"taehyungie!" both of them turned around to look at where the voice was coming from. jeongguk saw a big merman approach them, he had a golden tail and hair, and he remembered it was taehyung's brother, seokjin.

he slowly moved near taehyung again and hid himself behind his back, he had no idea what seokjin would think.

"hi jinnie. look jeongguk is finally here!" he said as he clapped his hands so jeongguk let his head peak out from behind taehyung, so he could greet the other merman.

"h-hi." he said quietly and bowed his head. the golden merman didn't say anything, he watched his features carefully, but with a soft look. he moved his gaze to the boy's legs and smiled, jeongguk assumed it was the first time he had ever seen a human.

"nice to me you jeongguk! taehyung talked so much about you but you're really different from what i expected. feel welcomed here, quite everyone knew you were coming." he explained and taehyung whined, but jeongguk only laughed.

"jimin is waiting for you two in the castle!" seokjin added and smiled at the two before leaving quickly. jeongguk turned back to taehyung and waited for him to move, as he had no idea where the castle were.

he followed him once again until they reached the said castle, which were much bigger than what jeongguk had expected.

"hello, sir taehyung." one of the guard said. jeongguk looked at taehyung with wide eyes but the merman looked away.

they entered the castle, and jeongguk was able to actually walk while taehyung kept floating. he didn't understand everything that was happening but he went with it, it didn't seem to worry taehyung so it was fine.

they never once let go of each other hands, and they reached what looked like an office, arranged for mermaids obviously.

"hi, father.." taehyung said quietly, and jeongguk saw a really big merman come out of the crook of the room. he was bigger than taehyung, and his color was silver, almost white, like he was aging.

"taehyung. i already told you to wear your crown whenever you come in the kingdom." the older male said with a stern voice that made jeongguk shiver. he looked at taehyung who once, looked away.

"father i-"

"taehyung. your crown." he repeated and taehyung obliged, he slowly let go of jeongguk's hand to reach for the big crown and he put it in place on his head messily.

he moved back to jeongguk who was as quiet as possible, and it was almost like taehyung's father didn't notice him.

that was until taehyung wrapped his arms around his waist and brought the attention on him.

"you must be jeongguk. the black haired human who keeps distracting my son." he said and scanned him from head to toe.

he opened his mouth to talk but taehyung cut him. "don't." he just said and pulled jeongguk out of the office.

"i'm sorry..." he said, still not looking into his eyes. jeongguk smiled fondly and hugged him tightly.

"it's alright pretty." he said in his ear. he pulled away and slowly brought his hand up to his hair. he removed the crown from his head to brush his messy locks in place, before putting it back in place perfectly.

"you look wonderful like that." he added and they finally locked eyes. he leaned in to kiss him but stopped, he had no idea if he could kiss him there or not, but that was quickly solved when taehyung pulled him by his nape and kissed him.

"taetae!" they heard so they pulled away, slowly since taehyung didn't seem startled at all. jeongguk was blushing madly when he faced a small merman, he guessed it was jimin.

the said merman threw himself at jeongguk and hugged him tightly. "thank you so so so much for making my taetae this happy!" he let out, and jeongguk smiled as wide as possible.

"minnie let him go you're gonna kill him.." taehyung laughed out and went to jeongguk's rescue. jimin took an other look at him, he examined his face, his hair, his arms and his legs.

"you were right he's definitely way too pretty to be a human!" he nodded to himself and smiled at both of them.

taehyung was about to reply when they heard someone shout jimin's name, so he had to leave.

"i'll see you later guys and taehyung, don't waste that beauty, marry him." he said and winked before disappearing.

taehyung was looking away while biting his lip to suppress a smile, but jeongguk just laughed and pulled him to nowhere in particular.

"you should show me around! where do you live?" he said excitedly. taehyung took his hand in his and started to move up the castle, to reach the highest room.

he opened the double doors and let jeongguk in, he was surprised to see a bed, much bigger than a human bed though, he saw a big mirror covering a huge dressing, and a big couch in the corner.

he walked towards the huge window, opening it to go on the balcony. he could see the whole kingdom, and it was actually getting darker, so some lights were starting to appear.

he stayed there for awhile, watching the bright pastel colors disappeared in the dark, letting place for all the beautiful lights.

he turned back around to find taehyung watching him, laying in his huge bed. his pink tail was almost all fitting on the bed, but some of his fins were still too long to fit in.

he smiled at the merman, he took time to watch him, he looked so ethereal, laying down on his shiny white bed, with his crown still on his head, his long tail taking up the space.

"come here.." taehyung whined in a deep voice, when he could he reached for his hips and sat him down on his waist.

they stared at each other for a small while, and taehyung knew he would have a hard time when he saw jeongguk's smirk.

"so... sir taehyung huh?" he said and bent down to reach for his neck. he pressed small kisses on his warm skin, the last on being just next to his gills.

"so what are you? a king? i can't believe you didn't tell me!" he said as he looked back in his eyes.

"my father is the king, but as you can see he's aging, so i'm the prince and the first heir... that's why i have to wear a crown and seokjinie doesn't.." he explained calmly.

"do you not want to be a king?" jeongguk asked more seriously. the other just shrugged and changed the subject. he took his crown off his head and put it neatly on jeongguk's.

he smiled so much his eyes almost disappeared, and jeongguk just smiled as much. he bent down again, and kissed his lips tenderly, still being careful the crown wouldn't fall.

he felt his hands stay still on his waist, and he smiled into the kiss. "you can touch me you know?" he said above his lips before kissing them again. taehyung hummed shyly but still didn't move his hands.

jeongguk pulled away and saw his cheeks were bright pink. he smiled again and saw how he was looking at his bare chest.

he gently took his hands off his waist and put them on his chest. he smirked and made them slide down on his abs, then on his thighs, and when he bent down a little bit, he let them rest on his ass.

he chuckled when taehyung's whole face was pink and hot. he kissed all over it quickly to make the blush disappear, just staying on his adorable cheeks.

"you used to be pretty confident when you touched my butt and kissed my thighs what happened baby?" he asked with a smile and pecked his lips.

the merman looked away and replied "i don't know... it's different now.." quietly. the boy tilted his head on the side and asked how come it was.

"because you said you l-like me back a-and it changed a lot..." he stuttered out, his blush coming back.

"you're so cute.. it shouldn't change anything pretty, you should even be more touchy now" he chuckled and laid down next to him, after having taken off the crown.

"i'll try." taehyung said and pecked jeongguk's soft lips, which brought the biggest smile on his face.

they stayed close to each other, with taehyung stroking the pitch black locks, soothing the boy down.

"i'm falling asleep baby.." he let out in the smallest voice. taehyung cooed and tilted his head so he could kiss him one last time, before cuddling him tightly.

"rest well handsome." he whispered and let himself fall asleep too.
