You were quietly enjoying your tea, while watching TV, when all of a sudden an announcement came on.
Come and see a once in a lifetime experience. You will have the opportunity to see, and if your lucky buy a real live merman.
Your eyes widen, as you turn your full attention to the television.
It then showed a merman, but not just any merman.
It was Levi.
"Motherfuckers!" You yell as you suddenly shoot upright, spilling the tea everywhere.
Your eye twitched angrily as you saw all the information needed in order to contact the people.
You gave a frustrated sigh, as you ran your fingers through your hair.
"Goddammit, I have no choice." You mumble as you pick up the phone to make some calls.
You hear the phone ring, and that was when the familiar male voice speaks up on the other end.
"Hey Erwin, I need help." You say.
"Sure, what do you need help with?" He asks.
"I need you to contact my bank, and withdraw some money, not only that, but I also need you to go and get Eren and Mikasa as well, after all they still owe me a few favors." You say seriously.
"You joking right?" Erwin asks.
"No, this is serious, and I'm gonna handle the situation myself." You say.
"Are you sure? I can tag along." Erwin says worryingly.
"My father wasn't the fucking head of the mafia for nothing, he taught me everything I know before his untimely death, so start working now." That was all you said, before hanging up the phone.
"Don't worry Levi, I'll save ya." You say, glaring viscously at the television, before heading out to the beach.
------------------Time Skip----------------
You finally made it to the beach, and you began to run toward the meeting place you and Levi set up.
"Hanji!" You shout as loudly as you could, when you finally reached the meeting place.
"Hanji!" You call out again.
"(F/N)!" The familiar voice calls back.
You snap your head towards the voice, and saw Hanji with her head sticking out of the water.
"(F/N), Levi-" before she said anything else, you interrupted her.
"I know, that's why I came here, I need you to come with me!" You say hastily.
"But I don't have any clothes!" Hanji shouts.
"Here!" You say as you drop the paper bag you were carrying.
You quickly turn around, and after a few minutes, you hear Hanji call out to you.
You turn around, and saw her fully dressed.
"Great, lets go! I have someone to meet." You say, as you grab Hanji by the wrist, and started to run towards your car.
____________Levi's POV____________
It's been a few hours since I was taken.
I was placed in a large tank filled with water.
I managed to catch some of the conversations the humans were having about me.
I was going to be sold, and I had no way out of this.
They sealed the top of the tank, so I couldn't get out no matter how hard I struggled.
"Okay, were gonna be starting the auction!" A man shouts, and the large group of humans began to quiet down.
"Starting at $15,000!" He shouts.
"Here!" Another man shouts.
After a few minutes, the bids reached $788,000.
"$788,000, going once.......going twice...." Just as the man was about to say sold, a new voice interrupts him.
"One million dollars!"
Everyone began to talk at once at such a high bid.
"Any more bids!" The announcer shouts.
"2 million" the man from before shouts, almost desperate.
"5 million!" The new voice shouts, and more voices begin to talk.
"Sold for 5 million!" The announcer shouts quickly.
I am immediately wheeled off the stage, causing me to be thrown back and forth.
After what seemed to be a few hours of waiting backstage, I finally see someone begin to walk towards me.
They were in a cloak, so I couldn't see their face.
I hissed at them, showing my sharp teeth, and they seemed taken aback for a moment before regaining their composure.
They let out a chuckle, before saying "Jeez Levi, you seemed to be as threatening as the kitten that I got."
My eyes widen, as I recognize that voice.
"(F-F/N)?" I ask.
"About time." She says as she takes off her cloak, revealing her face.
"H-How-" Before I could continue, I was interrupted by a loud voice.
"Leeevvviiii!" I see Hanji running out from behind (F/N).
"Did you know that (F/N) was apart of the Mafia, and not just any member too, she's the daughter of the old Mafia leader!" Hanji shouts excitedly.
My eyes widen a bit, before snapping them towards (F/N).
"Ehehehe, I've been meaning to tell you." she says as she scratches the back of her head, giving me a lopsided grin.
"Anyway, lets get you out of there." She says as she lifts the lid off.
She then sets a paper bag down, and turns around.
____________Your POV ____________
After Levi was done changing, you turned back around, and hugged him tightly.
