"Elsa are you sure you dont wanna join us?"Wendy her roommate asked.

"No thanks Wen"Elsa replied concentrating on her homework.

"But its Friday!! And the end of semester"Alice whined
"I know but I really need to finnish my homework"Elsa replied frustrated.

"Oh ok!" The girls said finally accepting their defeat and leaving the room.

Elsa heard muffled sounds coming from the closed door. Alice and Wendy were explaining Peter and Harry (mad hatter) why couldn't she come with them.

"Well its just you and me"she whispered to the pile of books ,. She really wanted to go with them but she always felt like a third wheel with them.

Meanwhile

"Elsa" Jack whispered fiddling with the necklace which Elsa had given him before going to college.

Ding ding

The doorbell rang but Jack just ignored it. He still kept staring at the snowflake pendant in his hands.

Ding ding. Thug!! Thug!!

The doorbell rang again followed by someone banging the door.

"Coming!" He shouted and lazily stood up from the couch to open the door.

The door opened to reveal Merida and Hiccup. "Took you long enough!" Merida said handing him the bag full of snacks and went inside.

Hiccup just stood there grinning. He was wearing a t-shirt with a picture of a black dragon.

Jack gave him a confused look. "Where's Astrid?" He asked. Astrid was Hiccup's girlfriend. She had a annoying habit of going everywhere Hiccup went. She didn't understand the term ' only friends time'.

"She had a project to work on"Hiccup explained and entered his house.

Well the day is starting good with no Astrid he thought. He and Merida didn't like Astrid because she didn't follow 'the only friends time rule'.

"Thank god" Jack exclaimed sitting beside Merida onthe couch.

"For the first time in history I agree with you frost boy" Merida said and they high fived.

Hiccup who was sitting onthe arm chair was just looking amused.

"Your hand must be feeling pretty light, Hiccup? "Jack teased and before he could reply the doorbell rang again.

"Your turn" Jack said pushing Merida off the couch." Fine fine but after this its Hicc's turn" she said and stood up.

"Guys its me Punzie"Repunzal said from the other side.

Merida rolled her eyes and opened the door. "Sorry guys I am late. I am never late..okay sometimes I am late but not always but I have perfectly good explanation. I was stuck in a traffic jam. You cons of living in a big city but you gotta love it here..." Repunzal babbled.

"Punzie your not late!" Merida cut her off annoyed

"I'm not? Oh okay good" Repunzal said smiling nervously.

"Hi guys" she greeted Jack and Hiccup. And they mumbled hi and hello's.

"So where is Jack and Merida's bestfriend?" Repunzal said smiling mischeviously looking around the room

"Our bestfriend? " they asked in unison both thinking about Elsa.

"Yeah ,Astrid" Repunzal asked and Hiccup burst out laughing.

"She's not our bestfriend!!" They said in unison both of their pale face turning red with anger.

"She's at a friend's house, completing a project" Hiccup said his face red because of laughing too much.

"I am gonna play call of duty, anyone wants to join me?" Jack asked.
And merida raised her hand. "You surprise me red head?" Jack teased.

" I would do anything to stay away from Astrid Hofferson fan club" she said gesturing to Hiccup who was showing Repunzal, pictures of his recent date with Astrid and Repunzal was commenting how cute they were looking on every pic.

"I can't believe it, your jealous" Jack said sitting on a bean bag.

"Me jealous? Are you kidding me. Why would I be jealous? " Merida was more shocked than angry.

"You like Hiccup" he whispered.
"No way! "Merida said turning red

Ding ding ding

The bell rang again. "Go see who it is Hic!!" Jack shouted and they heard him stand up muttering something.

Suddenly Hiccup's head popped inthe doorway. "Jack there is a package for you" he shouted and Jack stood up muttering something about wrong timing.

Hiccup was still standing onthe doorway staring at Merida.

Merida tried her best to ignore it but she felt her cheeks heating up.

"What!" She asked.

"No..nothing" he said sadly going back to the living room.

Back to Elsa

"Uhhhh I can't study a single word now"Elsa said frustrated hitting her head onthe table.

"I wish Hiccup was here. He would surely know how to do this even though its not his major" Elsa said. She really missed her friends especially Jack. He had the power to cheer her up anytime.

