

Ok summary: Merida and the others are captured by the Southern Isles right now.
Note : southern isles is a place which doesn't think women are equal to men. That's the reason for their downfall. The king wants to change this thinking and then he meets Merida he is surprised to see a woman so skilled in fighting etc. So he decides that she will marry Hans and they will be the future rulers of southern isles.

Meanwhile Hiccup thinks Merida is dead. Well if you had read all of my one shots you will know there is nothing new inthat. He wants revenge so his father sends him to Elsa to get help. Meanwhile his father is gonna attack Drago secertly.

Jack was Hiccup's bestfriend and use to meet him in Berk but after both found the love of their lifes. They stopped meeting. Well they meet again and have a guy talk.

Well next chapter continues inthe Southern Isles which holds the most drama in this series.