"I'm glad your alright." You mumble as you bury your head in his chest.
You feel Levi stiffen at the contact, but he slowly wraps his arms around you.
"Tch, stupid brat, spending so much money." Levi grumbles, but you can tell that he was actually happy.
"Eh, don't worry, I have a lot more." You say casually as you give a cheerful smile.
Levi and Hanji both sweat-drop as they think the same thing, 'How much money does this chick have?'
"Oh, that reminds me, we should get going." You say as you look around.
"Why?" Hanji asks.
"Well, I am allegedly the new leader of the Mafia, that means a lot of people are after my head." You say, as you pull your cell phone out, and dialed a number.
After it rang a few times, the familiar voice of Erwin answered.
"Yo, Erwin. Are Eren and Mikasa here yet?" You ask.
"Yeah, they should be there by now, and have left the other car." Erwin says.
"Thanks again, I owe ya one." You say.
"Don't mention it, after all your father and I did go way back. It's the least I could do." He says before hanging up.
"Okay, lets get going." You say, as you, Levi, and Hanji walk out of the wearhouse type building, and to a different car then from the usual one that you drive.
You open the door, and got into the drivers seat.
Levi had gotten into the passenger seat, while Hanji got into the back.
Everyone were strapped into their seatbelts, before you had started to drive off towards the beach.
About half way through, a pair of headlights shined in your rearview mirror.
"Shit!" You cursed loudly.
"What is it?" Hanji asks.
"These assholes are following us, and I have an idea on who the are." You say, as you pressed your foot down further on the gas pedal.
"Everyone hold on." You say, as you make a sharp left turn.
You look in the mirror, and saw the car still there.
You clicked your tounge, before pressing all the way down on the gas pedal.
You made many left and right turns. Levi and Hanji were being thrown about, as you try and throw off the car tailing you.
After making sure you lost them, you quickly made your way towards the beach.
Once there, you urged everyone out of the car immediately.
But, that was when the pair of headlights appeared again.
"Fuck, everyone move it!" You shout, as you grabbed Hanji's and Levi's wrist, and began to drag them towards the nearby cliff.
Once there, you say "Hanji jump!"
She seemed hesitant, but you couldn't waste any time at the moment, so you pushed her off.
You heard her yelp, as both of her feet left the solid ground, and soon after a loud splash was heard.
You and Levi were about to jump as well, but a voice stops you.
"Freeze, or I pull the trigger!"
You stop dead in your tracks, and smirked.
"Well, well, well, its been a while hasn't it......Reiner." You say, a hint of venom in your normally happy voice.
You slowly turned around, only to reveal a well built male, with short blond hair, and behind them were two other people.
"Well, its a surprise to see you two again, Annie and Bertholdt." You spit out.
"Give us the merman, and we won't shoot you." Reiner says, snapping your attention back to the said man.
You chuckle as you say, "You first betray my father, so now your going after me, how expected of a bunch of traitors."
You hear Reiner click his tounge, before pulling back the hammer of the gun.
"I'll give you to the count of ten." He says gravely.
"One."
You saw Levi's eyes widen a bit, and he slowly began to move forward, but you grabbed his arm before he could take another step.
"Two." Reiner continues.
"Levi." You say, causing him to look at you.
"Trust me." You say, a look of determination on your face.
Levi seemed to be hesitant.
"Please, don't turn yourself over to them. You have to trust me." You say, trying to convince the man to not turn himself over.
"Five."
You click your tounge, as you did something that no one had expected.
___________Levi's POV_____________
My eyes widen, as my mind tries to figure out what is happening.
I feel something soft of my lips, and my eyes widen further as I finally realize what is going on.
"Sorry." I hear (F/N) mutter as she pulls away from me.
For some reason, I feel as if I didn't want that kiss to end so soon, even in the situation we were in.
But, the thought was soon brushed away, when I suddenly feel a sudden pressure on my chest, and the feeling of falling soon takes over.
My eyes widen even further as I realized what had happened.
(F/N) had just pushed me off the cliff.
I stare wide eyed, as I continue to look at her.
She was smiling, a single tear going down the left side of her face as she stands near the edge of the cliff, and soon enough, a loud noise that will forever haunt my nightmares enters my eardrums.