Semester break has started but all the tickets were already booked. She badly wanted to spend it with her friends.

She looked across her desk to see the picture of their picnic outing. The last one before she came to college.

"I miss you guys" she whispered. She stood up and pulled out a already packed up suitcase from underneath her bed. She kept it packed because she was in waiting if anyone cancelled their flight.

She opened the suitcase and kept the picture inside.

"Let me call Anna"she decided and clicked on Anna's icon on her phone list.

Her face became disappointed when it said "the number you dial is unavailable".

Maybe I should call Jack she thought but it was also unavailable.

"Oh well lets try Merida" she said clicking the number.

"Merida you're not supposed to kill me!!"Jack whined.

"Shut up Frost" she said suddenly her phone started vibrating.

"Who could be calling right now" she asked herself taking out her phone.

"Elsa hi"Merida greeted and Jack's ears pricked.

"I also want to talk to her!!"Jack said trying to snatch the phone from Merida.

"Wait up Elsa someone really annoying, wants to talk to you" Merida said handing the phone to Jack.

"Hey!!" Jack said taking the phone from Merida.

"Hi Elsa, how are you?"Jack asked suddenly feeling shy.

He heard Elsa giggle at the other end. "I am good how about you?" She asked.

"Well I am feeling great..not great because your gone ...I don't miss which is totally wrong. I miss you alot ....i mean alot alot. I miss you..alot..alot that's why I am feeling so great because I get to talk to you" he replied rubbing the back of his neck.

"Aww thank you my frostie guardian I miss you too" Elsa said.

"So are you coming for the Semester break, did someone cancel their seats"Jack asked.

"Sadly no"Elsa replied feeling down.

"But...but..we planned so many activities like the road trip and spending New year in Burgess and the ice skating, and..and" Jack's voice broke. He wanted the whole group to be present on New year.

"I am so sorry,really truly sorry. You know how much i want to spend New year with you guys but I can't help it".Elsa said her voice breaking.

Suddenly a idea came in Jack's mind. "Elsa what are you gonna do on Semester break?" Jack asked feeling excited.

"In my dorm room all the time but are you asking?"she asked surprised.

"No reason" he said smirking.

Ting ting!! The phone went dead.

"Stupid phone" he muttered.

"Guys!!" He said coming inthe living room.

"What?" They asked in unison.

"We are going on a early road trip" he said rubbing his hands together.

2 hours later

"Hiccup nothing should happen to my minivan"Valka said for the hundredth time.

"Nothing will happen promise mom.I am just upgrading it a little" he said cleaning his hands with a cloth.

He was right now in his parents garage. Fixing his mother's minivan for the road trip.

"The others had spread out to get food and get some money, each had also taken two pair of clothes except for Punzie"

"Hello Mrs Haddock" Merida and Jack greeted coming inside the garage with packed food for the way.

"Hello Merida and Jack. Hiccup isn't Astrid coming with you"Valka asked.

"No this is a friend's only road trip mom"Hiccup said keeping the things inthe van.

"We are here" Repunzal cheered. She and Flynn had went to buy maps, extra food for emergency, a less expensive emergency phone and also went to book a motel for the way back.

"Ok everything is here. Meet you guys here in a hour and hour means a hour Punz" Jack said and they all went in diffrent directions.

One hour later

"Yes Astrid I will be back before Monday, I am sorry but I can't take you we.. have.... ummm ....space issues.... yeah yeah I promise next time I will take you................"

"Boo!!"

"Aaagh! !, Merida you made me drop my phone" Hiccup whined picking up the his phone who's battery had come out.

"Well that was the point" Merida said shrugging her shoulders.

"What do you have against Astrid" H

"Oh really because that doesn't sound really honest!!" H

"Guys can you stop bickering like an old married couple!!" Jack shouted.

"We don't fight like a-" They said in unison and blushed.

"Okay!! If the daily Merricup argument is finished can we please start moving now" Repunzal asked.

"Aww man, I love seeing them fight" Eugene whined. "Ouch" he said pretending to be hurt when Repunzal punched his shoulder.

"Ok are we ready" Jack asked and everyone nodded except Hiccup who was texting Astrid.

"Wait a minute" Merida said and grabbed Hiccup's phone and stuffed it in her bag.

"Friends first" she said when he was about to protest.

"Ok me Jack will take turns while driving because we are only ones that know the route, so we will be sitting in front." Flynn said and others nodded.

"I will be sitting at the very back, because I hate it when someone accidentally sits on my long hair and tug it" Repunzal said stroking her waist long thick hair.

"So me and Hic inthe middle"Merida asked and everyone nodded.

Everyone hopped inside and Jack started to drive. Flynn took a nap because he had to drive overnight. Repunzal started taking pictures.

Merida started playing angry birds on her phone and Hiccup was studying the map and the routes.

The sun had already started to set and Repunzal was taking pictures of the beautiful sky. Jack just wished he would enjoy the next sunset with Elsa.

Flynn was in deep slumber. Merida had also started to doze off suddenly Hiccup's phone started ringing which made her jump.

She saw Hiccup busy reading a book about dragons.

She shut the phone and again started to doze off and soon she fell asleep.

Two hours later

Repunzal was now in a sleeping position. It was too dark to take more pictures. She was now writing on wattpad. The prince couldn't bear not to see his princess. So we decided to go on a adventure with his faithful and loyal friends to get back his princess. She poked her head up to see Flynn and Merida still sleeping soundly and Hiccup and Jack talking in hushed tones.

Then she noticed that Merida was leaning against Hiccup and he had his arm around her.

"Yaas my ship is sailing" she thought happily.

She laid back, adding this to her story. Finally she fell asleep.

"Wake up Punz" Eugene said shaking her. "What happened * yawn* ?" She asked rubbing her eyes.

"We took a stop to a diner. To get coffee" he explained and she nodded.

She took her long overcoat and hopped out from the back.

They entered the diner and joined the others. "This place has great coffee" Hiccup cheered. "Are you ok Hic you sound a little too happy for no reason" Merida asked taking a sip from her coffee.

"Must be because Astrid still didn't call till now" Jack joked.

"Shut u-" Hiccup was cut off by a ringing sound it was coming from Merida's bag.

"Speak of the dev-" Eugene stopped when Hiccup shot him a glare.

"Here ya go"Merida said handing his phone to him." And tell her not to call after this!!" She shouted to him who just gave her a thumbs up before going out.

"Well I think I will get another coffee since I will be driving all night" Eugene said standing up.

"I can't sleep a wink now" Repunzal stated eating her yellow frosting cupcake.

"Can we switch places then Punzie cause I really need proper sleep" Jack asked and she nodded.

"Ok guys I think we should go back to the road. Even we want to reach Elsa by morning"Merida said standing up

Next morning Elsa

Elsa woke up. Her hair like a birds nest. "Elsa!!" A voice called.

"God who can it be" she said pulling the blanket on herself again.
"Elsa!!" The voice called." Wendy what is it?" Elsa asked hugging her pillow.

"Its not me"Wendy replied sleepily.
"Alice stop calling Elsa"Wendy said yawning

"Alice isn't here, she left yesterday"Elsa reminded wendy.

"We must be hearing thin-" Wendy was cut short by.

Bang Bang Bang Bang!!

"Who is it?" Wendy asked her voice shaking with fear.

"Its me Peter!!" A muffled voice shouted.

Both girl sighed in relief.

Elsa slowly got up and opened the door. "Elsa!!" A fimiliar bubbly voice cheered and before Elsa knew it she was engulfed In a bear hug.

"Punz!!" Elsa shouted in disbelief and almost lost her balance.

"So you, do know them"Peter said leaning against the door way.
"Of course she knows us. We are her childhood friends for kind information"Merida shot back poking his chest.

"Oh fiery red cool down" Peter said trying to lighten the situation.

Merida's face softened seeing her bestfriend after such a long time and she joined the hug.

"Els we missed ya"she said hugging Elsa
And Elsa patted her back "Me too" elsa replied a few tears escaping her eyes.

"Aww such a sweet moment" Wendy said joining Peter near the doorway.
Peter kept staring at the group.

Wendy punched his arm "ow what was that for" he asked rubbing his arm.

"Its rude to stare" Wendy scolded.

"Well I can see your learning alot of things from your solider like boyfriend" he shot back and Wendy just rolled her eyes.

"Merida someone keeps staring at you" Repunzal teased.
Merida just rolled her eyes and said "Hey Els do ya know Punz is engaged"
Elsa suddenly shrieking like crazy and Punzie joined her. Waving her left hand inthe air. Wendy was confused but when she understood the reason she also started shrieking.

Merida left the room covering her ears. "Was that really necessary!"Peter asked coming out as well.

"What!!" She asked.
"I said ,was that really necessary!!!" He shouted onthe top of his lungs.

"Yeah it was" she said grinning like a mad man.
"What the hell is happening? " a girl asked.
They turned around to see every dorm room open and all the girls standing outside wondering what happend.

"Well Tink, a friend of Elsa's got en-mmmm" Merida instantly covered his mouth before he could utter the word 'engaged'.

"Dont you idiot" Merida hissed.

"I know what I am doing"Peter said fixing his cap.

"Oh well I will be going then" Merida said grabbing Elsa's suitcase and running down stairs.

"Oh well Elsa's friend is engaged" Peter was all he could say before a huge wave of screaming and shrieking began.

All the girls were jumping up and down excited. Only few like Mulan went back inside their room.

(10 shrieking minutes later)

"Guys I am so happy to see you!!" Elsa said running towards the campus garden where the others were waiting. Repunzal followed behind carrying another suitcase.

Elsa hugged Hiccup and Eugene but Jack was no where to be found.

"Where's Jack?" She asked. She felt a tap on her shoulder. "Hi there snowflake" Jack said as she turned around to see Jack holding a single white rose, her favourite.

"Jack!!" she screamed before she attacked him in a bear hug. They finally got reunited after such long time.

One week later

They were driving to the lantern lake. To see the floating lanterns. A pretty unique way to celebrate New year suggested by Punzie.

"You guys are gonna love it" Repunzal said jumping up and down inthe car seat.

They had gone on another road trip but this time on a longer one. They were going to the small town Corona. Repunzal and Eugene's home town. It was small town filled with happy, bubbly poeple. Every new year, poeple release the floating lanterns inthe sky as to say goodbye to the old year.

The next morning every meets at center town park and group dance as to welcome the new year. Repunzal was really excited to dance but the others not so much.

"Turn left" Repunzal said to Eugene who was driving the car. They were sitting in front. Behind them Jack, Elsa and Merida were sitting. Hiccup was at the back with Toothless.

Repunzal and Eugene were discussing about their future wedding. Hiccup was reading while Toothless on his lap was sleeping. Merida was also sleeping. Elsa was sitting inthe middle talking to Wendy onthe phone. Jack was just leaning against the window feeling nervous about something.

They finally took a stop at the gas station which had a little cafe as well. Every one rested a little. The girls left for the restroom.

"Are you ready Jack?" Hiccup asked.
"You better be, I didn't plan this much just so you can wimp out at the last second" Flynn said.

"Guys no need to worry, I am ready" Jack reassured.
They both nodded and they left the cafe waiting for the girls inthe car. They finally reached Repunzal's grandmother's house. Every one took a shower and got ready to leave. At 10 pm they reached the park. They spent one and a half hour laughing having fun.

At 11:30 everyone started lining up getting ready to sit onthe boats that were lined against the river. Two men were standing onthe edge helping poeple inthe boats and handing them the lanterns.

They were now standing in line. Repunzal still didn't tell them the catch of the boats.
The boys were standing inthe front and the girls behind, Toothless was at Repunzal's grandmother's house.

"Punz I dont think we will get a boat, Considering the amount of poeple in line" Elsa asked worried. Repunzal shook her head and smiled. "You have to make reservations for the boats, good thing my grandmother is in charge of making the lanterns so we didn't have problem getting the tickets" she explained and the two nodded. She then fished out six tickets from her coat pocket.

"Here you go guys" she said handing their tickets with their names on it.

Eugene and Repunzal's turn came and they handed their tickets to the man who gave them their assigned lanterns. In which their names were written.

They climbed the two seat boat and Eugene started rowing it away from the shore.

Merida and Hiccup were standing next. 'Umm isn't there a boat for four poeple" she asked handing him the ticket.

"No ma'am these are the couples boat, the family boats are onthe the other side". The man explained
" Wait..couple boat"Merida gulped.
"Yeah this ticket says that your with some name ..um.Hiccup?" The man said examining the ticket.

"That would be me" Hiccup said raising his hand.
The man grinned" Nice name" he joked and Hiccup chuckled with him. "I know" he replied.

"Wait I can't go with you"Merida said.
"Why not Mer?" He asked annoyed.
"Your with Astrid" she replied.
'So what your my bestfriend" he replied.
"I don't kn-" Merida was cut off by the service man.

"Young lady I insist you go with this young men, he sounds pretty stubborn" the man said grinning.

Merida turned around to see everyone staring at them. "Fine" she whispered getting inthe boat.

The man then handed Hiccup the two lanterns. "Thank you" Hiccup said to the man." No problem kid, you guys remind me of my days with Caroline. She was as stubborn as your Merida" the man said.

Hiccup climbed the boat steadily holding the two lanterns.

Next was Jack and Elsa. "I hope you dont want to create a another little drama like your friends" the man asked.

"No Sir we don't" Jack said putting his arm around Elsa. Who was blushing madly.

Elsa punched Jack's shoulder playfully. The man laughed whole heartily and helped Elsa inthe boat. He handed Jack the lanterns.

"And kid" he stopped Jack. "Yes sir" Jack asked." Goodluck with the proposal" he whispered and Jack's eyes widened.

He carefully sat onthe boat and handed the lanterns to Elsa with shaking hands.

"You look nervous, everything ok" Elsa asked.

"Yeah yea everything is fine, perfectly fine" he said rubbing the back of his neck and then started rowing.

By the time they rowed to the middle of the lake it was 11:50. Only ten minutes to go.

Repunzal was looking at the boat beside her. Jelsa's boat was inthe middle and on left side Eugenzal and right side Merricup .

"Blondie can you look at me for a while" Eugene said taking her small hand in his.

"Oops sorry, I am just so happy that both of my ships are sailing" she said her eyes glowing.

"Well now its Eugenzal time" he said gripping both of her hands tightly.

Repunzal just giggled.

"Soo.."Merida said trying to end the awkwardness.
"Well I never knew you were such a drama queen" he joked.
"Why you Haddock" Merida said raising her fist.

"Easy there Mer or I am gonna tip the boat" he said grinning.
"You wouldn't" she dared." I would" he said grinning.

"Nuh uh, the water is freezing and you know perfectly well that both us dont know hiw to swim, thats not the rational Hiccup I know" she said crossing her arms.

"Well Mer I can't help it. When it comes to you I become irrational" he said smiling brightly.

"What da ya mean? " she asked.
"Mer you know perfectly well what I mean, you maybe total opposite of me but you complete me and well umm...I am not good with these speeches thats more of a Flynn department. But will you be my girlfriend? " he asked looking down.

"What about Astrid? " she asked shyly. Hiccup shook his head and chuckled taking out his phone." You really need to check my Facebook more often" Hiccup said showing his relationship status that was single

"Hiccup you and your phone" she said smiling shyly. "So is that a yes" he asked Merida just shyly nodded her red curl shaking.

"Yaas!! Selfie time" he said sitting beside her. His hand and on her shoulder.
" Cheese" they shouted and he quickly kissed her cheek before the flash went off.

"Haha this is best" he said when the picture showed Merida's surprised face.

Elsa was keenly watching her two friends that were on her right.

11:55pm

"Umm Elsa" Jack whispered shyly.
"Yes Jack" she replied.

"Here it goes" he said taking both of her hands.

"Elsa we have been bestfriends since kindergarten. We all have been but you were always there for me, taking my side in every matter. We helped each other in hard times, never left each others side. We even gave dating advice to eachother. I didn't know your importance until you left for college. Then I understood how much I needed you. After such a long time I got you back and I am not letting you. I think its time to make a new bond between us. The best bond inthe world. So Elsa will you-"

Boom!! Boom!! The fireworks started exploding. The fireworks said

Elsa will you marry me

Elsa was stunned. "Yes! A thousand times yes!" She shouted and Jack slipped the daimond ring on her finger.

"This is my girl!!"Jack shouted holding Elsa and raising it inthe sky. Everyone around them started cheering and clapping.
